This review is long overdue. Jessica is a phenomenal photographer! We talked several times before the wedding to confirm all the details - down to any specific photos we wanted. Our pictures are absolutely stunning! She even sent a preview slideshow set to music following our wedding. The pictures came in well sooner than expected. My husband and I have even discussed another photo session with her when we return to Hawaii. We would absolutely recommend her and her professional team. Please check her out - you will not be disappointed! -

My husband and I could not have more thrilled with Jessica Pearl! We just got to view our sneak peeks for our wedding pics and I simply cannot stop looking at them!! She was truly wonderful to work with on the day of the wedding and made us all feel very comfortable. She is very easy going and has a true gift for getting the right shot. Getting good pictures to capture our wedding was the most important thing for us. Its so difficult to pick someone off their website from a distance, but I tried my best to do as much research as I could. I followed Jessica's FB page and was impressed by what I saw. I would recommended doing this too if you are interested in her. I'm so glad we choose her for our wedding!! We can hardly wait to see the rest of our pictures! -

Jessica was wonderful to work with for our destination wedding in Maui! It was a bit scary planning a wedding from so far away, but Jessica walked us through everything all of the details! We went into our wedding day feeling very calm and secure knowing she was our photographer. We just received a sneak peek of our pictures and they turned out amazing! I would absolutely recommend her photography services for any type of special event--she came highly recommended to us from our venue and now we know why! -

Clarissa was our photographer, and she captured our goofy family quite well. I tend to dislike looking at my own image, but was brought to tears by a few of the shots that particularly caught our joy on this special day. When it's not your first wedding experience, I think you sometimes downplay the need to capture it on film. I'm so glad I spent the money and time to capture these images. -

Jessica pearl was very professional and responsive right from the start . We live in New Jersey and Jessica called me on the phone just to inquire the details and also responded very quick on the numerous emails I sent . Jessica and Clarissa were so sweet an a great help when it came to taking photos . They let us know what worked and what did not . They let us see their work while shooting and let us have a few breaks in between to grab water and stuff . I would definitely work with them again in the future and would recommend everyone to use them -

Our photography package was arranged by our wedding coordinator at the Royal Lahaina Resort. We chose the standard 2-hours of wedding photography that came with our wedding package. Our photographer, Jessica, arrived about a half-hour before the start of the ceremony. I was already fully dressed by that time, so she did a few in-room shots of me and my flower girl and then a few more outside with my parents on the hotel grounds. Jessica kindly made sure to ask me ahead of time if there were any “must have” shots in addition to all the group pictures we would take with the wedding party and guests post-ceremony and then very patiently shepherded my family around the ceremony lawn to pose for group pictures. My husband and I were then whisked off to the beach for pictures with just the two of us and our daughter (aforementioned flower girl).
After we wrapped up the beach shoot, Jessica kindly agreed to stay for one more hour so she could get our first dance and the cake-cutting in the reception area.
Jessica’s team reached out to me via email less than a week after the wedding to let us know that our “sneak peek” pictures had been posted to Facebook. They are beautiful and very natural-looking—although my face looks a little too wide, but I think that’s more a personal problem than a photographic one…!
Thank you to Jessica for capturing the most special day of our lives so far - we can’t wait to see the rest of the pictures! -

Jessica was creative, energetic and fun to work with. She instantly made us feel comfortable, and gave amazing direction throughout the night. Jessica was great to work with! She was punctual and listened to what I wanted. She captured our wedding perfectly and I am extremely happy with the photos. We only had her booked for 3 hours and she was able to capture so many moments in that amount of time. I wish I booked her for another hour. She is also very easy to contact and responds quickly. Book this vendor now. Jessica and her staff were incredibly accommodating. They photographed 2 events we hosted and we are so happy with the results. I had a smile on my face the whole week we were in Maui, and looking at the photos now brings that same smile back. -

Jessica Pearl and her assistant were awesome! The photos they captured of our vow renewal were all very beautiful and they were even able to get my grumpy 3 & 5 yr old kids to participate and even smile.
We got our proofs back in a reasonable time which may take longer than other photogs but only because of the amount of detail and energy she put into editing and ensuring everything was perfect. She and her assistant were great about contacting us with updates and answering questions quickly.
I am very happy we were able to work with Pearl Wedding Photography to capture this beautiful day and to remember it forever. -

Jessica Pearl and her team were so awesome! When I first spoke with Jessica, she actually took the time to get our background story and came up with a temporary timeline of what she could do on the day of our wedding.
She was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had...and a overall down to earth/easy person to talk to. Not to forget the overall work done...All of our pictures are vibrant and absolutely stunning!

Jessica was just amazing - she made myself and my bride feel totally at ease and relaxed, and definitely got the best shots possible from us. This is no easy task since neither of us like having our photo taken. We chose Jessica because of her style, and how she captures the bride and grooms genuine looks and glances; and we ended up with a such a beautiful set of photos of the ceremony, and afterwards on the beach it left me speechless. The way she captured and used the setting sunlight in the photos is breathtaking, and has been remarked upon by my friends so many times.
I cannot recomemend Jessica enough - just book her if you want to be completely satisfied with your wedding photographs, and be happy to look at them time and time again. -

Jessica and her team is amazing! She gets to know you and listens to what you want and delivers above and beyond! Their work is awesome, truly captures the emotions of the day. Jessica and Clarissa did our Save the Date photos shoot as well as our wedding. The way they capture the light is beautiful and catching all the little details that made the day so special. The candid photos are their strength, natural, casual, airy, bright, soft and romantic, catching the feel of the moment. Their photos tell a story, full of life and happiness. Many guests have commented on how beautiful the photos are. Jessica is very responsive via email and phone. After our first phone call almost 1 year before our wedding, she wrote out a tentative timeline of the wedding day, which is very reflective of our actual timeline. This is extremely helpful for the bride to have a time frame for the big day. On our wedding day, she even brought an additional team member to make sure they catch all the details! The photos are loaded on a beautiful wood USB. Can't wait to pick out our photos for the beautiful photo album that she has. Jessica is personable and kind, and so much fun to work with, reserve them early! -

When we got the link to our photos, I kept reminding myself and my husband they were not the pictures we selected as our favorites, but that they were all the pictures! As in every picture looked so good it looked like it would be a "favorite". Stop your search. You have just found your wedding photographer. Jessica Pearl is the most organized and professional photographer I have ever worked with. She went above and beyond to help us determine our wedding day schedule based on her extensive experience, and her helpful insight made the entire day run so smoothly. There was never any question that we wanted Jessica Pearl to shoot our wedding; she happened to be around for my proposal and took dozens of photos, unprompted, just because she loves what she does and wanted us to see what she saw. Certain things you expect from people you hire -- professionalism, initiative, courtesy, expert knowledge of their industry, mastery of their trade -- and Jessica brings all of these to her work. But what I had not anticipated are the personal qualities that make her an extraordinary photographer. Her comforting demeanor belies the keen intensity with which she directs your shoot, and her caring attentiveness somehow made me, an otherwise camera-shy groom, want to be a subject worthy of her lens. To put it another way, I typically NEVER like having my picture taken, but Jessica Pearl made it easy and enjoyable. And that is the greatest, most unexpected gift that I could have given my photogenic bride. -

Jessica and her assistant were great on the day of the wedding. We even did a trash the dress with them and had a great time. The pictures were amazing! We would recommend Pearl Photography to any bride who wants an easy going experience that leads to fabulous pictures!!! -

Jessica and her team were fantastic to work with before, during and after our wedding. She met with us several times before our wedding to discuss our wants and needs. On the day of the event, she was professional yet easy going. She respected our wishes to spend as much time with our guests as possible while also getting stunning pictures that captured our personalities. After the wedding, she was incredibly responsive to our requests and helped us put together a gorgeous wedding album. I wanted almost every picture in the book because they were all so beautiful. Jessica took the time to work with my client and make sure they were not only pleased with the direction, but thrilled with the packaging that came afterward. Jessica made several list moment projects come to life, she worked tirelessly, and at times even aggressively to help us capture the lighting, sunsets, and moments that will make the event we conducted a magic moment forever. Pearl Wedding Photography gets nothing less than 5 out of 5 stars from me!
I live out of state and so had to rely on internet images and reviews when picking my photographer. I made several inquiries at various photography vendors and Jessica was extremly quick in her response, as well as, engaging. Her suggestion to talk on the phone/Skype made me feel like I was actually making progress in my wedding planning instead of spinning my wheels...all this before I had actually said "yes" to her becoming my photographer.
As is the case with life, unforseen events occur...and that was the case with Tropical Storm Flossie that blew in and rained my wedding day out! Thankfully, Jessica was able to accommodate my new wedding day and herd my family (cats, I tell you!) into some amazing photos. She and her assistant did a great job of capturing some very special moments.
I'm so happy with my final images and can only say that choosing her as your photographer, regardless of occasion, is a very good idea. -

Jessica was amazing to work with. My husband and I live on the mainland and were both born and raised in Hawai'i. Jessica took the time to get to know us by scheduling a couple of calls and exchanging emails. Our wedding was small and intimate with the focus on our family. Jessica did an amazing job capturing our love for each other and the deep love we have for our family. Jessica was also willing to work within our budget and still captured our special moments at sunset with perfection.

I chose her because she had great reviews and was one of the many referrals I received. I'm so glad I picked her. She made me feel very comfortable from the start. My son and daughter-in-law's wedding was fairly large with many individual family groups and friends who came from afar. Jessica and her assistant seemed to have eyes everywhere! I couldn't be happier with the photos and service I received from Jessica Pearl. The photos are amazing and people often comment that these are the most amazing wedding photos they've ever seen. Some of that is the beautiful sunset beach setting, but much of the credit goes to Jessica for capturing the event and mood perfectly. I am a photographer myself and I have to say, every aspect, from exposure, composition, subject matter, and creative interpretation were top notch.
My family can be very random at times, but she did a great job corralling everyone on the day of the ceremony. From the moment we arrived she started taking photos and organizing the group to get the best shots. She seamlessly integrated into the wedding staff (Planner and Minister) to create a team that seemed like they worked together for years.
