  I was very disappointed in the results that I received from Occasions Unlimited. I could never get Allison to give me a call back when I had questions. Whenever I went into the business, there would be people standing around, sometimes arguing and cussing. Of course, you have to give a huge deposit beforehand and at that point I really couldn't change everything about my wedding. The entire week coming up to the wedding I was extremely nervous because I could not get any feedback about when to expect arrival of the decorations, flowers, etc. And again, no one would answer the phone or if they did answer the phone, Allison was never available and would never return messages left. Very disappointing. I'm just glad that it's over with. I have made sure that none of my friends have this awful experience.

  Very unorganized,hard to get a hold of. The three staff members that were working were not dresses professionally. Lights , speaker system & fans that were ordered were not in working order. Food was pretty good, but served late at 8:45 pm. Not prepared

To make a long story short, she lacks effective communication skills and was not professional. My issue is they didn't complete my order!   The business owner/operator, A. Hart, of Occasions Unlimited in Paducah, KY was and is very unprofessional. When inquiring about renting items from her, the decision was made that we would do an exchange for an item that we had, at HER request.
  When attempting to speak with her a few weeks before the event we could never get in touch with her. Finally we got in touch with her and she had decided to change the terms of the 'contract' without speaking with us.
  We went to pick up the items the day before and not everything was there. Should have know that she, nor any other employee who would've known about the specified items would be around. I had to show the list to a very nice gentleman who politely got the items for us and apologized. I thanked him because he had wonderful customer service skills.
  Upon returning the items, I had to wait for almost 3 hours for anyone to come to the store. That was after reading a note on the door that said they'd be back at a specified time. Finally a young lady arrived and I asked that I receive a call from Ms. Hart.
  
  Two weeks after that, I had to call to see if she had received my message. She had, but just never called to confirm our meeting.
  
  I feel that since she is the only business in the Paducah area that provides event rental/planning services, she acts with entitlement. I would recommend that any customer that go to this business stay very cautious, document everything said and every call made and be sure to use a traceable form of payment.
