Brian Jones. Book him. WOW. He is FANTASTIC. Not only is he extremely talented, he is fun, chill, puts you at ease and really vibes with his couples. He was FANTASTIC. My family and friends are still talking about how amazing the flow, music and dancing was. We were looking for a DJ that would work with us since our goal was to prioritize the dance floor, have no awkward down-time, no slow songs, etc. The company worked to recommend two DJ's who matched our vision who would have the dancefloor going ALL NIGHT. We chose Brian. He heard us, saw our vision, and executed. It was such a seamless, easy process. Brian is FANTASTIC and we are sooooo thankful for him!!! 10000/10 recommend. -

We booked MyDeeJay and were paired with DJ Jeff Furnas.
Jeff was extremely responsive and professional throughout the planning process, and did a great job taking our preferences into account while also taking time to listen and care about the special moments - for example, playing a special song for my parents and making a nice announcement during the party. Jeff also helped keep us on schedule during the reception while still allowing us flexibility to enjoy the event. Jeff also coordinated effectively with the planners, event staff, and us leading up to the wedding day, as well as throughout the day and night.

DJ Jeff was AMAZING for our wedding at Whitehall! He truly went above and beyond, especially when our string trio had an issue playing for our ceremony... he saved the day. Jeff brought the energy and was so professional throughout the entire planning process. He kept the dance floor packed all night and took our must plays/do not plays seriously all while mixing in songs that fit the overall vibe. Cannot recommend Jeff and My Deejay enough - would definitely hire again! -

I'm belated in writing this review, but we hired DJ Evan for our Indian/American fusion wedding in September 2024, and we could not have been happier! We're old, (43 and 55 respectively) and we generally don't listen to music that was recorded after 2000 (lol... just about!) and he totally got our vibe and then took it up a notch. Not only that, but he is well versed in Indian popular music and kept it mixed up so well that no one wanted to leave the dance floor! We are so delayed in writing this! Evan was the dj at my best friend’s wedding and we couldn’t get his contact info fast enough when it was our turn to get married. My mom was diagnosed with cancer so we were in a rush to get a wedding date scheduled so she could be there. Luckily, Evan was available. We were trying to get everything done in 4 months and Evan was great- he even recommended a caterer (who we booked and loved). Then Covid happened and we had to delay the wedding by 1.5 years. He was so flexible and understanding. My mom passed 3 days before our reception. Needless to say, it was a bittersweet day.... -

I am so grateful we booked DJ Brian Jones through Mydeejay for our Washington DC wedding. From our first meeting with him, he understood our vision and helped us plan for each part of the day. We reviewed the schedule together and this allowed for a smooth execution of the event. DJ Brian was so well prepared that with the last-minute turnover of my event coordinator, he worked diligently with the venue and other vendors to ensure alignment. Totally put me at ease once he was on the scene. The schedule was followed to a T, and I am so grateful he was there to facilitate.

We recently used MyDeejay to book a DJ for our wedding and it was super straightforward. The booking and matching process through the MyDeejay site is clear and easy, and their pricing and expectations are very transparent up front which I appreciated. Their system is well built and user friendly. Their matching process is also great, because we LOVED the DJ we ended up with!
We worked with DJ Chuck Nunn and he was absolutely phenomenal. We had friends playing pre-ceremony music, and he helped them get set up and navigate the venue. He also handled some on-the-fly requests from the FOB during cocktail hour and was able to play all of the songs that we wanted. He... -

Brian MADE our day. We both love music, but really couldn't bring ourselves to figure out much... Brian helped us curate some "vibes" for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception - and he ultimately helped me find the perfect song for me to walk down the aisle. I know he also helped our wedding coordinator tackle some issues in real time - but to this day, I don't know what those were, which makes him a perfect vendor in my book. Thank you Brian! -

When we started our search for DJ options, one of our top criteria was that there be an inclusive vibe, as this was a Two Groom kind of wedding. When I did a search with that in mind, MyDeeJay had a statement about being open to the LGBTQIA+ community. That made the search quite easy. After filling out the initial form, we were matched with our DJ, DJ Shawn Garrick. After accepting the recommended DJ, Shawn sent us a message to set up an initial Video Visit through Google Meet, which was our first time using it and we were thankful for that as well. Working with MyDeejay made our wedding day stress-free and a party we’ll never forget. From beginning to end, working with DJ Jeff was simple, straightforward, and collaborative. He was quick to respond to inquiries, open to suggestion, and expert at setting up the equipment to fit our venue. He made it clear from the very beginning that we could be as involved or as hands-off in the musical decisions going into all parts of our wedding. We used mydeejay and got matched with DJ Chuck Nunn and had a great experience for our wedding! The communication from both mydeejay and Chuck were very prompt and helpful. We were struggling to pick between 2 first dance songs and Chuck sent us customized shortened versions of both which was really helpful in deciding. He was familiar with our venue which made for a seamless setup. He was very understanding about including and mixing all our song choices and was able to work most, if not all of them in. Chuck kept the energy going all night and we would highly recommend him and mydeejay! -

I would absolutely recommend the MyDeeJay team to anyone who is thinking about having a DJ at their wedding.
From the very beginning of our booking process with the team, everything went smoothly, including getting a quote, checking availability, and finalizing our contract. They assigned us a DJ (DJ Brian Jones) and we got to meet with him over Facetime to discuss our initial plans. As we built up to the wedding, we made some modifications and sent along some sample playlists - this was all very easy.
When our wedding day came, Brian did an amazing job at supporting all the entertainment and A/V needs for our event. The music was great and people did not... -

Evan was the best! He was professional and just fun to work with. He got our vision for music and killed it. We had such a great time dancing with our guests, and he could accommodate their requests while also honoring our wishes (meaning he said no at some point), and we could not appreciate that more! There were no complaints from our guests, only praise about the music (and we have all been to weddings where the music was awful, am I right?), so I know that means he was a win! It made our wedding even more memorable and enjoyable!
His music choices stayed spot-on with our requests and kept the crowd dancing.

DJ Chuck was so easy to work with and our guests raved about him! Multiple people split their pants dancing, and no one wanted to leave the dance floor at the end of the night. We are so thrilled with our experience with Jeff Furnas and MyDeejay! The matching process was smooth and easy, and Jeff was such a delight to work with. He was incredibly helpful throughout the planning process and helped us shape our vision for our wedding. He also did an amazing job with the organizational aspects on the day, including making sure that we had the right AV setup for our ceremony and that we were sticking to our timeline. DJ Chuck was awesome to work with!
The planning form used by MyDeejay made everything very easy from adding songs to our playlist, to filling out the timeline of events. Chuck sat with us and went through everything and was able to make edits on the day of to make sure everything went smoothly. We had a blast and never wanted to leave the dance floor the entire night! We received positive comments about the DJ/music from several of our guests! -

DJ Jeff was great! He was professional, easy going and kind. He made the stressful process of wedding planning easier. His kind and positive attitude, and professionalism really transformed the energy of our wedding and put us all at ease. From the minute he showed up at the venue it felt like “Jeff is here - he’s got this” He mic’d our musician and ceremony, he provided fantastic up-lighting, and he made the dance floor a hit.
