Dreams to Reality

Karen and Russ were very attentive and professional. They are wonderful photographers and such fun to be around. We told them what we were envisioning for our engagement, bridal, and wedding photos and they made our dreams become reality. They made the whole process fun and stress free. Karen and Russ stayed in constant contact throughout the entire process. We would highly recommend hiring this sweet and extremely talented couple for any photographic needs.

Love them! Beautiful photos, super quik viewing time!

Love love love Karen and Russ!

From our very first phone call, we knew they were the ones to hire!

They started by asking my daughter and her fiance to come to their home for abt an hour so they could get to know them. We were there for nearly 3 hours!! They wanted to hear their love story, capture ideas about their personality, write down ideas they desired for photos, discuss location, learn about them. They were so easy to communicate with and so excited about every detail.

Our chosen package included Engagement and Bridal portraits. They met my daughter and her fiance in another city at a state park, where the kids first date had been. The pictures were absolutely breathtaking and they captured their personality so perfectly! Since our wedding had a 2hr each way travel time, we traded the bridal portrait option for their extra travel time. However, a few days before wedding, when we realized our schedule and asked them to arrive a couple hours earlier, they gladly came and charged only a small fee for the extra time. It was well worth it.

On wedding day, everything ran so smoothly! I had a well prepared schedule, including photos after the ceremony and everything stayed pretty close to schedule. Russ and Karen took so many photos and captured every possible moment. They were so relaxed, patient, excited, and easy to work with. The photos they captured from preparation, bridal/groom party, individual shots, ceremony, after ceremony, reception, and sunset pics for the lovely couple...all beautiful and breathtaking!!

After the wedding, they let me know a few teaser pics would be posted in a few days. However, within only 2 days, an album of over 70 photos were posted!! And at just slightly over a week, the entire album was on a flash drive ready to pick up!!

We have been so enthralled with these pictures I have hired them to take my son's senior pictures this fall. Karen and Russ will be our go-to photographers from here on out. I feel we have made new friends in them, and not just "the wedding photographers".

You definately want to hire these lovely people for your wedding!

Best Photographers Ever!

Karen and Russ were wonderful to work with. They took our engagement pictures, my bridal pictures, and our wedding pictures, which were absolutely amazing. We loved being around them, and we’re so happy they were part of our wedding day. Pictures are special because they’re all we have to look back on from our wedding day, and they did such a great job capturing the day for us so we can look back at them for years to come. I would recommend them to anyone.

Amazing couple to work with & fantastic photographers.

Karen and Russ are amazing photographers and great people!! They are so easy to work with and make you feel so comfortable with them! They documented our wedding perfectly and I would highly recommend them to anyone! Although your wedding day can be stressful and fast paced, Russ and Karen keep you laughing and remind you how special the day is.

Karen and Russ exceeded our expectations for our big day. I cannot imagine anyone else being there to capture those special moments with us. We didn’t even feel like we were taking pictures. They made each moment so fun and memorable. Karen made sure to take those detailed pictures of the decorations, the welcome signs, and of our guests. She knows how to spot those perfect moments that you would never see had you not hired these amazing photographers! Extremely professional and prompt. We had our full set of pictures back in no time at all and they sent the USB in a sweet little memory box. Thank you Karen and Russ for being you and always so amazing! Our wedding would not have been the same without you!

Karen and Russ captured all of our moments amazingly. We were able to get to know then during our engagement photos and it made everything comfortable. They were also very flexible when I made a mistake with dates. They also did very good with making me look good while being sick at the wedding. Everyone at the wedding enjoyed them and only had good things to say after our wedding.

Russ and Karen are amazing to work with! We used them for engagement, bridal, boudoir, and wedding.
They made every step of the process so fun and relaxing. And they truly become friends and family through everything.
The quality of the work is outstanding. The colors they are able to pull are breathtaking. They also have such an eye for background and lighting which is crucial to beautiful pictures.
Their turnaround of images is amazingly quick as well. I was always amazed at how quick they got all edited pictures back to you. It was so much quicker than any friends of mine using other photographers.
I would recommend them over and over again. I could never have enough kind words for them. Their warmth and kindness only adds to their talent. I hate the wedding process is over because I miss working with them and miss getting to be around them.

Photo Tech Photography was magnificent!!! From the moment I met Karen and Russ it felt like Family and we had known each other for years. My husband and I are neither photogenic but Karen and Russ put us at easy and made something that we were both dreading fun and enjoyable. My husband never smiles and he would not have for our wedding pictures if it wasn't for the relaxed, calming and playful attitudes that they had with us. Karen and Russ are absolutely wonderful and amazing to work with! I would highly recommend them if you are wanting high quality photographs and service. They will make you feel like you are the most important bride in the world and give you a truly unique experience. Karen and Russ did both my engagement and wedding photographs and I could not be more pleased. The only problem is you will have trouble picking out your favorites because they all look amazing! Choosing a photographer for a wedding can be extremely stressful, so that's why we made sure to choose a photographer who could offer us everything we wanted in our wedding and engagement photos. We cannot say enough wonderful things about Karen and Russ Fig with Photo Tech Photography! Karen and Russ were so flexible with our schedule and were always willing to go over and above to ensure everything was exactly how we imagined. It was a joy to get to know them. Karen and Russ gave us the most amazing experience. We had a terrible experience with another photographer who I just found on Facebook. The first time we met Karen and Russ I told them about our experience and how I have bad anxiety when it comes to photographers. They were so understanding and made me feel comfortable that I would not have a bad experience with them and they were right! We knew they were the right fit for us when we sat and talked for hours the first time we ever met them. We share a love for animals. My husband hates getting pictures and he agrees that Photo tech made it painless on our wedding day. They did anything they could to help out and we received the most amazing pictures. I would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone! Everyone at our wedding complimented the photographers and then when they saw how the pictures turned out they were amazed. We love these 2 all the way around they shot my sisters wedding and that's how we got turned onto them! They are amazing at what they do! She also did our engagement, which we also loved! I would recommend them to anyone an everyone, in fact I do whenever I get a chance! They very sweet, professional and affordable! Definitely worth every single penny!! Karen & Russ are a great team that are also husband and wife. After my daughter and I first met with them at their home we felt at ease and knew we had found our photographers. They took us through the whole process from the first meeting through the bridal picture day up to the wedding day. They do not stop working ever. They record everything in pictures. My daughter and her husband have still not been able to choose their final canvas picture because the pictures are all so gorgeous. Every time they pick one, they rethink it and pick another one. These people are wonderful photographers and just great personalities.

Karen and Russ did our wedding and engagement photos. Our wedding was in September, we had to deal with rain on our wedding day. But being the professionals they are Karen and Russ helped us to breeze right through the weather. The finished product, we have beautiful pictures to always remember our wedding. Karen and Russ love their work and it shows in how comfortable and relaxed they make you feel. We had a blast!

Karen and Russ with Photography Tech are amazing photographers and people. They are willing to do anything to get the perfect shot! Their eye for finding the right picture is always on point and I could not have been more pleased with all of the images they offered to me! I would recommend them for any event because they are the best!!!!

This photography couple duo was more than professional . . . they made the experience at our wedding delightful while they were getting the best, intimate shots. If I could have rated them a 10 out of 5 on this scale, I would have. If you have the opportunity to retain them for any event, whether it be for a wedding or otherwise, I guarantee you wont be disappointed. Photo Tech Photography did an amazing job. Our wedding was such an enjoyable experience with them. They have given us some wonderful moments in pictures. Choosing Photo Tech Photography was one of the best choices we made for our wedding! We loved having Russ and Karen along the way for our wedding planning process and on our wedding day! From our first meeting with Russ and Karen, we were comfortable with them and confident that they were the right choice for our photography! They are very detailed oriented and that is shown through their photography! Through their experience in weddings, they were able to give us advice on 'what to do' and 'what not to do' on many areas of our wedding planning! My husband and I were very comfortable with them during our meetings with them and during our photography sessions. It was a pleasure to have them "on board" with us on our wedding day! Photo Tech Photography was an absolute blessing to my husband and me. They are so caring and really take the time to get to know you as a couple. They connect with you on a personal level which reflects in their photos. I love the fact that they both show different qualities in their photographs. One, in which, is more the posed look and the other the capturing the candid views. There is no need to even hire a videographer, Photo Tech Photography absolutely captures every moment from the moment the BIG day begins until the last person leaves. My husband and I relive our wedding every time we look through our photos. To beat it all they are affordable and worth every penny! We love you Photo Tech! Thank you for everything!

They were very flexible and professional. They took the time to invite us in their home to get to know us on a personal level. By the time the wedding was over, they were more like our buddies than just hired help. If we had it to do over again, we would have definitely picked them again! Thank you guys so much! Photo Tech Photography was the only choice for our wedding. After going through dozens of photographers I came across Photo Tech Photography. They provide excellent value and their unique shots were what grabbed my attention, therefore we chose Photo Tech and were extremely satisfied. They were very professional and easy to work with. My husband and I came across Photo Tech on weddingwire.com while researching wedding photography in NE Tennessee and SW Virginia. Once we read all of the reviews on here and saw some of their work, we knew they were the right photographers for our wedding.

We live in Charlotte, NC and Russ and Karen were very flexible in meeting with us when we were in town on the weekends. Karen and Russ really took time to get to know us and make sure we were comfortable around them to eliminate awkward wedding photos. Karen was also quick to respond to my questions while planning the wedding and she and her husband Russ worked seamlessly together the day of to capture so many great moments. Our photos were ready within 2 weeks of our wedding day. They are absolutely amazing!!!! Karen and Russ captured all of the details and we feel like our photos really tell the story of the day. We love their uniqueness and creativity and feel really blessed to have found such great photographers.

I loved photo tech photography! They're very friendly and nice people that work with your schedule. Also there pictures are very professional looking! I couldn't have asked for any better with my wedding pictures. They were fantastic!!! I highly reccomend photo tech photography if you are having a wedding in the near future!

Photo Tech Photography made my dreams come true! From day one I knew I was in good hands when I first spoke with Karen and Russ. Karen and I share the bond of horses and she made me being photographed on a horse in my wedding dress a reality. I could have not asked for more. Russ and Karen are fantastic. They make each bride feel like they are their only customers and they feel like family. I had a very religious ceremony and they were very respectful to me as well as my church family. I couldn't have asked for better photographers.

Russ and Karen make you feel so comfortable taking pictures! They are very flexible and willing to work with you under any circumstance. They are are so laid back and very professional. From the first time you meet them, they make you feel like family. They are so creative and they want to make everything perfect for your special day. I absolutely loved having Photo Tech Photograghy take our wedding pictures. I honestly could not have selected better Photographers than Photo Tech. I am VERY picky when in dealing with art/photos/etc. because I am an Art Teacher and took a few classes in photography in college. I was so impressed with their work, the amount of photos you receive, and the fact that you get all copyrights to your images. Also, the Photographers were so friendly and flexible. They definitely went out of their way to meet with you and even came to the location of your wedding before hand. On the big day, they blended in seamlessly, never interfering. I would 100% recommend them to anyone without any hesitation! Thank you Photo Tech!

Our Photographers was wonderful. Although we were on a budget for our wedding, we did not want to compromise our pictures. We are very happy that we went with Karen and Russ. Our photographers had so much personality and made everthing really easy. They had great picture ideas and did wonderful action photos. They never made us feel rushed and was very professional. I would highly recommend Karen and Russ. They truly made our special day on to rember!

Karen & Russ Fig make a great team. I couldn't have asked for any better photographers than these guys no matter what the cost. You both are wonderful people and truly care about what you do. You actually got Scott to smile which is a job all by its self. You really capture the moments that should be cherished forever so when memories fade we have the pictures to fall back on. Karen and Russ are a wonderful couple. They are so friendly and out going. They made it so easy to be relaxed and at ease during the photos. They did an awesome job with our ceremony. We had candid shots throughout the ceremony as well as the standard wedding photos. They made it so much fun to do all the pictures that it seemed to fly by. I should receive my photo CD tomorrow and can't wait to see all the photos. I lost my daddy 2 years ago (2008) and he wasn't there to walk me down the aisle, which was a very emotional and hard situation to deal with because we renewed our vows the day after my daddy's birthday. Karen and Russ have done a wonderful job of making sure that the memories of my dad are in my wedding photos even though he isn't with us.

The cost is very reasonable for what you receive. I HIGHLY recommend them to any one for any photo session you want to have, not just for weddings.

We absolutely Love Karen and Russ not only as photographers but as the wonderful people they are. I immediately fell in love with Karen spirit and personality and that is what ultimately made the final decision on a photographer.

Photo Tech Photos are the most professional, yet fun-loving people that I've ever had the opportunity to work with. Throughout our entire wedding planning process, they were patient, fun, and presented brand new ideas for our engagement and wedding photography. While searching for a photographer, I was adamant that I find someone who would focus on candidness for our ceremony and reception, because I didn't want anything to feel 'staged.' Fortunately, I found the best people for the job! Each photo was exactly what I had wished for, and I get so many compliments everytime I show off my wedding albums! PhotoTech Photography was more than I could have ever asked for! I met them at a Bridal Show in Johnson City, and from the first meeting, I knew they were the photographers for our wedding. They were always so friendly and easy to talk to. Having someone you feel comfortable with is so important when you are taking pictures! You want to be able to be yourself, so the pictures can be the best they can. Russ and Karen both shot our wedding, so we had 2 cameras for all angles. They also were extremely quick returning our photos and have stayed in contact with us, even though we are living halfway across the country!! I highly recommend them, and have happily found a family photographer I'm going to keep!
