We could not be more happy with how our wedding turned out at PSB Estate! We had an 80 person wedding on Oct. 6th. From the field where we held our ceremony, to the courtyard where we held cocktail hour, and the tent for the reception, the grounds were stunning throughout and made for a picture perfect day. Our day went so smoothly and we know that this would not have been the case without Rachel Bova, our Event Planner. We can’t thank Rachel enough for all the time, effort and thoughtfulness she put in leading up to our event and on the day of our event. We knew we were in such good hands with Rachel from our interactions with her and were able to enjoy every second without having to worry about a thing. Rachel made everything run so smoothly and we’re so fortunate for her help! We could not recommend this venue and team more. Our guests still haven’t stopped telling us how perfect the day was and how stunning this venue was!

I cannot say enough good things about Jamie Hollander but I will try my best to summarize!! Our wedding was an absolute dream due to the hard efforts of the Jamie Hollander team! I worked most closely with Rachel Bova and she was absolutely wonderful!! She is so great to work with, she’s calm, easy to communicate with, understanding, flexible, a really hard worker and genuinely cares - she went absolutely above and beyond throughout the whole process, and especially on our actual day. It went so smoothly due to all of the behind the scenes work that she had done and my husband, me and our families could not be more grateful for her! We could really feel that Rachel cared about us as a couple/making sure our day was perfect and that just meant so much to us. She is everything you could ever want in a wedding coordinator & more.

As far as the team goes as a whole, they do a really good work! The food is so good and they did an amazing job of getting it to everyone at the cocktail hour (which is a hard feat with our crew). The bartenders did a great job of managing the busy crowd. There was never a long line and did great with making our signature drinks perfect. The staff helped with all our decor/DIYs/and florals to make our vision come true and also recycled the decor used during the ceremony perfectly for our reception.

Pearl S Buck was such a stunning venue - it really shines so much on its own. There are so many beautiful spots there for photos. The tent honestly is so beautiful inside and just the perfect place for a reception. The drapery and lights are already in place & look gorgeous/dreamy, the flooring is super high quality and they have really nice clean bathrooms attached to the tent. We got so many compliments on our venue from our guests!!

1000% recommend going with Jamie Hollander/ Pearl buck for your wedding - they are just above and beyond with everything they do and gave us the absolute best day ever.

We feel so lucky to have had our wedding at the Pearl S. Buck Estate. Not only are the grounds literally perfect but Rachael, the venue coordinator, made an inherently stressful process SO much less so. She’s incredibly organized and communicative and truly ended up being our guiding light. I cannot recommend her and this venue enough. Oh and the FOOD! The venue exclusively partners with Jamie Hollander Catering — Our guests have said it’s the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding, hands down. So if food is important to you, Jamie Hollander/Pearl Buck is the move!

I wish I could accurately put my husband and I’s love for this venue and staff into words, however, this place and these people are so exceptional that words just won’t cut it!

Pearl S. Buck was the 3rd venue that we toured. The instant we stepped out of the car we could feel the magic. The grounds are stunning and beautifully maintained by volunteers. The stone house is something to be admired. The tent, with it’s beautiful fabric drapery, was the perfect place for an outside/inside wedding. It was comfortable and laid back but also elegant and sophisticated. When we left the tour, we knew Pearl S. Buck Estate was where we would be married.

Every single person who attended our wedding was in awe of the venue. We had numerous people asking us where we found it. I think people remarked on the beauty of the venue more than me or my wedding dress! Haha! Many remarked that they had never been to a venue like Pearl S Buck before and loved it!

This review would not be complete if I did not mention the coordinating staff at Pearl S. Buck. Kate, Rachel, and Natalie were exceptional in every way possible. When one of the groomsmen popped a button on the suit, Kate was right there sewing it back on. When the photographers pulled us away for pictures during cocktail hour, Rachel and Natalie brought the appetizers and drinks to us without our asking and made sure we had whatever we wanted or needed the rest of the night. There was not a single moment when I felt like I was dealing with all of the coordination on my own. Kate was in contact with me for days prior and eased my mind when I was feeling stressed. She handled every aspect of the day and executed our wishes flawlessly. Without this team, I would have lost my mind!

You absolutely cannot go wrong by booking this venue. I’d do it again a thousand times!

I simply do not have words for the amazing wedding that my now husband, Josh, and I had at Pearl S. Buck on 4/24/21! I chose this venue in the midst of the pandemic lockdown simply based on pictures (a photographers dream!), and the promptness of response from Rachael, the coordinator. I chose the venue in April 2020, and finally got to see it in February 2021. It did not disappoint!! Rachael was there for us throughout every step of the way, and offered a lot of good suggestions for our day. Rachael will never steer you wrong! She also took care of coordinating my other vendors and the timeline for the day of. It was a huge stress relief for her to do that, she is simply amazing! The day of the wedding was just perfect. The venue itself is beautiful, especially how they keep it well manicured. Rachael and her staff at Jamie Hollander Catering took care of everything behind the scenes to make it go smoothly. The staff set everything up, and it looked gorgeous - even better than I imagined. They were never in the way either while making changes, or moving things from one place to the next. They were so prompt in getting all the food out on time, and making sure everyone was well taken care of. Josh and I were even designated a specific server for the night to let them know if we ever needed anything! Leslie, you rock! Everyone raved about the food all night, and still, almost 5 months later, people are still saying how good the food was. Especially the hors d’oeuvres!! They gave Josh and I a special mixture of all the appetizers in the bridal suite to enjoy before going into the reception – the best!! The staff was there to help and serve, but I really felt like they were never in the way and never distracting us from enjoying the night. The night went so smooth, and nothing was ever rushed or out of place. If I could choose Pearl all over again, I would. Amazing grounds, the best coordinator, nice spaces to get ready, the best caterer and staff, and an overall perfect night! I don’t have anything bad to say about Pearl! I definitely recommend this venue (along with our parents) to anyone looking! You will not be disappointed!!

We are so happy we chose PSB as our wedding venue. A fall, outdoor ceremony was a must for us, so when we saw the grounds we fell in love. The grounds are meticulously maintained and beautiful year-round. The flowers in the gardens and pots are swapped out regularly based on the time of year, and are always bright and blooming. It is truly such a beautiful place filled with so much history. Our guests were floored by its unique beauty and we couldn't imagine having our wedding anywhere else. Thank you PSB!

I cannot fully express just how incredible the Pearl S. Buck House was for our wedding. After losing our original venue (due to management issues) only THREE MONTHS before the wedding, I was scrambling to find a decent alternative. It turns out, we were lucky that the initial venue fell through, because Pearl S. Buck was even better than we could have imagined. Rachael was truly a Godsend. She is kind, delightful to work with, and a complete pro. Understanding our difficult circumstances, she promised to make our experience with Pearl S. Buck a much better one, and she delivered ten-fold.

Where do I begin?
The venue has a dozen great spots for beautiful and unique photos. The bridal and groomsmen suites were comfortable and large enough for the entire bridal party to hang out in together. Our cocktail hour was in a great space alongside to the house/museum, which was open to guests at the direction of a tour guide. Our reception tent was absolutely perfect - huge, with beautiful white draping and built-in lighting. There was a lovely fire pit area outside the tent as well. And very importantly, the food was AMAZING (my guests are still talking about the mini-cheese steaks). Everyone there could not have been kinder or more accommodating. Rachael was a superstar and saved the day!

We - and our guests - were blown away. THANK YOU for making our wedding day so spectacular!

Pearl S. Buck was hands down one of the most accommodating venues I have ever worked with. I'm an event florist and recently got married at PSB. I work with A LOT of wedding coordinators and venues and Rachael at PSB was without a doubt the best coordinator I have ever worked with.

She is organized, sincere, and has great communication skills- which I find very rare with some vendors. She answered my 2am emails the next morning, knew every detail of the venue and it's guidelines and even reached out to other vendors for us to make our job even easier.

She was so much fun to work with and brought great ideas to the table. She was always open to suggestions and never tried to take advantage of us. PSB is lucky to have her. If I were a bride planning a wedding at PSB I would advise you to do anything Rachael tells you to do. She only has the bride's best interests at heart and you are her number one priority.

Side note... PSB is a hidden gem of Bucks County. For the price, it is a STEAL. Jamie Hollander is the caterer and blew us away. Not to mention the backdrop for photos. You have the whole venue at your disposal. It was my dream wedding and I would not have changed a single thing.

My husband and I got married at Pearl S Buck Estate and thought that the venue was absolutely fantastic. The grounds were absolutely beautiful, the patio they use for cocktail hour was adorable and the bridal suite was perfect for getting ready. We also thought that the catering company, Jamie Hollander Catering did an excellent job and went way above and beyond our expectations for service and coordination of the event. Overall, it was an amazing place to get married!

My husband and I were so happy we chose Pearl S Buck. It is was the perfect venue for our wedding. If your looking for a private, estately/rustic wedding venue then look no further! My husband and I got married at Pearl S Buck on June 8th 2018. We had a perfect day. We had our ceremony on the property outside on the lawn, the cocktail hour on the stone patio and lawn around Pearl S Buck's house and the reception in the tent. Our guests raved about how beautiful the property and grounds were. You don't feel like your even close to being in the metropolitan area when your there. Its so beautiful! Also you are the only event or wedding happening that day, so the entire property is yours to use! Jamie Hollander, the catering company for Pearl S Buck, was amazing to work with. Their staff is very attentive, response, helpful and fun! In addition, their food is delicious and beautifully displayed! Kate (Catering Manager) & Rachael (Catering Coordinator) and our two main contacts for Jamie Hollander were great! They were so helpful and responsive throughout the planning process, in addition were very attentive to my husband and my needs on our wedding day! They went above and beyond their responsibilities as catering manager & coordinator. Prior to our wedding day, the provided their expertise of the timeline, vendor management, liquor order, etc. It was so nice and helpful to me who wasn't familiar with the area. They helped coordinate my other vendors for the wedding, in addition helped with set-up and movement of our wedding decor during the wedding day and also assistance with packing up the decor & supplies after the event. My husband and I didn't worry a bit the day of our wedding, as we knew Kate & Rachael were confident, professional and we both knew they had things under control. I couldn't have asked for a better day, venue & catering company to work with!!

An absolutely stunning site for an outdoor wedding. Friendly, accommodating staff. Gorgeously landscaped grounds made for amazing photos and plenty of space for guests to wander and enjoy. Plenty of comfortable space for the bridal party to get ready in. Clean restrooms. Thank you for an amazing day!

We had our reception at Pearl S. Buck and it was truly the most perfect venue ever!! We searched for a long time trying to find a venue that was what we wanted - outdoors, very nature-oriented, old stone buildings, but not too pricey! PSB fit this to a tee. I cannot say enough about how beautiful the venue was for our orientation - the grounds are manicured with amazing flowers everywhere. The buildings have amazing architecture and so many secret nooks outside that make for awesome photo spots. The staff at Jamie Hollander Catering that plan the weddings at PSB were so great to work with. Alex Neu was our point person and she was so patient and helpful for all of the nitty-gritty details! We planned the wedding from afar as we live in Florida currently and yet Alex helped me to never feel nervous or unsure about our reception plans. She had it all under control! The reception went seamlessly thanks to her oversight. Overall, Pearl S Buck was amazing and I would recommend it to everyone as a venue choice!!

We interacted mostly with the caterer which was a wonderful experience, but this venue is absolutely stunning. We had gorgeous weather and the outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour was perfect! There are so many interesting photo ops on the grounds, so needless to say we are very excited to see our pictures. Even for an 80 degree day in June there was plenty of shaded areas for guest during cocktail hour and the fan package in the tent worked great in keeping guest comfortable. I would highly recommend this venue for your wedding day!

We had our wedding here on June 4th, and what an absolutely amazing venue! It's so beautiful and well maintained, I can't begin to tell you how many compliments we had from our guests. The grounds are breath taking, and absolutely perfect for wedding pictures. We fell in love with the flagstone patio for cocktail hour and we were even able to bring lawn games for people to play. The staff at Pearl S. Buck we very accommodating, and we're so thankful we were able to use this as a venue. We also did a tour of the house and I highly recommend doing that as well, as we learned a lot about Pearl S. Buck and her foundation that has helped kids across the world.

The Pearl S. Buck estate was perfect for our wedding. When we drove up to tour the venue for the first time, my then fiancé and I were immediately impressed with how beautiful the grounds were. PSB works exclusively with Jamie Hollander and the event staff at JH helps execute the contract. We went for our tasting at JH and met our day of coordinator, Alex. Alex was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was very accommodating to all our requests, responsive to e-mails, and overall gave me a calming sense that she had everything handled. Closer to our event date, Alex coordinated with our wedding planner and all of our vendors. I didn’t have to worry about a thing. On the day of the wedding, Alex and her team ran everything seamlessly. The ceremony site is beautiful. The cocktail hour is held on the patio which I think is a really unique and fun spot for a wedding cocktail hour. A lot of my guests commented on how much they enjoyed the appetizers. Even a sullen teenage cousin of mine cracked a smile for the philly cheese steak sliders weeks after the wedding. I must also give a personal shout out to my favorite -- the lobster tacos (make sure they’re on your menu, you won’t regret it). The reception followed and the tent looked beautiful. Dinner was delicious, and again we got a lot of compliments from guest about how great the food was. The cake was excellent as well. A few weeks before the wedding, we sent the baker a picture of what we wanted the cake to look like and she delivered. Overall I highly recommend this venue. It’s beautiful, unique and the event staff at JH will make sure your event runs seamlessly. To this day when I look back on my wedding I smile because it was so much fun and, in my unbiased opinion, pretty perfect. I think a huge part of that was choosing this venue.

This venue is absolutely breathtaking! The grounds were beautifully maintained. It was the perfect backdrop for our outdoor summer wedding ceremony and cocktail hour! We then moved indoors to the cultural center which was the perfect size for our 50 guests. The cultural center includes a spacious bridal sweet.

Open Air Affairs handles the rental and organization for The Pearl Buck House. Kim was our contact person. She was always accessible, flexible and accommodating from day 1. Open Air Affairs coordinated beautifully with Jaime Hollander Gourmet Foods and Catering! These 2 vendors have a great working relationship!

We were very pleased with the venue and our guest couldn't stop raving about it!

It is absolutely beautiful! The people at Pearl Buck and Open Aire Affairs (who manage events there) are incredibly invested in maintaining the space and making it perfect for weddings. They're constantly redoing areas, planting more flowers, and offering various options for you to customize the space. The site is simply gorgeous. Very natural, tons of green space, trees, flowers, etc.

We had our ceremony outside up against a huge field of flowers. The cocktail hour was on a beautiful brick path surrounded by brick bulidings and a little barn. For receptions there is an enormous tent. There was plenty of space for our group of 160 to sit, eat, dance, and mingle. Outside the tent is a patio where we set up a bar and a couple of fire pits with s'mores -- a bit hit!

The best part of Pearl Buck is that it's so naturally gorgeous that you don't need to go crazy with decorations. We had some flowers to complement the site, but mostly relied on the sunshine and nature.

It's beautiful, it's unique, it's outdoorsy, it's perfect. Have your wedding here, you'll LOVE it!!!

Pearl S Buck was the PERFECT location I had been looking for. The grounds are stunning and the tent (Open Aire Affairs) was not your backyard tent. It had beautiful lighting, plenty of space and the perfect backdrop for our June wedding. The new bridal suite was plenty of room for our bridal party. We would def recommend this site!

The Pearl S. Buck House provided the magical place our daughter has always wanted for her wedding reception. She and her bow had wanted an outside venue and this beautiful historic site was beyond perfect. She got the historic piece where the cocktails were served in and among the classic gardens and the outside party piece for the reception. The tent was awesome and held all our precious friends and family as we danced, ate and loved the whole night away in a glorious glow of soft light and cool air.
The crew in charge of the grounds and tent were very helpful and professional. They helped out in many many ways behind the scenes with everything from helping us carry and set-up special sentimental items to keeping everything clean and safe for our guests.
We gave them 5's across the board because they deserve it !! :)

GORGEOUS! As soon as I drove in I knew this was the place. They even had their volunteer gardners make my ceremony location perfect for my big day. I felt so special.

I knew the Pearl was my wedding site when I saw the clear top tent. Stacy was wonderful for the beginning. The grounds are impeccable. We could not have been more happy with this venue. I would highly recommend for a spring/summer wedding or ever. Kim was also very responsive and easy to work with!

I was very pleased with this venue. Its a beautiful location and they are very upfront about everything. I was however very surprised with how many expenses there were, but they did not hid them. It is a bit pricey but its very private area well set up for weddings and other social events.
