I can not say enough good things about Nellie's catering. They are much more than just a caterer. They plan your whole day and make sure that nothing is looked over or left out. The presentation and the food was excellent! Loren Massie, our catering manager was awesome! She made sure everything we requested was taken care of. We truely had a very relaxing wedding day and were able to enjoy every moment of it.

They've mastered the primary role of a caterer; great food, but also provide a level of service that exceeds what you expect. They're caterer and event planner in one. Trisha, our primary contact, had great ideas of her own in addition to executing ours. Even the details we didn't discuss (for example the cake knife, which they decorated beautifully) was well executed. There was always someone nearby if you needed something, but they weren't overly present. Our guests commented how courteous and thoughtful the servers were as well as how much they enjoyed dinner (grouper or teriyaki chicken.) The day was truly flawless and I'm so glad I went with Nellie's. I'd also recommend Trish Richards from Nellie's to do your flowers!

Our wedding would not be a success if it wasn't for Nellie's Catering. The food was amazing!! And the amount of detail that Loren, Nina & Fredda put into the planning process is far beyond any caterer is required to. They actually care about your event and do everything in their power to make it a success. Loren even delivered us lunch while we were getting ready. I am forever in Nellie's debt for making our event a wedding to remember! Love you guys!!

Trisha, Greta, and Nina were all very helpful. Trisha was the catering manager and she did absolutely everything to make you feel at ease. I loved how from the first meeting you knew she knows her stuff. They offer a day of wedding coordinater for a phenomenal price. I highly recommend it. Her name was Greta and she is very detailed and the absolute sweetest woman I've ever met. The food was great and I was able to have an open bar on a smaller budget. They were so flexible and really catered to me on my big day. They have a prop room as well where you can use some of their decor and helped with any questions I had even if it had nothing to do with catering. There are no words that express my gratitude for all the things they've done for us.

Nellie's was wonderful! I was thoroughly impressed with everyone i worked with from Nellies. I had a very casual beach themed wedding, which included a very simple beach picnic themed menu. Nellie's created all of my centerpieces and truly transformed their event room into a great reception area. The food was fantastic and I can't say enough about how wonderful their staff was.

Fredda, Nina, Cheryl, Trisha, Words cannot begin to express the thankfulness and gratitude we feel for all of the exceptional, extraordinary effort and kindness you put forth to make Bonnie's and Justin's wedding weekend as near to perfection as possible. From our initial interactions with Nina, to the most awesome taste-testing event, to the wonderful advice for food choices to put the menus together for the rehearsal dinner, wedding reception and farewell brunch, and for all the support and professionalism of all of Nellie's staff, you are truly in a class of your own!

Part of my work responsibilities is event planning for faculty conferences/ events here at the Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University. I have to admit that it was very difficult for me to actually be the "customer" for a change--not being in charge and having to rely on your expertise. You are not only true professionals in every aspect, you bring your heart and soul to your clients, we are proof of that. What you did for us for the rehearsal dinner was a prime example of how you went the extra mile to do whatever it took to make us (especially Bonnie) so happy by executing Plan B within a very short range of time. What you did for us was exemplary, and we are so grateful to all of you. I had so many comments the whole weekend on how wonderful all the food was so all of the choices were excellent! The whole wedding day was magical, and thanks to you and you staff, you helped make Bonnie's dream come true.

We plan to come back to Siesta Key for Bonnie's and Justin's first anniversary. I am already thinking of having a catered dinner, and I will definitely get in touch with you when this transpires.

I worked with Nellie's Catering in Sarasota from NJ. I loved my catering coordinator, Nina. She was excellent! Her and her team were very responsive with every question and concern that I had. I had a clear vision of what I wanted and expected and they were very patient and willing to work with me.

I feel that not only is Nellie's a catering company, but a wedding planner as well. They go above and beyond the realm of catering, including printing name cards, menu's, offering "props" at no cost.... The list goes on and on.

Nellie's did our catering for our wedding a few weeks ago. They are AMAZING! They are great people and excellent quality. They are completely professional and take care of everything so you are not worrying about forgetting anything! Their food is delicious and they have great ideas based around your taste! Nellie's Catering not only provided the food for my wedding, but wedding planning services as well. They were great to work with - so flexible and accommodating. They offered suggestions for things I never would have thought of. The food was delish and the staff was amazing. I knew it would be a success when I chose them and they didn't disappoint.

Having Nellie's cater our wedding was the best decision! They truly captured our vision. The food was FANTASTIC!!! For the main meal, we wanted southern food along the lines of a shrimp boil, and Nellie's delivered! Best collard greens we have EVER had!
They also provided a super detailed timeline of the wedding day which enabled everything to run smoothly and without confusion.
As well, they have a room full of decorations which helped saved us money on centerpieces etc.

Fredda(owner) & Trish, our catering manager could not have been more professional, efficient & attentive. Even during an unfortunate event in Trish's family, she attended our wedding and saw to it that everything was absolutely divine. Fredda was amazing in that she made us feel like family and that all had to be perfect. Wonderful individuals, exceptional food and display. Could not have asked for any more.

The Nellie's team did an AMAZING job on my wedding, I was extremely impressed. They helped me every step of the way in my wedding planning and made my wedding day perfect, I did not have to worry about a thing. For example, we realized last minute that the tuxedo rental company did not put in the best man's pants and the Nellie's team was able to provide black pants for him and it worked out perfectly. The food was excellent, as was the service and the decor that they provided. Nellie's absolutely exceeded my expectations!

We used nellies because they were a familiar entity. I was impressed with Cheryl who was the captain of our reception. She helped guide me through decisions I could not have made without her! The staff is the best. It was nice to have an agenda as well that lead everyone throughout the day. The food was good and the staff was super awesome! I would do it all over again!!

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Nellie's catering our wedding. VALUE and PROFESSIONALISM top the list.
From my first call with them in the exploration phase to the very last moment of the reception they were warm, helpful and professional. Lauren, our catering manager, was incredibly responsive at every turn, and I can honestly say by my big day she felt like a friend. She returned every call promptly and had very helpful ideas and advice---often proactively suggesting budget savers--HUGE in my book.
Our guests could not stop talking about the food, and the tiny bit I tasted was wonderful. They were patient with my as I scheduled two tastings to make sure we found what we liked---I would recommend having an idea of what you want prior to the tasting as they will work to create what you want even outside the menu they offer. We had two tastings as I wanted to try a non-stuffed chicken--I was infinitely happy with chicken piccata we tried in the second round. Off menu they created a beautiful raw bar and artisan cheese plate for the cocktail hour that received great reviews from our guests.
The two greatest value adds they offer with catering, which I'm certain you will get no where else, are day of planning and access to their extensive prop room. Fredda, the owner, was our planner and was as organized and together as anyone I've ever worked with. We had a series of meetings and conference calls (this was a destination wedding) with her to lay out every moment of the day before and day of. She thought of things I would never have occurred to me and ensured the day went perfectly.
The prop room is filled with vases, frames, bows, flowers, candle holders, baskets, center pieces, etc which you can use at no additional cost. The entire staff seemed to be as excited as me as we began pulling items and creating a beautiful decor--and at no extra cost!
Needless to say, I believe that Nellie's was an integral part of preparing for and executing a flawless day and I would recommend them to any bride looking for the same.

Fredda and Laren were so amazing to work with. We didn't have to worry about one single detail on our wedding day. It was so nice to know that everything was taken care of on our special day. It was like having a personal assisntant too. Fredda did everything from fluffing my dress, to brining us drinks to pinning the flowers on the men. Not to mention, the FOOD was SOOOO YUMMY! I would definetly recommend Nellie's Catering to anyone who want's a pleasurable experience on their wedding day! It was worth every penny!
