We were thrilled to have Erica and the O Luxe team be our stage decorator for our Pakistani wedding. Erica worked with us to help create our envisioned stage and provided helpful suggestions. When it came to the big day, Erica’s team was prompt, professional and even addressed a few unexpected snags that came our way. The finished result was excellent and exactly how we had envisioned.

The flowers were perfect!

Years ago, my cousin got married. I remember looking at her bouquet in awe, thinking, when I get married, I want this florist. The day finally came this year and surely enough, Erica was my florist. She makes all of those visions in your head come to life. She is very honest in the process, which is a breath of fresh air! Thank you for giving me all of the drama I wanted :)

I have to say that of all my wedding vendors, the team at O Luxe Design was by far our favorite to work with. We originally started with one vision, only to do a total 360 and change up the look of our wedding entirely. Our designers from O Luxe did not flinch and took it all in stride. To suit our new vision we even had to have a few pieces custom made, all of which they took care of for us. Their service was certainly top notch and our guests are still talking about how beautiful our wedding looked. We are just waiting on the photos now and will add some here when they are ready.

By far they are not the least expensive floral studio that we looked at, but if you want something unique and not like every other wedding, they are absolutely your best bet. We researched many florists and were very bored with what we found, as other studios seemed so typical. However at our first meeting with O Luxe we knew we had found "the one." The owner, Erica, is also very kind/professional and worked well with certain family members who weren't the easiest to deal with.

A word of caution, they do book up quickly and we almost lost our date due to some initial procrastination (on my part), so if you are considering them definitely don't hesitate. Their work is stunning and there is no way they will not take good care of you.

There are not enough words to express my experience with Erica at O'Luxe Design. From the very beginning, I knew Erica was the right fit for us and our wedding. She was incredibly professional and prompt with all communication, we discussed with her our wedding "theme" with just a few ideas, she took it and ran with it - and executed PERFECTLY! Her and her team created the most beautiful centerpieces, the actual most beautiful bridal bouquet I have EVER seen, almost every single person who have seen our photos so far comment on the stunning bouquet.

I had a copper arbor as well as a pianist, Erica wasn't sure about the weight of fresh flowers so she created a stunning display for both with silk flowers!! which looked incredible. Not to mention, my wedding was 3 hours away from where she is based (in the white mountains) and it was over 90 degrees the day of. Our reception was in a very hot tent and the flowers remained intact and perfect in this extreme weather, that is a result of true knowledge, experience and her perfectionist attitude. I would hire Erica a thousand times over!

Erica and her team are incredible!! They were a pleasure to work with for our wedding and made all of my floral wedding dreams come true! Erica was amazing! She was one of my favorite people to work with in planning our wedding. I had spoken with a few florists before booking, and she immediately stood out from the rest. Erica is amazing!!! My best friend used her for her wedding a few years back and since then, she's referred 8 of us to Erica and I couldn't be more impressed. From the first meeting, she was super organized and very professional all the way through the whole planning process. My husband and I got married on a hot and humid July day so we had to to tweak and rearrange things to make everything work. She was always available to talk and had a lot of creative ideas. Erica and her team worked so hard to pull off flawless arrangements and they were GORGEOUS!! My mom is still in awe of the floral arrangements!

Erica and her team did a beautiful job at our wedding this past August. She really listened to the types of flora I liked and helped to create a palette that suited the colors we wanted, mostly shades of greens and whites. She paid attention to all my pinterest details and found the modern, concrete vessels I liked. She did a mock up about a month earlier than our wedding to make sure it met our vision. Most importantly, Erica went the extra mile to make the day effortless for us. This is probably the most important quality in a wedding vendor. The day is so hectic that anything anyone can do to make it easier is a godsend. I got ready in a different location from the groom so there was some extra coordination needed. She is friendly and easy to work with. Pricing is competitive, although it's still shocking how much all the wedding costs can add up! But she's worth every penny because Erica will save you a ton of stress from not having to worry about your centerpieces to making sure everything is set up on time. The only thing I didn't love was the celosia in my bouquet which was more yellow than I wanted, but that's my own fault for choosing that flora. All in all, I would definitely recommend Orchids N'Blooms.

Erica and her floral crew were amazing to work with! From our initial meeting to the day of our event, Erica made sure that our vision came into fruition. She was very professional and also respected our wishes of keeping us within our budget. She also worked closely with my wedding planner as well as my aunt, and they had nothing but great things to say. Even when some of my aunt's wishes were a bit lofty and excessive (haha), Erica did not bat an eyelash and made sure everyone's wishes were fulfilled! We wanted our wedding to look unique and beautiful. We wanted to make sure that everyone remembered how the room looked and felt. Orchids N' Blooms completely exceeded our expectations and made everything look so gorgeous.

They were so responsive to requests, they really made the process easy, they followed through leading up to the wedding, and were very reasonable about what we needed to add to make it look how we wanted.

The day of, they were professional, responsive, and did a great job coordinating the lighting and rental vendors. They were such a pleasure to work with and really understood how we wanted everything to look. We were so happy with the design and everyone continues to comment on how beautiful and unique everything looked.

We planned a downtown Boston wedding in 4 weeks and while most people thought I was crazy, I knew that hiring the right vendors was the only way to make it a success. Erica at Orchids& Blooms was a true professional, she handled everything we communicated through email because I didn't have the time to go and meet her in person to pick anything out. What we ended up with was spectacular, everything I could have ever wanted and more and it was zero stress on me. The colors, flowers, pricing and service were top notch and people all through we spent 10x more on flowers then we actually spent...and 10 days later the centerpieces are still alive.

Orchids n' Blooms saved my wedding! I had to fire my former florist for being very shady - please NEVER use "Flowers by Val" as they are a complete scam and just didn't show up to appointments!!! I met with Erica from Orchids N' Blooms two months before my wedding and luckily she had my wedding date open! She and her team worked with me through the entire process and got completely caught up on our vision. She was always accommodating to my suggestions and usually came up with better ideas than I originally had. My centerpieces were PERFECT!!!!! I first found out about Orchids N Blooms after going to a friend's wedding back in 2012 and seeing all the beautiful decorations they did for her day. We still interviewed a bunch of different design studios just to make sure we weren't missing anything. Although O and B was definitely not the least expensive, we received absolutely beautiful work and they took great care of us from start to finish (you get what you pay for!).

It should be said that my MIL and my mother had a lot of differing ideas on what type of decor we should have, but their team handled them both very professionally. They dealt with our frequent questions, changes, and meeting requests very well and never made us feel as though we were being too overwhelming (though I know we probably were at times).

In the end of after two trials and a million color tweaks, the results of seeing everything come together on the day of were just breathtaking. Their team helped us decide on a mix of gloriously tall and a simpler low centerpieces that balanced our room out perfectly. The studio also has a designer, Scott, that specializes in hoopahs (?spelling) who built us an arch from scratch (that piece was also perfect).

Best part is that everything they made for us was ours to keep at the end, so many of the guests got to take the pieces home with them - which they loved. Even the ceremony arch was ours to keep which we were able to sell on craigslist to recoop some of what we paid.
All in all they are a reassuringly unpretentious and down to earth group of people. Tons of knowledge and the owner/main designer seems to have this amazing knack for making everything ridiculously gorgeous. By far one of our favorite vendors to work with! Absolutely fabulous. Erica took my vision and made it reality, every detail. She was so responsive, emailing me constantly (I live out of state), and so accommodating with my own schedule in helping out a busy bride. She absolutely is an expert! Erica and her team are simply amazing! I asked for the sun, the moon, and the stars and they delivered it all. They did everything we asked, but they also made sure they stuck within our budget - rather than asking us for more money. We hired Orchids and Blooms a couple of years ago for my daughter' wedding. Erica and Scott did a fabulous job and so when my other daughter got married, there was not even a question of who to hire. We thought the first time was absolutely beautiful, but we were totally blown away when we saw the flower arrangements this time. Many of our guest inquired about the florist and commented on how they had never seen such beautiful centerpieces.
Aside from the beautiful work they do, you can not work with more caring, patient, and professional people than Erica and Scott. They work very hard to present what you want and keep you in your budget. They guided us through the process with their expertise and we have no doubt that we will be hiring them again when my next daughter gets married.

Erica was very responsive and flexible through out the process which is so helpful during the hectic months leading up to a wedding. I worked with Erica and she helped me to envision the perfect flowers in the perfect wooden vessels for our wedding. I don't even know where she found the coral peonies that were used, but they were exquisite! And the prices were extremely reasonable, especially given the event.

When a last-minute flower SNAFU had me running around frantically, worried that I wouldn't have bouquets for my wedding, I contacted Orchids n Blooms hoping Erica and her team would be able to work some magic that hit a very limited budget.

The professionalism and quick response to my emails amazed me. As an out of state bride giving a florist three weeks to put something together, the quick responses at that stage were imperative (well, at least to a frazzled bride brain) and put me at ease about choosing a company based on photos and good reviews online. I was also very impressed by the accomodation of last minute changes, while minor, still helped us remember a loved one who passed away unexpectedly about a week before our wedding.

I can't say enough about how thrilled I was that despite never having a face-to-face meeting with Erica, she was able to put together exactly what I was looking for. My only requests were bright flowers and no roses, and the bouquets and corsages that were delivered were absolutely beautiful. The flowers were fresh and bright, and remained that way throughout an outdoor wedding on a 90-degree day. In fact, a week later, the bouquets are still as lovely as they were the day of the wedding (in vases at nana's, of course).

Between the flexibility of hitting my budget with beautiful results and the professionalism of everyone I encountered in my short time in contact with Orchids N Blooms, I highly recommend them.

I am so happy I chose Erica and Scott (Orchids n' Blooms) for our wedding! They were so great to work with and the flowers came out amazingly beautiful. I had very high standards for my wedding, and could not be more pleased with the flowers for the centerpieces, huppah, escort card table, and cake table. So many guests commented on the flowers. My flowers were absolutely gorgeous. I went with 2 different looks (for the ceremony and the reception) and they absolutely nailed both looks. The centerpieces, ceremony decor, bouquets, and bouts were beyond what I expected. Orchids N Blooms were very flexible throughout the entire planning as my wants/needs changed. Erica was the florist for our wedding. My husband and I realized how lost we actually were when it came to anything floral. We didn’t know the first thing about flowers, what’s in season, how we could achieve a pretty look for bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, etc that would match our vague wedding theme. If you want great quality for an affordable price, Erica from Orchids N Blooms is the BEST way to go. She is knowledgeable and great at providing expertise based upon your price range. She took our vague idea of simple elegance to help create the wedding that we dreamed of! Communications between us and Erica was very clear and quick. Even before we knew what our exact colors were going to be for the wedding or when we changed our minds a few times, she was able to keep up with our thoughts and ideas until we were able to finalize them. Each time we emailed or called her with questions, she was able to answer them the next day or often times even within the same day. One thing that she did for me that was very special that I will always remember was when the flowers arrived she noticed that some of them were wilting..) She emailed to inform me 2 days before my wedding. She sent her assistant out that day and grabbed some replacement purple Irises for my bouquet at no extra charge.The only thing I did not like about my experience with Orchids and Blooms was going to their office. The couch is too low and very uncomfortable to sit on for any length of time during a consultation. In fact, it was a futon. They should get a nice desk and a couple of chairs for consultations, or at least a sturdier, taller couch. Other than that pick Orchids N Blooms!

I have to say that of all my vendors, Erica and Scott were our favorite. Not only were they able to assist us with flowers, but everything else having to do with the decorations: linens, lighting, and some event furniture.

When we first started out with them, we really had no idea what we wanted and had not done much research to figure this out. However over the course of the year, Scott really helped us hone in on a decor concept and color scheme. Our wedding did not have a theme and they assured us that an exact theme was not necessary, which we really appreciated.

In the end, the flowers were absolutely GOREGOUS, as was everything else. The linens complemented the flower colors; the lighting complemented the linens, and so on. I am told that our guests were amazed as they first entered the room and saw everything put together.

They were by no means the least expensive floral design company that we interviewed, but the quality of service and end result was well worth it in the end. Erica and Scott only do weddings I guess, so they put a lot of effort into their work with us and spent more time than we felt we'd get from another company. Excellent, excellent, excellent....we highly recommend them and my sister (who is recently engaged) will be working with them next year. I can't wait to see what they put together for her. :o)

Erica was the florist we used for our tented backyard wedding, and she was absolutely incredible. We told her in our first meeting that we wanted something non-traditional - more of a "tablescape" than a floral arrangement, and she came back with an amazing design that was even better than what I had imagined. Throughout working with her, she was incredibly responsive, creative, budget conscious, and helpful. Erica was proactive about adjustments that she thought would make our tablescapes even better, and quickly fixed an error that our wedding planners made the week of our wedding. She dramatically exceeded my expectations for a florist, came in on budget, and was fun to work with. HIGHLY recommended!

Orchids N' Blooms were fantastic to work with. From the beginning, when we had absolutely NO clue about flowers, or what exactly we wanted, they were there to help guide us in the right direction. We gave them pictures of the dresses, and venue, described our personalities, gave ideas on colors and they went from there.

After narrowing down some of our favorite flowers throughout the planning process, we finally had our centerpieces and bouquets set! Erica & Scott even made up a mock table arrangement for us and we were blown away by that, I could not wait for the actual wedding day!

When Scott arrived with the bouquets, I was completely in awe. They were more then I could have ever imagined! I was in absolute love with mine especially, and honestly wish I could have kept it forever. The reception was equally as beautiful. We received numerous comments on how great the flowers looked in the setting - everyone was impressed!

Scott and Erica were both wonderful to work with - very flexible with their schedules, and always finding time to meet with us when we were in town (my husband and I currently live in NYC but were married in Massachusetts). You can't beat the value, and they will work with your budget! My only tip would be make sure you read the contract, and put reminders on your calendar! We didn't make our final payment/confirm our final contract in time and were charged a late fee but it was 100 percent our own fault! Just make sure you don't do that too :)

If you are looking for a great florist, Orchids N' Bloom is the way to go!

My husband and I have absolutely no complaints about Orchid n Blooms. Of all my vendors, Erica was by far the most responsive. She very rarely took more than 12 hours to respond to my emails, and never failed to respond within 24 hours. Every meeting with both Erica and Scott was both fun and productive! They were one of the few who were able to help us translate our vision into words and into reality. What is more, the final product was beyond what I imagined...in particular, my bouquet, as well as the bridesmaids bouquets, were quite honestly among the most beautiful I have ever seen and demonstrated the creativity and unconventional design that I really wanted. While everything was absolutely gorgeous, these and the ceremony pieces will always stand out in my mind as breathtaking and BETTER than anything I could have done or even described.

Erica and Scott can do it all...I would recommend Orchid n Blooms without a moment of hesitation!

Orchids N’ Blooms designed our beautiful wedding with absolute originality and creativity. Erica and her team worked tirelessly to meet all of our needs, despite the challenges of an out-of-state wedding. They met with us to discuss the style we had in mind for our wedding then created stunning centerpieces that surpassed our imaginations. On top of that, they designed my bouquet to compliment my wedding dress! They gave us the peace of mind to be able to relax and thoroughly enjoy our special day.

We are still receiving compliments for the beautiful and unique floral designs and table settings at our reception! The wedding was far beyond anything Jonathan and I could have dreamed or hoped for. We highly recommend Orchids N’ Blooms to anyone looking to set their wedding apart from the norm.

Erica can spin magic out of nothing.

We had a ridiculously tight budget for flowers and decor but what Erica was able to create with that budget completely blew us and our guests away.

I don't really have the words to describe it- the colors, the textures, the thoughtful accents (we are both 'foodies' and she incorporated edible elements in the arrangements to carry our foodie theme in the space- asparagus, avocados, artichokes, etc). I gave her vague guidelines for color and texture and she created something that was beyond my wildest imagination! Guests are still commenting about the floral arrangements!

Creativity is only one aspect I can praise about her, however. Thoughtfulness is another. My mom became ill and was hospitalized for several weeks before the wedding, and she was still very weak. We thought that she would only be able to stay for the ceremony and part of dinner and would then need to go back to the hotel room to rest. Erica said that since she was onsite anyway, she would be happy to stay with her and fetch her anything she needed and sit with her in the hotel. She will forever have my loyalty for that. We didn't need to take her up on the offer, but what florist would offer to go above and beyond like that??

The combination of creativity, service, professionalism and value is the reason I would recommend Orchids N' Blooms again and again!

Erica and Scott did an amazing job on our wedding. Erica was very responsive and always accommodating to my schedule. They were so flexible with everything I wanted to include, exclude, or change. I knew right away they were the florist for us, when at our first meeting they asked me if costs were not a factor, what my ideal wedding look would like. From that moment on, we worked on making my dream wedding come true... and they really delivered (within our budget!). I designed my centerpieces and worked so closely with Erica to fine tune exactly what I wanted the finished product to look like. Erica and Scott did a fantastic job in piecing together the look I was trying to get and also made some great recommendations. We let their creativity fly with our cocktail tables and altar flowers, and were beyond pleased with the outcome. We were also able to purchase our own hardware for the centerpieces which many florists don't even allow. This saved us a ton and enabled us to get the absolute most out of our floral budget. Orchids N’ Bloom are wonderful! We’d highly recommend them to any couple looking for great flowers, personalization, amazing creativity… all at an affordable price! erica was so wonderful to work with. i used orchids n blooms to provide both flowers and tablecloths for my wedding. everything looked beautiful! i had changed my color scheme halfway through the process and erica was super flexible to just go with the flow and provide options for my new ideas. she did a great job interpreting my ideas into really unique arrangements and provided organized set-up and removal of the linens as well. just a pleasure to have as a vendor during what is otherwise a stressful planning time!

Great florist for weddings and special events. I worked with Erica to put together the flowers for an October wedding. I sent Orchids 'n Blooms a list of the flowers I wanted for the wedding, which included a few less-than-traditional requests. They quickly responded with a short document summarizing the request, with a price quote that beat all other florists I spoke to.

Erica understood exactly what I was looking for and was always quick to respond to emails. She met me in Boston to discuss the order in person, and then delivered all of the flowers on schedule to three separate locations on the wedding day. I'd absolutely use them again.

After months of trying unsuccessfully to finalize with another florist, I decided start my search over and came across Orchids N' Blooms on Wedding Wire. I contacted them with a competitor's quote and received a counter-quote the same day. Erica always responds quickly and she was even able to squeeze us into her busy Memorial Day weekend for an in-person consultation. My now-husband and I were sold before we walked out of her studio and we're so glad we decided to book her! She improved on our ideas while staying within our budget (with orchids!) and the bouquets, centerpieces, corsages, boutonnieres, ceremony flowers, EVERYTHING were beautiful! So much so that some of our guests stole some arrangements after the reception! It's a month after my wedding and some of my centerpiece orchids are alive and thriving. To be honest, ONB was the 5th (and final) florist we interviewed after months of online research and looking through reviews. We ended up booking them because they were the only ones who seemed to really "get" our vision. Although I did not fully know what I wanted at first, I had a general idea and then they spent a lot of time helping us pull our whole look together. They also helped us stay within our
budget, which although relatively sizable, did not seem to be a priority for other florist studios.

In the end our flowers were absolutely gorgeous. My mother and aunt - two very tough critics throughout the planning process, were beyond impressed. My bouquet must have lasted a good week after the wedding and everyone else took the centerpieces home (there were literally none left for us!).

We definitely recommend them, based on the time they spent with us and on their attention to detail. Their ideas are truly original and they pride themselves on customizing flowers (rather than doing what has always been done). They may not be the least expensive of others out there, but they definitely provide excellent quality work and do not skimp or use any "filler" flowers.

My sister is also engaged and just booked them as well, so we are excited to see what they arrange for her.

Erica and her team did an outstanding job! They were extremely flexible through the planning process and very attentive. The week of the wedding we learned that it would be difficult to find quality calla lillies so Erica offered alternative suggestions that turned out to be perfect!

The bouquets and centerpieces were absolutely gorgeous and our guests couldn't stop raving about them. Our bouquets especially mine as the bride, were stunning!!! My bridesmaids have been in countless other weddings and all thought that these were hands down the best they have ever seen (even better than their own weddings).

Words can’t express how wonderful my experience was with Orchids N’ Bloom! I thought I had a tall order to fill because I wanted to have a full tropical themed décor wedding, but not the cheesy Hawaiian shirt beach look, but several notches above…as my husband and I call it, “Tropical Elegance.”

When we had our meeting with Orchids N’ Bloom, it was very clear that they understood what we were looking for and respected our options and style. They gave great suggestions and were very knowledgeable on a variety of exotic floral from all over the world.
We wanted bold flowers, they gave us bold flowers. We wanted elegance, they gave us elegance. We wanted tons of color to flow with our theme, they gave us that too. Pretty much what we were looking for in a floral and décor for a “Tropical Elegance” theme at both our ceremony setup and reception was done!

The designers Erica and Scott consistently checked in with us giving us updates on flower orders, shipments and worked well with our wedding timeline so that the delivery and set up with flawless. They also worked well with our day of wedding coordinator as well as our wedding venue.

We couldn’t have asked for a better company to trust in for our wedding.

I actually met with Orchids N' Blooms based on other brides reviews and the pictures of their flowers. I am SO glad that I listened! Erica was very responsive and we had the same name which had to be a good sign right? :) I met with Erica at their studio and she asked me all kinds of questions about my vision and I brought some photos to help her see what I liked. First of all, we met with a florist before we met with Orchids N' Blooms and, for what we were asking, they came in at twice the price! After we met with Orchids N Blooms, we felt not only the price was right, but that they truly knew what they were doing. They do so many weddings every year, and their experience and the fact that a wedding is "old hat" for them because they do several a weekend, made us SO comfortable with choosing them!

I was a bride who had a hard time deciding what exactly she wanted with flowers and design, but I knew I did not want to overspend and I wanted to rely on the expertise of the designer to come up with the flowers I wanted. I was comfortable with Erica and Scott the moment I met them. They were fine with the fact that I didn't know what the heck I was doing and just wanted them to use some in-season flowers in a particular color scheme (which, by the way, we changed a couple times throughout the process without so much as a raised eyebrow from them). They were very up front about pricing and helped us add and remove the right things to get our budget and vision in line. Plus, they were able to coordinate our linens, chairs and uplighting so we had nothing to worry about and everything looked great together.

Highly, highly recommended!

Beautiful flowers....people are still commenting on how unique and lovely they were. More than one person said that the rose petals were like velvet. And a few asked me for the name of the florist.

We came across O&B after seeeing their work at a mutual friend's wedding. We booked them for our own wedding soon thereafter and they were, by far, our most favorite vendor to work with. They will work with any budget and any concept, which was comforting considering our style/taste was not traditional by any means.

Tbeir service was always very personal and they did not make us feel like we were just another couple of a million others. Erica, the owner, took a great deal of time working with us to hone in floral designs that were unique and that fit our vision to a "T". Both she and Scott (another of the designers) were always easy to reach and usually got back to our calls/e-mails within a day's time.

Our floral budget wasn't huge, but we still could not believe the quality and lushness of the flowers that we did get. Guests are still commenting on how beautiful the tables looked, to the point where there was only one left at the end of the night (all others had been taken home).

Something else I liked was that they do not substitute anything without checking first. If what we originally agreed couldn't be obtained, they would call us and let us know so that we could choose something else.

All in all, both the quality of the flowers and their service was excellent. I would highly recommend them to other brides.

I used Orchids'n'Blooms for bouquets, bouts, corsages, reception table arrangements and an altar arrangement for the ceremony. Everything was beautiful - I met with Erica and she very quickly "got" exactly what I was looking for, and more importantly delivered what I was looking for, with minimal direction on my part (and I loooooved my bouqet!). Most of the table arrangements went to a nearby nursing home after the wedding, and still looked fantastic when we stopped by to visit a couple of days later. The final prices were also more affordable than other florists quoted me for much more minimal arrangements. Finally, the Orchids'n'Blooms team was wonderful to work with, even when I goofed up on some communications. I recommend them to other brides without hesitation.

Erica and Scott are highly professional, organized and VERY talented. They met with me on several occasions and worked with me to stay within my budget. The result was amazing. The flowers at our wedding could not have been more beautiful. I have heard brides say that some florists pressure them to spend a ton of money or laugh at their budget- this is NOT the case at all with Orchids 'N Blooms. They are creative and fun to work with. One suggestion I have for brides is to let Orchids 'N Blooms give you some ideas. The suggested doing all green flowers for one portion of my wedding- something that I never would have thought of- and it was amazing. There were a few other arrangements I let them surprise me with and the results were so impressive. They are true professionals. I had so many compliments on my flowers, but best of all, my husband and I loved them too. I could not have been happier with my experience and would like to add that Erica & Scott went above and beyond the call of duty for me in what turned into a tricky delivery process. I would hire Orchids' N Blooms again in a second and using them was one of the best decisions I made in the wedding. One of the things I was most nervous about when wedding planning was the floral. At first I thought I would go the DIY route with the help of family, but after hearing horror stories from some friends who ended up with bloody hands at their wedding from all the last-minute de-thorning, or who had their flowers wilt due to insufficient air in their apartments, I was quite nervous yet didn't think a florist would be within my wedding budget.

I was very happy with Orchids N Blooms - Scott was great to work with, and helped my mom and I come up with a vision for our floral arrangements for the wedding reception. OAB also created two ceremony centerpieces and all of the bridal bouquets and boutonnieres. I was impressed with how large and full the bouquets came out, and all floral arrangements were also beautiful (we had 5 tall and 5 short ones). Even with a tight budget, Scott worked with us to select flowers that were in season and on the less expensive side, yet matched our color scheme. They also rented us pedestals (non-tacky ones) for our ceremony display. I would definitely recommend OAB to other brides!

We had a fairly small budget for flowers and decor, so I was definitely concerned about what we would be able to get for the money. I was very happy with the end result! Erica invested a lot time (including a couple of in person meetings) to come up with a design that I loved and fit our budget. I was very particular about the color of the bridesmaids bouquets, so Erica made sure that she knew exactly what I was looking for, and when they arrived on the day of the wedding, they were perfect. I would highly recommend Orchids N' Bloom!

Words cannot express how happy I was with all the flowers and decor at my wedding. Erica and Scott did an AMAZING job to say the least.

As I wedding planner myself, I had lots of ideas and needed some guidance to narrow down my selections. Even when I tweaked my color scheme a bit only weeks before the wedding, Erica patiently listened and was extremely helpful. I had to stay within a budget, and Erica was always conscious of that. I never felt that I was being oversold. I wanted artistic options that matched my budget, and that's exactly what Orchids n' Blooms gave me.

When the bouquets first arrived in my bridal suite, everyone gasped and couldn't believe how gorgeous their flowers were. My bouquet was PERFECT; it had the sparkle I wanted and was full of my favorite flower...huge white phalaenopsis orchids. As far as my reception, I literally cried tears of joys when I first saw the room. Bursts of red, purple, and magenta in all my favorite floral. Candles everywhere. My sweetheart tables had very cool, modern arrangements with crystals hanging down. Our guests kept using the word "STUNNING". When it comes to meeting my expectations, Erica and Scott hit it out of the park!

Erica and Scott, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You made my vision come true. And you made it even more special than I imagined! I couldn't be happier!

I was really impressed by the flower arrangements that they provided for the money I was paying. They were very helpful, and listened exactly to what I said, and in my budget. Their customer service has been excellent. I could not believe the flowers in my bouquet and the bridesmaid bouquets. One thing I would mention is each bout had about three roses on them, and they were some hefty bouts. I would say maybe specify or clarify how many roses you want in your bouts. Flowers is not something I wanted to spend too much on because other things were more important to me, but I was extremely impressed when the flowers arrived on how beautiful and full they looked.

I found Scott and Erica off a Google search and later a postcard that was sent to me but after they described their pricing and met with my then fiancé and me I couldn't be happier with the value, professionalism and quality of their service as my florist.

The Bottom-line:

Price - Once I told them what my budget was they were more than happy to explain the different, more effective cost options of flowers to me. They actually wanted me to meet my budget instead of trying to push more onto it. I met with several of the wedding florists that are featured at wedding expos and were on my preferred vendor list. They were ALL overpriced. The wholesale concept of Orchids n Blooms is a great option for the cost conscious.

Professionalism - I was a very fickle bride and both Scott and Erica were there to guide me through the flower picking/arranging process. They provide this service called a "mock up" which is crucial as you get to look at an actual centerpiece before your wedding and change things you like or don't like. At our mock up I had my mother and father there and Scott was very perceptive to all of our critiques and changes. Both Scott and Erica were readily available via telephone and email and were responsive in a timely manner.

Value - Best value in Boston hands down. If you know what you want, for example I knew I wanted hydrangea and callas, you can bring photos to several florists and if you're experience is anything like mine you will not find a better value from Boston to Peabody.

Overall, I am very thankful for such a great florist. They worked with my ideas and gave me the spectacular centerpieces and escort table that I wanted. My sweet heart table was also gorgeous. Their ancillary services are just as spectacular and I ended up hiring them for my month-of planning - which I am all too thankful I did. Their vendor relationships with other vendors seemed well established and they were more than happy either to book things that I hadn't thought of or at least get me some pricing on those items.

I have recommended them to friends who are getting married in the Boston area as well - please see my review under wedding planner. My wedding would not have been as spectacular and smooth without Scott, Erica and their team's hard work (literally very late planning nights).

I was so pleased with Orchids N' Bloom! They were very responsive when I called or emailed. I provided a picture of the look I was going for and got exactly what I was looking for within my budget. The staff was very professional and flexible when I requested changes. They were also great at brainstorming ideas to make the hall look beautiful while still repecting my budget.

AMAZING COMPANY! When I first started planning my wedding I had no intention of getting a florist. It wasn't until a few months before the big date that I realized I was in over my head and needed help. With only 3 months to spare, Orchids and Blooms made the space for me and put me in!

My experience with them could not have been better! I'll readily admit that I was not an easy bride to work with. I honestly had NO CLUE what I wanted. I didn't really like most flowers. I couldn't picture what kind of decor I could even have. All I knew that I wanted was candles. She was so patient throughout the process and not only that but through getting to know me she was able to figure out exactly what I'd like (even before I could figure it out!).

She helped me pick some things and the rest I left up to her. Once the big day came and I walked down the isle, even with the overwhelming emotions going through me I was able to take some notice of how BEAUTIFUL Orchids and Blooms made the place look!

Once I was able to take it all in after the ceremony I was absolutely speechless. I hardly had a vision yet they literally CREATED the image of my absolute dream wedding. The talent they displayed is unbelievable and I will recommend them to any and every bride I encounter!

At the end of the night people were practically fighting over who could take home what, all the way down to the branches! I'm still getting compliments on how beautiful the wedding was and it simply would not have looked as amazing as it did without Orchids and Blooms!

Erica and Scott were really great to work with. From our first meeting they seemed to have a good understanding of what I was looking for. They were able to work within my budget and the flowers came out gorgeous. They also helped us with renting chair covers.

There was one small problem with the flowers and we spoke to them afterwards and they were able to resolve the issue. I would highly recommend them.

Great flowers, great decor, will definitely book again. The only hiccup was our seating arrangement for our guest during the ceremony was not what we discussed and my aisle was too narrow. If the seating for our guest was executed the way we wanted then it would have prevented the aisle from being too narrow. Overall, great work and our guest loved it!

Everyone loved our flowers at the wedding. I was very indecisive when I first started looking at all the flower options. I knew what I didn’t want, but had difficulty finding the flowers that I wanted in season and within budget. Erica and her team met with me several times to ensure that I got exactly the look I wanted. They were great to work with and they made sure to stay within my budget.

The flowers from Orchids N' Blooms were beyond amazing. My friends could not stop talking about the centerpieces. The price was fair compared to another vendor I looked at. The flowers also came with the vases so we didn't have to worry about them being returned at the end of the night. Our guests immediately grabbed centerpieces as soon as they know they were available for taken. It was that popular.

My only downside was that the vendor got into a car accident and missed my ceremony so we started without flowers. During the ceremony we had to pause while we pinned flowers on the parents. It's not something I can blame anyone but I was told by my wedding planner she would be 10 minutes later than expected but the vendor never contacted me nor kept me up to date. She was more than 10 minutes late, more like arrived 10 minutes after the ceremony already started. She was supposed to arrive 30 minutes before the start but arrived 10 minutes after the ceremony already started. We had unused flowers for the ceremony b/c it was too late to prepare.

We had a great experience with Orchids N' Blooms. Despite a tight budget, they gave us a lot of options for how to create beautiful arrangements for our wedding. (And they were actually able to meet our budget, unlike other florists!) In the end, our arrangements were above and beyond my expectations, including surprise peonies (which are expensive!) in my bouquet and my maid of honor's bouquet in the place of carnations. Though the arrangements were a bit different than I had expected, they were beautiful and we received a lot of compliments on the flowers. Just make sure you review and ask about what exactly is included in the original quote; we were planning to reuse the bridesmaids' bouquets as table centerpieces to save on cost, but the vases to actually turn them into centerpieces weren't included in the quote. It wasn't a big price difference, but was a surprise. I highly recommend Orchids N' Blooms. You definitely get a lot for your money and they're easy to work with and create beautiful arrangements.

Erica was a pleasure to work with. She suggested a beautiful and unique flower color combination, worked with us to meet our price range, and was very responsive in the course of our planning process (which was on a very tight timeline). One challenge we encountered was the execution of our chuppah. We were told there would be a fabric covering to be suspended from the pergola but this was not done and we had a last minute scramble to arrange for an alternate solution.
Execution of the centerpieces, bouquets for bride and bridesmaids, and cake decoration, petals for flower girls, boutonnieres, etc, was very much to expectations.

Scott and Erica were wonderful to work with on my wedding. They were a referral from a friend, and I was drawn to their unique sense of what is beautiful as well as their very reasonable prices. On the day of, I was amazed at how beautiful my bouquet and the other flowers were, and they were able to interpret what I wanted from just one meeting. I would use them again and recommend them to friends!

I hired Erica from ONB to do my wedding, Erica was less expensive than other florists but in retrospect I wish I had hired the other florists. She has little attention to detail and poor customer service.
Pros:
Responsiveness: Erica was very responsive over the phone and email. Since we were planning our wedding from NYC, Erica accommodated our schedule.
Personal Flowers: Were nice. My bouquet was a bit bigger than I had asked for, but in general they were nice. However, she did not give the personal flowers to the Groom's side so they had no boutonnieres/corsages until after the ceremony. I am not sure if that is on Erica or the planner but either way a vendor with attention to detail would have ensured they were delivered properly.
Cons:
Reception Flowers: At the trial for the tables the tall arrangements, looked nothing like what we discussed. She agreed to change them but charged me an extra $50 per table.The arrangements at our wedding were exactly the ones she showed (and I hated) at the trial. I questioned her about it, why the vases hadn't been swapped for the more expensive ones and why the flowers she used were the ones I didn't want etc. She said that because my check came in late that was the best she could do. I paid her (as agreed) the day we finalized the table count and offered to have a check dropped off in the event she needed the payment sooner. The tables looked messy and awful.
Chuppah: We had a very simple chuppah, no flowers just draped fabric. We were very specific that it should look like the one in the picture that we provided and was in the contract. It was nothing like we discussed and the top drooped so much it hit the groom in the head.
Attention to detail: Very little attention to detail. We had to send back the contract several times because things were not properly updated. Things that we spoke about repeatedly were not delivered. When asked about this Erica said "we talked about it but it wasn't in the contract".

This is a long, detailed review but hope that this will help future brides. I was really excited to work with Orchids N Bloom (ONB) until 3 days before my wedding. Long story short, they were the most responsive of all of my vendors and I was really excited about the prompt back-and-forth in our email communication. They were by far the most affordable of all florists I had surveyed in the greater Boston area, but unfortunately, you pay for what you get. I am disappointed with their understanding about a bride's vision, particularly and ironically in orchids (given their company name) in the setting of our frequent communications which included numerous inspiration photos.

To start off on a positive note, all of the personal flowers, with the exception of the groom and bride flowers, were lovey, similar to the inspiration photos and descriptions I provided to the design team.

However, here is a list of the problems that ensued in the days preceding my wedding:
(1) Three days before my wedding, Erica told me they were concerned that my phalaenopsis orchid bouquet would die in the forecasted 100 degree weather. This was followed by an email that "good news is that phalaenopsis orchids did not pass customs thus we will replace it with cymbidium orchids". However, this was definitely not good news to me, because phalaenopsis is my favorite orchid and I wanted it a phalaenopsis bridal posy bouquet, groom boutonierre and cake decor.
(2) ONB created an alternative bridal bouquet and boutonierre but it was NOTHING like the inspiration pictures that I sent. I wanted a delicate and light posy and this was a large, thick bouquet with alternative blooms and a few phalaenopsis that was placed on top of the bouquet that might be another bride's style but definitely not what I wanted. I saw pictures of the bouquet and boutonierre on facebook the night before my wedding and I am glad that I did because I called Winston Flowers at 9am on wedding day to see if they could create the bridal posy bouquet of my dreams and they had an abundant supply of phalaenopsis. (With a comparable cost to Orchids N-Blooms, Winston Flowers was able to create a slightly cascading phalaenopsis bouquet and corrosponding groom boutonierre AND deliver it to my hotel in literally 4 hours. And based on the same photos that I provided to Orchids N'Blooms, they were able to provide me with my dream bridal bouquet. This bouquet was still looking beautiful and fresh 24 hours after the heat from wedding day.)
(3) ONB offered to removed the few phalaenopsis orchids off of my cake and remake my bouquet, but (a) I did not want to compromise my cake and (b) I already lost confidence in their ability to design my bridal bouquet. In fact, the State Room had to take the phalaenopsis orchids off my bouquet to add flowers to my wedding cake that was looking overly plain (keep in mind specific pictures were provided for the wedding cake as well)
(4) My wedding colors were pink (mauve) and ivory with gold accents. The top of my contract states "simple, monochromatic design". I had several discussions with ONB about my concerns about colors clashing with the bridesmaid dress mauve-pink fabric and even mailed them a swatch of the fabric. I specifically told them I did not want hot pink or fushia, and that I thought light pink or even a slight reddish pink shade would compliment the dresses well. Somehow, despite frequent communication, there was a rainbow of light pink, fuscia, and PURPLE flowers.
(5) The bridesmaid bouquets were lovely BUT conflicting with our contract point. It was supposed to me mostly a dendrobium bouquet and ONB explained that we would hydrangea for the base. Instead, it was a mostly hydrangea with a few fluffs of dendrobium bouquet. Everybody knows that dendrobiums are far more expensive than hydrangeas...
(6) Despite explicit desciptions and photo examples for 6 tall centerpieces and 5 short centerpieces, we had 2 tall centerpieces and 9 short centerpieces. Obviously paid for more tall centerpieces...

I am writing this review because other brides-to-be should be aware that budget-friendly vendors might not be able to deliver exactly what you want but if specific floral design is not that important to you, then they would be just fine to work with as they are very responsive and punctual. This would be the perfect florist for a bride who (1) does not care for details and (2) does not have a favorite flower or color.

Edit: In response to ONB's response below, it is no excuse that we were unable to meet in person a second time. I work more than 80hours/week but communicated with Erica very very VERY frequently, providing MULTIPLE inspiration photos and also descriptions. All of my friends and even my husband will honestly say that ONB's bridal bouquet and reception centerpieces were NOTHING like the inspiration photos. To compare with other vendors such as Winston Flowers and I dream of Jeanne Cakes, I provided only two inspiration photos and minimal email/phone calls but they were able proceed with developing exactly what I wanted. The responsive from ONB was defensive and unprofessional and I was insulted by the mere $50 refund despite their inability to meet our contract points and despite my stress and having to spend extra money to receive a the bouquet from the contract. If there was more time, I would have had Winston Flowers redo ALL of the flowers at my wedding.

Horrible experience with this florist, I would not recommend their services. They used flowers that were not approved for the cake and centerpieces after specifics were discussed along with visuals to back it up. Extremely unprofessional and I felt like my wedding was a low priority.

The owner of this business has dead flowers outside her front door - that should have been a HUGE red flag.
