We were very pleased with their service and customer friendliness. Their on-line music selection / planner is very helpful. And they are super responsive to last minute changes. And the cost is very competitive. Especially if you're getting married at Pier V, don't even think twice...

The DJ and music played was excellent, however the timeline was very rushed. I do understand that most wedding receptions seem rushed for the bride, but we didn't even get to sit down at our table and toast with our beautiful champagne glasses. After dinner everything basically went back to back and I didn't get one glass of wine all night! The DJ and Dan Hawkins were all friendly and excellent, but I didn't truly get to enjoy my evening.

We hired Music Masters for an after wedding cocktail party. We liked the online aspect of picking our music, but I left it to my fiancee to fill out the website and of course it didn't get completed in time. No problem, the DJ called us the week before the party to get a better idea of what we wanted. Even though we only had a general idea of what we wanted (and very few picked out songs) he was able to fill in the gaps with songs we didn't even know we wanted, but were perfect. Kamau (sp?) was our DJ and we couldn't have been happier. Everyone kept telling us what a great time they were having. Thanks!

Music Masters did a pretty good job for us. We liked their website where we could put in "Must Play" songs and "Do Not Play" songs, however our DJ didn't play all of our "Must Plays" and he also did not play the song we specifically noted for him to play during our cake cutting. We didnt get to meet him prior to the reception which I didn't love- but he did call us and went through all of the name pronounciations and things like that.

I'm not quite sure what happened with this one. We were told we would meet our DJ and be able to talk to them before the wedding, however 2 weeks before the wedding we still heard nothing. The owner Dan (whom we had met with) ended up Djing our wedding since we were uncomfotable having someone we hadn't met or appoved of do it. He is a great speaker and we were very happy with that aspect, pronounced all of our names the right way. I was a little disappointed that only about 2 of our songs were played. We had also said we don't like rap music, however if people request it, keep it to a minimum....unfortunatley thats pretty much what was played all night.
Overall though for the price I can't complain - He showed up early and made sure the crowd had fun.

Dan Hawkins did a great job at our wedding. He had DJed my sisters wedding a year and half before, and he was awesome at keeping everyone on the dance floor all night. We didn't have a ton of specific songs we wanted to hear, which worked great because he can guage the feel of the crowd and pick songs based on what he thinks the guests want to hear. He is not cheesey at all, and is a good speaker when introducing the toasts and keeping the reception moving. I highly recommend Dan!

Dan was extremely professional and worked with us to find the right feel for our wedding. He honored all of my requests and was very helpful in guiding the event so that I really didn't have to worry about anything. It is obvious that he has been doing this for a long time and knows what he is doing - thanks for keeping everyone on the dance floor and making it "our" wedding, not just "another wedding!"

MusicMasters was great! They were by far the best value for the price. Some of the other DJs I looked into were almost twice the cost for the exact same service. They have a great online event planner where you can write out all the details for your ceremony and/or reception and you can also browse their music library to make your play (or DO NOT play) list. I finalized all the details with my actual DJ and everything went off without a hitch! He was a great DJ, played the songs we requested, and kept the music going all night! He did a great job of emceeing the reception for us as well, which made the night flow well. I did most of my communication with Dan Hawkins, who was great to work with and very responsive! Our actual DJ was Joe Clark, and he did a wonderful job! I highly recommend them!

The owners were very friendly and helpful. They told us the DJ would be in touch with us shortly after we submitted our online information form and music request (lengthy process). The DJ didn't call right away and when he did, he asked many of the same questions we'd already answered online. We didn't meet him until the wedding day and he was friendly and seemed prepared. The ceremony music went well, and I hear that's the trickiest part for the DJ. He did delay the announcement of the wedding party portion of the reception, he seemed a bit disorganized about that. But overall, he was professional and interactive and did a great job.

Music Masters good. We loved that we had a page that we can log onto & put all of our songs we wanted, etc. We had a list of MUST PLAY songs, but the DJ didn't play a lot of them & we had specific reasons why we wanted them played. After we got back from our honeymoon, we email them asking why, their explanation was that the DJ was going off the feel of our guests. Yes he did play alot of good music & people were dance & having a great time, but we wished that they would have honored our request to play those certain songs. They did play the traditional songs we requested though (eg - first dance, mother/son, etc)

I gave him very little direction and I think there was only 1 song all night that I was like why is this being played. They also let you choose songs that you want to here so if you were more dedicated than me you could pick every song for the whole night. I would definitely use them again.

Dan Hwkins was the BEST DJ we could have asked for!! No one was off the dance floor all night and guests were begging for Dan to Dj an extra hour! He was AMAZING...No one was bored! Everyone was dancing all night long!!
