    My wife found Donald through some friends and later through the knot.com. We met with Don and instantly felt like we were sitting with an artist. He was very reasonable with his price and very easy to talk to. Our engagement shoot was something I wasn't looking forward to...but that day, in palmdale, where we decided to have a desert backdrop, Don made the experience better than I thought it would be. He was creative, and despite 40mph winds on that day, shooting for 4 hours, and still passionate to get more shots, I had a good feeling. The pictures came out so good that I couldn't even think of something to make fun of.

    On our wedding day, Don and his team were determined, easy going, had good sense of humor, and made us feel at ease. I will definitely hire Don again for our happy occasions!

    Don was incredible. Eric & I loved how they capture the REALITY of weddings – from happy tears to wiggly children to eye-rolls and the brides maids & groomsmen sneaking a beverage. Don captured photos that are truly authentic. His work is a reflection of his personality!

    Don and his team are amazing! From our first discussions, to the preparations, to the big day itself, Don made our experience exceptional. Above and beyond all that you would expect in terms of skill and professionalism Don, and team, became an integral part of our wedding day. They laughed and enjoyed moments with us, then slipping seamlessly into the background to capture every precious moment. We had so much fun with his team that my bridesmaids dubbed Don’s partner “funtographer”. The team truly made our day. Shockingly, only one month after the big event, we received a bountiful number of images. “I’m in love”, “absolutely stunning”, “perfection”. Don’s work was so phenomenal that these were the types of comments I received from my family and guests.

    Selecting a photographer was difficult for me. My Maid of Honor and her husband are wedding photographers, so we were a bit critical in our selection. My MOH and her husband were extremely impressed by Don and his team. They particularly noted his ability to manage the family, from babies to grandparents, the guests and the bridal party, while still capturing artistic imagery.

    Words can’t express how happy we truly are. The only trouble that I have with Don’s work… is that there are so many incredible images that I am struggling to pick which one to put on my wall. I think most brides would agree, this is a problem we are willing to have!

    Don is amazing, he was everywhere all day and took my preferences into his work. He did a site visit with me before the wedding to be prepped, and went straight off a photo list I made. Highly recommend!

    We just received our photos back from Don and we couldn't be happier. He went above and beyond. If you're looking for a photographer, book him. No, really - BOOK HIM. Honestly, Don and his team are absolutely amazing. He is professional, kind, incredibly talented and made everyone feel super comfortable with style and grace. Honestly - he's the man. We had around 220 people at our wedding, and I felt like Don and his second photographer were omnipresent. They truly didn't miss a beat. The photos are absolutely stunning. It's clear through his work that he cares about what he does.

    Don was amazing! We did not do an engagement shoot, but I did a Boudoir shoot that turned out amazing. On the day of our wedding Don was great. I gave him some basic instructions and a basic photo list. I was feeling a little overwhelmed by everything going on and he just handled photos. I have not received all of my images yet, but he sent some teaser photos and they are all fantastic. We also did his photo booth set up, which our guests loved. Since he does not use an actual booth we were able to get really awesome group shots. He is very professional, easy to work with, and has an amazing eye for detail and what is going on. Our guests also commented on how friendly and professional he was. I am so happy he was there to capture our special day! He was worth every penny!

    Don and his team were so professional and by far the best wedding vendors we worked with. We thought the price package he provided for our LA wedding was really reasonable, and we absolutely loved the photos. The photographer that attended our event - Rich - was very organized and had really paid attention to our brief. He was a huge hit with family and guests on the night and we had such a positive experience. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Norris Photo to others

    Don did an amazing job capturing my wedding. It was such a crazy and hectic day and I knew that I didn't have to worry about my photos because Don would get the job done. My pictures turned out even more beautiful than I could have imagined. He made sure to capture all the special details. I had a photo I wanted recreated of my mother on her wedding day and Don did it perfectly. My mother passed away so this was an extra special moment and he made sure to get it just right. I can't thank him enough and would highly recommend him to anyone. You're in good hands with Norris Photo.

    Don was my wedding photographer and a referral from trusted friends. He was at the venue early to set up and did not miss a single moment that evening. He was extremely professional and was such a calming presence on a relatively stressful day. I ended up getting about 600 wedding photos and they were absolutely stunning. What I really liked about Don's style is that he was able to provide a mix of both traditional wedding shots with many contemporary and avant-garde pieces. I'm so happy Don was able to photograph my wedding and would very highly recommend him to any of my friends and family.

    Recently, my family had the pleasure of attending a wedding where Don and the Norrisphoto team were in charge of photography. AMAZING!! The quality of the pictures they took surpassed anything I have ever experienced at a wedding. They captured faces and expressions that were so candid and so natural that the pictures embodied the very essence of the wedding party as well as those in attendance before, during and after the wedding. I would HIGHLY recommend using them at the next event or even personal family pictures where you need and expect fantastic photography.

    Don and his crew are hands down the BEST photographers I have ever used. We had a good size wedding (160 people) and they were able to capture everything!!! Their talent is astonishing and have an eye for the most beautiful photos. My husband and I just received our digital wedding album and we are speechless, they are stunning! Thank you Norrisphoto for a remarkable job!!!! We HIGHLY recommended this company!

    Don and Rich shot our wedding and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! They were on time, professional, and worked very well with our guests young and old. We received tons of compliments from our friends and family on how awesome they thought our photographers were.

    We met with about 5 photographers before we chose Don. I think it was his flexibility and experience that drew us to him. We took some engagement photos with Don in dtla, which was really fun! Another cool thing we took advantage of was their facebook photobooth, which is an open air automated thing so you are not trying to cram a bunch of people in a box. There are no print outs so there's no waiting for your photos, instead they are uploaded to facebook in 24 hours, which is what you were going to do with the printouts anyway amirite? We even brought our own props so that more goofiness could be captured :)

    By far one of the best vendors on our wedding list.

    We do not have enough good things to say about Donald Norris and his team. He is so much more than a photographer - he is an incredibly talented artist and a professional. He has such an understanding of light and an eye for backgrounds and poses that look great on film. Don is also just so much fun to work with! We had such a good time at our downtown Los Angeles engagement shoot. He has great knowledge of different areas and backgrounds in the city. One of the things that we appreciated most was that Don completely understood what vibe we were going for and steered us towards downtown. He understood that we would have been much more limited at other locations we suggested and it would not have been nearly as intimate. By the end of the shoot, we knew that we could completely trust Don to listen to what we wanted and give us the best way to make it happen. At the wedding, Don and his assistant were in top form. They were both so great at putting everyone at ease. I can't count the number of guests that made a comment about how nice/professional Don and his assistant are. Don also provided a great photo booth at the wedding. Instead of print outs, all of the photos are immediately (and I mean THAT NIGHT) posted to facebook. We had such a good time looking through them the next morning and reliving the night and seeing how much fun our guests were having. We got so much positive feedback from our guests, who were tagging each other and commenting on the photos for weeks. When we got our professional photos back, there were so many that we loved it was next to impossible to narrow them down! After weeks of trying, we finally got it down to 75, which we submitted to Don's lovely fiancee (who is also his talented graphic designer) to create our book. In short, I would 1000 percent recommend Don as a wedding photographer. It was the one thing that we get to take with us and keep always, and I'm very thankful that we entrusted Don to capture our most precious day.

    Wow, this guy is fantastic! It seems like just about anyone can take a pretty picture these days but Don's work is truly ART! He came highly recommended by our wedding coordinator and when we compared the work on his website to other photographers, there was no contest. He creates stunning photos with an edgy, creative flair....truly beautiful! Don was very flexible about how, where and when to do our engagement shoot. He made us very relaxed for the shoot and we had such a wonderful time together! My groom and I had been nervous about how we would do for the shoot because we are a bit reserved about PDA but our pictures look like a total, gorgeous lovefest! Also, Don was so much fun to work with at the wedding and really went with the flow! We told him that we wanted to enjoy our ceremony and reception, and didn't want to worry about posing all of the time. He honored our request and was unobtrusive, while still getting everything we wanted and more. Our guests raved about him! Oh - and we got a photobooth from Don...not the old school kind but one that puts the pics online the next day. The guests LOVED it!!! The pictures are hilarious and beautiful. It really kept the party going long after the ceremony was over. Overall, Don was fabulous and his work is genius. I would use him again and again for any event!

    We just came home from seeing our wedding photos and to say we are overwhelmed with happiness is an understatement. We knew photography was one area of our wedding that was critically important to us, and selecting a photographer was difficult because everyone puts out their best work for the consult. We chose Don because he was very easy to work with and seemed to really listen to what we told him about our wedding, our families and our wedding party. The day of the wedding he was a consummate professional, completely unintrusive but seemed to be everywhere we were, taking photos and capturing moments. We never had to send our coordinator to track him down because he somehow knew where to be and when to be there at all times. Many of our guests commented on Don's friendliness and good energy! But, we knew the real test would be the wedding photos themselves. And they are amazing (I know that word is overused but it is really true). We cried all over again when we saw them - his photos are little works of art. We can't say enough good things about him and would hire him again in a minute.

    Don was great. He worked the rehearsal dinner and the wedding. He spent a lot of time with us and was very animated. I would definitely recommend Don to anyone looking for a photographer.

    I wish I had a more unique way to explain how amazing my experience with Don was. From the moment my fiancé and I met him, we knew he was different from the rest. He was the opposite of the generic photographer. Don was flexible and easy to talk to. After booking him, we started discussing my vision of the engagement shoot. He loved my desert shoot idea and helped me come up with location and attire. We ended up doing the shoot around Palmdale, CA. Don was excited, focused, and ready to capture something cool. although it ended up being the coldest day of the year with about 30mph winds, he spent time looking for the perfect spots, poses, outfit changes, and was still excited to shoot more.
    After getting back our pictures from that day, i was even more excited and confident that i chose the best photographer to capture our wedding day.

    Wedding day rolls around and Don is there ready to do his thing. He was patient and artsy, while keeping a smile on his face throughout the whole day. My bridal party constantly came up to me throughout the night telling me how amazing he is and how much they loved him! I watched videos my friend's sent me and all I saw was Don clicking away capturing every single moment! Don and his team made a lasting impression on my guests that night and I can't stress enough how amazing our experience was with him.

    Donald Norris has a beautiful style - he was able to capture every moment somehow as if there was more than one of him - He is very personable and makes sure you are comfortable and having fun which comes across in the pictures. We are more than thrilled with our picture!!! His pricing is very reasonable compared to many of the other photographers we look at. You will not be disappointed if you hire Don :)

    Don was great! You can definitely find a photographer for cheaper, but this is not a part of your wedding that you want to skimp out on. He made us feel comfortable and had fun with us. We had our engagement session and wedding done with him. During the wedding it seemed like every time we turned around he was there taking pictures. Highly recommended

    Don takes amazing pictures! He is artistic, but understands that no all the photos can/ need to be that way. Great guy and easy to work with!

    Don is an incredible photographer. He met us multiple times before the wedding to find out exactly what we wanted. On the day of, he was a pleasure to be around. He kept both of our families at ease and captured the true spirit of our day, not just the typical "stock photo" shots. And we got all of our prints within a month of our wedding! The photos were gorgeous, and Don even made us a DVD slide show to share with family and friends. He is definitely number one in my book.
