    Pilar and her team did an outstanding job at our wedding, the food was beautifully presented and delicious. Her staff were always one step ahead of me thinking and helping us the day of the wedding.

    Pilar's Catering provides a professional and personal service. Their food is DELICIOUS and the level of service is outstanding. I've never heard so many compliments on food at a wedding in my life! Thank you Pilar and all of your staff.

    Wonderful food, delicious and flavorful. The staff was amazing and paid attention to all the little things like special hot sauce on the Head table for my husband. Our venue had issues with one of the stoves not working but the staff rolled with the punches and none of my guests realized there was anything wrong.

    Words cannot describe how absolutely incredible Pilar and her team are. They made our day move flawlessly, even when things are "perfect" they adapt to ensure the day runs perfectly! The food quality is outstanding and we still think that she under charged us ;) Seriously, I have dealt with many catering companies for business and I have never had the service and joy as we did working with Pilar. I wish I got married more often (to the same man of course ;) Just as and excuse to do it all over again.. lol
    Pilar does do large and small events and I will be definately be working with her in the future.
    Im getting text messages, email requests, phone call all about the food, people are begging for her contact information, horseradish recipe and honey mustard chicken sauce (to die for!!!)!!
    This is a big decision to make for new brides and I always felt 150% comfortable that I made it when speaking with Pilar and her team.

    From Pasta to Mutton Rolls to Curried Goat - We had it all! Pilar catered our menu so it was exactly what we wanted - and worked with our budget !

    Pilar’s Catering is outstanding! Everything was perfect…. Everything was so much more than we could have asked for at our wedding!
    Right from the early planning stages, Pilar’s creativity and passion for food and her work shines through! We so appreciated the attention to detail, and the time put in to make a menu where every dish went well with everything else, while at the same time helping us to pick table colours!
    There was so much detail and effort put into the selections, everyone was happy, and everyone was stuffed at the end of the meal!
    The food was so amazing! Plating was done with seamlessly, all meals looked like they were from a 5 star restaurant, nowhere close to “banquet hall” wedding food. The flavours and quality were incredible! Our guests raved about the food, with compliments like “The beef was so tender and moist, you could cut it with a fork, and it was incredible!”
    Thank you so much Pilar for overseeing every last detail of our meal and the service to do it! We could not have picked a better caterer, and will recommend you time and time again!

    We used Pilar's Catering for our wedding on Oct. 13, 2012. Pilar did not disappoint. She far exceeded our expectations. Pilar maximized the menu to match our budget and offered plenty of suggestions and options. Not only was Pilar's food outstanding (we still have guests compliment the food), but her suggestions for the decor and set up of the town hall, provided the look and the feel/mood we were searching for. Pilar & her staff were professional, friendly and courteous, going above and beyond to make sure our guest's needs were met. Pilar's expertise and attention to detail, made our wedding day stress free. Since our wedding, we have used Pilar's services for numerous charity events which have all been stellar. Pilar is so easy to work with and never disappoints, always giving more than is asked for.

    Pilar and her team were fantastic on my wedding! They were the caterer used by my venue -Bloomfield Gardens- But I am so glad they work together because they made it so stress free! I didn't have to worry about anything on my big day. I would say the only thing is that Pilar gets very busy and sometimes it takes a while for emails to be answered. But, other than that the food is delicious and her staff are very professional. Would recommend to use Pilar's Catering for any event!

    Pilar's catered our winter wedding they were amazing to work with from everything from the gourmet hot chocolate bar to the meal was delicious. Not only was the food and service great but they did everything and I do mean everything from putting on our centerpieces, set up our gift table put out our gifts for our guest out and more...they truly went above and beyond my expectations!

    Pilar and her staff catered our post wedding party. Our guests absolutely raved about the food stations they created. The food was delicious and the price was outstanding. It was a wonderful surprise that linens, plates and cutlery were included when you get the stations. I would highly recommend their services, especially if you are renting a town of whitby hall.

    Let me just start by saying, Amazing food!!!, might be the best dish I've ever had!, the entrees were nice and hot, with a stunning look and perfect flavors and seasonings and I wish they had a restaurant to go and eat at, Do they?, the wait staff was also a pleasure to deal with and attend to all my wife's needs, lol, thanks for the amazing experience and plz keep doing what you are doing, the food service industry needs you guys around!!!!

    We had envisioned our cocktails and meal to be very different than the 'typical' wedding food. We also had the unique challenge of having an outdoor wedding at a location that did not have a kitchen. The reviews we received from our guests from the wedding were amazing, and still rave about the freshness of the ingredients, the meals being hot when arriving to the table, and so tasty and unique that they wanted more! Pilar's staff at the wedding were very professional, friendly, and prompt with their services! I would definitely recommend Pilar for catering...

    However, she did mention she was going to do a site visit on a few occasions and did not when she said she would. She did eventually, but it was a bit worrisome that she did not follow through on something she said she would. Also, we lived hours away from her business location and our venue but made a scheduled payments one day prior to our visit to the area, just weeks before the wedding. We had contacted her to see if the next day was possible as we were in the area, but would not accept that and would not go forward with the contract unless it was that particular day. We then had to arrange to drive out for that special payment date. Within the few weeks before the wedding, she was also not returning our calls and messages, which scared us whether or not she would come through and provide for our wedding. Added stress that was not needed. Pilar had promised that she would be at our wedding because it was such a special venue (no kitchen), but did not show up. After the wedding we called to tell her how happy we were with the service, her staff and the food, along with all the compliments from our guests, but still months later, have not heard back from her.

    We recommend her food service and quality by far, however, the professionalism, flexibility, and responsiveness could be improved upon especially when dealing with such a stressful yet special event.

    Pilar provided the catering for our wedding at the St. Lawrence Hall in Toronto. They did an amazing job. We received many compliments from our guests that the food was delicious, much better than other weddings they attended. Pilar was very accommodating and the food and service was very good value for money compared to the other caterers in Toronto. We would highly recommend her.

    Pilar's food was amazing! We had a served buffet style dinner and each course was piping hot! Our only complaint was her co-ordinator who she leaves in charge was quite unorganized and forgot lots of the little details that I spent long hours preparing for. Example: we did not have an altar for our ceremony and so I bought and arranged large floral centerpieces to stand atop large tree stumps as the ceremony focal point where the altar should have been. It was her job to make sure this was set up. As I was walking down the aisle I couldn't help but notice they were sitting on the ground completely forgotten about. Another thing was that She brought my cake out way too early and it ended up melting and falling apart since our venue was a tented reception. And lastly, she had set up the champagne table at the wrong end of the ceremony site for our grand toast as husband and wife. Normally this would not have bothered me except that she realized her error and decided to try to move the table during our Ceremony. The table was a mere 30 ft away from us and she neglected to remove the champagne flutes off the table prior to attempting to move it. Needless to say all we heard was glass clanging and breaking as we were about to be officially introduced as husband and wife. All in all, Pilar and her food is the best I've ever had at any wedding I've been to and that's why we chose her. Unfortunately we dealt with a few headaches from one of her staff members but I would still recommend her any day as the rest of her staff were extremely professional and courteous to us and our guests. Our guests still rave about her food!

    The food provided by Pilar and her team was absolutely delicious, and very filling. Pilar was helpful in helping us choose our dishes, ensuring that they complemented the flavour of our wedding cake and sweets table.

    We went overboard by ordering hors d'ouevres for a 30 minute cocktail hour, and adding dessert to a very sweet-filled evening. Too bad we couldn't have eliminated those two options; we had already paid and things were already in play by the time we came to our senses.

    Please book with anyone other than this company. They will do anything for money, and anything to screw you out of yours. They are rude and disrespectful.
