We absolutely loved working with Mike and Nick for our multicultural wedding - first at Kent Island Resort and then at CBBC. From the very beginning, they were easy to communicate with. Mike asked if we had any specific shots we wanted to get but overall we left it up to him and Nick as they are professionals that have been doing this for a long time. They had great suggestions! I appreciate that they took extra time to scout the locations, the lighting, picture details/decor/venue, etc. They were very easy to work with and very flexible. Shooting 2 long days of weddings is no easy feat, but they did it with ease and made us feel very special on our weekend. Its been about 2 weeks since our weddings and we already have photos back from day 1 with the next day coming in the next couple of weeks - so they work fast afterwards to make sure you have photos in a timely manner. I highly recommend working with Mike and Nick for our wedding or other events - you will be very happy you did! -

The BEST - hire him!!
Wedding day moments and memories last a lifetime and amazing photos capturing those memories and moments do too! Great photos of your wedding day are absolutely priceless especially if you hire the right people like Mike and Nick! I cannot say enough positive things about the gift that Mike and Nick gave us of beautiful images from our most special day. They were the dream team. Double the shooters = double the angles and shots. This meant a lot to us since a summer rain shower hit ~30 minutes into our allotted photo time - you would never know! Two shooters was key, Mike and Nick worked efficiently and we have beautiful and varied outdoor photos in excellent light to show. I provided Mike a very detailed list of shots I wanted to get and he NAILED every. single.one. Not to mention keeping our day on time and tracking seamlessly to the timeline. Staying on timeline is so crucial to your wedding day running smoothly and your guests' experience. Mike and Nick are experienced pro’s who kept to timing effortlessly. In a world of many “instagram photographers” who over filter and over edit and may not keep track of timing so well - we can’t emphasize enough how important experienced professionals like Mike and Nick are! They captured awesome posed family photos, shadowed me during cocktail hour to get amazing photos of friends, and captured great candids we will treasure forever and even got detail photos of all the decor. Their turnaround time for images and responsiveness was super quick too. As if all this isnt enough, Mike’s package included a free engagement shoot where he got the best photo of us and our “dock jump” for our save the dates and captured many moments for us to use on our website! -

We are so grateful Mike was recommended to us by a friend. He is very professional but equally laid back, which was a relief for people who are camera shy like myself. He made my husband and I feel very comfortable and it felt like he adapted well to our humor and personalities very easily. He was willing to take calls throughout the planning process and was very responsive. He captured such beautiful photos of our wedding, but we barely knew he was there! He let us do our thing and didn't pull us out of the moment when we were having a good time, and got lots of great candid shots. He also captured all the specific photos we asked for in advance. Mike was one of the first vendors I hired. I viewed a ton of portfolios and one of the things I liked about Mike’s photos was that he had a good eye for lighting and framing. After meeting him in person, we both knew he was the photographer we wanted. He is passionate about his work and really cares about making his clients happy. His partner Nick is also an exceptional photographer. After the wedding, he pointed out a few places where the sunset looked especially beautiful and was able to capture some of our favorite photos. Overall, we were very happy with the both of them. Definitely hire them! -

We were initially attracted to Mike Busada’s portfolio when reviewing his website. His work reflected a more artistic style than the typical photojournalist approach that other wedding photographers lean towards, and we wanted something that captured the “emotional transactions” (as Mike calls them) that would be timeless and could hang on our walls forever. We met with Mike initially thinking he would be outside our budget, but he was very willing to work with us and was accommodating with a photography package that met our budgetary needs. When consulting with him and his other primary photographer Nick, it was immediately obvious to us that we had found our wedding photographer. The day of the wedding, Mike and Nick did an amazing job, and were easy to work with. They captured all of the moments we asked for, and then some. They delivered our wedding pictures on time and with some personal touches that were appreciated. We are truly blown away by the quality of the pictures, and will have a difficult time choosing which ones to order prints of - they are all outstanding! We would highly recommend Mike B for any special occasion in which you truly want the expressions and feelings of the moment to be captured as an image!Mike B Photography's reply:

I would highly recommend Mike as a wedding photographer! The quality of his work is amazing and he was so great to work with! He made sure to capture every request we had and was so accommodating throughout the whole process. To me, the photographer was one of the most important parts of our wedding and I couldn't be happier that we got to work with Mike! -

From the moment I met Mike at a wedding expo 4 years ago I knew he would capture my wedding one day! He was absolutely amazing. From our engagement shoot on his beautiful farm to capturing our wedding day. He is so easy to work with and has such an eye for beautiful detail. They were both so easy going and were so flexible on the day of the wedding with making sure we got in the shots that we wanted to happen. Their attention to detail and eye for capturing the moment is unbelievable. I would definitely recommend them for local as well as destination weddings. You will not be disappointed! Kimberly Sent on 08/23/2017Mike was such an incredible pleasure to work with! From our first meeting I knew he would be a wise choice. His "cool and calm" personality is everything a bride could hope for during her wedding events. My husband (who hates being photographed) also greatly appreciated his methods and comfortable nature. He is super professional and well regarded in his craft. I would definitely recommend him to future brides (especially brides who have a 'I don't want to do a lot of photos' groom, because Mike will get through to him instantly in his naturally cool demeanor).
