She was super sweet and great to have around, too! They were able to stay an extra hour at the last minute too, which was great!

My wedding was in June, 2011 on Cape Cod and McElroy was wonderful on the big day. They came to the house we were getting ready at, and filmed the girls getting ready. They also sent a videographer to the guys house to film the groom and groomsmen get ready. Because of the extra videographer, one was also able to ride on the trolley with the wedding party and get great footage of all the fun. I can't say enough of how friendly, nice and unobtrusive they were all through the day. While dancing and taking formals, I knew they were there, but never felt like they were in the way at all.

Weeks after our wedding, we saw our trailer and were so pleased and excited to see the whole video! We just got our video (less than 7 weeks from our wedding date), and are so happy with the way it turned out! It's an amazing mix of creativity, while still respecting the most important parts of the wedding and keeping them authentic :) The editing during the other parts of the day made us feel like we were watching a movie...it's so fun! They even allowed us to purchase the original footage (all unedited) for a small price :) We were excited to see all the other amazing moments they captured.

I can't rave enough about what an amazing job McElroy films did! I would recommend them to anyone who's looking for a videographer that will not only capture their memories, but will also be fantastic to work with, and creates a video that captures the feelings and emotions of such a special day!

We could not be happier with the service we received from McElroy films. We got married in June of 2011. It was a beautiful beautiful day. Our videographer was Patrick and he was so kind, fun and calm. He and I spoke the day before our wedding and I told him a few things that were important to me such as specific shots/ things about getting ready at my parent's house etc. and he helped me think through the timing to make sure we caught those moments. He did an amazing job with an exceptional attention to detail. He just "got it" the type of wedding I described we were having and the sentimental value of the pre weddng getting ready taking place at my parent's house. I was so happy when we got the footage back that he captured so many details of the day and I did not even realize he was there most of the time! He was wonderful and we truly enjoyed working with him.

Ruth was our main contact before and after the wedding. She is a shining star in all of our wedding planning with our vendors. She is very kind, energetic, thorough, and communicative. Above all, she really really cares. My first conversation with her ( and a secondary conversation with the owner Ben, who is wonderful) is the reason I chose McElroy weddings. She sounded so excited about working with us and had so much experience. Throughout all communications with Ruth I feel she is genuinely invested in making sure their clients are prepared and get the finished product they want. I was a calm and happy bride on the day of but it is an event I have an emotional investment in so I had some ( ok, a lot!) of difficulty making decisions when it came to choosing our package and music decisions etc for the video. Ruth could not have been any nicer and more helpful to me. She took so much time with me and truly cared and went above and beyond.

We were hesitant to invest in videography because of our budget but so happy we did because now we have this wonderful, creative and artsy, yet classic video as a keepsake. We really love our video. It is wonderful quality and so fun and I can't believe how fast it came! I love everything from the trailer to the credits with the cute movie looking scenes playing on the side! Great, great job! Hiring McElroy Weddings Videography was hands-down, the BEST investment we could have made. They did such an AMAZING job and we are so glad to have the memories from our big day documented in this way. Ben was amazing! The quality of his work is only matched by the quality of his personality. Our photographer was late and Ben stepped right up and offered to take stills for us. His staff was very attentive to our needs and was very patient with us as we took a while to select songs for the video. The video was everything we wanted and more! This is the only video company you should use for your wedding, they are top notch in every aspect!

We could not have asked for better service or overall finished product from McElroy films. They were very professional, easy to work with and accommodating to all our needs. The finished film was amazing, they caught so many details of our wedding that we didn't know happened. I just received my wedding DVD and I love it! Ben McElroy got a lot of really great footage and moments. He is wonderful to work with, very professional, and very experienced.
