There is a reason why Parallel Media Productions is listed on my venue’s preferred vendor list. After one conversation with Cathy, I was impressed with her professionalism, and how personable she was over the phone. I had also viewed a number of her highlight videos on Vimeo, and instantly fell in love with her work. Cathy and her talented team were able to capture the most beautiful and memorable moments of our wedding day in both our highlight film and extended video. I have probably watched our highlight video over 30 times, and I continue to be amazed by how they can couple what is happening during a moment (such as during a speech) with the appropriate emotions as portrayed by someone’s facial expression in the audience. Their artistry and talent is well represented in their work, and I would not hesitate to call upon them, or recommend them, for any other special event in our or other peoples’ lives. -

We were blown away by the quality and style in which the video was shot and edited, unlike anything we have seen before in this space. We are more than pleased with the final product and recommend Parallel Media to anyone and everyone. Also recommend purchasing the raw footage as an extra. -

We reviewed the work of many videographers and their companies. I am thrilled to tell you that our decision to hire Cathy and Parallel Media was the best decision we could have made for our daughter and son-in- law's wedding day.
The preview montage and final video are absolutely beautiful! They capture the essence, beauty and elegance of Cary and Wes's wedding day. The video is everything we had hoped for and more. Cathy and her talented team were extremely professional, friendly and worked perfectly with other vendors as they recorded every element of the entire wedding day.

I had my dream wedding at the Waterfront Hilton in Huntington Beach, CA. When it came to planning my wedding I had a lot of unknowns as far as putting it all together, but there were two things I did know that I wanted and was dead set on them! One, was to be married at the Waterfront Hilton (which was AMAZING), and two, that I wanted a videographer that would capture every part of the most important day of my life. I looked up the different videographers on the Hilton's suggested vendors list and watched their snip its showcasing what they could do and I found my attention was immediately captured by Parallel Media Productions. It was a no brainer for me as far as choosing Parallel Media Productions, especially when my mom and I discovered how easy Cathy was to communicate with. She worked with my mom and I and was so friendly and warm. After what was the most beautiful wedding I could have imagined for myself, I realized it was over in a flash and I only hoped that my special day was captured in the video.WOW, did Parallel ever deliver! Cathy first sent us a short condensed version of our over an hour video I knew that our full length video was going to be excellent...ANNND IT WAS! I feel forever grateful that I was able to have Parallel Media Productions film my wedding. They captured every important detail of the day and the excellent editing was excellent! Getting to select my favorite songs for the video was icing on the cake, and our Blu Ray cover was personalized with pictures from the wedding. I would recommend Parallel to every bride who wants to have a beautiful video of their big day. I'm thankful to have this day on video so I can watch and remember the day I married my best friend. -

I was referred to Cathy by another videographer that does more corporate work. When I asked him for suggestions for a wedding videographer, he said the only person to go to is Cathy and I'm so happy that I took his advice. She is an amazing videographer and editor. I've watched our highlight film about 1,000 times, and it brings me so much joy to relive the most special day of my life over and over again. Cathy, I can't thank you enough for all your hard work. I rarely take the time to fill out a recommendation form like this one, but in the case of Parallel Media, it is simply the right thing to do! It was my good fortune to meet Cathy and work with her company on one of the most important days of my life, the wedding day of my daughter. Reality is, it was a leap of faith to hire Cathy. We had never met. For me, it was a sense of trust I felt the first time we spoke on the phone. I just KNEW she was going do a wonderful job, but even with that confidence, she exceeded all expectations. Her courtesy and professionalism at our event was amazing to observe, but it wasn't until she delivered the edited content that I really understood the depth and range of her talent. It's simple... if you are looking for a videographer and editor to perfectly capture your special event, and provide a lasting treasure for you and your family.... call her. She is an artist, a story teller and honestly, I consider myself a genius for hiring her sight unseen. Call her, and you'll be a genius too. -

By far the best money spent on our wedding day was on Cathy and Parallel Media. The cinematography was exceptional and our entire video looks as if it was a movie. My husband and I are so happy we worked with Cathy at Parallel Media Productions for our wedding. When we began planning our wedding, we weren't sure if we were going to have a videographer, but I'm so glad we decided to. There were so many beautiful, fun and touching moments, and I'm thrilled that they'll be captured on film. We haven't yet seen the finished product (we just got married on Nov. 10), but I know it will be fabulous. My husband and I spent a lot of time reviewing different videographers for our wedding. We are both film buffs, and wanted someone who would capture the event not just thoroughly, but also with an artistic sense and with a unique touch. Cathy and her crew fit the bill perfectly! I am camera-shy, but I hardly noticed their presence at our wedding. Cathy is extremely personable and professional, and catered to all our needs and accommodated special requests. She is also so creative and was one of our vendors we just let "do her thing" so we didn't have to stress about anything! After the day was over, she was great with communicating her feedback and providing us with truly one of our most prized possessions: our amazingly beautiful wedding video. We are so proud of our wedding video: we had a big "premiere party" where we invited family, the entire wedding party, and other close friends to watch the video wth us, and everyone loved it and raved about not only the superb quality of the footage, but the style in which it was all put together. It is so accurate and also so artistic in capturing the special beauty of our day. My husband and I have been married three years now, and every year we look forward to celebrating our anniversary with a special tradition of watching our video again. Parallel Media was everything we hoped for at the marriage of our daughter and new son-in-law. Their professionalism was evident throughout all the preparations and the magical evening itself. As odd as this sounds--the best part was that we never were aware of having them around. So many of our daughter's friends were taking pictures and in the background shots Kathy and her crew were always smiling, even when we thought everything was going to be blown away! Cathy and her team were professional and discrete - never getting in the way of the ceremony or reception - but always managing to capture the best shots. They made us an amazing video with all the songs I had selected. We were thrilled with the overall experience! -

Every time we watch our wedding video I think of how fantastically lucky we were to have worked with Cathy and her team. The video is truly a work of art. The care and attention to detail, and the excellent taste with which it was compiled is really extraordinary -- and uncommon from what I can tell from sitting through the wedding videos of other friends. She got it pitch-perfect -- not too dramatic, not cheesy ever, authentic, reverent at times, beautiful and joyful. My husband and I and our parents and family members have watched that video probably hundreds of times. Cathy managed to capture the emotions of our wedding day in a way that allows us to experience them all over again every time we watch it. I had no idea how much that was going to mean to me. We have a little son now, who is almost 2 years old. It will be a treasure for him and future members of our family to enjoy -- and an heirloom for our family. I am tremendously grateful to Cathy and Parallel Media for sharing their gifts with us! -

Cathy was an absolute pleasure to work with, she was very responsive, professional, punctual and a joy to be around. Most importantly she did exactly what we were looking for and so much more. Our wedding day was one of the best days of our lives and we are so glad that she captured it all on camera. There were so many moments she was able to film that we would have never seen otherwise. Our wedding night went by so quickly and we were so glad when the DVD's came so that we could re-live this incredible day! I would highly recommend Cathy! -

Cathy and her team were great! They showed up on time, were very professional and got footage of everything. We were so, so, so, happy with the final product. The video turned out absolutely fantastic. The way it was edited really told the whole story of the day and really captured the feeling and love and happiness of the day. WE LOVE THE HIGHLIGHT MONTAGE!!! I couldn't stop squealing when we watched it; you did an AMAZING job with the angles of the shots, the editing, and just how it all fused together! Pros: Great price, far less expensive than competitors. But quality was still great.
Cons: 4 1/2 months production time. Came with a DVDs/Blue Ray, but $400 extra for straight digital copy. -

The quality of the video was beautiful. It was wonderful to have the video since several family members could not attend. It was the next best thing to being there. They enjoyed the video and felt included in the joyous event. -
