Orly is the best. I really lucked out by booking her, I couldn't have been happier with the way it worked out! From initial emails, to the trial, in between, and the day off she was easy going and professional. I felt like an absolute perfect princess on my wedding day, and I have her to thank. All of my bridal ladies had their make up done by Orly as well, and there were zero complaints. She used the individual false eye lashes on us to complete the look. There is no reason to look anywhere else for make up if she is available on your day!!

I wish she could do my make up everyday!

Orly by far is the best make up artist around! I had my son's Bar Mitzvah in 2016 and she did my make up which was breathtaking. Orly is also very easy going and friendly to work with. I also took some make up lessons from her and I have learned all the skills i need to apply make up on myself for everyday.

I cannot thank Orly enough for the amazing job she did on not only mine but my bridesmaids and mothers makeup. I don't normally wear makeup day to day and my husband hates when I get my makeup done because it looks caked on and not like me. His first comment when we had a moment alone was "I like the makeup, you look like you and beautiful not over done." That was thanks to Orly and her amazing skill at keeping us looking natural but giving us full coverage and contouring. I would highly recommend her and have already to a friend that is getting married next year. She was a pleasure to work with and I look forward to working with her again soon!

Both Orly and her assistant did amazing work for us. They made everyone look and feel great!

What I loved and appreciated most that is hard to find was that they were calm but worked fast. Honestly, their calm approach really kept all the ladies in line.

I have worked with a lot of makeup artist and have had both good ones and not so good ones. Makeup is really an art and you need to love it to do it well.

I am very happy that I chose Orly, she was amazing!

In the future, I would only book her and recommend her :)

I am extremely pleased with the fantastic service my wedding party and I received from Orly and her assistant Sky. Everyone's makeup looked amazing - Orly and Sky really did a great job listening to what each person was looking for. I received so many compliments on my makeup (as did our wedding party). Honestly, I very rarely wear makeup. Maybe if we go out to a bar I'll put on some eye liner and mascara but that's the extent of it. So when I was getting married I was so nervous to find a make-up artist I liked. I talked to a bunch of different people, some recommended by friends, some researched, but to be honest I was worried. Worried about looking like a clown on my wedding day. Any time I have had makeup applied that is what I have looked like. Until I met Orly. I found Orly on Wedding Wire. She was so fast at responding to my messages (literally the first email i sent her I had a reply within 10 minutes). I couldn't believe it. I was excited to set up my makeup trial with her. I told her there was no way I would like the fake lashes she said she would apply but I would give it a shot. She was right, I loved them. Orly is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and can do so many different styles of makeup to make everyone happy. I got so many compliments on my makeup on my wedding day. Orly did not only my makeup but my whole bridal party's makeup too. And they all loved her. Because I gave such a glowing review and my future sister-in-law thought my makeup looked so good she booked Orly for her engagement party AND wedding next year!!!!

Orly truly did an AMAZING job and the next time I have an event I will definitely be giving her a call!

We hired Orly to do our makeup for our wedding; she actually did makeup for me and my four bridesmaids! EVERYONE was sooo impressed and happy with their makeup. It was really stunning. A future bride at the wedding came up to me at midnight and asked me for Orly's name and contact because she couldn't believe how great the makeup looked AND lasted after 12 hours! She was reliable and friendly and did a great job on all 5 different ladies. So happy we had her for our wedding :)

I can only say positive and fabulous things about Orly. From the second I emailed her to set-up a consultation I was impressed – she was so prompt and professional I was absolutely put at ease. On the big day everything went so smoothly, she showed up early and worked seamlessly with my hair stylist to get through all 8 girls. Everyone was so happy. My mom had never gotten her make-up done and had specific concerns related to her contacts - she was so impressed and happy with how everything went. She loved the eyelashes!!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED my make-up. It was done so perfectly, I wouldn’t have changed a thing. Orly listened to what I wanted and produced amazing results, so easy to talk to and work with. I felt so beautiful, my eyes just popped – Orly does the best eye lashes! The groom was definitely impressed too  Everyone’s make-up lasted the whole night… I just can’t say enough great things. Orly is absolutely amazing! She did my makeup for my wedding along with 6 other members of my bridal party and family members. Because I had a daytime wedding, we had to start makeup applications extremely early, which was no problem for Orly. She brought along Talia to help out with timing and we were all equally impressed with her services! We all wanted different things for our makeup, specifically me who never wears makeup. Orly and Talia listened to what we wanted and personalized each of our makeup applications to what each of us wanted. Orly did my makeup so I looked natural and beautiful. Orly did my makeup for my wedding as well as coordinating the event the day of. The makeup was unbelievable and lasted all day for both me, my mom an several bridesmaids. She is by far the best and most reasonably priced makeup artist in the city. She knows how good she is that she will even do a trial for you!

She was also very helpful on the day of. She created several drafts of the schedule an helped me fit in all the details. The evening flowed seamlessly and it was truly the most amazing night!

Orly was amazing to work with. She responded to my emails right away when I had questions prior to the day of my wedding and on the Big Day everything was perfect. I wanted a sexy smokey eye and that is exactly what I ended up with. She also adjusted her techniques to the needs and wants of all my bridal party. Orly Waldman did my makeup for my bridal shower and my wedding and I was so delighted about the way my makeup turned out. My favourite was how her service included false eyelashes. I have gotten lashes done before but never had them like the Orly did them. They looked full with body but still very natural looking. I encouraged my family and bridal party to do the same and they were extremely happy with the way their makeup turned out.

I found Orly very easy to deal with as she was always responding very promptly and was very organized. I was planning a wedding remotely so I really appreciated her service.

I would absolutely recommend Orly to anyone that is looking for a makeup artist for a special event.

Orly was the make-up artist and day-of coordinator for my wedding recently. I was extremely happy with her work. She is great at communication by e-mail and always quick to respond. I never wear makeup and wasn't planning on it for my son's bar mitzvah but my photographer highly recommended it for the photos (otherwise I would have looked too washed out and I even had a tan). I spoke to Orly several times and she was extremely reassuring and never pressured me. She ended up doing my make up and my mother's for the day and the evening. What a pleasure to deal with!!

Orly is absolutely amazing! She did the make-up for 9 people at my wedding on April 26, 2014. Orly was prompt and on time; she listened when people had concerns and questions and made sure that they were all satisfied with the finished product. She made everyone feel comfortable; I had several family members who do not normally wear makeup have it applied for the wedding and they were extremely happy with the results. Orly applied a range makeup styles from natural to dramatic and each one looked fabulous.

The make-up lasted all day an night, well over 12 hours. It looked just as good at the end of the night as it did when she applied it. I would recommend Orly to anyone looking for a professional, flexible, amazing make-up artist.

Orly was my make-up artist for my wedding in June and she was amazing! I have nothing but good things to say about her. From the first time I met her when she did my trial, I knew I had picked the right person. She listened to me when we discussed colours and my vision for what I wanted my makeup to look like. I'd email her with questions and asking her for suggestions. She was always responsive and gave me great advice.

On the day of the wedding she was on time and made my make up look beautiful! I got many compliments and till this day I still hear them. I hired Orly to do my makeup (and my bridal party's) for my September 2013 wedding. She provided valuable feedback, explained what products to use for our specific skin type and overall made me feel very comfortable during the makeup trial. On the actual day, she made everyone look great and most importantly, the makeup application lasted all day.

She's very professional, accommodating, flexible and always open to addressing my concerns and provide feedback. I interviewed many makeup vendors, however Orly was the one who truly exceeded my expectations with her fabulous work.

I decided to go with Orly for mine and my bridesmaids’ make-up for my wedding day because I really liked her quality of work, professionalism and pricing. I was willing to spring for airbrushing on my special day and even though it cost more, Orly was honest enough to direct me away from this since airbrushing is meant more for short-time wear of which I really appreciated this. Orly was very helpful, knowledgeable and the fact that she had sent me a less expensive direction is what really made me decide to go with her for my special day. I was also impressed by how organized and efficient Orly was from the moment I contacted her to the day of my wedding. She is very quick at responding to emails, facebook and texts. She is really amazing at what she does and is great at achieving a more natural look (for my engagement shoot) or glam look for my special day! I would highly recommend her for any event. I cannot say enough positive things about Orly. After having had her do my makeup as a bridesmaid at my sister-in-law's wedding, I immediately knew she would be the right person to do my wedding make-up. If I could give her six stars on flexibility I would - she will work with whatever make-up you want (if you have your own) and use her own wide array of top-quality products if not. Orly also make thoughtful recommendations about anything from colours to brands to what looks the best in photos. She was also able to work on a truncated timeline, after the venue staff opened up late, and still get everyone done on time. The makeup lasted throughout the entire day and the application was not uncomfortable. We all looked great, thank-you Orly!

Orly has been amazing to work with from the trial to the wedding. She was willing to work around my work schedule and she made everyone in my bridal party look beautiful on the day of the wedding. Her makeup lasted all night - over 15 hours - and the lashes she used made even my matron of honour a convert!

Would recommend her hand over fist to anyone.

Thank you so much for doing such a beautiful job on my wedding! Leading up to the event (all 2.5 years of it) you were so accommodating, flexible, and I really felt that we could communicate, not only about your work, but the wedding day as a whole.

And on the big day you not only did such an incredible job on your own artwork, but you were able to serve as a wedding mentor: whether it was helping know exactly which pictures I wanted, or helping with my Maid-of-Honour's hair!

Some of my fondest memories of that day are hanging out with my bridesmaids in the makeup room, and that you so much for helping set that calm yet excited and joyous tone! Thank you!

Orly was absolutely fantastic!
I had worked with her previously a few years ago and she has only improved in the time since.
She was flexible, approachable, professional and above all talented with her makeup.
She made me feel calm and relaxed, which is important for an anxious bride.

I will be recommending Orly to every bride I know. She was very professional, punctual and friendly. Orly made sure all my bridesmaids including myself were happy with our makeup before leaving for the day. She was extremely friendly and easy to talk to. She listened to what we wanted and worked diligently as I had a lot of girls with such little time. She was amazing!! She came prepared with all the makeup needed for each individual girl. Orly was very professional and knowledgable and amazing at what she does. I used Orly for my wedding and she created the exact vision that I wanted for my special day. I was so impressed by how organized and efficient Orly was from the moment I contacted her to the day of my wedding. Her professionalism and talent did not go unnoticed by myself, or my bridal party, who were overwhelmed by how wonderful they looked (especially my mom who doesn't usually wear a lot of makeup!). "I usually do my own makeup. I was never happy after having my makeup professionally applied, always feeling as though I was walking away not looking at all like myself. I am very particular about having perfectly drawn eyeliner, long lashes, natural looking and feeling foundation, etc. Going to a friend made me even more skeptical at first, what if I wasn't happy?

I took a chance and went to see Orly for a trial. When her work was complete, I was totally blown away by my transformation -- Orly did exactly as I hoped: natural makeup, not too heavy and she made my eyes look amazing! Perfect liner and perfect lashes! .

Going with Orly was one of the best decisions I made throughout the entire process of planning a wedding. Her brilliance came through fully a few months after the weddi...ng wen I saw the prints from our photographer.

Not only is she incredibly talented she is a wonderful person with a genuine heart and will go out of her way to make sure you are happy.

I was the kind of bride who didn't care much for backdrops, center pieces, overlays, etc. The most important thing to me was that I look my best on my wedding day. Now, some make up artists take that as meaning that I want to not look like myself. No. I wanted to look like the more enhanced version of myself. I didn't want to look in the mirror and not recognize the face staring back at me.

During my make up trial with Orly, the one thing that struck me different from all of the other make up artists was that when you told her you wanted to change something here, or change something there, she was totally cool with it. After the make up trial, even though I wasn't 100% with the make up (I still had some more research to do on what I even wanted!), I was definitely 100% on the make up artist.

Up until the night before the wedding, I was emailing Orly pictures and sending her messages. She never got upset. Also, the night before the wedding, Orly messaged me to say how she was excited for the big day. Who else does that!?

Come the next day, I was so nervous, but not Orly. After getting my make up done, I looked in the mirror and I looked beautiful! Everything that I told her that I wanted did not go in one ear and out the other. It was perfect! For those of you who do want a more natural, matte look, that is what I did and WOW.

I know I seem a little too excited about this review, but I truly do believe that in order to have a successful and RELAXED wedding day, you have to trust the people you're putting your face in. Orly is kind, sweet, and works magic with make up.

P.S. Orly also did my mom's make up and she looked UNBELIEVABLE.

P.P.S. My mom and I were going for different looks, and each looked different, but still amazing. Says something about a make up artist who doesn't have one style.

Orly was great! She was very friendly and professional at the same time. She did my bridesmaids makeup my moms and my self. The products she used where really good they are water based so you dont get that "heavy" feeling when its on your skin and it stayed on all day and night!! I would recommend any bride to give orly a call. She provides a great service for a great price :)

Orly is an exceptional make up artist! She is extremely friendly and amazing at what she does! My mom does not wear make up and was a little uncomfortable with the idea....once orly did her make up not only did my mom look amazing she wad amazed at how great the make was and how light it felt. I had compliments all night. Any future events I need make up done there is no doubt in my mind I would call or recommend orly. Orly was really great! Doesn't overcharge like some of the others out there, punctual, professional and good at what she does. Everybody looked great. Her accompanying hair associate (Shai Farzaneh) is simply fabulous with hair and they make a great team (though Shai is a tad bit disorganized in an artsy way).

I came across Orly by a recommendation made by a friend. I found Orly's website and decided to give her a call. She was very professional and gave me all the information I needed. Orly and I scheduled a makeup trial the day of my bridal shower. Orly asked me questions based on my daily makeup use. She went for a very natural look and it looked fantastic. My guests absolutely loved it and I received an abundance of compliments. Right from the trial, I knew that I had to finalize my booking with her for the day of the wedding. On the big day, she was very punctual and same with her assistant, Vise. These two ladies worked their magic and all of us looked incredible. We received a lot of compliments and we thought that the two of them were very friendly and personable.

I have already recommended Orly to a friend who also used Orly's services the day of her wedding. I will continue to recommend Orly to people that I know that will wed or have a special event in the near future. Thank you both ever so much for your talented work!!!

From the start, Orly was very professional and responsive. She came to the venue and completed the make-up for seven people quickly but didn't scrimpt on quality! My bridesmaids, my mom & mother-in-law were all very happy with her work. Orly even went to my mother-in-law's hotel room to make it more comfortable for her.

I would highly recommend Orly. She's personable and is able to make everyone feel at ease. She in very talented and everyone's make-up lasted until the end (even with a lot of dancing!). Thank you Orly for making me look & feel beautiful on my wedding day.

Orly was very professional but still friendly and made me comfortable about having her do my makeup on my wedding day. She did a fantastic job and all of my bridesmaids, along with my mom and aunt were thrilled with her work and we all received compliments on our makeup all day long. Orly was fantastic and I couldn't be happier with the service she provided for my bridesmaids, mother and I. From the moment I contacted her she was professional and informative. She would respond quickly to any questions I had. My bridesmaids and I are pretty flexible and easy going, so it was easy for Orly to work with us. She always made sure we felt comfortable and if we required a change she was more than happy to modify our make-up. I didn't have to touch up my make up except my lipstick. The value I found was great for trial and day of wedding compared to some prices I came across.

Orly was the best for this very nervous mother of the groom!!! She came to the house, totally calmed me down, did a very natural foundation and beautiful eyes . Orly Kahn-Waldman, was a wonderful person to work with I was very happy with the make up she did for myself the bride my mother, mother in law and my maid of honor/ sister in law we all felt beautiful on the day of my wedding and the added bonus was that our make up kept up well all day and night which was great and saved me from having to do constant make up checks during such an important event in my life.

I had Orly do my Wedding make-up as well as my Maid of Honour and my Mother. She was great at creating looks that worked for us and fit our tastes. The make-up was applied early in the day and still looked great at 3am when the party ended! She used high quality products and was a pleasure to work with. She was flexible about travelling to our location and didn't charge any travel fees. I would use her again for my make-up needs and highly recommend her to any Toronto Bride!

After having a few bad experiences with makeup artists I had found online for my wedding, I came across Orly's website and had a different feeling about her. I contacted her and immediately she responded to my inquiry. From day one, she was friendly, reliable and professional. I pursued a trial with her and after that, I was sold. On the day of my wedding she came as her usual self; prepared, on time and friendly as ever, as we all had some serious nerves going on for the big day. We needed her a little longer for extra video footage and she was very accommodating and flexible in staying that extra bit of time, even though she had another wedding scheduled for later. Orly worked on my make-up for a casual wedding dinner reception. I was not looking for too much make up as my wedding reception was a very small and intimate party. The make up lasted a for an entire evening. There was really no need to re-touch aside from retouching on my lips because of the food. She did a very well job. The techniques and colors used while doing my make up was very professional and appropriate. I've tried a few make up artists and she was indeed one of the best make up artists. If I am ever in need of a make up artist, I would go back to her. The value was great. Thank-you Orly.
