Great ceremony!

Rev. Larry married us at the end of May 2022. He was very personable and helpful in guiding us through the process. He gave some valuable advice which helped us make some important decisions about the ceremony. He was flexible. While he has a lovely ceremony that he typically uses, he also honored our desire to insert our own vows into the ceremony, and it all flowed perfectly. We could tell that he takes real joy in performing marriages. We highly recommend Rev. Larry.

Larry made the both of us feel very comfortable and not nervous at all. He made our ceremony very personal to us. He involved both of our families since this was second marriage for both of us. He talked about bringing all these families together with our marriage. He brought both spiritual and Christian aspects together. Everyone was very impressed with our ceremony. Highly recommend.

Wonderful!!!

Rev. Goyda is such a wonderful Ordained Minister/Wedding Officiant! He is super friendly, caring, genuine, and actively listened to my husband and I. When we first met him, he took my husband and I for coffee and we discussed all the details, he even incorporated our pet into the service! I have only GREAT things to say about Rev. Goyda! He is an amazing person to include on your wedding day!

I would absolutely recommend reverend Goyda to anyone. He is a very caring individual and made sure we were comfortable on our big day!

Reverend Goyda is such a fun and friendly guy. He made our ceremony fun for everyone and got all of the guests involved. He made sure the whole day went smoothly and was very caring towards us on a day that we already felt nervous and anxious.

My wife and I chose Rev. Larry Goyda as our officiant for our service in 2002, it was one of the best decisions of the wedding planning process. As we were not connected to a specific faith community at that time, we had decided to get married at Betsy Cheeseman's wedding barn at McConnel's Mills State Park. My wife was and is a strong Christian, and I was still in a exploring phase of my faith journey. Rev. Larry's experience was invaluable in planning the service and vows. It was important that we have a spiritual service, that was non-traditional in structure and fit our personalities. Larry knew exactly where we wanted to go and helped lead us to the perfect result. He came to the table with a detailed plan of how the service should go, and we were able to make small additions with specific readings that were meaningful to us. The end result was a solemn, appropriate and extremely meaningful, and fun, experience that matched both our personalities. Few things are as important to us as that day, and not everything else went according to plan, but if you are looking for an officiant, we highly recommend Rev. Larry for anyone in a situation similar to ours. God bless you on your journey together!

We can not thank Larry enough for his professionalism, talent, and sincerity. Larry came highly recommended by one of our vendors. We had a small elopement-style wedding in Pittsburgh with <30 days to plan it. We made all of the arrangements with Larry while out of state and he was super easy to work with! We met Larry two days before the wedding and thank goodness! He helped us prepare for the ceremony and helped me through the emotional moments of acknowledging relatives that could not be with us on our special day. Larry will always have a special place in our hearts. Thank you!

11 years ago, Larry officiated our wedding. He was compassionate, caring, accommodating, and genuine. During the ceremony, we laughed and cried (happy tears of course) because he made it so personal for us. After the ceremony, many guests told us how unique and wonderful it was. Just yesterday, my husband and I attended a wedding that Larry officiated. Larry hasn't changed. He still is an authentic guy that continues to perform beautiful and meaningful ceremonies.

Larry was great for our wedding at Pittsburgh Center for the Arts. He was on time, professional, and patient with us during the rehearsal and ceremony. We ran late on our ceremony by switching the location at the very last minute, due to the weather cooperating, to an outdoor setting, Larry's experience and acumen lead the way allowing us to complete a meaningful ceremony that will be remembered forever. All of our guests commented on how well he spoke and how smooth the ceremony went. We are very happy that Larry was our officiant for our special day.

Larry was great. His standard ceremony is touching and beautiful, and can be adapted for either a secular or religious ceremony (we requested a totally secular service, and he cheerfully obliged). I love the way he emphasizes the formation of a new family, and the friendship that is the foundation of a good marriage. I'm not a very sentimental person, but the words he said at our wedding meant a lot to me. Many of our guests commented on what a good job he did. He was a very calming presence on our important day.

My husband and I reached out to Larry after being referred to him by a family member. Neither one of us practice a specific religion - my husband was raised Catholic and my mother was raised Catholic and father raised Jewish, so I grew up learning about both religions and traditions. I was a little nervous about finding an officiant that would allow the customization I wanted in our wedding ceremony without using a Justice of the Peace. Larry was AMAZING! He was so flexible and more than willing to incorporate the special traditions that we wanted to include and he also added some unique things of his own that really made our ceremony special. He was so easy to work with and whenever I had a question, he was very responsive. We initially met with Larry and he reviewed his general ceremony and we discussed the things important to us as well. I spoke to Larry a few more times on the phone just to go over the order of everything when it was coming down to finalizing the details. I would also like to point out that we got married at Heinz Chapel, which has a very strict 60 minute allocation for the ceremony (and/or after ceremony photos) - Larry did an incredible job of keeping our ceremony at an appropriate amount of time - it wasn't too short and wasn't too long and we had plenty of time afterwards to get all of our pictures in as well. Our guests continually tell us how much they loved our ceremony and we felt that the ceremony really made our wedding day special. During our ceremony, our two year old ring bearer got a little anxious and stir-crazy, and Larry did a great job of creating an atmosphere that made the issue a little more bearable for everyone!

I would definitely recommend Larry to anyone looking for a spiritual officiant in the Pittsburgh area - you won't be disappointed!

A lot of people tend to focus on the reception when planning a wedding but for me, the ceremony was the entire point of the wedding so it was extremely important to me that the ceremony be true to our relationship and be meaningful! Rev Larry is a very warm and friendly man, making him instantly likeable by guests. Our ceremony was able to be tailored to us, for example we are not very religious people so he was able to leave the religious parts out. At a lot of weddings that I've attended the rev/priest/minister tends to talk for what feels like hours about things that are not pertainent to the couple or ceremony... This is not the case with Rev Larry! Rev Larry went over everything with us prior to the ceremony (we did not have a rehearsal dinner), everything that was said was tailored to our wants/needs and it was all very meaningful! After the ceremony I got several compliments including "what a loving ceremony" and "what a beautiful reading" ! If you want a thoughtful/meaninful ceremony we highly recommend Rev. Larry!

We found Larry through the recommendation of a family friend. Our friend had been to a few weddings that Larry officiated and told us that all of those ceremonies were unique and special to each couple. We decided to book him and I'm very glad that we did because he created a ceremony for us that was absolutely perfect. Since my husband and I have different religions, we wanted to have a more universal ceremony that would bring all of our beliefs together. Larry's ceremony did just that. And after finding out that my husband's family is from Guatemala, he even asked if during the ceremony he could wear a special vest that he owned that was from Guatemala. We loved the idea and I think it helped to make our ceremony extra special!

Since my husband and I live in Philadelphia, we were worried about what officiant we would get and how meaningful we would be able to make it. But after meeting Larry, we really felt at ease with the whole thing. He went through the ceremony with us, explained the meaning of each part, and also asked us about ourselves and our lives together. He used that information to make a beautiful ceremony that was really about us. He even remembered that we had a cat and mentioned her during the ceremony!

We received so many compliments after the ceremony saying how beautiful it was and how perfect it was for us. Even our family members who originally wanted us to get married in a strict Catholic ceremony said that everything Larry said was a wonderful!

I would recommend Larry to any couple who is seeking a wedding ceremony that reflects them as a couple and the life that they will build together!

I should start by stating that we did not have a traditional wedding. Even though my wife and I had talked about what we wanted on our wedding day, the actual planning only took about three weeks from the time we booked the location to the actual wedding. By design we wanted a “surprise” wedding. Meaningful Marriages and Larry played such an important role in pulling this off that the day would have only been a fancy backyard picnic without him. Larry helped guide us through and ensure that all the right processes and paper work were done (we live in NY, and got married in PA), so that the wedding day could be memorable for all the right reasons. There were so many little things that because of his experience and knowledge, made planning and coordinating that much easier. Larry’s attitude and demeanor helped alleviate the stresses that can arise on a wedding day. He socialized with the other guests, as to not let them know his role in what was about to happen. The actual ceremony was wonderful. His knowledge and experience ensured that great picture moments during the service were plentiful. Kristina and I were extremely pleased with the ceremony. We had several guests also comment on how lovely they thought the wedding ceremony was. From the great insight and guidance leading up to the ceremony to all the requests that we had; Larry was instrumental in creating the wedding day memories that we will cherish for our lifetime. Rev. Larry Goyda is incredible. He was everything I could have requested; friendly, calming, caring, AND professional. He is a veteran and can literally handle any situation... One of my bridesmaids forgot her reading and had to leave the podium and grab it... out of her purse... in the last pew in the church...yes, that actually happened! Larry picked up without a beat and told an endearing wedding joke that saved the day! It was such a memorable and sweet moment! A bunch of guests came up to me throughout the evening to mention how much they liked the ceremony and how great of a job Larry did. He is an amazing officiant. I would recommend him to anyone.

Rev. Larry Goyda was beyond incredible. We found him online a month before our wedding, after our previous pastor backed out on us. He agreed to perform our wedding for us that very same day. He met with us the following week to go over the service with us. He was friendly, professional, and personable. Our service could not have gone any better. Not only was everything that Rev. Goyda said perfectly picked out and meaningful, but the service was also strewn with personalization fitting for my wife and I. After the ceremony my father came up to both myself, and Rev. Goyda to tell us that it was the nicest, and most meaningful ceremony he had ever attended...and he wasn't the only person to come up to us to say so. At least ten people came up to us to say it was the nicest ceremony they had been to, and about another 30 made a point to mention how nice the ceremony was thanks to Rev. Goyda. I don't think there's a better officiant out there. Rev. Goyda cares about the people he marries, the ceremony he performs, and constructs his ceremonies with love, and personalization. I HIGHLY recommend Rev. Goyda to anyone and everyone that wants the best ceremony possible. THANK YOU REV. GOYDA!

I had attended several weddings in 2013 conducted by the Rev. Larry Goyda. No matter what the circumstances, a nervous mother of the bride/groom, a 23 degree winter wonderland event, or language barriers between friends and family, he brings all the focus to the bride and groom. Guest don't feel like they are watching an event but participating in the meaning of the day. I call it alchemy.

Rev. Goyda officiated our marriage in October 2005, and I just booked him again to do our 10 year vow renewal ceremony next fall. I could not imagine renewing our vows without Rev. Goyda being there to perform them again. Not only is he one of the nicest people you'll meet, he is very good at what he does. Our ceremony vows were beautiful, and he delivered them perfectly. He engaged the audience, and we had many compliments about him afterwards. He is easy to relate to, funny, and kind. I was very happy with our experience with Rev. Goyda and very much look forward to working with him again.

Rev. Larry Goyda was a wonderful officiant for my wedding. He took the time to meet with us prior to the wedding day and really spent time going over the ceremony and every detail so that we felt comfortable. Rev. Goyda also braved ten degree temperatures to make my dream of an outdoor winter wedding ceremony a reality. We can't recommend Larry enough! We were attending a wedding of a family member where Larry was the officiant. Half way through we look at eachother and said "we have to get him!" We talked to Larry after the ceremony and booked him immediately. Larry is a kind, gentle, thoughtful, engaging, and overall a wonderful human being. Our service was so unique, special, and meaninful, there was not a dry eye in the venue. Larry incorporated my son inro the ceremony as well as our dog who was in the wedding. If you are looking for a warm, intimate, and very personal wedding ceremony please stop your search. Larry provided a beautiful and truly memorable ceremony. We had a very simple ceromony for our 2nd wedding in September. Larry was awesome!! He made it so personable and suggested and added alot to the ceromony things we didnt even think of. He was also calm and made everyone especially us feel relaxed and comfortable. He made our day special and memorable.

Rev. Goyda officiated our wedding ceremony. We didn't want a religious affiliation and he was able to create a wedding ceremony that was absolutely beautiful. We were married on top of Mt. Larry Goyda was a wonderful officiant for our wedding. We only met him once as we didn't have a wedding party. I was worried that I would forget everything on our wedding day; however, he is so calm and professional that everything went very smoothly and gracefully. He really listens to you and the ceremony reflects that. Our guests still talk about how personal and different our wedding ceremony was with Larry officiating. It was a relaxed and joyous affair. Larry was the first but not the last officiant I called for our short notice wedding. He was eager to help with ideas that worked for my husband and I as well as my father. due to him being suck with can we I didn't know what would be appropriate for my dad on e the date rolled around.

My husband and I are very no traditional and there were things we did and did not want in our ceremony. Larry was great about this!

Larry also helped with ideas and suggestions which is why we decided on having our ceremony in our home. Initially this wasn't ideal but there was only my husband and I and our parents, sister, and nephew. He even charged us less than his usual rate once he realized how small our wedding was! Overall very personal and he helped us make our wedding be everything that it was! He took a group photo for us and he even hung around afterwards and talked with everyone! (he was invited so this is completely professional)

I've suggested him to any couple I've ever spoken to about weddings because he was beyond fantastic!

We were not looking for an overly religious ceremony but something that resenbled the two of us. Larry helped us customize our ceremony and even add a handfasting tradition that I very much wanted incorporated. Larry has a great heart and was always great company. I felt that he respected our religious believes and understood our wishes for our day. Larry has a great understanding of spirituality and he took the time to get to know us as a couple and converse with us. He was the perfect fit. We planned to marry in a hot air balloon, but the ride was cancelled the day before our wedding. We called Larry that day and he not only agreed to marry us the next day, but he also found us a beautiful place to have our ceremony at short notice, and found our photographer. Although the day was not as we had originally planned, we would not trade being married at home with our children, with such heartfelt vows, on top of a hill overlooking the city of Pittsburgh on one side, and Kennywood Park on the other. WOW!!! Larry is GREAT!!! We had a small ceremony at my parents home and I really didn't expect much since I just found Larry on the internet. He went "above and beyond" to make me and my fiance feel comfortable and to ensure that our ceremony was something we will never forget!!! Two of our friends on the South Side mentioned Larry’s name when we told them we were getting married. After looking at his website, we gave him a call and met for lunch. We laughed, we cried, we shared a meal, and after a few hours, we left as friends. Larry was a very fun, personal, and, as the name of his website implies, meaningful officiant for our wedding. We were specifically impressed with how easily he could cater the service to our beliefs. He was very attentive to the details that we discussed beforehand, and was able to suggest readings that suited the location of the wedding, our style, and the mood we wanted to evoke. Larry was amazing! He is absolutely unique among any wedding officiants that I've ever heard of. When we sat down together at the coffee shop, he was very casual and friendly. He made us feel at ease immediately talking casually about our families, our beliefs, and the kind of wedding we were having. As we talked about all the different ways that we could make our wedding special, Larry suprised us with how professional he was and really showed his experience when he recommended different ceremonies and readings that would work for us. We figured out a general layout for the entire wedding ceremony and he gave us copies of everything that we decided on for any specific word changes.

The rehearsal went quickly without any snags. He was very patient with the entire wedding party and made sure that everyone knew exactly what they were doing before we left.

On the day of our wedding, Larry showed up about 2 hours before the ceremony and did another quick run-through with us and made sure that we were all drinking enough water to stay hydrated. It was a beautiful day, but REALLY HOT (July 3rd), so when we asked Larry to make a few last-minute modifications to shorten the ceremony, he knew exactly where and when to cut. It turned out to be an amazing outside wedding, full of what was important to us and our families, emotion, and just the right length. Larry was even kind enough to stick around for some pictures afterwards.

My wife Sarah and I would highly recommend him. It's something special when you get that combination of professional and personable, and Larry's got it in spades. We couldn't imagine having gone with anyone else.

We met Larry for the first time on a rainy February evening at a coffee shop and could sense his compassion and caring attitude right away. As we approach our second anniversary I thought of Larry. He made our ceremony the spiritual, intimate, beautiful wedding of our dreams. My husband and I threw a 1940's Party in 2009 and surprised our guests by getting married, in our living room, during the event. Larry was so flexible he even dressed up for the occasion and pretended to be a family friend until we made our announcement. The guests still talk about the beautiful Indian Blessing he read during the ceremony. We followed up the event with a Catholic ceremony but still feel the ceremony Larry performed was our TRUE wedding.....both legally and spiritually. Thanks Larry. PS. We are still madly in love.

One of the best decisions we made while preparing for our wedding was hiring Larry Goyda as our Officiant. Larry, Luba and I can not thank you enough for all that you did for us. My wife is Ukrainian Orthodox, and we couldn't have been happier how you incorporated some of their traditions into our service. The two of us could not have been happier to find that not only did you incorporate the traditions of my wife's church, but you had also done research into the meaning of the traditions we had placed into the service.

Larry was a breath of fresh air and a reality check. When you are planning a wedding there is so much to do, and wedding planning has become such an industry. This can cause you to forget about the marriage that you are entering. Instead of pondering the lifelong commitment, often you're just thinking about the best way to organize and beautify the most expensive party you will ever throw. This is where Larry gets you back on track. Larry takes the time to meet with the bride and groom, reviews information, gets to know you, and truly opens your eyes to the beauty of the ceremony. Believe me, before I met Larry, all I really cared about was the reception, the 'party' aspect of the day. I initially told my husband I just wanted to go to the Justice of the Peace for the ceremony. I am so glad he didn't want that, and that we were lucky enough to have Larry referred to us. Larry met with us (at our convenience, as we live in the DC area) over the Christmas Holiday, and took the time to get to know us and explain the ceremony. I actually remember fighting back tears the first time we met with him. I didn't want to look like a sap, so I choked them back, but that was the moment I realized this ceremony meant something. So, I thank Larry for opening my eyes to the beauty of it all. Larry also made our ceremony personalized and unique. For example, he mentioned our two cats by name. I know it sounds silly, but we got a kick out of it, as did our guests. Larry is a great guy and a truly sensitive person. He is also accommodating and reasonably priced, for those of you interested in the practicalities.

Larry was great! We went with his traditional service that coincidentally incorporated everything we wanted in our nuptials. Our simple backyard wedding had class and style, all due to Larry's beautiful ceremony. I would suggest practicing the "hand holding" part. My husband couldn't get it to save his life, but his goofs only made things more memorable. Thanks again Larry! p.s. Sorry it took so long to write this review. Shortly after the wedding we started house hunting and after the move, I found out I was pregnant and had a horrible first trimester.

Rev. Goyda a service that was spiritual but also very inclusive. He met with us and called us several times before the wedding to go over what we wanted. The ceremony was beautifully done--his best suggestion was part of the ceremony where we gave small flowers to mothers and grandmothers--and when it was over he helped to distract the location's event coordinator as she was trying to hustle us out while we were taking pictures! We couldn't have had a better experience.

Rev. Goyda performed the ceremony for my wedding back in September of 2005. It's been almost three years, and anytime someone brings up my wedding, the first comment is always about how beautiful the ceremony was. My husband and I are so glad that we chose to go with Rev. Goyda. He was worth every dime and we'd make the same decision in a heartbeat. I'd definitely recommend his service if you're looking to have a personal and meaningful wedding ceremony.

We absolutely loved the ceremony provided by Rev. Goyda, and I am very happy that he was the person we chose to be our officiant. The ceremony he performs is beautiful, and he works with you to provide exactly what you're looking for. Larry was absolutely amazing. He was professional, friendly, courteous, and considerate of our personal beliefs. My guests commented on how great the ceremony was and how Larry made things flow together and "lightened" the mood. He was flexible with times and very understanding. I would highly recommend him.

My wife and I found Rev Goyda via an internet search for nondenominational officiants in the Pittsburgh area, and were pleased with our dumb luck in finding him so easily. He was very easy to reach via email and over the phone, and was flexible with his times when it came to meeting us, as we were planning the wedding from out of town. We enjoyed and appreciated meeting with him well in advance of the wedding to discuss specifics of the ceremony. I especially like that he has many pointers and ideas regarding the ceremony, for example pausing when the ring is placed on your finger, kissing a little longer, etc. This showed me that he is interested in your memories (i.e. photographs) of your big day, and not just performing a service and collecting a check.
Larry was extremely helpful in planning our ceremony considering that neither of us are particularly religious, but come from religious families. He worked with us to change the ceremony wording to reflect our particular needs. Most of all, I really appreciated how he thought to involve our young son in the ceremony, and make it about the bond of family as well as a couple.
Overall, Rev Goyda is professional, caring, flexible, and FUN! He did a lot to help ease our nerves at both the rehearsal and the ceremony.
I feel lucky and privileged to have invited him to perform our ceremony.

Rev. Goyda made our wedding day so special. He was so professional and you could tell he was very experienced in conducting marriage ceremonies. Our ceremony was so intimate and sincere, it was perfect. After, all of our guests raved about him and what he said. Our guests all said... "that was how a wedding ceremony should be!" We couldn't have asked for anything better, and he really made us feel at ease during the ceremony and made the guests a part of the ceremony as well. It was fantastic!

Rev. Larry Goyda was such a delight to work with! After our first meeting with Goyda, we knew he was what we were looking for. We wanted a more personal ceremony and Goyda delivered that and so much more. He is very easy going and never had a problem with any changes or ideas we wanted. To this day we are still hearing from our guests on how wonderful and so personal our ceremony was. We cannot thank Rev. Goyda enough for making our ceremony so memorable!

Larry was wonderful! Although he is a very busy man, he always made my husband and I feel number one. He ran our rehearsal for us and was early to everything :)

We are so glad that we found Larry to officiate our wedding. He did a wonderful job balancing my want for a secular wedding with my husband's want for some religious reference. Larry went over our ceremony and vows in detail with us, and allowed us to change things as we saw fit. His standard ceremony/vows has everything a person could want. An Apache prayer was included, which I thought was a beautiful touch. Our wedding was not very traditional, but even if yours will be, Larry is a great person to talk to and to work with. Neither my husband or I had much experience at weddings - even as guests! So Larry's knowledge was a wonderful asset to us. Likewise, he walked us through the actual ceremony like the consummate professional he is. As it turns out, he's married several people we know, and they all give rave reviews as well. Our family and friends all really liked him, and many commented on how great the ceremony was. Last but not least, Larry is just a fun, good guy.

My husband and I were very pleased with our experience with Larry. We felt that he made our ceremony extremely special and meaningful. It was important to us that our ceremony reflected our personalities and our relationship. He spent time with us prior to the ceremony getting to know us and making sure that we were happy with and comfortable with all aspects of the ceremony. Larry from Meaningful Marriages officiated my wedding and I was very happy. He was easy to work with and very personable. He did mess a few things up during the wedding ceremony (included our pets names, but said they were all dogs when some were cats, mixed up our readings - called the person who was supposed to do the second reading up first, no big deal, and also forgot half of the sand ceremony, etc.) but he made it work. We were very happy with him and received compliments from some of the guests, as well. He was the perfect amount of serious and fun... I felt very relaxed with him! :)

When we chose to have a wedding outside of the church, finding an officiant that would suite us as a couple and cater to the faith of our families became a significant concern. Two independent sources recommended that we contact Rev. Larry and we are glad that we did. He came with a general ceremony plan and then adjusted it beautifully to include God and our desires as a couple while leaving allowance to exclude pieces that did not suite us. On the wedding day he added small interjections to personalize the ceremony but never went so far to take away from us as a couple and the meaning of the day. I would absolutely recommend Larry to couples looking to keep formality of ceremony without being boxed in and still allowing for that personal touch.

Larry was an excellent choice for our minister. We wanted our wedding to be fun and a little non-traditional. Larry had a great sense of humor and I received many compliments from my guests. He made the ceremony personal and helped immensely by facilitating the entire ceremony so that it would run smoothly.

Rev. Larry was extremely nice, understanding, and accommodating for our interfaith wedding. There were a few hitches in the ceremony that annoyed me, for example encouraging that our first kiss last longer for photographers sake... I don't know about you, but when I was kissing my husband for the first time, I really didn't want or need any weird encouragement. Overall though, he was sweet and thoughtful and wore yellow socks, which made me smile :)

I will start off by saying our ceremony was nice... it was the length we wanted, the content was what we wanted, and our families enjoyed it. That being said, I still would NOT recommend Meaningful Marriages. Long story short- Larry was 35 minutes late for our first meeting with him (which I had to call and set up, even though he said he would). After 15 minutes of waiting, I had to call and remind him of this meeting and then wait for him to arrive. Even worse, he was 15 minutes late for our ceremony. My husband and I, as well as every member of our familes, arrived at the park 15 minutes before the ceremony was supposed to start, and he finally showed up 10 minutes after the agreed upon start time, blaming the delay on traffic. Not only that, he wasn't even ready for the ceremony- he had to crawl into the back of his van to change into wedding appropriate clothing. After the wedding he gave our paperwork to the best man and said he had to run because he had another wedding that evening in another part of town. But, when we left the park (after photos, chatting with the fam, etc.) he was still there talking to some random person. Two days after the ceremony my husband and I realized we never actually signed something and had a mini panic attack and called Larry to make sure we didn't need to- he never returned my call. It seems that lots of folks have had good experiences with Meaningful Marriages, but I wouldn't even consider recommending them after the unprofessionalism we had to deal with.

AWFUL! The only thing this man wants is money!!!!!! We booked him a year in advance the week before he told us he couldn't make it to our rehearsal because he wanted to "squeeze in" another wedding! We were furious! The day of the wedding the FIRST thing he asked me is where is my CHECK!!!!! No Congrats, No Hugs, nothing just where is my check...AWFUL AWFUL then as I (the bride) gets to the alter with my father he asked me what my NAME was!!!! The entire ceremony was joke and I would never ever recommend him!!!!! He is quick to respond and meet but is so full of crap and only wants your money....luckily are reception was beautiful!

Takes your money and does not respond!

Mr. Goyda took our money and ran. He didn't show up to an appointment with my fiance and I. We sent a confirmation meeting text a week prior to our meeting day, and Mr. Goyda ignored it. We waited for 45 minutes at a Panera Bread and he was a no show. Hours later my fiance got a text saying he mixed up the dates. What a joke. He claims he has been marrying people for 25 years. He should know better to be on time and SHOW UP TO HIS APPOINTMENTS. He doesn't answer phone calls or emails in a timely matter or sometimes not even at all. It took us numerous tries via phone and email and text to get ahold of him for our appointment. My fiance and I are very organized and like to be on top of things. That includes making sure of clear communication with all of our vendors for our important day. Of course he showed up on time for our first appointment, which was when he got paid in full. He does not respect his customers. He refused to give us our money back even though our venue tried to reason with him. He has been black listed from the Hilton Garden Inn in southpointe due to how we treated us. They took him off the recommended vendor list and he is banned from doing any marriage ceremonies there as well. We could not relay on him to show up for our big day and rehearsal, so we fired him as our officiant. After firing him, he sent us the most inappropriate and unprofessional email and saying that we were the problem even though we did everything asked of us. He should be ashamed of himself and how he conducts business. I would never ever recommend his services to anyone. He is extremely untrustworthy and most of all a THEIF!!!!
