World's Best Wedding DJ!

Scott was the perfect DJ for our wedding! His equipment fit perfectly in our venue, and there were no visible or audible technical mishaps. He tailored the set perfectly to our tastes while expertly managing the energy of the reception. A natural showman, he provided much-needed instruction during a fun synchronized dance. Scott coordinated perfectly with the photographer, videographer, and event coordinator and provided tasteful uplighting to help set the mood. Scott helped give us the wedding of our dreams, and we can't thank him enough!

Our Fearless Leader!

It was such a joy having Scott as a part of our wedding team. He is incredibly experienced and gave us guidance not just through music selections but the wedding day as a whole. Scott understands weddings - he thinks about the guest experience and absolutely knows how to help achieve a wonderful day. We came to him needing a lot of help and he really pulled through for us. He effectively ran our wedding rehearsal (and wedding day). He gave meaningful help to our officiant, helped direct venue staff, ironed out the schedule and so much more I'm probably not even aware of!

Interfacing with him was seamless, he's quick with texts and emails and also has a useful user portal. I provided him with several Spotify playlists and he really wove some magic! I might be biased... but that was my favorite wedding dance floor EVER!

By far the best Dj!!!!

Scott is amazing! We are so glad we chose him for our special day. The second we met Scott we knew he was the one we wanted for our wedding. He is so knowledgeable and helpful when it came to putting our likes, ideas, and timeline all together. Everything went to smooth and you can tell he really cared about us and making the day perfect. The guest loved the mix of music and everyone was up dancing and having a great time. I would highly recommend Muir music and Scott for anyone having a wedding , birthday party or any event. Will definitely be using Scott again! Thank for the perfect day!!!!

Scott was a rockstar DJ throughout all of our wedding festivities! He brought an unparalleled energy that was infectious to all of our guests. Scott will AMPLIFY your wedding!

Scott was such a great choice for our wedding DJ. He helped us know what all we needed to prep and provide him with for the music throughout our whole day. He also offered to come up with playlists, etc. but we are big music people, so we wanted to choose the music for each part of our day. But he played and coordinated everything so well. He helped the wedding day flow smoothly from one part to the next – from the ceremony to cocktail hour while we were taking photos to the reception. And his hosting of our reception was warm and professional and fun. He perfectly helped move everything along, and once we were all on the dance floor – he really knew how to keep the party going and we loved the ambience and mood he brought to the whole event. Scott is such a pro and it was so fun to have him be a part of our big day. He really helped everything come together and flow smoothly all day and night. Thanks Scott!

Amazing experience

We had an amazing wedding, and it's in big part to Scott. He not only helped create the atmosphere we were going for, but was so helpful and knowledgeable in helping us create and organize our timeline. He truly went above and beyond for us- assisting at our rehearsal, being flexible with the music requests, and having a rocking dance floor. We would recommend him 100 times over!

Pick Scott if you want your dance floor full the whole night!

You don't need to look any further than Muir Music for your wedding DJ!! Scott was simply the best and we've received endless compliments from family and guests about how great he was at our wedding. Dancing the night away was very important to us on our wedding day and Scott delivered! The fact that half of our guests were exhausted and sore the next day from their time on the dance floor speaks volumes, he kept the floor filled all night. Not only did he take such care and consideration into the music for each part of our wedding, he was so communicative and had great advice about song selections and even our timeline! Scott is very professional and coordinated well with our other vendors to help our wedding day run as smoothly as possible. We're very grateful to have found him and cannot recommend him enough!

We really enjoyed working with Scott, in the whirlwind of planning a wedding there are always little details that can get overlooked, Scott was a big help with these things. He had great suggestions for our ceremony as well as reception, was always easy to get ahold of, and helped steer us in the right direction for things we weren’t sure about. Great DJ and MC!

Scott was amazing from day one! Easy to get ahold of, very responsive, easy to work with, and super flexible. Scott uses a software that is super user friendly and he helped walk us through some of the decisions we needed to make for songs and timeline. This all made the day of run seamlessly and we cannot thank him enough. We ended up having some rain on the day of the wedding, we were supposed to have our dance floor outdoors, but Scott very quickly switched gears and was able to move us inside and make it work! It felt like it was planned that way from the start. We gave Scott a general idea of the music we liked and he took it from there. We had the dance floor full all night. My maid of honor said it was some of the best music she ever heard at a wedding. Pick Scott, he went above and beyond for us and I'm sure he will do the same for you!

Fun and engaging DJ!

Scott went above and beyond as a DJ on our wedding day! He helped with lighting up our bar, hanging a neon sign, and numerous other day of jobs that could not have been handled without his help and insight! Muir Music is a must

Scott and his team at Muir Music were incredible at our wedding! Scott is extremely thorough and was a huge help to creating our timeline and ceremony/reception flow. Scott really helped us pick out specific music best for our ceremony and reception vision. He was organized and a fun MC all night! We also had the pleasure of hiring his wife Lisa Muir as our wedding coordinator (Live and Love Events) and they were a fantastic team. I hear a lot of people talk about how stressful it can be to coordinate vendors working together but Scott and Lisa took care of everything seamlessly!

Great DJ for a fun atmosphere

We were so happy we chose Muir Music as our DJ. We had compared him with another DJ in the area that had similar pricing. We decided to go with Muir Music because he offered a more personalized experience. He came to our wedding rehearsal (which the other company said they don't do). This was really helpful as he was able to connect with our coordinator and help plan out the day more smoothly. He explained to us how he was going to set up at the ceremony site and the reception. He kept the party going as everyone had a blast on the dance floor!

Scott is the MAN!

Scott came highly recommended by the Madonna Inn in the early stages of our Wedding planning, and right from the get-go he was super excited and helpful when it came to preparing for our big day! He gave us full control of what songs we wanted for our Ceremony and Reception and threw in some similar tunes of his choice in which went perfectly. He worked with us on our Timeline and had so much insight to guide us through the process! He was great at communicating via email, 3-way calls and we even met with him the day before to go over/fine-tune details. We loved his kind demure, his enthusiasm radiated and our families LOVED him! He did such an amazing job throughout the Reception keeping the party going and adding a lot of fun humor in the mix. He was extremely knowledgeable & we would highly recommend him to everyone - Scott is "The Man"!

Scott is the BEST

We planned our wedding in SLO from out of state so needed more communication than the typical engaged couple and were absolutely thrilled we found Scott. Scott was always willing to take extra time for us and was extremely organized and professional along the way. He worked with us to put together all of the music we wanted at our cocktail hour and reception, and made sure the songs we wanted played at our event. He was also really great at amping up the crowd along the way. Would highly recommend Scott to any brides looking for a FANTASTIC music experience and a talented and professional DJ.

Excellent DJ!

Scott did an AMAZING job as the DJ at our wedding! After we hired him, he was very responsive and available with any questions we had. He also drove like 20+ miles twice to meet with us in person for planning before the wedding. He was extremely professional before and during our event, and did everything that we asked him to do and more. He kept the party and dance floor going throughout the whole night, and guests have complimented us after the wedding, saying what a great job he did. Great DJ, but more than that

We hired Scott to take care of the sound system and DJ our daughters wedding. He was eager to please, met with us multiple times, listened to what we requested, and on the day of the event did a great job of keeping the music going and paying attention to other details that he could help with which made our day run that much more smoothly. Seriously the best!!

If you guys are looking for a DJ that keeps the music flowing, is professional, and has most of your guests raving about the music and how much fun they had on the dance floor then Scott is your guy!! When I contacted Scott I told him that the music was one of the most important aspects to me for the wedding and how I wanted our guests ( even the ones that don't dance) to feel the urge to get on the dance floor. Scott definitely did not disappoint with the delivery of the music and execution of our wedding timeline making specific announcements. If you're someone like me who was feeling a little overwhelmed with the whole wedding planning, then I'd choose Scott because he made this portion for me so seamless and stress free. :)

The Perfect DJ Experience

Scott was absolutely amazing. Not only his he approachable and charismatic he is also very organized and knowledgeable. I worked in Sound in the film industry for 10 years and so sound was a huge concern of mine. Scott answered all of my technical questions and showed me that he really knew his stuff. He was extremely communicative and would reply to emails, calls, and texts almost instantly. He gave us advice on the location, where he had worked before and gave us a great deal on lights for the reception. This was huge as his lighting package was a better value than that of the venue or other lighting specific vendors. Scott worked with our stream crew to make sure they had clean mic audio for the ceremony and speeches. His work as the MC was great and got the crowd fired up. He also guided the musical flow of the evening perfectly, catering to our wishes, and also improvising when needed. All in all our event sounded amazing. We had no guests complain about not being able to hear, and also the recording of our live stream had perfect audio through out! Scott is the man and I will definitely use him for any event we have moving forward. It was truly amazing to not worry about sound issues and know that Scott had our back! Thank you, Scott for making our special day that much more special!!

A Must-Hire!

Hiring Scott at Muir Music was an easy decision. First, he is very responsive and quick to try to get to know the couple he is working with. My husband and I really felt comfortable with him after the first phone conversation. He just knows so much about weddings and really helped guide us in the right direction (as we really had no clue what we were doing at first in regards to the planning, timeline, reception, etc). The thing with Scott is that you really get so much more than just a DJ. I recall at my reception watching him help fill water glasses for guests as well as making sure my husband and I were getting everything we need (i.e food, drinks, etc). He is not just a great DJ, but a wonderful person as well. You will not be disappointed with Muir Music!

We discovered Scott through our wedding planner, his wife, Lisa. We were ABSOLUTELY blown away by his experience, professionalism, awesome personality, passion for music, and ability to EXECUTE! I had a very specific vision in mind for the music for my ceremony (and reception), and was prepared to let that go, as I knew it would be difficult for it to go perfectly. But our wedding day went absolutely perfectly. Scott put in the hours to make our ceremony perfect, and we are so incredibly grateful that we had him there. He elevated our day and made it so much better, instead of "just being there" and just playing a generic playlist, etc. BOOK HIM RIGHT NOW if you're smart. Best DJ in Town

Scott was exceptional! We had seen him DJ before at Firefighter Balls and a friend's wedding and knew he was the one. He is so personable and really gets to know you as a couple. From communicating, to organizing, to making sure the dance floor keeps going, he is the best around! He made the process seamless and talked us through every step of the way. His online planning tools are helpful and kept everyone organized.

Look no further, this DJ is great

Muir Music was the life of the party. All of our guests loved the music and did not want to go home. It was just the right energy and vibe throughout the entire evening. His knowledge and love of music was abundantly apparent from first meetings all the way thru the last dance. Additionally, we added on his uplighting in a golden hue which made the most beautiful glow inside the entire barn. This was such an easy addition with maximum results to the total atmosphere. Ask him about the options. We would not hesitate to work with Scott again and recommend him highly for his professionalism, responsiveness, and ability to take all of your suggestions and make some awesome memories.

Crazy, Madness, Extremely Fun

Best job ever

I don't know where to start. Not only was Scott the BEST DJ...he made sure the wedding went off without a hitch. He and his wife Lisa (my wedding planner) were the most unbelievable team. They worked together and went above and beyond. They did things that no other planner/DJ duo would ever do. I am so impressed by their work ethic. Best DJ ever!

Short version: Go with Scott, you won't regret it. Great communicator, organized, eclectic taste in music, major help with the timeline.

Long version: Scott is simply amazing. From the first time we spoke with him we thought "this guy knows his stuff." We fell in love with him instantly and it's easy to see why! His personality is extremely infectious (in a good way!) as he is full of positivity and is so outgoing. You really just feel like you’ve known him your entire life. He really takes the time to listen to your wants and concerns, doesn't try to upsell you on things you don't need, and works with you to build a playlist and a timeline you are happy with. Seriously, not only does he have a wide range of musical interests and knowledge, he does so much more than "just plays music." He works with the other vendors to make sure your day goes as smoothly as possible and knows how to get people on the dance floor. He is extremely organized and helpful with answering questions and providing suggestions. He has an online schedule/playlist program which really helps with keeping things in line easily. His approachability and sincerity will make you feel at ease and will give you confidence that everything will go well. He was instrumental in making sure our day was perfect and we couldn't have done it without him!

Wonderful DJ!

I am so happy that we met Scott at a bridal fair as he was a wonderful choice for our wedding. The planning process was easy with his online portal, and he is very responsive to emails. The pre-wedding meeting was great to help us all get on the same page, and not be stressed about the music for the big day. There were a few songs on our list that I do wish had gotten played throughout the night, but we told Scott to read the room and play what he thought would keep people on the dance floor, and he did a fantastic job at that! Our dance floor was full all night and our guests had a great time. Without a doubt I would recommend Scott to be your wedding DJ!

Scott was the BEST DJ for our wedding!

Scott was such a pleasure to have as our wedding DJ. He was recommended by our wedding planner and we couldn't have been happier with our choice to go with him. He had a great voice and energy to MC the entire event. He followed all of our requests for music genres throughout the night, and we were very picky and particular about what music to play and when and he didn't disappoint, he definitely knows what he is doing and knows his music really well! A few weeks before the wedding he met us at the venue and spent a few hours going through the run of show and our music preferences. He was super patient and professional. An all around great guy. Would 100% recommend him for your wedding!!

We LOVED having Scott as our DJ! Highly recommend. He made the whole process so easy and so smooth, and he was so helpful when we asked for suggestions for some of our special songs. Absolutely amazing service!!! Scott did such a great job prepping for our wedding, during, and after. He made everything so much less stressful, my guests thought he did such a good job, and my husband and I couldn’t be happier to have him. I would definitely definitely recommend him!!

Scott is FANTASTIC! Going into the wedding I had serious doubts about how many people would be on the dance floor during the course of the reception. Throughout the course of the night, you had to claw your way out there because no one wanted to leave. In 30 years I have never seen my dad dance until that night and oh boy did he dance! Leading up to the wedding, Scott took the time to sit down with us when we were in the area to chat about the music and how we wanted to do everything. He kept in touch with us throughout the planning process his software was super easy to use and give direction on what songs we wanted to hear.

Scott also put together our photobooth together which was a great touch. That book of photos will forever be a reminder of how much fun everyone had that night. Definitely a great touch that all of the guests loved. Alongside that, he handled the lighting for the venue and it looked great! I really can't recommend Scott enough, he is a pro!

Scott Muir was absolutely the right choice for our wedding. From the first meeting we felt comfortable with everything he
had to offer but what i was suprised about is that he is not just a great DJ. He understands the flow of a good wedding from the start of the ceremony ( he had 2 people miked up) and throughout the ceremony he did not miss a beat. He anticipated changes and adjusted seemlessly. The dance floor was full and we had various ages. He made our wedding day and night .

A DJ can make or break your wedding. Thanks to Scott Muir, the dance floor at our wedding was packed until the very last song. Scott is such a lovely person with great energy and I immediately knew upon meeting him that he was the DJ for us. He has an online portal that you use to pick your special songs such as First Dance, Grand Entrance etc which made it easy to go in and select songs as we thought of them. I was so stressed out about other things that we really didn't give Scott much guidance for music that we wanted played other than the special songs, but through our meetings with him he was able to figure out what would be perfect for us. He was also an excellent MC-he was great at getting the crowd excited and introducing our bridal party etc but he wasn't hogging the mic all night. We just loved working with Scott!

I cannot recommend Scott Muir enough! We were planning our wedding from out of town, and he was always very quick to respond by email or phone. He's incredibly professional and friendly! He helped us create a day-of timeline, and gave wonderful song suggestions when we were choosing our music. Our wedding day ran so smoothly, and the dance floor was always full! Scott definitely understands the flow of the wedding day, as well as how to read a crowd and the atmosphere. We've received so many compliments about the awesome song choices. Everything was absolutely wonderful, and I can't say enough great things about our experience with Scott.

Scott helped our special day go from great to amazing! Extremely professional and helped the entire day go smoothly. He let us pick what music we wanted for the ceremony and gave suggestions where we were getting stumped. We got tons of compliments after the wedding on how good the music was during our reception and dancing, he knows just what to play! Guests also had a blast in the photo booth we rented through him and at the end of the night, he was right there with the photo booth book of memories to hand off to us. You can tell that he really cares about his clients having the time of their lives and he is there to help make it happen. Would definitely recommend Muir Music to anyone who is asking for the best DJ!

I could not recommend Scott Muir enough! From the start, we were planning our wedding from out of town and he was always responsive by phone or email. He helped us create a whole timeline for the wedding that was amazingly helpful, because we didn’t have a coordinator and I was able to use that same timeline to get everything coordinated with the other vendors.

My now-husband and I can be very particular and picky about music, but Scott worked with our strange requests like a pro and totally nailed the old-school sound we were looking for. He also gave us great suggestions when we were stuck and starting to stress out about picking songs.

In the end everything turned out perfect! So many people commented on our music at the wedding. It was very “us” and yet also danceable. At the end of the night, the dance floor was so packed that people were dancing on the carpet (don’t tell our venue, haha). It was absolutely wonderful and I can’t say enough great things about our experience with Scott.

I had reached out to a respected DJ who happened to be booked for my wedding weekend. He did however highly recommended Scott Muir for our wedding DJ. When we met Scott he was so professional and likable. Right away he and my dad hit it off. Scott is a veteran DJ. He understands the flow of the wedding day, atmosphere and reading the crowd for getting the party started. He goes above and beyond to ensure the day runs smoothly. He made excellent suggestions when choosing music for my guests. He totally gets the “big picture” and helps people get up and want to dance. We had a wonderful time! We highly recommend Scott for your DJ needs.

Scott Muir is an amazing DJ! I asked him a lot of questions and he was very helpful. I was very nervous about what type of songs to play during the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and Scott helped with everything. He was very responsive to my questions and even suggested songs when I could not make up my mind about what to play during key moments. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a DJ! I have worked with Scott prior to booking him for my own wedding. He was so helpful from the beginning and throughout the process. No question, book Scott Muir! He was amazingly attentive, personable, affordable and easy-going. We met with Scott and his wife Lisa (who was our day of coordinator and equally awesome!) about 4-6 times the year leading up to our wedding. Scott knows what he is doing, he can read the crowd and pick the right music. He also knows how to keep the day moving/flowing smoothly. I have recommended Scott to 3 friends who have all booked him and love him (and Lisa!). Stop wasting time looking further and just book him! ;)

Scott was AWESOME! Being an occasional event planner myself, I wanted to make sure I had the right person hired to take care of all the details that I knew I'd want to get my hands on for my own Wedding. Scott's expertise is top notch and I never had any doubt he was the right person for the job. And since I'm a music nut with special musical requests, he was very accommodating with using some of my own personal music mixed into his vast database. With our musicians for the ceremony, Scott took the time to connect with them to make sure he provided all the equipment they would need for just the right sound, and the quality was perfect! It was also great to have all the fun lighting on the dance floor. But the cherry on top, was when Scott taught us all a fun line dance that he was so good at demonstrating. Lot's of fun was had by all!! If you want to have your gathering and not worry about the details, he's your guy!

We used Scott Muir as the DJ for our wedding in Paso Robles and he was fantastic! I spoke to him on the phone several times before the wedding but did not meet him in person due to being a few hours away in SF. Our conversations put me at ease and I could immediately tell he was extremely professional. I really trusted his expertise so we only gave him a few specific songs plus some guidance for the ambiance we wanted, and all his picks ended up being perfect! The wedding day went super smoothly and he really helped make sure all the transitions (cocktails to introduction, dinner and first dances, etc) were seamless. Dance floor was packed and I got a ton of compliments on the music. Perfect, perfect experience and I cannot recommend Scott enough!

We used Scott and Lisa's services for both DJ and coordinating for our Persian/American wedding over Labor Day weekend and we are SO happy we did! They are both professional and knowledgeable, easy to work with, and go out of their way to help with anything you need. Lisa and Scott are great at what they do. They tackled big and small issues during the wedding planning process as they arose and minimized our stress. Lisa is very organized, professional, and caring. She works with you to make your vision come true. Scott is very talented. He was able to create a wedding soundtrack that reflected our needs and kept our guests dancing all night, young and old! Scott is absolutely wonderful! He was the DJ for our July 2016 wedding. From the second we booked with Scott, we knew we were in good hands. He is a great communicator and was always there to help. Scott made multiple site visits with us and offered wonderful advice in planning.
After a few months of planning, we decided we wanted a day of coordinator. Scott had mentioned that his wife, Lisa, was a coordinator, so we met with her, booked her immediately, and felt a huge sense of relief and gratitude! Not only do I suggest hiring a day of coordinator, but I highly recommend Lisa. She is absolutely amazing! They helped us with every aspect of our wedding, from communicating with vendors, to designing the table layout, to day of set-up and take down, to emotional support when things just don't go right in wedding planning (like your venue canceling on you two months before the wedding). Hiring Scott and Lisa was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.
After multiple meetings and site visits (all wanted by us - they were never pushy or overbearing...not even close!), our wedding day came, and we felt so prepared and ready!
On our wedding day, Scott kept the reception moving and our guests entertained. We have received multiple compliments on what a great emcee he is. He also got the party going on the dance floor! It was a party that I did not want it to end. Scott also helped us with the photobooth, and the uplighting he did was beautiful.
We are so thankful we got to work with Scott and Lisa for our wedding. They are a great team - they go above and beyond and are so easy to work with. They offered great advice and help, while valuing our own ideas and wishes. Our wedding would not have been the same without Scott and Lisa Muir! I would highly recommend Scott as your wedding DJ and Lisa as your wedding coordinator. They are absolutely amazing people that will do whatever it takes to make your wedding day the best day of your lives!

Great personality to MC a fun wedding. He gave me free reign to pick all of my music but knew exactly what to use to fill the gaps! He has great suggestions and ideas. We loved the game he played with us during the reception and so did our guests! It was a hit! Scott Muir did an exceptional job at my Presqu'ile Winery wedding in July 2016. Scott's outstanding professionalism started back in October when he was constantly available by phone and email to discuss his services with me. As a bride, the choices and information out there regarding vendors can be overwhelming! Scott not only helped me navigate his services, but he also gave me many recommendations for other vendors on the Central Coast.

The moment we booked Scott for our wedding, we knew we were working with someone special. He was willing to meet with us in December, months before the wedding, to calm our wedding jitters and work out a wedding day of plan. He was always prompt with his communication and made choosing wedding songs a fun and easy task.

When I was indecisive about choosing the wedding ceremony music (a very important moment for any bride and groom), Scott called me on the phone to give me lots of choices of music that would fit my personality and the venue. Scott, even attended our rehearsal, which was completely above and beyond what he was contracted to do. That is the type of professional Scott is; always being exceptional.

The wedding DJ truly runs your wedding. They are the voice, they control the flow, and they can make or break your guest's experience. Scott took on the most important job of the day and did it with grace and ease. He kept every guest (from my 20 something year old friends to my 92 year old grandmother) dancing and laughing. He kept myself and my groom floating on air because we knew we were in the best of hands with Scott Muir running the show.

I would highly recommend Scott Muir and Muir Music DJ and Coordinating Service to any bride and groom out there! I cannot wait to use him again for our next big event. I was a very busy bride, working full-time, frequently out of town, and also having a destination wedding in Pismo Beach, CA. Scott was quick with his email responses, phone calls, and in person meeting which was crucial in the planning process. He put together the entire timeline for the evening, and gave some great suggestions for the special songs of the evening. He knew exactly what to play for the reception and had everyone dancing...even the ones that don't usually dance! I can't say enough great things about Scott and Muir Music. His wife, Lisa, also served as our wedding coordinator and she was absolutely amazing! I would recommend Muir Music to everyone!

Seriously fabulous DJ. Super professional. Met with my parents at their house to get their ideas for music for their 50th wedding anniversary. At the party, he was easy to work with, go-with-the-flow despite some set backs which presented themselves at the venue. He went above and beyond, even passing napkins out to the guests at one point. Scott is wonderful! We liked him immediately and hired him on the spot! He will guide you through the tough decisions of timing and even music selections. He was a gem when we told him our cousin would be playing guitar at the ceremony and he helped to seamlessly integrate the live music. He is awesome! If you want someone you can trust, and that you do not need to constantly check in on, this is your man! Scott Muir is so more than a DJ. He provided services that were so beyond anything we could have imagined! Besides meeting with us before the wedding to discuss music details, Scott had photos and info about our venue site that our Event Coordinator didn't have ready for us! Scott was always prompt, professional, and ready to save the day! We even had a friend who we wanted to play an acoustic guitar solo during the ceremony and it was no problem. Muir Music is seamless and flawless! We wish we could have booked his wife Lisa to organize our day of as well! The duo would have been amazing. Still getting compliments about our amazing music and flow of the evening! Thanks again Scott!

Scott from Muir Music was awesome. I don't think there could have been a better DJ out there! Scott kept the dance floor full all night long. Many of our guests commented that it was THE best wedding they had ever been to (and there have been LOTS of weddings). Ours was at the Ventana Grill. Aside from playing great music, Scott kept the event moving on schedule, and went above and beyond what I expected from a DJ. He came to our rehearsal to make sure everything was in order, and helped my maid of honor with my bustle which was not an easy one. I would highly recommend Muir Music for your central coast wedding. I could not have been happier and I'm thankful a friend recommended his services!

Scott was the DJ at our wedding in Avila Beach in May. He was absolutely WONDERFUL. Not only did he do a fantastic job during the ceremony and reception, he was a joy to work with in the time leading up--he worked with us to get the exact music and timing we wanted, was very patient with all of our questions, had great suggestions, and even went above and beyond by helping us create our reception timeline. He also referred us to our day-of coordinator, who also did a phenomenal job. We booked a photo booth in our package with him, which helped keep coordination easy and stress free for us. (The photo booth was definitely one of the highlights of the evening--they did a great job!) Scott was professional, warm, friendly, and it was very evident how important it was to him to make sure our day was special and perfect. We are so thankful!

Scott Muir from Muir Music is excellent! He comes prepared with all equipment, even if there are no wires for a remote ceremony. He made everyone extra comfortable including my Uncle who married us and was a little nervous to begin with. The reception moved smoothly and he kept everything on schedule while tail feathers where shook on the dance floor till the very end.

My fiancé and I were on a very tight budget and hadn't planned for a DJ. We talked this over with Scott, and Scott not only offered to work with us, within our budget, he also helped us map out our wedding itinerary. He went above and beyond; we would have been lost without his expertise. Scott's suggestions were invaluable! I have no idea what we'd have done without him!!

Our wedding was one to remember thanks to Scott. He kept things running smoothly and had all of our guests out on the dance floor! I've never danced so much in my life! Our group wasn't exactly the party type either. Scott thoughtfully tailored all of the music to our taste. We picked out a handful of songs and he took it from there. Everyone of our guests complimented the selection.

We had no idea how important a DJ was!! SO VERY THANKFUL to have found MuirMusic. Scott was more than just an awesome DJ he was a fantastic resource and a friendly face. Always quick to respond whether it was email, text or phone call he was there for us. Reliable, personable, and enthusiastic. Scott did a PHENEMONAL job! We cannot sing his praises enough (obviously).

Scott was a great DJ at our wedding!! The dance floor was never empty and all the guests had a great time. He was very easy to work with and very helpful with not only the music side but the timeline and flow of the day as well. He worked with our coordinator (who he actually referred me to) to come up with a timeline that suited everyone. He met with us at our venue a few months prior to the wedding day to go over everything as well. He was great at moving the reception and guests along throughout the night when needed. The flow and selection of music was great and there was something for everyone. I would definitely recommend him for any event, he did an amazing job!!

Scott went above as beyond when it came to the planning of my wedding! Being a destination wedding for us, he was awesome at calming my nerves through endless phone calls, and emails! He was even willing to meet with us in person at our location on short notice to nail out details and give us ideas. He wanted to get to know us as a couple, and by the end of the experience, he was family! He really understood how to create the atmosphere we wanted and helped make our dream wedding a reality! What can I say, but AWESOME!
Scott Muir is not only a professional, but fun energetic individual who comes onto you as being a part of your family. He goes above 100% to make your wedding day the best it can possibly be. For example, we wanted to surprise our family & friends with a first dance skit & Scott offered his time to meet with us at our venue to rehearse and show us some dance moves. I will say if you don’t hire this man to be your DJ at your wedding there is something wrong with you! Once again Scott, thank you for EVERYTHING you’ve done for us!

Scott Muir was highly recommended to us as one of the best wedding DJs in the area, so we felt confident in having him at our wedding. Scott was excellent! We didn't have a lot of time to plan everything out before our wedding, but Scott has had so much experience in the business, he guided us through the various parts of the evening so everything went smoothly. One of my favorite parts about Scott Muir was that he recognizes that each wedding is unique, and he plays the music and runs the evening the way the bride and groom want it to happen! He only played the music that we like, and he didn't force us to do "wedding traditions" that we didn't want to do, yet he was open to whatever we had planned. The DJ really does run the show, and we felt comfortable throughout the evening that Scott was keeping our guests entertained, maintaining a fun and relaxed atmosphere, and making sure that our wedding was everything we hoped it would be! We highly recommend Scott Muir as a DJ to any event.

Scott did a great job and on very short notice. We are so glad we ended up going with a DJ having initially thought we'd do the iPod thing. He made the wedding so much fun! He came highly recommended and I will be recommending him too!

We couldn't be happier with Scott and his services. He's been providing DJ services for quite some time and it shows. Scott is a true professional and it's obvious that he takes pride in his work. Not only did he have an easy solution for all of our concerns, but he was a wealth of great ideas as well. His music selection was obviously extensive and he easily fashioned the play list (which included a myriad of song requests) to suit the theme of our wedding. Furthermore, Scott also acted as Emcee for the event. This turned out to be critical and was not something we had thought of during planning. We had a large reception and it could have turned into an unmitigated disaster if Scott had not directed certain stages of the reception. Scott was a genuine relief to the entire planning and implementation of our wedding reception. I would not hesitate to opt for Muir Music DJ Service for future events as well as recommend Scott to friends and family. Thanks again!!

Prior to our wedding Scott worked with us on a couple of different occasions to make sure exactly what we wanted played for our ceremony and reception. Once we provided our list of music he took over on making sure that the day would go seamlessly. Scott was such a professional DJ for our wedding venue. Both Scott and his wife Lisa attended our rehearsal to make sure we were all on track. And Lisa was a big help the day of our wedding to orchestrate the ceremony to make sure the attendants and bride got down the staircase to the aisle at the perfect timing. All the music went as we had hoped for at the ceremony and the reception Scott had everyone up on the dance floor having a good time. He streamlined the entire day perfectly...we couldn't of asked for anymore. Had many compliments from guests on how much they enjoyed the music that was played. Scott Muir DJed our wedding on June 11th and I can't say enough positive things about him and his wife. Scott masterfully organized and guided us and the guests through the night and kept everything on schedule. He also was able to read our guests and always played just the right song at the right time. When you hires Scott and Muir Music you also get his wife Lisa who is your day of coordinator. What a deal that is because she was like that invisible glue that kept all of the vendors, guests, and us on the same page. Lisa even rigged up an extra boutiner for my best man when our florist showed up with one less than she was supposed. Lisa literally went into the vineyard and created something that looked exactly like the ones from the florist in under 10 mins (life saver). Thank you Scott and Lisa, you made our wedding and ceremony better than we could have hoped for. I would highly highly recommend Muir Muisc for your wedding.

Scott is AMAZING! Not only did he do everything I asked, show up on time, have the dance floor moving, and was incredible professional; my guitarist never showed to my ceremony, and with two hours notice Scott showed up early, arranged all my music, and made the ceremony go off beautifully! Highly highly recommend!

Scott Muir and his wife are a great team who helped our wedding run as smoothly as possible. He was very understanding during the rehearsal, even though the bride was running late. He and his wife were very organized and helped create our timeline for a wonderful ceremony and reception. He can go with the flow; in our case, we were late to the reception, but Scott was able to keep our guests well-entertained. He was also able to work with our musically inclined family and he even sang a duet with our aunt during the father/daughter/mother/son dance... what more can you ask for in a DJ?

My new wife and I could not have been more pleased with our choice to have Scott Muir and his wife Lisa be our wedding DJ...and I use the term DJ loosely. They were more like wedding saviors!!! Scott and Lisa were there with us from the words will you marry me. They met with us prior to the wedding and had a great list of music to choose from. Not only that but Lisa was an intricate part in helping us plan exactly how the wedding was going to run. On the day of the wedding they were so prepared and helped us manage the timing; not only when it came to the music, but all the other stuff you don't really even think about. I mean Lisa even pinned the boutonnieres on all of us dudes who had no idea what we were doing. She lined us up and made sure we were in the right order and walked at the right time, while Scott hit the timing of the changing songs perfectly. They were awesome!! As far as the announcements, the microphones for speeches, and of course the dance music, Scott was spot on! By the end of the wedding we had to drag our guests off the dance floor! I have to say that without the Muir Music team our special day would not have been as special. It felt more like they were a part of our wedding, than just some DJ working at our wedding. I think it is safe to say that we regard them as our friends now and look forward to seeing them again in a professional manner as well as on a personal level. We truly could not have asked for more and I would highly, highly, highly recommend Muir Music aka Scott and Lisa for any event. Thanks Scott and Lisa you guys ROCKED!!!!

Just so everyone knows the DJ sometimes can make or break your wedding! Scott did an amazing job by getting a lot of people to dance (my family is not big on dancing!) but he got a lot of people out there! He played games and asked us how invovled we wanted him to be! he's a great DJ and I reccomend him to anyone looking for a great DJ for a great price!

I got sooooo many complements on my DJ, Muir Music, at my wedding! EVERYONE at my wedding was on the dance floor ALL night - even those who tell me that they don't usually dance! I couldn't have asked for a better DJ!

We were a little late getting started, but he kept us right on schedule, without rushing us! He helped organize everyone - it was like having a DJ and wedding planner all wrapped up into one!

The best part is that he was the most inexpensive DJ I could find, but turned out to be the best! Everyone loved him. I got married in October 2008 and it is now December and I still have guests call me and tell me how amazing the DJ was!

Scott was wonderful. We met before the wedding and went through songs and song choices. The songs that I left up to his discretion were appropriate and good. He made the experience very easy and everyone enjoyed!
