Amazing service and selection

After visiting a different bridal store for our daughter's wedding dress, I was referred to Natalie M and couldn't be happier with the experience. The store runs by appointment only and they are there to make sure you get the most amazing experience possible. Lisa, the owner, listens to the wishes of the bride and then helps her find the dress of her dreams. The selection was fantastic. In our situation, we were in a time crunch and were actually able to walk out with her dress! I would recommend Natalie M. to any bride looking to find the dress of her dreams.

Excellent and personalized service from start to finish!

I had a very quick turnaround from engagement to wedding day, and Lisa at Natalie M. helped me find the perfect wardrobe in record time! My bridal appointment was highly personalized, with a dedicated stylist pulling options that fit my budget and vision until I found the perfect gown. For bridesmaids and my flower girls, I picked a color and fabric and they got to choose their own style to order- made to measure!- for the big day. They also do suit, tuxedo, and shoe rentals, so my groom and groomsmen were measured and fitted in store. Everyone had plenty of time for alterations and re-orders as needed. Doing everything all in one place made things so easy and the staff was so sweet and attentive through the entire process. I will recommend Natalie M. to anyone and everyone who’s looking for top-notch style and service.

My daughter bought her wedding gown and I bought my mother of the bride dress at Natalie M.
Great selection and knowledgeable staff. My daughter also bought all of her prom dress at Natalie M. I recommend this store to all my friends and family.

Great Experience for our entire party!

My daughter found her dream dress at Natalie M. and we could not have been happier! We also selected bridesmaids dresses, the flower girl dress and my dress all from Natalie M. The service was wonderful and they really listened to our needs regarding budget, styling and delivery timeframe. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful experience overall. I highly recommend this shop as your first stop!

I usually don't write reviews, but I had to take the time to do so today. I affected by the Alfred Angelo fiasco. I ordered my dress through Natalie M Bridal, and unfortunately my dress DID NOT arrive in time for me to pack it for my trip to Virgina. MYRA was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I walked in to the store she had every navy dress pulled for me. I found one, she had her seamstress there, Libby who is also AMAZING. I found a dress and will have it in hand to board my plane in the morning. She offered my money back also to send the other dress overnight. I am absolutely grateful for the whole team, this was no way their fault, but they stepped up and handled this amazingly. THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS! YOU ROCK

This is the best dress place ever! Everyone is so helpful, nice and genuinely care. After being in there several times I never had a bad experience with any of the staff from. Everyone from Myra to Hannah was very accommodating and they just acted so proud to be part of this special day.

Natalie M. was the first place I went to shop for my dress and I ended up buying the first dress I tried on. I knew the style of dress I wanted and the price that I wanted to pay and they had the perfect one. There was some fraying in the bottom of the lace and some gems missing from the dress, but they told me the tailor to take it to and they took care of it free of charge. I even went in without an appointment and still received the best help from the staff. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Natalie M was fabulous! The staff was very efficient and accommodating! I bought my wedding dress there and all my bridesmaids got there dresses there as well. Myra was great!!! She is very friendly and helpful. Our dresses were beautiful and everyone got the right sizes and color of dresses that were ordered. I also got my dress at a great price! Natalie M. is the best place in Kansas City to find THE dress! The personal assistant each bride gets is so helpful and my friends and family got a table to themselves to watch me try on. They even gave us a champagne toast when I said yes to the dress! The staff is professional and kind and I will refer all my friends here! Thanks, Natalie M.!

I would like to say, I was astounded with the service and kindness I was shown at Natalie M's Bridal. I had a party of 8 with me to find my wedding dress. We had gone to David's Bridal that morning and when I tried on dresses, my party had to stand and sit on the floor. We went to Natalie M's that afternoon. I called Natalie M's and asked if we could come in early since we were ahead of schedule and they were glad to have us! When I arrived I was greeted quickly and Whitney (an absolutely amazing bridal associate) helped me to look at dresses and we quickly began trying them on. No waiting around! My bridal party was seated at a table and had chairs. The fitting rooms were very roomy unlike David's Bridals cramped space. Whitney was very helpful, worked well to find the dress to fit my style, and gave me all her focus to find my dress. There was a step that I stood on with three mirrors to look at my dress so it was just like the bridal shows on TV. We weren't standing side by side to another bride trying to share a mirror like Davids Bridal. The prices were excellent! My bridal party loved Natalie's too! When I paid for the dress, I received a $100 credit for a Vail so my Vail was free with my dress. Natalie came into the store that day and was very friendly with us and made us feel like family. Everyone in the store made us feel like family! She even gave me a penny to put in my shoe for good luck and by the end of the day we were giving hugs! My experience was exceptional and I am beyond pleased with my experience at Natalie M's! I suggest that everyone near Kansas City who is getting married or going to prom to stop by Natalie M's first! I don't know how anyone wouldn't leave feeling like family and astounded by the service!

Everyone was wonderful!! Fast, friendly and felt like family. They were patient and didn't rush me out of the dress. Very knowledgeable about customization options. I never felt pressured to buy the entire time. I love working with my consultant and they all seem to genuinely care about their brides. Natalie is so sweet and her well wishes felt great! I have been to lots of other bridal shops and this one was by far the best when it comes to service, price, honesty and being accommodating! They truly care about their brides and want to help us. I felt all the brides in store that I saw got that same red carpet treatment!

Lisa was a huge help and she really listened to what I wanted. She asked about my venue, my budget and what I liked and didn't like about each gown. I fell in love with two and needed to sleep on it. By morning, I knew and I called in and ordered my gown over the phone. Everything arrived on time and I ended up getting shoes, a veil and jewelry and still came in under budget.

I have been working with Myra to book 3 bridesmaids that are out of town, she has been so wonderful to help me keep on task to make sure they are done properly. I would recommend working with them simple for their top notch customer service. I am not able to discuss value as I have not paid for any dresses myself.

We had a unique situation shopping with a blended family and a tight budget. We were so happy to find "the dress" at under our budget. The bridesmaids,flowergirl and both moms ended up getting dresses as well. The entire bridal party looked amazing and we were all very pleased with the service.

Myra, Kirstyn,& the staff was really great!
I came in for a trunk show not expecting to buy a dress just trying to get a better idea of what I was looking for and I got wrapped up in the moment and bought a dress. I went home that night and realized that was not my dress and was devastated because I thought it was a final sale. I called and talked to Myra about how I was feeling and she was so great about reaching out to the vendor and working with me to find the dress. She had a number of dresses sent in from the Alfred Angelo line and I found the dress. Now I am just waiting to get it in, which should be really soon since Myra had my order expedited I should be getting it the beginning of March and I can't wait!

We worked with kyrsten at the store on 126 and metcalf. I tried on a few dresses with her, loved them, went to another appointment, and returned to buy my dress from her because she was phenomenal. So caring, positive, and professional and really made me feel like a princess. I wouldn't recommend anywhere or anyone else. Thank you!

This shop was so easy to work with. They have a wide variety of sizes, which was important to a plus size bride like myself. They have a beautiful selection to choose from and were always SO helpful when I was in there.

Natalie M was one of the first shops that I visited because they had evening hours. Yay for that! I didn't find 'the dress' on the 1st trip. After I had been to several shops and not found a dress, I went back to Natalie M since I had completely redefined what I was looking for. lol. I knew they had a GREAT wall of discontinued dresses so I wanted to take a 2nd pass through. There it was! The gal helping us, Rosie (?), was so sweet. Got out some sparkling grape juice to celebrate our find! It was a LONG day of shopping and we were SO relieved! I took it with me that day since it was a sample dress. I brought it back and they steamed it the day before my wedding. I had great customer service each time I contacted them. Thank you, ladies!

One stop shop!

I found my dream dress and all of my bridesmaids dresses at Natalie M! They were so helpful, accommodating and made sure everything was absolutely perfect. This was not only the first place I shopped, but the only place I had to shop. Highly recommend!

Months before her wedding, our out of state daughter found a dress that she wanted to order for her bridesmaids. I visited with Natalie M's employees and they were very helpful in assisting with the coordination of getting the bridesmaid's measurements so that the dresses could be ordered in a timely manner. Only one of the dresses needed adjustment, so their help apparently worked well! Thanks.

The ladies at Natalie M were helpful and considerate. They helped me select the perfect dress and provided wonderful service even after I had purchased the dress. I originally went in to try on a specific dress, it did not look good at all! I was kind of bummed, and upon trying others on, I mentioned to my consultant, Ann that I was getting married on the 4th of July, it was coming up soon. She grabbed a couple samples in my size and told me one did not have my colors, but to try it on and see what I thought. I was able to buy this dress off the rack at a discount and to my surprise it fit me perfectly! I did not have to have any alterations and the color mixed in well. It was THE dress. I had an awesome experience as a bride. I also had a good experience as a bridesmaid and went upon recommendations from that when my friend got married, they did well with her, too! I was happy with the outcome for wedding!

I had overall good experience with picking out my dress. But they weren't helpful when I tried to take the dress in to steam before the wedding day. We called one month before, they told us to bring the dress in the day before the wedding. When we brought it in, they said they can't do it that day. Anyway, they made it happened that day. But they could be more responsible about their words.

I ordered my bridesmaid’s Alfred Angelo dresses through this shop. I had a couple of the dresses going to out of town bridesmaids and they were very willing to collect the girls measurements (they got measured where they each live), place the order and ship the ones that needed to go out of town once they arrived. All of these things did happen and in time for the wedding but it was a bit of a stressful process at the end. I had to call several times to clear up some miscommunications in payments, addresses etc. It was a little frustrating to have to deal with. The one thing I can speak highly of is the seamstress they recommended by my Maid of Honor’s alterations. Rosa was super fast and did excellent work.

As I said the dresses and accessories did come in on time and make it to each of my bridesmaids. The Alfred Angelo dresses were lovely. However after the great and hassle free service I received at David’s Bridal, I wish I could have found my bridesmaid’s dresses there.

I ordered my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses from Natalie M's. They charged us an extra $60 each to super rush the dresses. My came in very soon, but the bridesmaids dresses took 8 weeks. We asked the owner to refund the $60 because they made an error and didnt rush them, but she refused. The customer service was horrible and the dresses came in the week of the wedding. We ended up having to pay extra for alterations.

By far the worst wedding shopping experience

I've been to two other boutiques that were attentive, made me feel confident like a princess, but at Natalie M's I felt like garbage! If you need a dress for your little girl's beauty pageant or prom dress I'm sure Natalie M is incredible. For bridal? It was a hard miss for me. The biggest turn off for me was the way I was treated. In spite of me being the bride and the one paying for the dress all she wanted to do was address my mother who was with me and always addressed me as a third person like I wasn't there. She was not in tune to my feelings for a dress at all, not once did she ask ME how I liked a dress, she'd only talk about the dress to my mom. I voiced my opinion on dresses and I also came with pictures of dresses for inspiration, she maybe had two that were similar and had a random dress she recommended that she thought I'd love--which looked NOTHING like what I said I liked. I know she does custom work, but if someone is missing the mark this badly I would NOT trust them to do custom work for me. Also, not a good place if you are self conscious about your weight. I'm not by any means a large person but even I got my self esteem hurt a bit when the only dress sizes she'd let me try on were way too small to even zip up all the way. This was way different from the other boutiques I've visited where their stock dresses are big--to better fit all shapes and sizes--and they just clip the back of the dress to temporarily fit you. Also very surprised there was no offer to help me in and out of the dresses other than to zip up the back. I would think for a liability stand point you'd not want your client risk tripping and falling or accidentally ruining the dress. There's plenty of other custom bridal boutiques in Johnson County that offer way better service and don't treat you like an object.

I went to Natalie M for my bridesmaids dresses. We had an appointment and everything went well. A sales associate measured all 3 girls before we placed our order. It took a little over 2 months to get the dresses in, which wasn't the problem. When we finally did get our dresses... all 3 were too small! The sales associate then told us it requires 2 people to zip up the dresses, they are supposed to be that tight, go braless and just walk around to stretch the dress out...Wow! They took no responsibility for measuring incorrectly which resulted in all 3 dresses to be too small. They also said it was too late to order new dresses in the correct sizes. Natalie M doesn't do alterations, so we had to go somewhere else. Needless to say we are spending even more money on alterations... one dress needs to have a corset back because there isn't enough material to be let out. Natalie M obviously doesn't care about their customers after a purchase is made. I will never go back.

I brought my dad to this store, along with my mom and best friend. My dad has always been a part of my dress shopping experiences my entire life. When I made the appointment weeks ahead of time, I specifically told them my dad was coming. They were very nice and said that would be wonderful. When we got there, they made us wait around and started our appointment 20 minutes late. They were busy with prom appointments as well and made that known to me. My budget was $4000, and I had no issue staying within that when picking out gowns. When I finally found a few I started trying them on, and my family sat on chairs outside of my changing area. Everytime I walked out my dad had moved from the chairs by me, to the front of the store. I was frustrated with him because I felt like he wasn't paying attention and I thought it was going to be a special moment. My best friend then informed me that the manager asked my dad to stand away from my fitting room and at the front of the store, since there were so many girls trying on dresses. I WAS LIVID. I immediately got dressed and we left. Not only did this store know ahead of time that my dad was coming, but before I even looked around they made me wait 20 minutes and could have told me then that my dad wouldn't be able to be by the dressing room with me. I would have gladly left without wasting over an hour of my day. My dad instead was embarrassed and treated like a creepy guy, instead of the amazing father of the bride he was! Ironically I had 14 different ladies who would have been buying dresses from there, so not only did they miss out on my purchase, but also 14 others. I truly hope treating my father like that was worth it. I hope no other bride eve

Terrible service. I ordered a thousand dollar dress that was guaranteed for me in 1 month (because at the time me wedding was 2 months away). After the date that I was expecting my dress I called to check the status and was informed that the dress was not expected to arrive until the Friday before my Sunday wedding. I had to pay for another dress and was never given an apology. A seriously horrible experience.

I specifically mentioned a budget of gowns unders 1000. I try on several and as I found THE ONE, she looked up the price and it was closer to 1500. I was so sad and disappointed. I left the store pretty bummed out. Additionally, the employee helping me should have been the one fluffing out my skirt. My guests shouldn't have to do that because I would think that it is part of selling the dress. .making it look good

This shop tried to bully the bride I was with into buying a dress by making pressure deals. The shop manager was standoffish and wouldn't answer our questions directly. She waited to tell us the "deal" she offered us was only good for the next 15 minutes and waited until the brides mom and grandma had left to break the news.

Service was terrible and the last thing I want is to be pressured into a wedding dress. I would NEVER recommend this place

Treated us like we were not worthy. We were dressed comfortably in sweats/scrubs not high end attire. Had a lot of money to spend but will NEVER return to this store because of how we were treated and will let all of my friends and acquaintances at my daughters private school aware of how we were treated.

I would've given the lady zero stars but the app required me to put at least a half a star. The lady was really perverted kept opening up my changing room while I was getting dressed. She kept touching my boobs one zipper was near my boobs and it was very uncalled for. She kept getting mad at me for no apparent reason. Loudly exclaimed that she didn't think I was able to afford the dress is there and that there were other stores I could go to if I couldn't afford theirs. When matter of fact the dresses that they had seem to use and definitely out of style they were overpriced and broken.
