  So much fun!

  Paradise played the perfect mix of music that kept our dance floor packed all night. They also were able to find all of our special music requests. They’re planning process was super easy to use and they were so easy to work with!

  Great DJ! Recommend!

  Ken and Trisha were so great to work with! They made picking songs so easy with their online form! They kept us and our guests on the dance floor all night long! Highly recommend!

  Fantastic!

  Paradise Entertainment was not only professional, but easy to work with. They played music that suited our wedding theme and were very considerate on the volume of the music during the wedding. They always responded in a timely manner.

  Paradise Entertainment was amazing at our wedding, everything we asked for and more! Guests of every age complimented the mix of music. They really spent the time to customize the exact tone we wanted for each portion of the party. Ken and his team are easy to communicate with, really listened to our requests and are so reasonably priced. Truly couldn’t be happier with our choice. Thank you!

  We hired Ken and his assistant, Trisha, for DJ/Entertainment as well as uplighting and monogram services for our combined indoor/outdoor wedding this July. We also added extra set ups to our package, which was very easy to do. Stating that Ken and Trisha did a wonderful job is an understatement. They were absolutely fantastic to work with every step of the way from the day we inquired, our in person meeting in December, to our big day this summer! Ken was VERY good at getting everyone to dance, even some of the guests I would have never thought would end up on the dance floor that night and it truly made our day to see everyone at our wedding having so much fun. Making sure wedding guests take advantage of everything you offer them and have a good time was one of my biggest priorities because happy guests make the couple's experience that much better for themselves. Ken and Trisha certainly make that happen and we couldn't have asked for a better DJ that evening. Also, the system they use for requests is very easy and helpful in guiding the couple when song choices can get overwhelming. They were also very flexible - last minute willing to try to keep outdoor hookups for what ended up being a combined indoor/outdoor cocktail hour. Their travel price was also very reasonable considering it was a decent travel time from waterloo to our venue. The amber uplighting looked beautiful and added to our victorian themed wedding and I loved the monogram placed behind our head table! Our reception was absolutely beautiful and these elements definitely helped complete the look!
  
  An absolutely wonderful service provided by Ken and Trisha at a very reasonable price for us! They are very good at feeling out the crowd and getting everyone to have fun! We had multiple family members and friends come up to us throughout the night saying how awesome our DJ was. If we did it all over again, we would certainly hire them in a heartbeat!

  Ken was amazing to work with! He made the whole planning process so easy with his online planning forms, and he is very responsive to emails. We instructed him through the planning forms on the songs that we wanted for the bridal procession, introductions, first dance, mother/son and father/daughter dances, and otherwise we gave him free reign of the night. We told him to play whatever he felt the guests were enjoying, and he did an amazing job. The dance floor was full all night! My older relatives even danced in the beginning of the night to some songs that they requested, and as the night progressed, he played more music geared toward our 20-30 something's. Everyone had a great time and said it was one of the best weddings they’ve been to, and a lot of it was thanks to Ken and his assistant! You won’t be disappointed in working with Paradise Entertainment.

  Ken was great! He provided uplighting and sound setups in two locations. We didn't have speeches or toasts at our wedding, and he kept things running along smoothly.

  My husband and I were UNBELIEVABLY happy with Paradise Entertainment. Ken and his assistant Trisha were amazing. We were very specific with the music that we wanted and provided Ken with the planning sheets only a couple days prior to the wedding and he got everything correct. We even asked for some editing of specific songs and he did it perfectly. My husband and I performed a montage of songs for our first dance and Ken created a mash up of all the songs for us (for no additional charge).
  We asked a lot of Ken and came up with some pretty non traditional ideas and Ken smiled and happily supported us through everything. He was so easy to work with!
  
  Our uplighting was fantastic and very elegant. I was beyond impressed when I walked into our ballroom.
  
  Ken did the music for our ceremony and I gave him extremely specific instructions and that music was also perfect. I was so happy listening from afar!
  
  My friends and family complimented us after the wedding about the lighting and the DJ! I was worried that my family and friends were not dancing people but Ken promised he would get everyone on the dance floor and he delivered!
  
  I highly recommend Paradise Entertainment because of their service, personalities, and affordability!! You won't find a better bargain and experience! I can't thank you enough for help making my wedding perfect and a great party!!!
  
  Lastly, Ken coordinated his wardrobe choice based on my wedding colors! I LOVED IT and sincerely appreciated it!!

  We had booked Ken for our wedding because we know his work from other events and we really enjoyed his selection and personality. Unfortunately, something came up and Ken had to cancel on us. We were impressed by how nicely the situation was handled: he arranged for another DJ to honor our agreement with him, in terms of time, cost, services, etc. He offered to introduce us to the new DJ and did so. He provided the other DJ with a copy of our request list and ceremony selections.
  
  Up until he had to cancel, Ken was good about keeping in touch with us. His hours of availability were not compatible with hours, but he was willing to communicate by email, text, and voicemail.
  
  It's a shame we couldn't have had him at the wedding, but he treated us very well and did an excellent job of taking care of us.

  Ken was amazing! He did our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception music. All of our friends and ourselves danced our butts off! He kept the party going all night. He helped get guests on the dance floor and made it fun for everyone!

  Ken provided an amazing DJ service for us for our wedding. He was very flexible and was easy to talk with and cared about the little details. Great crowd interaction and keeps everybody on the dance floor. Coordinated very well with our venue and photographer and everyone was on the same page which allowed for a smooth execution of the ceremony and reception activities. You wont go wrong in any way by selecting Paradise Entertainment as your DJ. I highly recommend.

  Ken is great! Very reasonable price and played great music! We didn't really know what we should play for dancing but Ken made such great choices! I was so impressed - he really got everyone dancing!

  I am not from the New York area so I booked this DJ after reading reviews and calling around for prices in the Finger Lakes Area, I was not disappointed! Ken came to our rehersal to help us get the music/walking how we wanted. He found all of the music we asked for and was great during the ceremony and reception. He was great with the guests and played exactly what we wanted without having to give a long list of dos and donts. We picked all the special songs we wanted for the ceremony and reception (and he found them all!) Then, we told him the type of music we wanted for the reception and he took care of the rest. He worked great with the photographer and kept the reception flowing nicely...it was a big help when the wedding planner was MIA!! I definately recommend this DJ to anyone!

  Ken was AWESOME to work with. He was flexible and always available when we needed him. He got back to us promptly and always answered our questions. He was ok with multiple song changes for the bridal party intros and I know most DJ's aren't. He did a fantastic job during our wedding! He was a great MC and definitely handled the crowd well. He had people dancing all night. We highly recommend Ken for a wedding DJ!! Thank you Ken, we are so glad we were able to work with you!!!

  We had a wonderful wedding, and we are especially grateful to Paradise Entertainment and especially our DJ Eric Lyte and his assistant Alison. They did a great job communicating with us before our event, sitting down and making sure all of the details were right. They found and utilized the more unusual songs that we requested for dinner, and kept the crowd on the dance floor all night long. We also appreciated that they were flexible to add and subtract elements on the fly. Thanks for making our wedding memorable!

  Ken did an amazing job at our wedding! He was able to find and play all the music we wanted even though some was a little obscure. He did a great job mixing the songs and getting in slow songs/fast songs and playing both classics and modern music. There were no cheesy wedding songs and no cheesy dj remarks. He had people up and dancing the entire night. No downtime at all! The uplighting he did also looked very classy and nice. Ken came early and set everything up so we didn't need to worry about a thing. Everyone complimented us on our dj and lighting. We highly recommend paradise entertainment!

  Ken did a great job with our requests! He was flexible and responsive and met all our expectations. We are very appreciative of all his work. He accommodated our eclectic musical requests and combined our requests for Spanish and Latino music with popular favorites. He also provided the music for our ceremony and did a wonderful job as well. We had lots of different types of music that we played and he helped put it all together seamlessly. We were very impressed. Thank you Ken for providing the finishing touches to a very special day and evening!

  Ken was very professional, and fun. He did a great job and everyone had a great time. He played everything I asked him to from the selection I filled out before the wedding. I would definately reccomend him for upcoming weddings or events!!!

  Ken, you were wonderful! I had my ceremony and reception in one venue. The ceremony was unusual, and it was an alcohol free event, and in the morning. You helped things go smoothly and worked with us every step of the way. People were crowding the dance floor the whole time and the energy was great. Thanks for your part in creating such a nice flow and fun atmosphere!

  Ken Paradise made our wedding a smashing success! Ken was great to work with and help guide through things we needed to consider for our wedding and reception. We had some special requests that he incorporated beautifully. I personally danced all night, and have recieved nothing but compliments on our wedding and reception!   Ken and Paradise Entertainment were amazing!! Ken was extremely professional and easy to work with. I was most concerned about having a DJ that was tacky and the center of attention. Ken was neither! He played exactly what we requested and had other ideas to get the group going. He was also able to play CD's the family members brought that had Greek music on it which turned out to be a blast. Ken is so easy going and was quick to respond when we had a question. I would HIGHLY recommend Paradise Entertainment!

  Ken did a perfect job of incorporating our personal music requests with traditional favorites. The dance floor was packed the entire night! He got everyone out of their seats and kept the energy high throughout the 6+ hour reception. He also helped keep all the night's events organized and fun without being the center of the attention. He communicated with us in the planning stages, made things easy, and was fun and professional at the same time. We would highly recommend him. We also used the uplighting and dance floor monogram and it added a little extra to the atmosphere.

  Ken was very professional, yet also personable. He helped us in making decisions on song choices for each dance when we were unsure. He also kept the entire crowd up and dancing, including some of the people that I had never seen dance before. It was a great time and Iwould recommend him to anyone!

  Ken at Paradise Entertainment was the best. He always responded quickly to my emails and he has some wonderful suggests for songs. He has a lot of experience with weddings and you can tell. I had no idea how everything was going to play out, but he walked me through the whole process and made it so easy. I didn't worry about a thing. I danced the whole night along with many others. We had a great time.

  We can not thank Ken Paradise enough! He did an absolute amazing job at our wedding. Your DJ can either make or brake your reception and picking Ken Paradise was a great choice....he had everyone moving and they loved him! It was organized and he kept things moving for us as well. I have no complaints! If you want to ensure that your reception is going to be a Good Party that people will remember forever than trust me pick Ken Paradise! You Rock Ken! Thank you so much:)

  Ken was wonderful! My husband and I had a fantastic night at our wedding at Ventosa Vineyards and Ken was a great DJ. Our guests were very happy with the musical selections and he was great with requests. He will do what he can to make your evening special!

  Paradise Endtertainment provided our reception with courteous and professional service. Our DJ, Jack anderspon, was dressed very nicely for our formal wedding, and played the songs from the list we had provided. Our guests commented to us on what a great playlist we had, but we know the order the songs that were played were well chosen, with experince from the Paradise Entertainment staff. Thank you so much for helping to provide a wonderful, memorable and fun evening for all of us!

  We found that Ken and Paradise Entertainment were an outstanding deal! During the reception, Ken was great at getting everyone loosened up and ready to party without 'stealing the show' or being disrespectful or unprofessional in any way. To say the least we had a blast and so did our guests of all ages! We, as well as the rest of our guests, didn't want the night to end!!

  We hired Paradise Entertainment to do our reception music (DJ) and uplighting. We couldn't be happier with our choice. Ken was fabulous to work with and really listened to all of our ideas. He was very easy to reach when needed and put us totally at ease. On the day of our wedding, Ron brought everything to life and had everyone (from 4 to 84 years old) on the dance floor all night. The pictures of my family jammin on the dance floor are hilarious! It was such a memorable evening and the music was key! The uplighting was absolutely amazing and really set the tone for the entire reception. Our photos from the first dance to the last dance have a magical colorful glow to them that is totally gorgeous!

  Our experience with ken began with a simple request for pricing. Within minutes of sending my info I received a call. I was quoted a very reasonable price but was still unsure if we could afford a dj at all. I told ken I would get back to him. I did, About 10 days before our Nov14 wedding. He assured me that there was plenty of time for planning. The day of our wedding ken was not only a great dj but an awesome coordinator. He helped make sure we all knew what we were doing...and being a young first time bride I had alot of questions! Ken continuously referred back to the planning sheet throughout the night. This dj definitely knows how to put his own personal touch on the night while giving you everything you asked for. Every single guest complimented me on my choice. From my 18 year old cousins to my 75 year old grandmother. We will be using ken for every occasion we need music for & I highly recommend you do the same :) Ken paradise is worth much more than he asks for!

  Ken did our ceremony and reception music. His planning forms make the process very easy. He was very flexible and helpful to ensure everythng was perfect. Kenn was not able to be at the rehearsal so I was concerend about the fact that the songs were much to long for the procession, but he ensuresd that everything was on time and running smoothly. He checked with me throughout the ceremeony to ensure that everything was running smoothly and when I was unsure about timing or events he always opened several options to fit our needs.

  My husband and I rated Paradise Entertainment with an overall 5.0 because there is nothing we would change about Kenneth's services. Even before the wedding, Kenneth was always there to answer any questions that we had. As the bride, I know the stress that brides go through to plan the wedding; however, when I talked to Ken I told him I wanted my memories of my wedding to be stress free. Ken allowed me to have a stress free experience because I only had to pick the songs I wanted to use for the special dances. His knowledge and experience showed tremendously when he came up will a great selection of music that got everyone at my reception up and dancing. Kenneth’s charming personality made sure everyone had fun and made the whole experience memorable. My Husband and I would highly recommend him to anyone for their special occasion.

  I can not think of one negative comment. Ken was very professional & timely, even pulling thru with last minute requests made the night before my wedding! He made an amazing contact with my brother from iraq (whom we did not expect to make the wedding, but did) to create a special message... it was priceless. I would recommend Paradise Entertainment for any event, hands down! Ken really works with his clients to provide them with exactly what they want!

  My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Paradise Entertainment. The music was chosen by the DJ and it was fun for all ages! I didnt have to worry about what was going to come on because I had grandparents and children at my reception. Ken was very entertaining but not "over the top". My all time favorite part of my whole reception was at the end...Ken invited everyone to the dance floor to form a circle around my husband, son and myself and he played "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts.   Ken was wonderful. Even with last minute changes, he knew exactly what he was doing and kept the party going. He didn't play any songs from our "do not play list" and did exactly what we asked. We received numerous compliments from our guests and we would highly recommend him.

  Ken did a wonderful job DJ'ing our wedding. We had him provide music for the ceremony as well as the reception. Our reception was on a Saturday afternoon, and not only was Ken able to get everyone on the dance floor, but he kept them there and going. He also kept the reception events moving, which was so nice to have someone making sure we got everything done that we wanted to do. On such an important (and hectic) day it was wonderful not having to worry about one more thing, I left it up to Ken and he came through big time.

  Ken was a wonderful wedding DJ. He was very flexible working with our schedules given that we live 6 hours away from where we got married. He gave us as much freedom as we wanted with our input into the playlist and had the dance floor full all night!

  Ken and Trisha did a great job for my wedding at the Aurora Inn. They were very professional and flexible and helped make the night completely stress free. Towards the end of the night when they were scheduled to leave, our guests weren't ready to stop dancing and they offered to continue on for a half hour longer which was perfect. I had a little trouble contacting them sometimes and the website isn't the easiest to navigate, but once you get past these logistical details they're fantastic. Perfect if you want a DJ who will do a great job but won't comandeer your evening for his own performance. I highly recommend Paradise Entertainment!

  When planning our wedding from out of state, my fiance and I used a list provided by our venue of suggested DJ's. We could not have been more pleased that Paradise was on that list! Their website and online planning tools made it easy to make decisions on music on our own time and update plans as they came along. On the day of the wedding, I had made a small mistake on the planning form, but Ken handled it professionally and the introductions went off without a hitch. We received many compliments from guests regarding Ken's professionalism and his choice of music which kept our guests dancing until the very last song. He and his assistant did a fantastic job making our reception fun for everyone.

  Paradise Entertainment is a fantastic DJ service! Ken Paradise and Eric Light did an amazing job with our wedding! They were incredibly easy to work with,considerably professional and were always available to answer or respond to any questions we had during the planning process.
  Eric was amazingly detail oriented and made an exceptional effort to provide us with an evening of music and entertainment that was exactly as we had dreamed it!
  As our wedding was an international affair (French/American) we wanted to represent music from both countries. Ken and Eric were very accommodating and they incorporated French music, that we had chosen and provided, with music from their data base. The blend of music was superb!
  It's obvious to us that this DJ Service takes a tremendous amount of pride in their work.

  I was extremely pleased with every aspect of my wedding -- Paradise Entertainment did not disappoint! I was an EXTREMELY picky bride and had selected a large variety of music that I did not, under any circumstances, want played. I also included several songs that I most definitely wanted played. Even though I imagine it was a pretty rough task to eliminate the several crowd-pleasing options that I did not want played, the selection was great and the DJs managed to get in all my requested songs, too. Ken even specially edited down a song that my mother in law wished to use for the mother-groom dance. I would recommend Paradise Entertainment to anyone in a heartbeat and I owe much of my wedding success to Ken and his crew!

  Ken was a great DJ for us!! My husband is so particular about our music and chose basically 90% of the songs we had at the wedding. Some were random and obscure but Ken found all of them and now plays some at other events! He was great. Our wedding was full of people who prefer to watch and take pictures rather than jump in and dance but Ken provided songs to help get people out on the dance floor as well as just get people involved. He also survived the 90+ degree weather of the wedding/reception and made it an overall fun and enjoyable experience. He was certainly one of the highlights of our day. What was so special to us was that he stayed even after the guests had left and our close family and friends were helping to clean up. I am fairly sure this was also after the time we paid him for. He is very flexible and can be contacted via phone or email. I highly recommend him, and I'm sure he will make your wedding as enjoyable as ours!

  Thanks to Paradise Entertainment, we had guests on the dance floor from the beginning of the night to the very end. People didn't want to leave! Ken worked with us to make our night very special--both in the planning phase and the night of the reception. We had a lot of specific things that we had in mind for the reception, and he helped us through all of them--from dedication songs to a non-traditional boquet and garder toss. We also used their blue uplighting, which made the reception room at the Radisson in Corning NY look fantastic. It really helped set the mood for a night of celebration and fun. We had a blast!

  We were very happy we chose Ken Paradise to DJ our wedding reception. Ken incorporated all the special music / activities (toasts, dances, etc.) we wanted along with music / activities he selected after feeling out what the crowd liked to keep the party going all night long.   Paradise Entertainment was an excellent choice for the DJ at our wedding. He played all the music we asked for and and did a great job getting everyone to dance. During dinner he managed to get our guests involved in some fun that kept everyone entertained and still allowed them to enjoy their meal. Our guests danced all night and they kept saying the DJ was awesome.
  Planning our wedding long distance was tough but the online planning tools made it easy and PE did a great job without ever meeting my fiance and I before the day of the wedding. We couldn't have asked for more!

  We chose to work with Ken and we had a ton of fun! We ended up including uplighting as well to our DJ package and it added so much. For our reception, we actually never got around to working on a must play list but Ken still did a fabulous job at playing the songs that kept people dancing. His style is definitely one that complements an older crowd and as we didn't have a playlist that included some of the pop music we like, we missed some of that (our bad). He is flexible and fun and I would definitely recommend him.

  Flexibility is only lacking a little because it is tough to book him!! Ken is great, very creative with the wedding day games, unlimited selection of music and just a very fun guy. Make sure you book him very early though, he is hard to get!

  Overall, we were very pleased with Paradise Entertainment and the job they did at our wedding. We had to request a number of songs that were on in their song base (because these were foreign songs), and it was perfectly managed by them. DJ did an amazing job at our wedding, and our guests and us absolutely loved it.
  
  The communication with Ken prior to the wedding was excellent, he helped us a lot and gave us several ideas about guest entertainment and timing.
  
  There was one thing, however, that we didn't like and that's why I am giving 4.5 rather than 5.0 stars. While communicating with Ken prior to our wedding, it was implied that he would be the DJ at our wedding and you know, DJ is an important part of your big day and you want to feel secure and comfortable with the person. However, at the actual wedding day Ken was did not show up and there was some other guy instead, who came to us right before we were about to enter the dinner hall and said that he would be our DJ. It didn't seem right to us, to be honest, because we were not even warned about that in advance.
  
  Luckily, everything went well and as said above, the DJ did a great job, however, our impression about Paradise Entertainment was a spoilt a bit.

  We had DJ Eric at our wedding and he did an amazing job. I was a little nervous at first because Ken Paradise was supposed to DJ the wedding, than a few weeks before we were told it switched. Information I shared with Ken wasn't passed to Eric, but once he contacted me directly, it was all easy sailing. He took our song list and suggestions and made it happen. Everyone danced and had a great time! He was organized and kept things moving. A+, would definitely use them in the future.

  Everyone had such a great time and Ken had no problem playing all of our requests.

  Pros: Ken is a very nice person. He did a great job getting people up and dancing for a Sunday afternoon wedding. He suggested doing an anniversary dance which went over really well. He was a wonderful MC. His prices are more than fair. I made a slideshow of my husband and I growing up which he brought his projector to play. I was so excited.
  Cons: Our slideshow got played in fast forward mode and the sound quality was poor. Not sure if he meant to do that. The guests didn't mention that they noticed, but I was a little disappointed. He didn't switch to the right entrance song for my brother and sister so when they came in with their top hat and canes everyone was confused. He's really hard to get a hold of.
  Overall would recommend.

  Good music, ok dj charisma

  Ken and Trisha were very organized, and had so many good songs ready on their database. They did well to try and engage our wedding reception crowd in spite of our guests not being the dancy type. They kept to the schedule well although they did rearrange the schedule for maximum dancing which was a little overkill for our aforementioned type of crowd. They played most the songs I wanted, and did take requests. It was awkward when they told a groomsman that his choice was on the Do Not Play list, after they said they wouldn't tell anyone that information. When the first group dance for everyone began, they told everyone to get dancing if they want us to be happy, which was kinda harsh. Overall, I enjoyed their music (I picked it), and had a good time.

  Paradise Entertainment gave us a really fun party for a great price! Several of our guests said they had never danced so much in their lives! They were easy to work with and helpful with the special requests that we had.
  
  The only drawback was that I asked for no "cheesy" music yet they ended up playing all of the typical line dances, and even YMCA. (I guess I should have been more specific!) It wasn't a big problem because everyone ended up having fun, but I wished they had paid a little closer attention to our musical tastes. Also, I asked for simple white light for the dance floor, and during dinner I saw our DJ setting up bright colored lights. I had to run out and tell him we didn't want the "disco" style lights and he seemed to have no knowledge that we had asked for elegant, simple lighting.
  
  Overall, I think Paradise Entertainment was a good value, but I would recommend being very specific with your song list.

  I liked the music he played he was able to play the music that defined my husband and I. And was able to engage the rest of the guests. My only grievance was the fact that he played the wrong song for the mother/son dance.

  I hired Paradise Entertainment almost two years ago for my wedding (May of 2014). Ken Paradise was definitely affordable and has a high rating on Wedding Wire (as of this review, 4.9 out of 50 with 62 reviews) so we decided to hired him. When we look back on our wedding, we wished we went with someone else. The night before our wedding, I called him to go over everything. He called me back and said he was available at a specific time to talk. So that time comes and he was not prepared. He asked us if we filled out the music selection list on his site, which we did, but he had no idea it was completed. He had time to prepare for the call but didn’t seem to be prepared at all. Come our wedding day, for our bridal party’s entrance, we had him a play a certain song. The maid of honor was the last to walk down the aisle before the bride and he let the song end. So she continued to walk down the aisle in awkward silence. When it came to MCing our wedding, he was ok. To me, nothing stood out but nothing was particularly bad. We filled out a list with songs we liked, loved, disliked, etc. We did it in random order because when you look at the thousands of songs available, you just add what you like as you go through it. It seemed like it was like we just made our own playlist and he just went in that particular order. For example, there was a song that got the dance floor filled. And similar to you listening to music on your own, it’s as if the song just ended and the next song then started. Nothing seemed to blend. THEN the next song was a completely different genre and decade and I just saw the mass exodus from the dance floor. I would think DJ’s would read the crowd and make their selections based on the crowd response but the way the music jumped around, it was as if I took a list of songs, played it on random, and nothing blended together. It was weird. Now I go to weddings and I see how great other DJs are and regret not going with a different DJ.
