I should start by saying I rarely give people a 5 out of 5 rating for anything and never on every single available category, but working with Bilal was a pleasure and, in my opinion, a small blessing on our wedding day. The final product is lovely... what a wonderful way to remember our special day! But just as importantly, Bilal was so incredibly sweet, professional, and accommodating, not to mention the best value we could find for a wedding photographer. He had creative ideas for shots and has a very comfortable manner that makes it easy to capture people in a natural manner.

We were faced with potentially bad weather for our wedding day, so we called up Bilal the preceding day to see if there was any possibility that he could drive 1.5 hours that same afternoon to do photos. Despite the fact that it was his birthday(!), he agreed to come and we had so much fun shooting our family shots. The next day, he showed up with a gift for us: a gorgeous print from our shoot the day before. We are so happy that he was able to shoot our wedding ceremony, too! Now we have such an amazing record of an incredibly important event and only the highest recommendation to offer about Bilal.

Bilal and Ben were fabulous on our wedding day. I met Bilal by sheer luck using Wedding Wire.com. I was searching for a photographer for our wedding day. I plugged in the zipcode for my community and looked through the photographers in the area. I came across Bilal's name and website. Viewing his website I can see he is passionate about his love for photography. He captures wonderful moments to create a work of art. My fiance and I made an appoinment with him. My fiance and I sat down with him and told him what we were looking for in a photographer and for our wedding day. We were on a budget and his work is amazing. He was very accomodating and allowed subsitutions for his packages. We went through his work and other albums he had done. His work speaks for itself. As our wedding day was approaching, we took the time with him to visit the place where the ceremony was to take place. We explained to him want we wanted and he also made some helpful suggestions. However, the ceremony site did not take place due to inclement weather. We contacted him and informed him that we were to have the ceremony at the reception hall. Prior to the wedding he met me and my wedding party with parents to take pictures. He took pictures of us getting ready and we were so relaxed with him. He was professional and made everyone feel very comfortable. During the ceremony Bilal and his assistant Ben captured some wonderful moments of family and friends. The reception was fantastic!!! As our guests were having the time of their lives dancing, socializing and partying the night away both of them created shots that were most memorable. Within 2 weeks he emailed us a sneak preview and within 6 weeks contacted us to select the photos we wanted for our album. My husband and I were so touched by his work. We were speechless at times when we saw his work. At this time we are finalizing our album and will be giving each of our parents a wedding album as a Christmas gift. Bilal gave us his gift of being a person with heart and we were blessed by his presence by enjoying our day while he was creating a day for us to last forever.

We had family pictures taken for our mom's 80th birthday. I live in another state but making arrangements was a breeze. Bilal was so flexible in making arrangements and suggestions for great family pictures. We had 17 people ranging in age from 4 to 80 plus two dogs at Sayen Gardens. We are all so pleased. We definitely would recommend Photography by Bilal. We have beautiful family pictures now. Thanks so much Bilal!!!! Call Bilal, you will not be disappointed!

Photography by Bilal was a great vendor to work with. For starters, we booked him less than 2 months prior to our reception. He was very flexible and did not charge us for such short notice. He was also easily accessible, in terms of communication, and always responded quickly to my questions/emails. On the day of the event, he and his assistant were on-time, flexible and relaxed. They were also very creative with trying different angles and locations for our pictures, which turned out well. We were very pleased with the work and we know that we could not have found a better deal. We have received so many compliments on our photo book and how lovely the pictures came out. I would definitely recommend this vendor to others and plan to seek out his services in the future.

I found Bilal on Craigslist while searching for someone to photograph our recent family reunion. I have to admit that I was a bit wary about hiring someone through this site, considering some of the horror stories I've heard. I was nervous that I would end up with an unprofessional photographer, amatuer photos or worse, a no-show.

However, I was very pleased to find that my concerns were totally unwarranted. He was extremely professional from day 1. Bilal managed to stay "under the radar" while photographing my recent family reunion. Even though the number of attendees was relatively small (under 60), and so having a photographer present could have been somewhat uncomfortable, Bilal managed to capture everyone present multiple times without ever making it awkward. He was not intrusive at all yet, based on the images, he never sat down!

In addition, Bilal's images were absoutely stunning. He captured some of the best moments of the reunion in candids, and also took some posed photos so that attendees could frame them. He did some editing to some of the pictures (made them black and white, enhanced tones) that really enhanced the artfulness of the moments. Others, that spoke for themselves, he tastefully left alone.

I would highly recommend Bilal for any event. We will certainly be using him again at our next one!

We loved Bilal!! He was much more then just a vendor--he honestly cared about us and about making our day as special as it could be! The pictures turned out beautiful and we received a lot of compliments.You will NOT be disappointed at all if you hire him!

I can not express enough how wonderful Bilal was to work with. He has a very easy going personality and was very fun to work with! He was professional yet his attitude was that of a best friend! He came up with some great ideas on where to shoot. The final photos were received were just beautiful, every detail was captured, which is really hard to do if you are a one man team. We had him scheduled until 10pm but when things ran late he agreed to stay(which of course we compensated him for!). He will go above and beyond to make sure nothing is missed! I would without a doubt recommend Bilal for any type of photography work.

Bilal was in the process of building his wedding portfolio at the time we hired him, but I was impressed with the event photography he already had on his site. It made me confident in his photographic abilities right away (some of the other photographers trying to start out in wedding photography don't have any portfolio samples to show).

He was punctual, non-intrusive, and gave us a good mix of candid and posed shots. We were even able to split the time of his four-hour package between the wedding date and the reception date, and the cost could not be beat for the high-quality of the resulting photos. Plus, we got a CD of the high-res photos so we could make prints ourselves; not all photographers allow this.
