Thank you so much for the incredible experience! Our DJ, his wonderful wife, and the Photo Booth attendant all did an absolutely amazing job at our wedding. We’re huge fans of rock, 70s, 80s, 90s and oldies, and they nailed the music perfectly—it truly made the night unforgettable. I also used their Photo Booth service and absolutely loved it, and so did all of our guests! The best dj!
We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! From start to finish, they made sure everything was perfectly organized — from the processional and recessional to our first dances and all the key moments throughout the night. Their attention to detail and communication beforehand made everything run so smoothly.
And once the reception started the dance floor was packed all night long! So many of our guests commented on how amazing Chris and Melodee were. They truly made our wedding the best time ever. Highly, highly recommend!

Party Gras Entertainment was so wonderful! Chris and Melodee were very professional. They listened to us and did everything we asked for and more. They were great at getting the crowd up and dancing, with games such as the anniversary dance and the wedding party scavenger hunt. We didn't think we had much of a dancing crowd, but we're surprised by how many people enjoyed dancing. They even went above and beyond. If you want a vendor that will work with you to make your event special and truely do all they can to make it a memorable night then you need to book Party Gras entertainment!! From the very beginning Chris and Melodie were delightful they cared about our vision they offered GREAT prices and they offered recommendations to make our wedding ceremony go smoothly . They really care about their customers and will walk you thru everything to make sure you are happy and have the time of your life . Everyone loved the DJ/ Music for our wedding and it wasn’t hard to get everyone on the dance floor with their energy! If you book with them the photo booth is a must!!! Thank you both so much for making our wedding so special! My taste in music is... As my friends lovingly describe it, "A mixtape from your craziest Florida neighbor combined with your sixth grade cousin who just discovered what anime is", and Chris still went out of his way to look up the other songs on this super niche anime cover album that I wanted at least two of the songs for the processional for, and included the ones that fit the mood for guests taking their seats. That was really really special to me, and having Chris sing when we were all karaoke'd out was adorable! I was a chorus kid in school, so it made me happy to have a captive audience-- I mean, my loved ones voluntarily there to sing one more time. Thank you both so much! 💕

The perfect DJ!
I booked Party Gras as my DJ for my wedding. Christopher & Melodee are responsive and so professional! I had no worries the entire day. I had songs replaying and some songs cut off early (like our first dance) & everything was faded perfectly and went so smooth! Our dance floor was busy the entire night thanks to them! Amazing Duo
The Walters were such an amazing duo, going into DJ/emcee searching I had a lot of ideas about what I wanted and was worried that all of my ideas wouldn't be understood or fulfilled the way I imagined - yet, from booking to goodbyes they consistently exceeded my expectations and were so, so friendly, kind and flexible throughout the entire process.
There were at least two or three ideas of mine that required a lot of prep and detailed attention, Melodee and Chris both stayed on the phone for well over an hour until they knew exactly my vision and then on top of that they improvised in the moment to make those ideas even more special. Even going above and beyond and offering a camera for a faux exit when my videographers had already left.
I could not say enough kind words about them and I am so glad they were a part of our wedding.

Super Easy to Work With & Highly Experienced
You only hire DJ services, once in a while, when someone you love is getting married, etc. The challenges are great because you want to find someone that has all of the qualities necessary to make a party, including a great voice to MC the event, knowledge of music from many different generations and a willingness to tailor the music for the crowd especially since we are a large Cuban family and wanted to add some Latin flare to the event. Chris was excellent in all of these areas! What we didn't know fully, until we met him, was that he would be so willing to work with an ever changing and dynamic event, which he handled with ease and professionalism. We needed ceremony music as well and this was cued perfectly to enhance the overall mood and message of our event. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for more in a DJ and am so happy that Party Gras was available for my dates.
Most notable was his ease in transition to a couple who wanted to leave early. We had to move quickly with the garter and bouquet toss. He navigated all of our requests with ease, professionalism and made the whole thing a barrel of fun!

When booking our DJ it was so important to us that we could play our music throughout the wedding and not just your typical wedding playlist. Most DJ’s we found would only let us select from a set playlist. Party Gras was so accommodating and worked with us to design all of our preferred playlists from ceremony through reception. Chris was receptive and timely from the beginning and easy to work with. They were very affordable, but we did not have to sacrifice quality. My husband and I are so grateful to have had Chris and Melodee as our DJ and officiant at our outdoor wedding. They went above and beyond for us. They are honestly some of the most sweet and hardworking people we have ever met. We had our wedding date set for October 29th and the weather forecast jumped back and forth like I have never seen before. They stayed flexible with us and we moved our date to the 28th. IT STILL RAINED. POURED. They stayed outside with us in the rain for the ceremony. Melodee made it so beautiful and special. When we had to move the party inside our house, they moved all their equipment inside our cramped little living room and the party was so intimate and perfect. They saved the party! Chris was so entertaining and everyone had a lot of fun. Our family and friends loved the both of them. They were extremely detailed in what we wanted and they also gave really great suggestions to make the party more fun and comfortable. We would highly recommended them!!! We honestly can’t say enough good things about them! Thank you both again for EVERYTHING.

Chris and Melodee DJ'd for our Wedding and they were an absolute dream to work with. I don't know how they find the time to do everything from weddings to trivia nights but it seems like they are always working on something. But even with their busy schedule, they were in constant communication with us throughout our wedding planning process. They are extremely personable and easy to work with, but they are also very professional and on top of things when it comes to getting everything coordinated with other vendors. Unlike a lot of the faceless companies we looked at, Chris and Melodee of Party Gras are truly some of the most genuine and wonderful people to work with.

Working with Chris was great! He is reasonably priced for great service. He had all the right tunes and kept the evening flowing so we didn't have to worry about the timing of everything. He also has a photo booth you can bundle in and the was a great hit with everyone. Plus we got a copy of everyone's pictures in a Nice album!! 10/10 would recommend

Can We Get Married Again Just for the Dance Party?
We couldn't have been happier with Party Gras Entertainment! Christopher was very professional, kind, and accommodating. My Dad wanted our father daughter dance song to be a surprise and Christopher worked with him and my Mom to make sure it was exactly that! From start to finish, the process was crystal clear as well as organized and it couldn't have been simpler. Not to mention, the party was a blast! We had everyone from the littles dancing to grandparents. Christopher and Melodee were a HUGE part of making our day a success. We couldn't recommend them enough!

I hired Party Gras Entertainment for my wedding in November. They were excellent to work with, very professional, and reasonably priced. Chris was very organized and prepared making sure to review everything with me prior to the wedding so that everything was how I wanted it for the reception. I was very impressed he put in this time, as well as really make sure he knew how to pronounce everyone's names correctly. I highly recommend them for your wedding, party or event!

Great team!
My husband and I made a request of playing specific songs and Chris was wonderful in playing the music we wanted. Our guests are still messaging us to tell us how great the music was and how much fun they had. Chris was extremely accommodating and handled the music perfectly. He helped provide direction to the guests and he recognized when ceremony songs needed to run longer than planned. He was fantastic and made us feel very confident in the musical experience we wanted our guests to have.

Most wonderful DJs you could ask for!!!
Party Gras entertainment is simply a higher caliber than any other DJs in the industry. They had suggestions for me when I felt overwhelmed at ALL the different songs and music we needed to pick. They were super flexible. All I had to do was tell them my vision and things that were very important to me, and they took my stress about it away! The music kept the dance floor packed the entities reception! I’ve been to weddings where the DJs seemed like they were hosting the wedding and talked on the mic too frequently. I’ve been to weddings where they didn’t provide any direction to what was going on. This was a perfect balance. My favorite thing they provided though was the photo booth. They gave us an album of all the pics of our guests and had a place for them to write well wishes. Absolute best wedding guestbook ever!!!!!!!! I honestly can’t say enough amazing things about them. They truly made my wedding day everything I wanted and more. Cannot recommend them enough!

Recent wedding reception
We recently had our wedding reception and used Party Gras Entertainment. They were wonderful.
So helpful and accommodating. We even were a bit late trying to find a DJ and thank god they were available. We highly recommend for any DJ needs. We will definitely be using again for other parties. Thank you again for making our party a success!

party gras entertainment did an exceptional job for our wedding. we had a decent size crowd (between 125-150) and everyone had a great time and party gras knew exactly how to play to the crowd. they were professional and handled the event with the care, great knowledge, and ability. i would highly recommend them to anyone who is in need of such services. i wish that i could give them 10 stars, but alas 5 stars is the highest rating that weddingwire allows! thank you party gras for making our special day the best that it could have possibly been!!

Chris and Melodee were absolutely awesome!!! We hired them for our vow renewal and are so thankful we chose them. Together they have a ton of experience in the wedding industry. We worked one on one(two) throughout the planning process. Our theme was Celtic/Viking and they helped with the ambience of the theme by playing songs we had chosen off YouTube. The music selection is absolutely amazing. They had just about every song(some off the wall music was requested at one point) in their library that us and our guests requested. He helped me and my day of coordinator with the flow of the day of schedule. They really went above and beyond for us and I cant thank them enough. Even after all our guests had left before the end time they stuck it out with us and played music just for us. 5 stars just isn't enough. I would give 100 if I could. For your special day or even event I HIGHLY recommend choosing Chris and Melodee!!!!!!!

Could Not Have Been Better!!!
Oh my goodness Chris and Melodee were absolutely incredible. They made our wedding unforgettable. The process of booking was so easy as well as sending what songs we liked over, Chris was so responsive, polite, and flexible with all of our requests. We’ve gotten so many compliments from friends and family about how amazing they both were.
They knew exactly what to play to get the party going and Chris did such a great job with emceeing and making sure everything ran so smoothly. They also were able to add on a photo booth for us three days before our event and it made the night even more special. They were so incredibly kind and professional, but made my wedding so much fun. I cannot thank them or recommend them enough. Do not look elsewhere, they are the best!!

I've known Chris & Melodee for many years. We originally met when my husband and I were bartending at Fox & Hound. They were there when our relationship first blossomed, and they were there on our most important day! Chris & Melodee are the sweetest couple and met all of our wedding day needs. They were the most responsive vendor and were able to accommodate any and all music selections we wanted. They did an outstanding job and our guests had a blast dancing the night away. Chris and Melodee are the absolute best! They actually used to DJ at the restaurant where my husband and I met, so it was a no-brainer that they had to be part of our special day. Having Melodee officiate our wedding was a surreal full circle moment, and we're so grateful they could be part of it. I had to book them last minute and they were great about it, goes over everything, especially stuff I had no idea about. Look no further! This DJ will not disappoint! The whole process was so simple. We sent over our music playlist and he incorporated all of them and even had a few other songs that he knew would keep the party going! We hired him for our wedding and everyone had so much fun! We even paid for an extra hour since we were all enjoying our time and dancing so much. His set up is also very impressive! The lights and everything looked very professional. I highly recommend!!

This sweet couple was an absolute blessing on our wedding day! They played the vast majority of our requests and also just had the funnest atmosphere. I swear the dancing never stopped, and it was the best memory that I have from that day!! Chris is an awesome MC and his wife is also so helpful. The price was much more reasonable than other options in town, especially because their services included a photo booth. By the way, the photo booth left us with the most PRECIOUS photo album of all of the pictures that were taken by our goofy guests all night! One of my favorite things ever!!

Chris and Melodee were incredible to work with! They are very responsive to emails and were thorough in our conversations to make sure the wedding went smoothly and exactly how I wanted it! They were flexible with timing since my ceremony got pushed back due to rain! And to my surprise they had a whole album of my wedding available to me through Facebook! My photographer left early so chris and melodee were able to provide me with pictures that the photographer missed! They go above and beyond and I would highly recommend them!

A Perfect Wedding 100 Miles Away
Me and my wife Jenna had Chris and Melodee provide us with DJ and Officiant services for our wedding at Shell Island Resort. Planning a wedding in NC living in PA, they’re communication and integrity was more than a dream. Melodee provided a beautiful and flexible ceremony, and Chris was able to read the crowd to be perfect for our age ranges of 21-83! The both of them together made our wedding as close to perfect as possible. We couldn’t have done it with our them. Chris even called the night before to go over any loose ends. These two go above and beyond to ensure a great time will be had by all, especially bride and groom.

My daughter was very detailed in her music selection . Chris was able to play all the music she specifically chosen. This made her wedding a success! We all danced the night away!!! Awesome job Party Gras!!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Chris and Melodee! We used them for our wedding back in April at Holden Beach, and they were absolutely fabulous. As a bride planning my/our own wedding, it was really appreciated that they were so professional, always responded in a timely manner and made communication their priority. It made everything such a breeze! They are truly some of the nicest people you will ever meet, and they did such a superb job. We had to keep our wedding slightly low-key due to the area we had it in, but Chris still made the atmosphere fun and went out of his way to ensure we abided by the city's guidelines. They will 100% make your wedding day spectacular. Thank you Chris and Melodee for making my wedding ceremony and reception so wonderful!!

Christopher and Melodee were the most perfect people for not only on the wedding day but throughout the entire process. They are very responsive, reliable, caring, and personable. Christopher was our DJ and he had everything perfect (I even forgot my garter at home (destination wedding) and he made/found one for us)!! Melodee was our officiant which even though she did not know us for long before the wedding she made us feel like we knew her our entire lives and put our nerves at ease. There are just WAY too many great things to mention about this wonderful duo and we could not be more grateful for them! (they even got pictures throughout our wedding day for us!)

I hired them for 2 of our Kappa Delta events. They are very nice and super flexible. I love how we can make our own play lists and they take requests from everyone. Every guest was satisfied with the music! We also love the photos they take.

He made sure that the bride and groom were pleased with the music selection and personalized some of their requests to involve certain guests in the dance numbers. From the first moment I contacted them about DJing our daughter's wedding, Christopher was super responsive, incredibly helpful and FUN to communicate with. He did everything we asked him to do and more. He kept the wedding flowing in seamless transitions and excellent song choices. Party Gras Entertainment is awesome to work with, they really helped make our wedding reception a special moment in our lives! Our wedding had to be postponed 3 days before the event due to Hurricane Matthew, Christopher and Melodee happily rescheduled with us with no hassle or fees. They were so helpful and accommodating, working with us on last minute changes to ensure everything flowed seamlessly through the night. They had every special request we asked for and played a great mix of songs that had everyone dancing, laughing, and smiling (they even helped lead the party in a dance). One of the guest wrote us a thank you card for inviting her and another asked if we would do the some thing next year for our anniversary because it was so much fun! We were so disappointed when our beach wedding had to be cancelled but they helped us put it together again, same dream different day, what an amazing celebration of love.

If you are looking for a DJ for your wedding I would definitely suggest Party Gras Entertainment. Chris and Melodee were wonderful to work with and very helpful with any question you have. We loved all the music they played. The CD they gave me and my husband at the end of the night was awesome.

We used Chris and Melodee as our wedding DJ and officiant and they were amazing! Chris really knows how to keep the flow of the reception going and Melodee was very kind and professional in the ceremony. This DJ is spot on who you would want to DJ at your wedding. Chris and Melodee were some of the greatest folks I think we have ever met and for them to help us and do as much as they did on our wedding day and not charge out of the butt for their services means the world to us. The biggest pluses for them was that they were no pressure at all. They were there to help you, and to be to of service to you, and interject their expertise and make recommendations whenever they felt necessary. There were no flaws, no negatives, no drawbacks, nothing that would make you hesitate to pick them to be your DJ of choice. The price was great, they were very flexible, accommodating, and really knew there stuff and knew there craft. If anyone has a wedding that they are looking for a great DJ, then put Chris and Melodee at the top of your lists.

After another DJ backed out just 2 weeks out from our wedding date my wife and I were in a panic. Through a mutual friend we met with Chris and his wife who own and operate Party Gras and asked if they were available for our date and they were able to do it on such short notice. We met with them once before the wedding to go over the contract and all the terms but also to get to know each other. We had a blast discussing song choices and what we envisioned for our small wedding. On the actual day they were on time, set up quickly and dressed professionally. They were friendly with my wife and I as well as our guests and welcomed any song requests throughout the night. Announcements throughout the night were handled perfectly and they worked well with the venue staff to ensure everything was handled so that all my wife and I had to do was have a good time. My wife and I can't thank them enough for the amazing job Party Gras did for our wedding and highly recommend them to anyone wanting a DJ duo who feel more like good friends than just hired entertainers. Keep up the great work Party Gras!
