    My husband and I Just can't get over how awesome our photography turned out starting from the engagements to the day of the wedding to the finished product. Hard to find good service like this.

    Monica & her "SuperAssistant", Terry - are so incredible. They took our engagement and our wedding photos. Which are completely amazing. They spent alot of time with us on the engagement photos and had a very quick turn around time. I have only seen some of the photos from the wedding- and they look absolutely incredible. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. The cost is absolutely perfect - especially for the quality and all of their hard work. They had an option to have a "guestbook" - so people can sign a book with our engagement photos for our wedding, and it was absolutely wonderful and everyone really enjoyed signing it! Our family and friends have gone crazy over the "sneakpeeks" and have really enjoyed seeing all the photos! Thank you so much, Monica & Terry! We'll be using you again in our future life events!! :)

    Monica was basically my right hand man on my wedding day. Not only did she follow my every move to capture every moment...she stayed AFTER my husband and I left our reception to help clean up and CONTINUE to take pictures! We used her for our engagement pictures, our wedding, and in just a few months for our maternity pictures. She is forever our photographer. Not to mention her assistant Terry...the duo works perfect because he stays with the men on wedding day to capture those moments and Monica got to stay with us.

    Monica did an amazing job at my wedding! There was a calmness and flexibility to her that made the day that much more special. She was also there for the birth of my son and those pictures are breathtaking. She is also taking his first year pictures and I have been beyond impressed with all of her work! Would definetely recommend her!

    Monica is one of the best photographers I have ever worked with (and trust me I have worked with the best of them) that is the reason I chose her to be my wedding photographer. The level of professionalism is unparalleled. She has the ability to make you feel comfortable and confident all while taking some of the best action shots that show real emotions while capturing the best moments of the wedding. She has also taken family pictures of us that have turned out great. I don't know how she can make a 20 people picture with children ranging from 1-7 years old look so cohesive and with smiles on everyone's face. She is the best and I would recommend her to all of my friends and family.

    Monica Hunter Photography (MHP) is the total package!! For me, I wanted great photos for a great price and I wanted them from a photographer that would make me feel as natural as possible, because getting married in front of everyone is awkward enough - I got that and so much more from MHP! Monica guided us through our engagement and our wedding photos - her pricing is so fair and we were so in love with our engagement photos that we flew her out from Texas to shoot our wedding in Colorado. We were rained out on our wedding and Monica and super assistant Terry didn't even blink. Monica takes great care to get to know her client's so the photos aren't a reflection of her style, but her client's style. She has quickly become our family photographer, shooting my sister's wedding, my sister-in-law's family pictures, my other sister's maternity photos, and my mother's fitness photos. I've been over joyed by the quality of everything we received and the love and care it was done with.

    Monica Hunter Photography is absolutely wonderful! My husband and I chose them initially for our engagement, bridal, and wedding photography and continue to choose them to document the very special milestones of our first child. Not only did Monica (and her assistant, Terry) make my husband and I feel incredibly special during all of our wedding events but we continue to be blown away by the outstanding sense of importance that we feel and the quality of work that we receive time and time again. We will forever cherish the photos that have been captured by Monica and her staff. Thank you!

    Monica Hunter was an amazing photographer! Her photographs were beautiful, creative, fun, and unique! I loved everything I received with my package. Monica and her assistant Terry were also very easy to communicate with and they made me feel like a princess while shooting pics! I will def use them in the future and recommend them to friends!

    Monica went above and beyond what we could have ever imagined. She made our day complete. The pictures she got were amazing!! She will be the only photographer that my family ever uses again. I would recommend her to every person I know and then some for any professional photography that you would ever need!

    Monica is amazing!!!! She is so flexible and personable....she worked with our schedule and our budget. She took the time to get to know my husband and I and even our family. Our pictures from the engagements to the actual wedding are absolutely beautiful.....we will cherish them forever and we will most definitely be using her again for up comping events!!

    When we decided early on that we would not get both a videographer and photographer for our wedding, I began researching wedding photographers and styles of photography. I found that in order to still capture moments that might make us question our videographer decision I would need to turn toward a more photo-journalistic photographer. After the combing through the Wedding Wire vendors and attending a few bridal shows, we came up with around nine photographers to interview. They ranged in styles, number of photographers, and experience. We even talked to a big box company who's policy it was to pick out a photographer for us and they'd show up on the day of. We also met with a company that would do a photobooth for us, if we were willing to pay the price.

    So why did Monica Hunter Photography stand out?
    - Photojournalistic style and variety of clientele: If you take a few moments to look at their website and blog, you'll note RIGHT AWAY that Monica doesn't attract one certain kind of client. She has all types with all different tastes. (I still visit to see the new blog entries.) I took that as a good sign; both my husband and I think of ourselves as not very photogenic and shy away from the camera bugs in our familes. While we knew that pictures on our wedding day was inevitable, we wanted to make sure that our photographers were people we could work with. Their website gallery and blog shows these two can work with just about everyone! While you're at the gallery, you'll note that there isn't really the same pose or shot for one wedding that you'll find for another wedding - family pictures excluded. During the wedding and our engagement photos they followed us but were not invasive. I cannot believe some of the pictures they got and am so glad they did because we had a lot of guests and could not be everywhere the action was happening. I gave them a shot list but because I wanted to let them do what they do best, I limited it to specific shots of the family and shots of projects I worked on for the wedding. They did not disappoint and captured many moments we didn't even know were happening! (Aunts and uncles we didn't think would dance, getting down. Groomsmen showing off. Traditional family moments.)

    - Photography Packages: When we first met with Monica (and Terry) she had just changed over from an a la carte type pricing to suggested packages. She prefaced giving us the list by saying that if we wanted to make changes we could talk about it. We took advantage of that by forgoing a bridal/boudoir session and album. Instead, we asked them to create our Save the Date postcards and shoot our rehearsal dinner. In addition, when it came time to design our engagement album, we asked them create it so there was white space around the pictures and we used it as our guest book at the wedding. Both the Save the Dates and Guest Book were highly admired and I had to tell friends who were in the process of planning their own weddings that it wasn't just some site they could duplicate! Another point that was unusual amongst all the photographers we interviewed was the hours included. Most photographers of Monica's quality have a 4 to 5 hour package and we would have had to pay more to fit our extended timeline. If I'd tried to wrangle all the out of town family amongst the not-so-close venues AND get everything done in 5 hours I might have gone mad. Monica met us at our hair appointment at 9 the morning of our wedding and was with us the entire time until we hopped into our getaway car at 8:30 that night.


    - Responsiveness and Involvement:
    Though we could not have known the depth of their responsiveness at the first meeting, it was plain to see that Monica and Terry were laid back individuals. What we did learn was that they care very much about the business they've created and the clients they contract with. I don't think I had to wait longer than a day for a response to an email and I began to expect that of all our other vendors. In fact, Monica went above and beyond for us during our planning by introducing us to our eventual Day of Coordinator, something I wasn't sure I needed but was glad I did and was even more thankful to have a recommended company she'd worked with in the past. With both teams at work during the day, everything went off very smoothly. I had to ask after the fact if issues did arise throughout our day, because we didn't see them. (Thankfully, the did tell us of a few and it was fun to rehash and see how we could have missed them.) During the process, they have been overly accomodating to meet us in our part of the metroplex when it was time to deliver pictures or albums.

    I'd highly recommend Monica Hunter Photography and I carry a business card in my wallet should anyone be in need of a photographer.

    Monica Hunter Photograghy is wonderful! With the chaos and emotions of the wedding day, Monica and Terry captured our day. They were always professional and helped in making our wedding day a lasting memory with their work.
    I have passed their information along to other brides and plan on using them for future events.

    I thoroughly enjoyed working with Monica Hunter Photography! Her attention to detail, quality of work and value went above and beyond my expectations.

    Monica Hunter is a highly professional photographer, remarkably relaxed and was very easy to work with for my bridal photo shoot and wedding. During the bridal shoot, Ms. Hunter would allow me to try out different poses, preferring to let me stand, sit, etc. in the pose that was the most comfortable position for me, resulting in beautiful and relaxed pictures. When I would ask for direction, Ms. Hunter easily and gently modified any pose with professionalism and grace.

    Regarding the wedding, my husband and I met with Ms. Hunter to order prints, a little less that two weeks after the event. She had about 1,500 photos from the rehearsal dinner through our exit at the end of the wedding reception the following evening.

    We notified Ms. Hunter of the required shots we would like to have for our collection before the wedding. Once those photographs were taken, Ms. Hunter would rarely ask my husband and me to "look this way," or pose on command, instead preferring to capture the candid and wonderful moments throughout the day and night.

    Our final contract was very straight-forward, absolutely no "fine print." Ms. Hunter certainly exceeded my expectations regarding our contract. I wholeheartedly and without reservation highly recommend Ms. Hunter for any event.

    I loved having Monica Hunter as my photographer. She was easy to get in touch with and her schedule was flexible around mine. She was so nice and helpful the entire wedding day and she made it that much better by being so nice and friendly to everyone!

    I could not have been happier with my decision to choose Monica as my photographer. Not only was I completely in love with all of my pictures, but Monica also made my day that much more special. She kept me at ease with all of the normal stressors of a wedding day as well as made me okay with the fact that it started pouring the day of my wedding which was an outside wedding! She was the only person that was able to calm me and even turn the rain into a positive experience:) She was able to capture every special moment without me ever having to say anything...she just knew exactly what I wanted. Her service was absolutely priceless to me, yet her rates were very reasonable. She made me feel beautiful, comfortable, and confident in every photo session including engagagement, boudoir, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception. She was extremely prompt on editing all the pictures and getting them to me after I ordered them.     Monica drove over 3 hours to photograph my Granny's wedding. She captured some beautiful images of my immediate and extended family. We have quite an eclectic group in our family, and Monica was more than accommodating in making sure everyone felt comfortable in the group pictures. My Granny has been so pleased with her wedding pictures. It's been more than two years since she got married, and Granny still talks about what a wonderful job Monica did, and how grateful she is to have such beautiful pictures to remember her day by.

    Monica was quick to put the pictures on her website, so we could pick which pictures to order. The only problem with the pictures was that it was really hard to decide which ones we wanted. There were so many great ones to choose from. The prints that were ordered came in quickly as well.

    We are so glad we chose Monica Hunter Photography! We look forward to using her services in the future!

    Monica is one of the best! I have always been really self conscious about the way I look in pictures, but Monica made me feel so comfortable and at ease at every session, meeting, and especially on our big day! She was so caring and attentive to all of our needs. I can't thank her enough for capturing some of the best memories of our lives. The pictures were amazing. I look forward to calling Monica for baby pictures, future family photos, and everything in between!

    Monica Hunter Photography is the only photographer for us. She recently did a maternity shoot for us. The result was nothing short of amazing. She used simple, sincere conversation to isolate and emphasize the details that were most important to us. My wife spent many hours crafting aspects of the room, and Monica was able to capture those details with superior quality and excellence. Her ability to melt into the background to capture our candid moments was truly amazing. Her subtle directions turned a normal picture into a memory that will be passed to our future generation!
