Cannot go wrong with PGH DJ Co!
Pittsburgh DJ Co truly deserves all 5 stars! They were fairly priced, easy to work with, and responsive. They were very easy to communicate with and all responded quickly. Our DJ, Dave Brehl, mixed our music taste in the wedding classics. He even downloaded music on the spot for some requests! We really appreciated their attentiveness to our guests and ability to get – and keep – folks on the dance floor all night!

Pat was in constant communication with us leading up to the event. Answered all questions in a prompt manner. His input on the different songs for the special moments during the event was perfect. Lastly, he kept the dance floor full all night with his selections and we had a wide age range!

Everyone was dancing!
So important to me that everyone was dancing the whole time. The DJ was so so important in making that energy stay alive all night. They did an incredible job and were very professional! They made us feel at ease going into things because it was very clear they knew how to run a wedding.

best day ever!!
Working with Pittsburgh DJ Co for our wedding day was seamless. DJ Chris B. communicated with us a lot before our wedding and made sure everything went perfectly. He worked so well with our day of coordinator and the venue when we were a little behind on our timeline and checked in frequently throughout the night to make sure we were okay and kept us informed. He was the best DJ we could’ve asked for. The transitions between songs were so natural and he kept the dancefloor packed all night. I truly didn’t want the wedding night to end, he crushed the music and was just so easy to work with. Thank you so much Chris!

We have booked Bob T. for 2 events and every time he plays the best music and gets our boring lunchtime crowd up and excited! He shows up early and always checks in to make sure our event specifics are all set. I also love how it was a one-stop shop, with no sound guy or wires everywhere, he just pulls up, sets up, and is ready to party!

Phenomenal DJ company and vendor
We had a great time with Pat from the Pittsburgh DJ company. My husband and I are from two different cultures and wanted the wedding reception music to reflect our backgrounds and guests. Pat did it perfectly and kept the vibes throughout the whole wedding reception. We highly recommend their services. We found this company recommended on an online forum and are so happy we chose them. They were professional and organized throughout the process and were able to handle our requests seamlessly. We are so happy we went with their company for DJ and photography services.

Easy and amazing
This company was able to provide us with all our needs for the wedding. We used them for ceremony music and microphones as well as DJ for reception. A form is sent to you after booking that allows you to ensure all your needs are met. We had DJ Rob and he was great was able to use blue tooth speakers for our ceremony which allowed our guests to go inside the reception venue immediately without him having to set up! Listened well to our must play and don’t play list also took requests from guests.

A great DJ

DJ Dave Brehl was awesome! He went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day ran smoothly. Leading up to the day he was responsive, took the time to talk through our music selections and timeline for the day and even offered his suggestions on how to keep the night running smoothly. The day of he worked diligently with our venue, photographer and us to make sure everything proceeded on time. He kept the dance floor packed all night long, with everyone from kids to adults! He was able to easily read the room and transition from song to song to provide a night to remember for all of our guests. If you're looking for a reliable, fun DJ, we cannot recommend DJ Dave enough!

DJ Bob KILLED IT at our wedding!! He had everyone on the dance floor all night long from the oldest ladies to the youngest babies. He truly brought the party.
Before the big day, the planning process was SO easy-- DJ Bob provided guidance on the ideal timeline and the event flowed perfectly, he read the room and played all crowd pleasers (as well as our special requests at the most ideal times). Flexible, Communicative, Fun and the best music!!
DJ Chris Bennett crushed it! The music was awesome, and really well paced as far as oldies, new stuff, group dances, etc. I feel like he could sense what the dance floor needed and always had the best song to play next. He crushed it with all our announcements, and was super flexible when we wanted to change a few things. Chris was so easy to work with, both pre-planning and during the event.
Pre - planning, I really appreciated his feedback and recommendations on songs / timing, given his expertise.
During the event - our event coordinator had the DJ set up in the wrong spot, and when we arrived to the venue and saw this, Chris was more than happy to move last minute to accommodate us. It saved the night. DJ Chris was also very flexible on some of the changes we made at the event just based on how things were moving along.
I was so stressed planning the wedding, but DJ Chris and Pittsburgh DJ Company made this part so easy. They have a customer portal to access all your info, make payments and to help communicate with your DJ on how you want the day to go. They are also very responsive when it comes to questions via email, etc.
I cannot thank them enough, and would encourage anyone looking for a DJ to check them out.

DJ Bob Teagarden was so wonderful! He made the entire process so easy for us. Kindly reminding me of every step and deadline along the way. He gave great advice and created really special moments. We had all 8 grandparents, and he made a very special moment for my family bringing them all up. He kept the night fun and stress free. I highly recommend using him for any wedding, big or small. Josh G did such an amazing job with our reception and cocktail hour. He took all of the guests request with ease and made it a blast for everyone! We definitely threw him some curve balls but he never complained and had fun with it! While we couldnt attend the cocktail hour we heard a little sample of what was playing as we walked around the grounds for pictures and it sounded exactly like the vibe we had in mind. Brian B coordinated our live musicians for the ceremony and he was a joy to work with. He hooked us up with 2 lovely instrumentalists that did a GREAT job. DJ Bob T was perfect for our 50th class reunion at Seven Springs. He followed the event plan form to a T. He responded immediately to texts and phone calls. He was well prepared with the song list we wanted from the late 60's - early 70's. He arrived early for setup. His equipment is top of the line! Bob handled all requests. His MC skills are wonderful and he kept everyone happy. He stayed an extra hour per our request. Bob was great to work with. He enjoys his work and is very professional. He will contribute to any celebration.

Chris was an awesome DJ and went above and beyond to make our wedding day run smoothly! He spent time with us before the wedding day to go over our planning worksheets, making sure he had the right versions of our songs and practiced the names of our wedding party, and on the day of, he worked with our photographer and venue to make sure everything proceeded on time. He made sure we had time to eat and reminded us to calm down and enjoy ourselves throughout the night. He even went 5 minutes over to play our last songs. We highly recommend!

DJ Bob handled our wedding and the evening was wonderful! Lots of our gas commented on how on point the musical selection was starting with the ceremony all the way through the end of the reception. It was awesome
This company and the DJ they sent us, Bob Teagarden were amazing! What we really valued from them both was their experience and ability to truly help plan for what we needed. They were honest about “extras” even if that meant they wouldn’t make as much money. The honesty and genuineness is more than we could have asked for, not to mention they did a fantastic job providing audio to three different locations at our wedding.

Best DJ You Could EVER Ask For!!!
Josh was our DJ and this guy was so much fun! From our first phone conversation, he made it clear what is important to him – that the does the best possible job to make our wedding spectacular. He was prompt to set up and made sure he took the time to ask detailed questions to ensure he hit all the important things to us. His effort in keeping us happy on the wedding day is unparalleled. I got a blister from my shoes and somehow, he disappeared for 30seconds and returned with a handful of Band-Aids. It was awesome that he went over and beyond to help make sure I was taken care of. He did a great job of keeping the evening flowing and moving things along seamlessly. Our dance floor was never empty. He knows how to read a crowd and keep a party going. Periodically he checked in with us to ask if we needed or wanted anything throughout the reception. He loves a good party and knows how to keep it going. If you go with this DJ company, Josh is the man to pick!

Chris was AMAZING!! He helped make our wedding day perfect! Not only was he super fun and down to earth but all of our guests were so impressed with him! The songs were so fun and everyone was on the dance floor! We would give him a 10 for everything if the score went up that high! We would highly recommend him to anyone! Thank you so much!! If you want an amazing DJ at a reasonable cost use Pittsburgh DJ company and use CHRIS!

Dean from Pittsburgh DJ Company was THE PERFECT DJ for our wedding! Pittsburgh DJ Co has a great online portal where you can select songs and share context for your events, and I immediately felt I could trust them with the logistics, name pronunciations, and choices. Dean himself is lovely; he's a fun and kind professional. He reads the room well and has a great knack for transitioning songs and keeping the dance floor going. I loved that he was respectful: he's not one of those DJ's that's trying to get up in the dance floor and call out specific people or make it weird or about him; he's there to make you all feel like the stars. Dean worked with us on specific requests and made them all possible. I've had people texting me for days about what a great DJ and setlist we had. The dance light package is also awesome and super fun. Thank you Dean and Pittsburgh DJ Co!!!

Great DJ for our wedding
Dave Dj'd our wedding and he truly brought the party! He was flexible and accommodating. He picked just the right music to get everyone on the dance floor and took a good amount of requests! They made the planning process easy by always answering emails and providing planning sheets for us to fill out.

The Pittsburgh DJ Company is a well oiled machine and could not have made the process for us easier. We got married on 6/5/21 and used them for our ceremony and reception. Between the online portal and wonderful communication with Jasmine, we never had to worry about the planning process. The DJ provided, Joe, was a pleasure to work with and was always available for a call/text for ideas. His equipment was top-notch and kept the guests dancing all night.

Wedding DJ
Dean was a class act. He was very professional throughout the planning process and exceeded all of our expectations during our wedding reception. He was interested in knowing our music preferences beforehand and knew when to skip ahead a song if the dance floor wasn’t feeling it. He was genuinely interested in making sure everyone had a good time and getting people dancing. Jasmine was also great to work with an answered all of our questions quickly. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a wedding DJ!

Perfect Wedding DJ
I used the Pittsburgh DJ Company for my wedding 10/10/2020 and Josh G our DJ did amazing!! I highly recommend this company it is very professional and offers online timelines and allows couples to create there song list. I felt so organized and was able to meet Josh G before my wedding date for a meeting to go over details and name pronunciation. Shoutout to DJ Josh G for making the party amazing, staying late and providing music for an amazing ceremony. I can’t thank this company enough for all there hard work and kindness. 10/10 recommend. I was able to work with this company from Germany and it worked out perfectly even though I or my husband are not from the area!

DJ Dean was our DJ for our August wedding. I can’t explain how flexible and communicative Dean and Jasmine were through our Covid reschedule and in the weeks leading up to our wedding. Their online portal was perfect for helping us plan and organize the day as well. DJ Dean was so easy to work with and handled our families and guest with professionalism while staying true to our requests for the evening. Because we were able to give a few of our favorite songs, the vibe for the wedding was spot on. Everyone was dancing at some point and the mix of songs matched us perfectly. DJ Pat made our dream night happen
I cannot say enough about this company. DJ Pat was INCREDIBLE. He kept the party going all night long, played all of our favorite songs (and a few great extras) and kept everyone on the dance floor the entire time. He was an amazing host and I can't recommend him enough. Literally every single guest danced the entire night. I've never been part of something like it.

Best DJ Co. in Pittsburgh
I have been to very few weddings where the dance floor is full all night, but that was mine and my husband’s goal for our reception. DJ Joe Orbovich helped us achieve this goal. He played something for everyone, and we had so much fun! Joe and the staff at Pittsburgh DJ Co. were helpful and professional throughout the process, and we loved the ease of using the online worksheet to plan everything out. DJ Dean was amazing!
The vendor that we stressed most about leading up to our wedding was the DJ - there are so many out there it can be hard to figure out who will fit your expectations - so we were super anxious when 1 month before our wedding, our DJ unexpectedly had to cancel. DJ Dean was our replacement DJ and let me tell you we could not be more thrilled that he did our wedding! He was super easy to work with - answered all of my last minute questions and eased my concerns. We didn't want anything cheesy/showy from a DJ and he reassured me multiple times that he makes the party for our guests, HE is not the party (perfect!). He was very professional and kept things moving smoothly throughout the reception. He respected our do not play list and his music selection was fabulous- he could really read the crowd and kept the dance floor packed. We got so many compliments on the music! He also did some uplights for our dinner that really complimented the space. All this to say - we loved our experience with DJ Dean! Thank you so much for being a part of our day!

Awesome experience
We booked Joe for our wedding and I'm so glad we did! Our ceremony and reception where in the same area and therefore needed a DJ for both. Joe pulled this off flawlessly. He checked with me before the ceremony to make sure everything was correct. He stuck to my "do not playlist" and played the perfect mix of music that kept everyone (myself included) on the dance floor until the end of the night. All of our guests couldn't say enough how much fun they had at our wedding and our DJ was definitely a contributing factor!

From the first meeting, we knew that the Pittsburgh DJ Company was a great pick for our wedding. Anytime we had questions or needed information they were quick to respond. We had a giant issue with our origional DJ the Sunday before our wedding. Monday came and I scrambled to find a new DJ. Not only was Pittsburgh DJ Company quick to respond but they were more than gracious in helping us in a tight situation. They quickly found us a new DJ and were able to pull it all together for us 5 days before the wedding. DJ Joe was absolutely wonderful. Not only was he professional, but also so sweet. He made sure everything was perfect for us, he made sure to ask anything he was unsure of due to short notice and he kept the party going all night. Do yourself a favor and don't look anywhere else. This company saved our wedding in more ways than one!

We appreciated the fact that they followed through with the bride's and groom's wishes and gave them time to greet their guests before getting into the wedding activities and dancing music. They kept the crowd on the dance floor! Loved their music selections. They fit in nicely with the crowd! They were friendly and professional, and got the job done perfectly! DJ Dean and his assistant were fabulous during my recent wedding reception! They played energetic music and were really able to read the crowd. They also were flexible and made sure to follow our requests, including a few songs important to my family. We also booked the acoustic guitarist and photo booth through Pittsburgh DJ Company, both of which were professional and wonderful additions to our reception. Plus, all communication ahead of time was timely and quickly met with an answer. Jasmine was extremely helpful throughout this entire process. We had DJ Bob at our June 2018 wedding and he was awesome! The online worksheet was great to work on at our own pace during the wedding planning process. We spoke to Bob on the phone about a week before the wedding to finalize and confirm all the details that we input on the site. He was so easy to work with! We actually got to meet him the day before our wedding because he swung by the reception venue to refresh himself on the layout of the space and you could tell that he really cared about our day going smoothly. We were also worried about the usual overplayed wedding music, but the songs were on point all night long. I would absolutely recommend Pittsburgh DJ Company and DJ Bob!

We loved working with Pittsburgh DJ Company! We had DJ Chris Bennett and we could not have asked for a better night! The entire process was easy and smooth. From our initial meeting to our last minute detail planning, Chris was always available to answer questions and provide advice. We also liked that this company allowed us to fill out a simple worksheet so that all of our important songs, events, and people speaking were highlighted. Chris really brought the energy to the party from the minute our bridal party walked out of the limo until the end of the night with the last few people dancing. He followed the mood of the crowd perfectly and played many of the songs that were on our song request sheet at the right times. Many of our guests also enjoyed the music he played during dinner as well. Throughout the night, Chris would check in on us to let us know how we were doing on time and what events were coming up next which was very helpful. So many of our guests commented on how well our DJ worked with the crowd and the other vendors as well! Overall, we couldn't recommend DJ Chris and Pittsburgh DJ Company ENOUGH and we are so pleased with their service! :)

DJ Dean and the Pittsburgh DJ company were AMAZING to work with!! Leading up to the wedding, their team made me feel completely at ease, were super responsive, and provide access to an awesome online portal to track payments, edit the timeline, input song requests, etc.
They really care about their clients and put in the research on the venue, timeline, and making sure they know exactly what their customers want.
We NEVER had a moment where there weren't at least 30 people on the dance floor. DJ Dean made our wedding night. Everything ran so smoothly, he knew how to read the crowd, and he didn't make the night all about him (as some DJs do). I will definitely be recommending Pittsburgh DJ Company to all of my friends and family.

Pittsburgh DJ Company was absolutely perfect for our wedding! They were easy to communicate with through phone, email, and their web portal, and highly professional. On the website, we were able to input the names of everyone being announced, our must play and do not play songs, etc. They were also very understanding when our mother-son dance song changed four times the week of the wedding. DJ Dean emceed with the perfect flow for the night and his music selection literally kept the dance floor packed for three hours straight! We had the most fun reception and I cannot thank Pgh DJ Co. enough!

Well.... our best man became ill 2 days before the wedding and was unable to attend. This meant our bridal party was shifted all around and not how I had originally paired everyone. When we arrived to the reception DJ Pat was there immediately to greet us get everyone's names for their introduction... it went without incident! I loved that we were able to plan everything online what songs we wanted, who was paired with who, what order things went in, song requests, etc. DJ Pat kept the party going to the very end.. thank you for making our special day run so smoothly!!!

We cannot say enough POSITIVE things about DJ Dean McAfee! We asked for him to DJ on the wrong day, and he still came to play with hour's notice. Talk about customer service!!!

DJ Dean was so amazing! He kept the night moving and organized. He was great to work with and listened to all of our requests. He kept the dance floor going, I got so many compliments on the different varieties of music played. I would highly recommend this company!!!

DJ Joe did such a great job at our wedding reception! We had a lot of C’s and K’s and he did not screw up our names, nor did he accidentally try to combine two like my parents normally do. I felt bad for the commonality of our names and he did not disappoint. I would hire him again for any future event. For being a newly wed himself, he still took the time to work a shift for us. Thank you so much Joe! Best wishes on your new marriage too!

PLEASE READ! When my husband and I were planning our wedding there were three things we really wanted to make sure were amazing: the food, the photographer, and most importantly the DJ! We felt that the DJ could make or break the wedding. I honestly can honestly say that Dean McAfee, his assistant, and the entire Pittsburgh DJ company made our wedding even more memorable!! I would HIGHLY recommend Dean and his team they were absolutely amazing.
1. Our dance floor was filled the entire night! (The only thing I wish I would have done was stayed longer!)
2. Two months before the big day where we were supposed to get married fell through. We ended up needing a DJ for the ceremony and Dean was able to accommodate the change in plans and provide music for our ceremony.
3. My husband and I wanted our first dance to be fun and memorable. We decided to surprise our guests with an upbeat first dance. Dean was able to put our songs together exactly how we dreamed it would be!
4. Both Dean and his assistant are amazing people they are extremely nice and excited about our big day!
5. I also want to say thank you to his assistant who went above and beyond his job. He also was not just concerned about the music but also my husband and I on our wedding day. It really took me by surprise someone would show so much heart to make sure the bride and groom had everything they wanted on their wedding day.
You will NOT go wrong with Pittsburgh DJ Company! My husband and I can't thank you enough!

Pittsburgh DJ Company was amazing! I had contacted them for a dance 3 days before the actually event due to our previous DJ canceling. They responded quickly and were able to give me all the proper documents that our school required. The price was very reasonable.

Bob from the Pittsburgh DJ Company was fantastic DJ for my wedding reception. He is very friendly and accommodating, which was a plus because after the first initial meeting with him, my husband and I were confident we found a great DJ. From first meeting him to a few days before the wedding he checked in with me to see first how I was doing and second always saying he was here to help me with any questions I had about the music. I have to admit, I did some research for songs to be played at the reception. I sent the list to Bob for him to review and we were able to talk about the songs I chose and he was able to offer a few more to add to my list to make it even better. He wanted to play the music that my husband and I wanted to hear, which was great! At the reception, dance floor was packed the whole night which is what I told Bob that was my goal. The goal was achieved and everyone who attended had a blast! I would definitely recommend him for a wedding DJ!!

I cannot sing enough praises about Dean and his assistant CJ. Dean was who we talked to from the start; my husband and I wanted a DJ who was going to keep our wedding reception a big party and we told him that immediately. We told him we liked to party and have a good time and we wanted our guests to experience that. We used Dean for our cocktail hour to play some light music and he set up in the ballroom for the reception. Though we haven't heard much about cocktail hour we are confident that it's because people are still talking about the reception and the DJ. We didn't give Dean much to work with in the sense of music selections, we told him a few songs we wanted to hear and he took it from there and he went above and beyond. The dance floor was packed all night, even my 87 year old grandmother was out on the floor dancing with everyone. Along with the phenomenal job Dean did, both him and CJ were so professional. There were multiples times throughout the night the CJ approached my husband and I to let us know how we were on time, what dances were coming up, where we needed to be, and just all around so helpful. I would highly recommend Pittsburgh DJ Company and Dean to every bride and groom; they were professional, a great price, super easy to work with, and made our wedding reception everything we wanted it to be and more.

DJ Pat was so great to work with! He listened to our needs and put us at ease from the first time we met. We gave him our song requests in the weeks leading up to the big day, and he played all of them - plus a few surprise hits - and kept the dance floor full all night!
As an MC, he was kept the whole day moving seamlessly. From working with our officiant and musician on their ceremony mics, to introducing our attendants, to announcing special dances and toasts, everything went off without a hitch. Pittsburgh DJ Company's pricing structure was reasonable, and money well-spent in retrospect. We highly recommend working with DJ Pat and Pittsburgh DJ Company!

Pat was a great DJ who E was able to keep kids dancing all night at my daughters Sweet 16 party. One song after the next and they never stopped. The selection of music, quality of sound and lighting were all great.

We picked this DJ after seeing them at another wedding. They were fantastic! They were very responsive and made our wedding fantastic! Dean was very friendly and was able to read our crowd well and played music all night long that everyone loved. Dean also kept us on schedule when we got caught up in having fun. We had a lot of specific songs we wanted played and Dean was able to work them in well. We had last minute changes the day before our wedding for the ceremony and Pittsburgh DJ Company made it happen with no issues whatsoever. Highly recommend, very professional, super friendly, played fantastic music, kept everyone having fun. LOVE Pittsburgh DJ Company!

We worked with DJ Joe Orbovich who was great and easy to work with. We met in person with DJ Joe about 2 months before our wedding to go over the times and details that we knew at that point. After the initial meeting, Pgh DJ Co. has an online worksheet that you can access to update all the details, songs and timing of things for the big day (e.g., songs you want played, introductions, father daughter dances, etc.). This was one of our favorite things because anytime an idea pops into your head, you can just log in and add it to your worksheet. DJ Joe then called us the week before the wedding to go over all of the details and ask us any questions he had.
DJ Joe showed up right on time, set everything up, and then was ready to go for our ceremony and reception. He had 3 separate rigs for our ceremony, cocktail hour area, and reception area, and music transitioned seamlessly between all three areas as guests transitioned from place to place. Finally, he did a great job with the reception. The dance floor was constantly busy with people dancing, and we received many compliments from our guests about how great the DJ was. Our favorite thing with DJ Joe and the PGH DJ Co is that they actually DJ and transition songs in and out rather than just play a stock playlist. On at least one occasion, a song wasn't capturing everyone and Joe was able to quickly fade it out for another one that got everyone back into it. I can’t stress how valuable it is to have a DJ who does this as opposed to just “playing songs”. All in all, a great experience!

Dean was the best! We gave him very little direction with the music, but he read the crowd and kept everyone dancing all night! He was one of our best wedding decisions!
