Mitch is fun, upbeat, professional, and funny. He nailed it! and everyone talked about how good he was. Everyone paid attention to the ceremony, and we heard so many good things about it afterwards. We cannot imagine having any other officiant perform our ceremony. Mitch loves what he does and truly believes in the power of love!

I cannot rave enough about Mitch. When I got engaged I did a google search for officiants and couldn't believe how many there were to choose from! I picked him out of a hat and I'm so happy I did. From the first phone call, he had me cracking up and I knew he was our guy. We booked him immediately. I ended up getting pregnant a month later and when I called him with the news....he had such kind words for us. We switched the date with no issues.

I had trouble figuring out who would officiate our little gathering. I emailed different people, checked out websites. I knew that I had to incorporate my fiance's (now husband) wishes for the religious (Catholic/Christian) aspect of the ceremony. I also wanted to incorporate some of the Jewish traditions as a way to honor my grandmother who passed away when I was 16 and meant a lot to me. It was hard to find just one person to do this and two people was far too expensive. Minister Mitch met with us in our area at a diner and we knew as soon as we left that meeting, he was the officiant for us. He was well prepared and even though he was very under the weather, his great sense of humor and fantastic personality were obvious to us. Our wedding day was filled with wonderful memories and some annoyances, who's isn't? But Minister Mitch showed up to the venue, ran through everything with us, and put us at ease. The ceremony was talked about by EVERYONE for the whole evening!

I recently was able to watch a video of our special day. It all seems to happen in a blur. Minister Mitch was just wonderful! He rolled with the punches, played to the audience, and called us out on being weird and stiff. You can hold hands! he said. He was a great leader and managed to incorporate everything we wanted in our wedding ceremony. I am forever grateful to him and we hope that when we decide to renew our vows down the line, maybe he'll be around to officiate that!

Mitch the Minister may have been the star of our wedding! The ceremony was not too long and the people at our wedding loved the genuine way the ceremony went off. Even the "Why aren't they getting married in a Church"? family members loved Mitch and commented on how great he was. We would def recommend Mitch as the officiant to friends and family.

Where do I begin?? When we first met with Minister Mitch, he said his goal was to make everyone laugh AND cry, and promised to even make my husband cry (of course he was hired as soon as he said that!). He definitely delivered on all points! To make my husband cry was no small feat, as we've been together for 6 years and I've seen him cry once when someone passed away. We were having a bad day the day we met with him (hey, we all have our days) - we were a little annoyed with each other, I brought us to the wrong meeting place, and I was worried he wouldn't be able to see the love we really do have for each other, and that it wouldn't come through in the ceremony he put together. But oh boy, I was wrong! The ceremony was amazing and he threw in some really funny and unexpected things along the way. He had our guests laughing from the very first words he said, and crying very soon after that.

During our reception, as expected, we had so many people tell us that was the best ceremony they've ever been to! Minister Mitch incorporated a great Bob Marley quote we talked about during our meeting that talked about not finding a perfect person, but finding the person that is perfect for you. Well, Mitch The Minister was perfect for us!! Thank you!!

Mitch was amazing! We knew right away when we met him the he was the officiant for us! Mitch is wonderful and very flexible, he will do whatever you want with the ceremony. The ceremony was everything we wanted it to be and it was beautiful. All of our family and guests were very impressed and moved by the ceremony. My husband and I work together in the event industry, so we planned each little detail of the wedding ourselves. Less than 5 months before the wedding, we had planned every aspect of the reception, but we still hadn't booked an officiant for the ceremony! I was panicked and thought that I'd just have to come to terms with having a less-than-ideal officiant, or asking a friend to do it.

I scoured Wedding Wire for NJ officiants, and skipped over the ones with 50+ 5-star reviews (because I knew that they probably had 3 or more weddings already booked for that date, and we were having our ceremony out in the woods in Hunterdon County, an hour from most venues). We had a very disappointing meeting with a local officiant, and were feeling totally hopeless about it. I asked my fiance/husband to search Wedding Wire too, and he looked around for a long time and told me there was just one person he wanted me to call. When he said Mitch the Minister, I laughed and asked why we'd even bother. With over 100 5-star reviews there was no way on earth he'd be available. Hell, he was probably fully booked for NEXT June 23, not just this June 23. My husband asked me to humor him, and so to get his mind off of it I did.

Mitch answered the phone, said "THIS June 23rd??" and I laughed/apologized for even asking. He said "let me call you back in 5 minutes." And he did. He said "I have wonderful news for you!" and I just about exploded. We made plans to meet him, and he insisted on meeting us over halfway to our middle of nowhere town. This was easily 45 min from where he lives.

From the moment we met him, we knew there could never be anyone but Mitch. He is funny, charming, personable, and just so comfortable to be with. He had my husband laughing harder than most people EVER get him to laugh. We talked about who we are and what we wanted for our wedding ceremony, and had a blast going through it. It was the most fun and memorable meeting we had in our whole planning process.

We came home elated. We knew that he had taken this epic party day we had planned, and single-handedly turned it into our dream wedding day. It was like he was an old friend who had known us for years, and we felt so honored that he was now part of our day.

When the day came, Mitch arrived early and ready. He performed the most beautiful ceremony I have ever seen or heard, and he blew away all our of our guests. Even the "I can't believe they're not getting married in a church" attendees said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. Mitch started the ceremony, which took place in a meadow at a nature preserve, by saying "Welcome to one of the most beautiful churches I have ever been to in my life." It gave everyone chills and tangibly turned our meadow into our own hand-picked church. It was so deep. He made everyone laugh, cry, and connect with each other and with the universal beauty of love. It touched people very deeply, in a way that carried into the reception and still carries on today.

I knew that I would try to be brief and end up writing a book about Mitch. I could go on even longer, but let's just say that he is the most awesome wedding officiant I could ever imagine, and that if he is available to marry you, I promise you will not be disappointed.

Chris and I were truly blessed that we had Mitch to perform our ceremony. He made it not only personal and meaningful but also fun. Everyone raved about how perfect the ceremony suited our personalities and our relationship. I feel that Mitch made our day all the more special with his readings and reflections of us as a couple. It was an like an old friend pronounced us as Mr. And Mrs., and I can say that we do consider Mitch to not only be the very special person who brought us together as husband and wife, but also as a friend.

My now husband and I used Mitch Maged's services for our June 15th, 2012 wedding. We couldn't have been happier with the service that Mitch provided to us! Not only is Mitch one of the friendliest guys in the world, but he really listened and got a feel for us as a couple. Mitch provided such a lighthearted ceremony which we wanted but added just enough of the realness behind being married. We laughed (a lot, which you need in a marriage!), we cried, we got married. All of our guests complimented our ceremony joyfully describing it as "different" and "not the same old boring ceremony." Mitch, you nailed it and you are so good at your job. Not only did we instantly connect with Mitch and book him immediately, his interest in us didn't waiver after he received our payment. We spent at least an hour with him at our second meeting going over the details of what to use in our short, sweet ceremony. While the blue-print was in place, nothing felt "scripted." Mitch added a healthy amount of surprise and spontaneity to our day. About a minute into our OUTDOOR ceremony, a BLARING siren went by...Mitch made a joke, everyone laughed, and life went on. Not only did we love all of his personal touches and authenticity, but I had dozens of guests tell me we had a great minister and one of the most enjoyable ceremonies they had ever seen. You can tell this man does his job for all of the right reasons and has genuine concern for his couples. Mitch went as far as to give my extremely (and I mean EXTREMELY) emotional fiancé (now husband) his handkerchief mid-ceremony. If the above is not enough to convince you, meet him. And if that's not enough to convince you, I can tell you definitively his value far exceeds his price (which by the way, was FAR less expensive than ANY other minister we stumbled upon during our research).
