Melissa was a lot of fun to work with! She is very talented, professional, detailed oriented, and organized. I still can’t believe how well priced her packages are! Our engagement and wedding photos turned out beautiful. So, look no further! I recommend Melissa Copeland Photography!

Melissa was such a huge help during our big day! She helped keep everything on track and was able to get every picture Josh and I wanted. I look back on our wedding photos and they truly captured our wedding day memories. I would highly recommend her to anyone in the area looking for quality photography.

I was so happy we chose Melissa Copeland as our wedding photographer. She has a great eye and creatively incorporated elements that were important to us. Our formal family wedding photos were fantastic but Melissa has a knack for capturing those candid moments that made our day so special. She captured timeless photos that we will be showing off to our family and friends for years to come.

Melissa is wonderful. She made the engagement and wedding photo sessions feel very easy. She also uses a second photographer for weddings so we got a lot of good pictures. Melissa got to know us before the wedding so she knew what kind of picture style we liked.

Melissa was an absolute joy to work with from start to finish! She goes over every single detail you could ever think of and makes sure that you get pictures of exactly what you want. She spent the perfect amount of time during our engagement shoot - not too long, and not too short. We were nervous about not doing a "first look" beforehand on our wedding day and having to take all of our pictures during cocktail hour, but Melissa was so organized we got pictures done in a snap and we got to actually go enjoy cocktail hour with our guests! Both our guests and our bridal party were very impressed! Melissa and Kelsey went out of their way on the wedding day to do a bunch of little "extras" for us that made us feel so special and we couldn't have gotten better pictures in return. The value of what Melissa Copeland provided us with her photography is more than we could have ever paid her! I would definitely recommend her...so much so that my sister has already booked her for her wedding coming up in 2015! :)

We just got our wedding photos back and could not be happier! There were more photos than we could've expect but more importantly, they're all great shots. Throughout both our engagement and wedding sessions it was a bit windy and cold and you'd never know by looking at the photos. No scrunched faces or blowing hair, everyone looks so great. There are some really cool shots we got that I've never seen before which is a huge plus, I don't feel like I have the fact same wedding photos as every other bride who has spent too much time on Pinterest.

The engagement session being part of the package was a great idea. Neither of us particularly love having our picture taken and the engagement session helped serve as sort of a "practice round." It gave us a chance to get to know Melissa better, and for us to get a little more comfortable having our picture taken.

On top of the quality of work being great, Melissa was always very professional and so responsive which was really important to me throughout planning the wedding. Nothing is more stressful than having a vendor not answer your emails but I was really impressed with how quickly Melissa got back to me about everything. It definitely took a lot of pressure off and I never once had to worry about that aspect of wedding planning.

The only issue that we had was that our pictures took about 3 months to get back. Otherwise, the work was great. It was worth the wait.

I spent a lot of time researching different wedding photographers in my area. I even attended a bridal show to scope out my options. I am so happy that I chose Melissa Copeland Photography. Melissa is very sweet and professional. I fell in love with her creativity and quality of her photographs. She made me feel very comfortable and confident in her work. She was very flexible with our engagement shoot and extremely helpful with making our Save The Dates. She worked with me on creating a timeline for the day of our wedding and was very efficient with ensuring I got pictures with every person/situation that I wanted. She surprised my husband and I with something special the day of our wedding! I know that I will use her business in the future as my family grows. Pictures are very important to me because they are something I can have and cherish forever.

I can't say enough lovely things about Melissa. She is the first vendor that I booked for my November 2012 wedding because I knew I had to have her shoot my special day! My now-husband and I also flew her out to NYC to shoot our engagement photos and it is some of the best money I have ever spent. She was easy to coordinate with via phone and email (despite the fact that we were planning our Michigan wedding from so far away!). On the wedding day, Melissa and her assistant were both awesome and stepped in to help with a few small things. You can tell that she does weddings ALL THE TIME. She is laid-back and professional, and I would hire her again in a heartbeat.

Melissa is the most talented photographer I have ever worked with. She is very professional but has a great personality and is so fun to work with! She did both our engagement photos and our wedding photos and I could not have asked for more. I did not spend one minute worrying at the wedding about getting specific photos because I knew she would take care of everything. We were so happy when we got the pictures back as well. Her style is classic, with a little modernity mixed in, so you don't have to worry about any cheesy pictures that will be out of style in a few years. Her editing is also impeccible (She doesn't photoshop pictures to the point where they don't even look real anymore!) You will not be disappointed by booking Melissa for any kind of shoot!

Melissa was the perfect choice for our wedding photography! We found her website online, as we planned our wedding from Georgia, and communicated through emails and phone calls mostly but I couldn't have been more satisfied even if we had discussions in person! She scheduled a spur of the moment engagement session when I found out we'd be able to come to town, the photos are beautiful, and she AND her assistant are so sweet and fun! I have already recommended her to friends planning their weddings! Make her your first booked vendor so she doesn't get away!!

Honestly when I first met Melissa at a bridal show I thought her work was amazing, but I was afraid she was going to be out of our budget, even though photography was something we were willing to splurge on. After talking to and meeting with a million other vendors with no luck, I started reviewing the brochures I had received at bridal shows, and stumbled upon hers again. Surprisingly enough her prices weren't all that steep compared to similar quality photographers in the area AND she was willing to travel a couple hours to do our pictures! Once we met her, we knew without a doubt she was the one for us. (Just a back story, we always had a signal that we would do when we didn't like a vendor… a big X on the back of the other person… there were LOTS of those before we met Melissa!) We felt SO comfortable with her, and isn't that what good pictures are all about? Being relaxed, comfortable, and able to have a good time without making it looked forced? Anyways, the engagement session, which was rained out 3 times before we were able to actually have it (talk about dedication from her!) went amazing! She drove to the spot we wanted to use and shot for a good couple hours or so! We couldn't get enough compliments from our friends and family about how good they were! Then came the actual wedding. She brought another photographer with her, who I hadn't met so I was a bit nervous, and she was just as wonderful!!! Together we had lots of laughs and captured some really great moments. All of our family commented on how "unnoticed" she was at the wedding. She didn't feel the need to be up in people's faces, but still captured all the shots we wanted and then some! We all knew she was there, but she never once made pictures forced or awkward.

I would HIGHLY recommend Melissa Copeland Photography to any bride that wants fun, good quality pictures. If you're looking for cookie cutter or posed pictures then she is not for you… you gotta have some personality!!! Oh, and if you are up for it, do the "first look"… it was one of the best moments of the entire wedding, and you don't even notice photographers are there!

From the first day we met with Melissa she always went out of her way to accommodate us-she drove out of her way to meet us, helped make a package to fit what we wanted, and always had a very cheerful demeanor. melissa was the photographer at my wedding last summer and she did an amazing job. she was very professional yet very laid back. it was like she had been in our family the whole time. the pictures were amazing and so creative. i am so glad i chose her as our wedding photographer and can't wait for her to photograph the other important events in our life as well.

Melissa did an excellent job on my daughter's senior pictures!! We went to several different locations in Terre Haute and her choices were great. Brianne brought her younger brother as a "prop" and the pictures of them together are amazing!! I would recommend her to anyone for any photography job that they need done.

We hired Melissa to do our engagement photos and our wedding, and as the biggest single investment we made in our wedding we are so happy to say it was way, way worth it.
When we did our engagement photos, she knew exactly what we wanted, the types of photos to do and the places to go. There was no stopping in the middle at times to think about what to do next, because she is a total pro at this. We went from one place to the next place to the next place and got absolutely everything in that we wanted with no delays and no hassles at all. We even tried some new things that she was totally open to and had great ideas about.
At the wedding, I realized later that I hardly even saw her or her assistant. She made herself inconspicuous yet got all the shots we needed and wanted perfectly. My family also commented how great the photographer was. We just got the wedding photos and they are fabulous.
Melissa has an awesome business going for wedding photos and I would recommend her to anyone. Her website is so professional and helpful. She has tons of ideas and she is super organized. She let us focus on our wedding and all those details while leaving the photos to her. To us, it was the (or certainly a top) most important thing for the day and yet it was the least of our worries. Now that we have the photos, we are so happy we were right and that we hired her. Thank you SO much!

Melissa was great to work with. We had a destination wedding and she made herself available any time that we wanted pictures taken, not just the day of the wedding. The only negative aspect of the entire experience was that some pictures were lost in the process but it was not Melissa's doing.

I absolutely LOVE Melissa Copeland! She's super flexible and is just about the easiest person to work with...you'll love her for sure =) Oh and I shouldn't forget to mention that my pictures from the wedding were to die for!!!!

She offered the best service compared to others in my area. We got two amazing photographers and all of our photos on a flash drive at the end. It was all better than i could've ever hoped for.

I really enjoyed working with Melissa. I especially loved the way she directed us during pictures both in the engagement session as well as the wedding. She was very organized and efficient, yet relaxed at the same time. We are really happy with the way the pictures turned out.
The only thing that I was a little unhappy about was the promptness of sending engagement and wedding pictures. Both were a couple weeks later than what she had said they would be. However, it was a June wedding, and I know that is a busy time.
I would definitely recommend Melissa. She is very creative, helpful, and great photographer!

Melissa was great! The only issue was that it took 7 weeks longer than what the contract stated to get our photos back. It was also a little difficult to get a hold of her via e-mail. The photos were well worth the wait though!

Melissa Copeland was a pleasure to work with during our wedding planning. She was very accommodating of our requests and very organized the day of the event! I would definitely recommend her as a wedding day photographer!
