We worked with Media Entertainment, specifically with Yahaira Ferrer as our DJ, for our wedding this past February in San Juan and we could not be happier with our experience! Yahaira was professional, punctual, and flexible to our needs. We had a blended wedding/reception with both a Hindu ceremony and Western traditions and Yahaira did a wonderful job ensuring that all of our needs were met. She did a great job keeping the energy going all night long - every single guest was on the dance floor!

Legendary DJ !
We truly couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. Josue and his team were amazing from start to finish.
Because we were planning a destination wedding at Antiguo Casino de San Juan, it meant so much that he met with us in person three months before the wedding to walk us through the entire process. That level of care and professionalism immediately put us at ease, and from then on he was incredibly organized, responsive, and just so easy to work with.
Music was really important to us since our families come from different cultures, and he blended Afghan, Spanish, and international hits so seamlessly. Every transition felt natural and thoughtful. He read the room perfectly — the dance floor was packed all night and we didn’t need to make a single request. Every song just hit.
He also handled our uplighting at the Antiguo Casino, which completely transformed the space and added such a beautiful, warm energy to the room once the party started.
If you want someone professional, culturally intuitive, and genuinely invested in your day, Josue is your person. Five stars without hesitation.

First of all, I am so happy that I found a DJ from Caguas, because that is where my wife and her family are from. Second, Josue was THE BEST DJ!!!! He understood the assignment!!! Josue Cruz “DJ Joshua” and Yahaira Ferrer make the perfect team bringing you professionalism, flexibility, energy, and amazing vibes throughout your event. Not only do they cater it just for you but if there’s any hiccups throughout the event they will take care of it INSTANTLY. We requested instrumental music during dinner and they hit it out of the park with just a short list of our favorite genres. This shows you that they have tons of experience and know how to read the crowd as dinner finished they kicked off the dance floor with one of our favorite songs the transitioning to every other song was just a master piece. Trust me when I type this, because I don't usually write reviews but they were so wonderful to work with it warranted it. Yahaira was AMAZING to work with. They take their role of making people dance very seriously (and that is what you want). We had a vision for the music and the evening and they executed it exactly like we wanted. Bonus is they have an ideal set up for inside or outside weddings and likely know the area and your other vendors (example, they knew where the power set up was in our hotel to bring extra long extension chords and knew our pastor so mic-ed up up accordingly)
If you want one less thing to worry about for your wedding or event, hire this team.

Fantastic DJ for a fun reception!
DJ Yara did a fantastic job for our wedding at Hacienda Siesta Allegre in Rio Grande. Our previous DJ backed out a month before the wedding, and we were so lucky DJ Yara was availible on short notice! She was very professional and gathered all the details she needed, and gave us the breakdown of how the day would go.
We provided a large playlist on Spotify swinging between Reggaetón, 2000's pop-punk, ABBA, and everything in-between for the reception; but DJ Yara knew exactly how to read the crowd and play the right songs at the right time to keep the energy up or slow it down at just right times. She was even able to use an acoustic cover of the song for the Mother-Son dance that was only posted on Youtube, maintaining her real attention to detail. I would absolutely recommend Media Entertainment and DJ Yara to anyone getting married in Puerto Rico!

We used Media Entertainment for our 2/19/23 wedding and could not recommend them more! We used their services for our ceremony at La Rogativa, the cocktail hour in the patio, then our reception at hotel el Convento. Josue and Yara are amazing! The did my ceremony and dance music. The transitions was awesome and flawless. I had a list of songs for him to play but also told him to play whatever based on the crowd. Some of our family members don’t dance so he was able to keep the fun going for some of us. My family enjoyed the Photo Booth a lot. The template and Ba kground pics were great! Yara had a lot props for the pictures as well! She even sent us a link to all the Photo Booth pictures! Worth it! Would definitely recommend them. And get both DJ and photobooth.

We hired Yara for our destination wedding in Puerto Rico and it was one of the best decisions we made. Coming from Minnesota, we wanted to make sure we were able to connect with someone on a fun, exciting level that we were on. As well as someone who could understand our needs and importances. Yara was very professional right away and was excited to work with us. We even flew to PR a few months prior and met with her! She was very kind in answering all of our questions. The booth setup and ceremony audio set up looked beautiful. Also the microphone & stand for our officiant was very nice to have! She took all of our song requests, including some from our guests the night of! The dance floor PACKED all night with all ages!! Yara was also an amazing emcee with lots of energy. We sent her certain things to announce and she nailed it. Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without her. I highly recommend!!!

It was great working with Josue and Yahaira. They were organized, easy to communicate with during the planning phase, and reasonably priced. The night of the wedding, Josue did a great job keeping the energy level high and had everyone on the dance floor. 10/10 experience, would recommend and use again!

Yahaira was amazingly flexible. My wedding had to be postponed twice due to COVID but she was always kinds and flexible in the final date. She was a great MC and kept everyone, specially me, dancing all night. Highly recommend.

These guys are AWESOME
When my wedding planner heard I'd hired Media Entertainment she was so excited. She's worked with them before and assured me they'd be amazing. She was right. We got the full monty: ceremony music, cocktail hour music, reception music , karaoke AND photo booth. I'd hire them again, no question. And yes, the photo booth was a HUGE hit. To add the icing on the cake, they made an album on Facebook of the photobooth pictures. It's so amazing to see ppl enjoying your big day in retrospect. Thank you, Media Entertainment.

Josue and Yara were absolutely incredible - if you are having a wedding in Puerto Rico, please look no further and book them for a dream experience!! I had a destination wedding and reached out to Josue & Yara late in the planning process- they were so organized, more responsive than any other vendor, and found EVERY obscure song we asked for. This duo was a good time! I did not have the chance to meet with the DJ, but I met the wife and she noted everything. To my surprise the wife also DJs so that was pretty cool! They both work professional and efficient. They kept our guests of all ages dancing! Needless to say, dance floor was never empty. The wife did great with the design I desired to have for our photo booth stripes. We did a combo package of Music + Photobooth.

Thank you media entertainment for your flexibility and ability to handle our unique needs for our Serbian/Puerto Rican wedding!! I gave them a list of folklore Serbian songs that’s are hard to find because the titles don’t translate well to English and they accommodated this well. The Perfect Duo!
These guys are great! We had them DJ our wedding back in April 26, 2019. I am so happy I hired Media Entertainment to DJ our wedding. Josue and Yahaira are easy to work with, very responsive to messages, and most importantly, were excellent DJs that had everyone dancing all night long. I am from PR, but live in Baltimore, so planning a "destination" wedding was very stressful. One vendor I had no issues with was Media Entertainment. I did not know them prior to hiring them and made my decision solely on the reviews I read on this website. I am so glad I did! The were great to work with and affordable. Mas importante aun la misma gente me lo decia que la música estuvo buenísima, que se lo disfrutaron un monton, no solamente los jóvenes, sino también los de Estados Unidos y los mayores también. El logo personalizado con el proyector estuvo espectacular. Siempre respondian nuestras dudas y preguntas con prontitud, cosa que apreciamos mucho ya que planificamos toda la boda desde NY y planificar a distancia es un dolor de cabeza. A fun night to remember...
Josue and his wife Yahaira were great, they made of our crazy mixed wedding a night to remember! For starters my husband is a “country music fan from West Virginia and I am a latin music lover from Puerto Rico, therefore you can only imagine the wild range of music we had going on. Yet, Josue found all the songs we requested, he made the song transitions go smooth and natural. Everybody felt comfortable and had lots of fun, they definitely had a song for everybody. We dance all night long and I even notice a couple of non-dancing guest shaking their hips with his music. Thanks Media Entertainment for making our wedding a fun one to remember, thanks for providing us with all we asked, even when we gave you very little guidance. I really appreciate the little details like taking the time to come and say goodbye at the end of the night and making sure I was pleased with your services. His setup look great, very upscale and organized, they look very professional and well dress as well. I definitely recommend their services, they were simply amazing, very friendly, affordable, very easy to work with, and very professional!

Josue was the perfect DJ for our wedding. We discussed with him, months before the wedding, what we would like for our wedding. My husband being from Tennessee and me from Puerto Rico, we gave him a guide of what songs we wanted, and he did a perfect mix of styles for us. Josue and Yahaira ARE A POWER COUPLE, and if you are having an event, YOU NEED to contract them. They are extremely professional, knowledgeable and simply GENIUSES!!! Their combine talent is superior to anything I had ever seen. They make sure your vision come to reality in the most exquisite way, and their management of the event is just superb. I had an amazing time at my wedding. He gave a good mix of music and also took requests from guests. The DJ booth was designed with my husband's and my initials. It was elegant and matched with my invitation's monogram.

Josue is a master at his craft. He made sure to cater our wedding's music to our liking and cared for everyone at the reception to have a great time (and they did!). Our guests danced non-stop, from the first song to the last. We couldn't have had a better DJ. Not only he make it a fun reception, he made us feel at ease from the moment we spoke to him for the first time. Josué was professional, responsive and well prepared for our event. We would definitely recommend him and hope we have an event in the future where we can have him again.

Josue was the best! He was recommended by our wedding planner Krizia Diaz. We hosted the wedding at a venue that provided us with a list of vendors, which is how I (mother of the bride) selected Krizia and then I trusted her to the end of the earth! She provided me with 2-3 DJ's and I contacted all of them. Josue was responsive, professional and I knew Krizia had worked with him and she guaranteed me that I would be 100% pleased. I liked his written protocols which captured all of the Who does what and When! It organized all of the details for us. We provided Josue with a list of music and I was impressed with what he did, he not only played the list I THINK he recognized the type of music the MIXED guests responded to and he went with it. What a professional you are, Josue! In addition to the music, he brought along a photo booth, nice touch!

I had my wedding in Puerto Rico because that is where I am from, but my husband's family and our closest friends were coming from the US. I wanted everybody to enjoy the party equally and they did just so. Josue was absolutely amazing. He played an unbelievable variety of music that it was almost impossible to stop dancing, Everybody had a blast and people were able to interact like one huge family. I was extremely lucky to have worked with josue and his team, they were extremely professional and made my wedding day very special. I would 100% recommend him and his company!!! I am so grateful that they were part of our big day

Amazing DJ. The entire party danced all night long and he knew how to keep everybody entertained at all times. I would highly recommended his services for any occasion.

Last year, my husband and I began planning our destination wedding, which compromised about 26 people (including us). I am from PR and he is from CO, so we were looking for “bilingual DJ services”. Through wedding wire I contacted Media Entertainment and other DJ services to compare service prices for our wedding. Media Entertainment had the most reasonable prices and (on top of that) were the most efficient in responding on a timely manner. Most of the other DJ’s that we contacted took their sweet time on responding and prices weren’t as great. Anyways, we ended up selecting Media Entertainment and we dealt with Josue. He was very attentive, professional and overall great. The day of our wedding, my husband and I couldn’t have been happier with the service that was provided by them. Josue set up everything a few hours before the wedding, which was great! They aren’t running on island time, which is not always bad, but when it comes to important things like weddings, work, etc… reliability is a must. Moreover, the music played by our DJ (Edward) was of excellent choice! The music he selected had everyone dancing! Edward was very friendly, attentive, open to music request and a very good DJ. Overall, we would definitely recommend Media Entertainment for any event that requires music, since they are very efficient, attentive, professional, easy to work with, know their stuff/music and have great DJ’s!

Great Dj keeps the crowd going!!!. Good at doing mixes. Played great music for each moment of wedding. Also, he was always available when we had questions or changes at last moment. Hes fully bilingual which was a plus for us.

The best DJ and MC ever!!! Our wedding was at the El Conquistador in Fajardo, PR. We are from Ft. Lauderdale and were very concerned about planning a destination wedding without a planner. Media Entertainment was extremely professional and more importantly, they were TALENTED!! The DJ provided live mixing and salsa lessons! It was amazing. He played relevant music and kept everyone dancing all night. I would highly recommend his services in PR and south florida!! I've been to several weddings where the DJ just played a song list, but not this DJ. All of our guests said our wedding was the best wedding they have ever been to thanks to Media Entertainment!!!

I loved how my DJ was on time he new what to do at the right time .... He never played a bad song and made sure my husband and I were happy at all times. If I ever have a party in PR again I will call him ASAP no question asked...... Thank you

I know Josue (Media Entertainment) for more than two years, is the resident DJ of where I work. I could not trust my wedding music to anyone else. The service provided is excellent and professional, unsurpassed quality, the best prices, personal attention. Never thought I'd feel so calm to be the DJ service for my wedding. Josue made every effort to accommodate our requests. Also covered all musical requests of my guests. I recommend it 100%
