Great photographer!

Paul is the best! He is a phenomenal photographer with great attention to detail. He was able to maneuver the chaos of location change from ceremony to reception with ease, poise, and flexibility. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.

Above and Beyond Imagination

Paul from PGL photography went above and beyond what we expected. I would highly recommend him for your wedding! Many of my guests were coming up to me during our wedding and saying how wonderful and fun he was! Everyone was so impressed. Paul did our engagement photos, my bridals, and our wedding. We couldn't of gone with a better choice. The photobooth option he offers is a must have! All of our guests had so much fun with it! He is super quick to get back with photos as well. We even received a sneak peak just days after the wedding. I could go on and on but his photos speak for themselves, I am in love with every single one.

Get yourself a Paul!

Get yourself a Paul! Right from the beginning we found him to be very down to earth and willing to go above and beyond for our wedding and engagement photos. He's very response, organized and truly a pleasure to work with. As hectic as a wedding day can be, he put ourselves, our family and our friends at ease. The photos we received greatly exceeded our expectations (which were already very high). One moment in which confirmed we made the right choice in choosing him was when a thick fog rolled over our wedding. He used this to his advantage and captured some stunning photos which blew our minds. The days following the wedding, our guests were referring to him on a first name basis. He truly helped make our wedding extra special. His creativity with everything he does continuously leaves me speechless. In addition to photography, Paul also does custom woodworking designs ( album covers, cake toppers, chair signs, etc). He created some truly beautiful designs for us which we will cherish for years to come. In summary, Paul is pretty much a mythical creature brought into existence to make us all very happy. If your worries for good pictures can be represented as a bull, Paul is the matador - snapping photos with agility and grace in the arena of professional photography. NONE EQUAL HIM! We love you Paul!

Amazing! Paul is the only photographer I will ever hire!

Paul is the best! I have heard horror stories about people who end up with crummy pictures. He did our engagement, my bridal, our rehearsal dinner, and the day of. My pictures are priceless! He is fair cost wise and does amazing work! Plus, he’s really fun to work with.

There are no words that can truly express how wonderful of a job Paul did on our big day! From day one he made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and made the entire experience so pleasant. He has a true gift of capturing both posed photos as well as candid. He went above and beyond for us with the photo booth and all his wood working (super cool side business! https://www.etsy.com/shop/PaulsWoodStock). He got our preview roll back CRAZY fast to us and I was mind blown! I will use him every possible chance I can get. I don't even know where to begin. Choosing Paul/ PGL Photography to capture my bridals and wedding day was one of THE BEST decisions my husband and I made for our wedding. As a bride, I often got the advice to invest in a {G R E A T} photographer. I knew nothing about photography, but I did know that I wanted someone who was talented, reasonably priced, and someone who was going to make me feel very comfortable while capturing these precious moments. WIth Paul, we got all of this AND SO MUCH more.
Paul is a very down to earth person, who is honest, respectful, and so much fun to be around. When it came to the wedding day, not only did he make my husband and I feel comfortable, but my guests couldn't stop raving about how awesome our photographer was! The groomsmen treated him like "one of the guys", my bridesmaids complimented him all night, and my family loved the way he interacted with them throughout the evening. He was always there, yet never in the way. On top of that, his photo booth is W O N D E R F U L! Guests were entertained all night with his props, backdrop, photo book, and awesome atendant. (and the pricing is some of the most reasonable out there!)
When we received the photos, I was amazed. He listened to every word I said. He captured all the little details, every special moment, and even some moments that I never knew happened! The quality of his photos are beautiful, and his sunset photos will bring you to happy tears. We are in love with the outcome. If you are looking for a photographer in Austin or surrounding areas, I highly recommend PGL.

We received raving reviews of the pictures we posted online that Paul took from our wedding! "It looks like it was so much fun", "beautiful photographs", "it looks like a blast" are only a few of the accolades we received.

I am beyond impressed by the service we received from Paul at PGL Photography! After talking with him on the phone, we decided to book him for our April wedding. We had a rather short engagement so we were not able to have him shoot our engagement photos (which is normally a nice trial run for the wedding)!

Paul and his second photographer were there for the entire wedding, from the arrival until the sparkler exit. The pictures not only captures the most important parts of the day, but they really communicate the feeling of the moment! We had a super fun wedding and you can absolutely tell from the pictures. Paul was right there ready to capture the picture of a stripped down groomsman jumping off a rope swing behind us kissing at sunset. Priceless!

There really are no words to describe how awesome Paul is. He is very down to earth, and is always looking to improve upon his already stunning photography. He did our engagements and wedding, and all of the shots were amazing. His direction is straight forward and easy to follow making the photos well composed. He experimented with night lighting at our wedding and captured some really cool pictures. Both my parents and my in-laws (both hard to please) commented on how professional and courteous Paul is (I couldn't agree more.) He is very respectful and considers what photos family members might want as well. On our wedding day, it seemed like he was everywhere to capture the important moments, but was never in the way. The team he brings with him is great too. The photo booth was a blast and all our guests really enjoyed it, and they got to write messages in the provided photo album. Paul's work is timely, and we had our preview shots within 48 hours of our wedding, and our engagement photos were processed in about 1 week. I would recommend him to anyone. If you are going to spend your money on a photographer, you want to get a good one. Paul is your guy.

Paul is absolutely amazing!! He is easy-going (but can direct a group photo very effectively), organized, extremely responsive, and most importantly - an incredibly skilled photographer. He's very humble but his work speaks for itself. Our wedding was several weeks ago and I've lost track of the number of people who have mentioned how wonderful he was, how much they love the pictures, etc etc. He did such a great job of molding his shooting plan around the venues, different personalities, and the weather. Also, Pix in a Box was such a hit at the reception and we have loved looking back through all of the photos! I cannot say enough good things about this guy - would highly highly recommend!!

Booking a quality photographer was one of my biggest priorities when planning my wedding. After all, I knew that after the big day, photographs were going to be some of the few lasting memories from that day. I worked with so many amazing vendors, but I can honestly say without a doubt that Paul Lizama and PGL Photography was one of my favorites!! From the very beginning, Paul's love for his art and his pride in his work was apparent. He truly went above and beyond to deliver more than what was expected. Every photo session we had with him, from the engagement shoots to the Bridal portraits to the photos from our actual wedding and reception, all yielded beautifully composed photos and he was able to capture some of my favorite shots of my husband and I as a couple. We got to know him well throughout the entire process, and he was always accommodating and eager to work with us. We were pleasantly surprised when he delivered our photo album to us in a personalized one-of-a-kind quality keepsake wooden box that we proudly display and hope to pass on as a family heirloom. We constantly get tons of compliments on not only the box itself, but of course on the album and the moments he was able to capture. We can't thank Paul enough for being such a pleasure to work with!

I don't think I can explain exactly how perfect my experience with Paul and pglphotography has been! Not only is Paul a pleasure to work with because of his enthusiasm, creativity and professionalism, but his work is absolutely breath taking! He made me, my husband and family feel so comfortable throughout the entire day (as well as during my bridal portrait session) it felt like Paul was an old family friend. We could not be happier with the moments he was able to capture. Every photo looks like it should be in a magazine! We also used pglphotography for our photo booth (pix-in-a-box) and that went off without a hitch! Our guests loved the photos/props and he got them to us only one week after the wedding! His entire service was hands down incredible quality and quantity for the very reasonable price he charged. On top of everything, Paul got married just THREE WEEKS before my wedding, during which he maintained excellent communication before and after. I would highly recommend Paul to anyone getting married! We are still on cloud nine from our wedding and his gorgeous photos let us continue to remember that day just as it was, perfect!

We are so very happy that we chose Paul to shoot our wedding. From the moment we met him, we knew he was the one we wanted to capture all of the memories of our special day. Not only is his work the best that we came across, but he makes you feel so comfortable! Talking to him was so easy, it felt like we had known him for years. Same thing on the big day. He was on time, he listened well and made us feel comfortable the whole time. He went above and beyond to make me and my groom happy and I cannot wait to see the photos! Oh boy, how much do we love Paul??! He was so fun and easy to work with and takes such gorgeous and creative photos! Even the staff at my venue and my wedding guests all loved him. A few of our favorite things: 1) His photobooth! So much fun, so creative, and so easy to use! And his handmade props are so unique! 2) His ninja skills! He captured all the best moments of the ceremony without being obtrusive and feeling like the paparazzi. 3) His respect for the wedding guests - several of my family members mentioned how sweet Paul was to them. My aunt especially loved that he even apologized and moved aside so she could get the shot she wanted. A gentleman and a true professional! 4) Everything else! We had a sneak preview within a few short days and loved every picture! So excited to see what else he has up his sleeve! Simply the best!!

I cannot express just how happy we were, and how wonderful of a job Paul did for our us and our wedding!!! The Pix in a Box Photo Booth was an absolute HIT! People loved it, and are still complementing us on how much fun it was, over a month after the wedding. :)

Paul was patient, friendly, professional and pleasant with our families and guests at the ceremony, and was especially kind to my elderly grandmother, who had some trouble getting around. People felt very comfortable around both him and his 2nd Shooter, and they were never underfoot or obtrusive. At every step in the process, Paul was communicative and professional, and we really enjoyed our time with him.

I just received some of the photos back today that Paul took at our wedding. I was AMAZED. He caught angles and made shots that I could have never imagined. His work is terrific and he is uber professional. I highly recommend Paul and feel confident that you will not be disappointed.

We are thrilled to have found Paul for our wedding! He met with us several times over a year for a series of engagement photos, bridals, and provided full day-of coverage all on a very tight budget. Paul is an outstanding photographer and amazing person! He was incredibly flexible working with our odd schedules, shoots with our dog, and even did my bridal shoot a mere 7 days before the wedding! Even with short notice he delivered with printed 8x10's for our sign in table as promised.
He made the awkward shooting experience relaxing and FUN, we will be staying in touch for a long time to come. We are definitely clients for life!

There are no words to say how amazing Paul really is. I found him almost on accident and I cannot tell you what an amazing blessing that was! From my first meeting with him he was extremely professional and very helpful! Trust me when I saw I was a very stressed out Bride and I could not have done it without Paul. He did my engagement shoot, and my entire wedding. He was always on time, was professionally dressed, and was all over the wedding without being even slightly intrusive. My family adored him, from my 6 year old daughter to my grandmother – he was definitely a hit! I knew his work was amazing but I have to tell you, when I returned from my honeymoon to find that he had already prepared a ton of my photos, I was blown away. Every time I thought, “I wish he would have gotten a shot with us over there”, I would look, and there it was, more beautiful than I could have imagined. I have no regrets, every photo I wanted of my amazing day Paul got. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone.

Paul was very easy to work with & extremely professional. We live 6 hours from Austin and he worked with our schedule very well. We just received our pics and there were 3 times the amount of edited images than we thought. Paul will only get better with time!! We would definitely recommend him to any couple.~Melissa

Paul, did such an amazing job for our engagement photos! He had some really great ideas and welcomed our creativity too! We loved the outcome of our photoshoot and have used our favorite photo for our save the date, which we have gotten tons of compliments on! He is a really nice and genuine guy and I would definitely recommend him to any bride looking for a good deal and great quality!

Pglphotography absolutely took amazing pictures for our engagement session, bridal session and our wedding. He worked with us a lot on certain things. He also helped out a lot during the wedding, whatever was needed he did his best to help. He made us feel very comfortable. His photo booth was also very fun and very creative. Overall, I'm very glad we found Paul Lizama because he was honestly the best choice. All of our friends and family couldn't agree more.
