  Unfortunately I did not have Joel photograph my wedding for me (I did not know he did photography until after I had already booked a photographer in NH near where I was getting married), but I wish I had. He did, however, make the parents' wedding albums and I can tell you he was a joy to work with. I am very particular and know what I want. I picked out the pictures I wanted from my photographers' photos and he did the layout for the album. Quite a few times I asked him to make changes and he never once complained or hesitated or said it wouldn't work. He changed everything I asked him to change. The books turned out beautifully and everyone loves them. I've seen his work, he has a great eye when it comes to vision and he does a great job with details, etc. I would totally recommend him as a photographer for any event. He's a joy and a pleasure to work with and he will listen to you.

  Joel is the kind of photographer that you want by your side on your wedding day. He is not only flexible and accommodating but truly goes out of his way to make certain that he is doing everything that he possibly can to capture the most perfect photos Joel provides the vehicle for a story to be told through his photos for years to come. When we saw the pictures, we could not have asked for anything more.   Words cannot even describe the service and photographs from photosbyblack Photography took the day of our wedding. He was fantastic and has the artistic eye and creativity to capture moments through the lense of a camera like no other. He captured the emotion and the enthusiasm of not only my husband and I but also the guests and family as they shared our day. I recommend Freed Photography and their staff!   Photosbyblack was absolutely wonderful. My husband and I are not picture people however they made the process so easy. We were able to adjust our package to fit our needs and they matched us with the perfect photographer. We were able to pick the schedule for the photographer and were able to adjust all of our needs. It was amazing and our pictures turned out great.

  Joel was wonderful! He made it extremely easy for us to work with him to determine the package that we wanted. His eye for catching great candid moments as well as the posed images was what drew us to him, and he absolutely delivered. He was everywhere we needed him to be during the wedding and reception without being intrusive. And as a bonus, just a wonderful personality! We can't recommend him highly enough.

  Joel was a great photographer. He was punctual and very quick to respond to all my emails. On the big day, he had such a great attitude and was a lot of fun to have around. we have some great pics!
