The staff at Piece of Cake was wonderful! They were so welcoming, and provided so many delicious samples when we went for our tasting. They even allowed my brother to join us in the tasting because I was watching him that day! They were knowledgable, but let us make our own creation which turned out to be a huge hit! We combined Devil's Food cake with Almond cream frosting. I'd recommend that also. :) The cake turned out beautifully and people talked about it even after the night was over! Highly recommended!

We were so pleased with our wedding cake. It was so good that many of our guests were trying to get seconds! The cake itself was simple and beautiful. We loved the design and how willing the staff was to give us exactly what we wanted.

The best part is in one year instead of eating a year old cake top, they give us a free replica of our cake top to celebrate with. This happens in year 5, 10 and so on...

Our cake was GORGEOUS! It was sooo good too. Before the wedding we spent some time with the owner and he made it so fun picking it all out. He was creative and honest. It was even more beautiful than I thought it would be. Yum!

Our cake was one of the first things we took care of in our wedding planning. We scheduled a meeting to just taste some of the cake flavors without many expectations. Firstly, the staff is extremely inviting and our personalities meshed really well. We talked a bit about our ideas, which they were completely open to. "We can build you anything you think of. We can build you the Taj Mahal!"

Then we tasted the cake. I can't describe the taste and do it justice, but it felt like a religious experience. It was the best cake we'd ever had in our lives, and we've had a LOT of cake.

So we gave them a bit of direction, and as the wedding got closer I e-mailed them pictures of our invites and colors and told them to just do whatever they wanted in terms of the design. They did not disappoint. I got a little teary when I saw it, and I didn't even get teary at the ceremony. Best wedding vendor ever.

Amy and her staff at Piece of Cake Desserts were so easy to work with. Choosing the cake was easy as she had a huge selection of cakes to view online that we could get ideas from even before meeting with her. Also, when we wanted a cake that was very unique and inspired by our wedding rings, she did a great job at taking that inspiration and turning it into a beautiful reality. Of all our vendors, we were most comfortable giving Piece of Cake free reign over what they wanted to create for us.

POC did an AMAZING job on our cake. It looked very beautiful and was one of my favorite items on my reception. They were very timely with their responses and were always willing to work with us on what we wanted for our big day. They were affordable and had several choices to pick from for our flavors, fillings etc. I definietely recommend POC for your event.

I would have to say, even if the cake was amazing their lack of communication with us could use improvement. We had visited them 5 months prior to our big day, sent them a deposit check a week later to save the date. One month later we had yet to hear from them and check had not been deposited yet. Turns out that if you are using Heidi's Catering then the cake is included in their final cost. But we were not informed of this..

In the end everything turned out wonderful, but not without some nail biting moments..

We have all been to wedding where we see that most guests do not eat the cake. We were determined to not be one of those weddings and to have the best cake...and we found that in Piece of Cake. From the moment we met Amy and tasted her delicious cake we knew she'd be a perfect fit. Being that we come from families that LOVE dessert it was important to have such a great tasting cake. Her flavors are bold and leave you wanting more...not to mention her fondant is great tasting too (a rarity). We were able to get the design we wanted and stay within our budget. Piece of Cake also made a grooms cake for us, a STAR TREK cake, which my husband still talks about :) Not only did our guest eat our cake...they wanted seconds! We love you Piece of Cake!

I loved these people. Our meeting with them was so fun and the cake was delicious!! Our gusts loved the cake and so did we!!! This is the best cake place around!!!!

The cakes were FANTASTIC!!!! The wedding cake was beautiful and tasted wonderful - I HIGHLY recommend the almond cake! The groom's cake was AMAZING!!! It looked like a real ASU Sun Devil footbal helmet!!! My only complaint is that people actually touched it to see if it was real!!!
