Max doesn't just take great shots, he makes you feel comfortable on your special day. He has pure natural talent with great work ethic. Max creates a vibe that not only gives you phenomenal pictures, but in those moments you don't even realize your taking a picture. You are having the time of your life and he captures it for you and creates a memory of a lifetime. Max gave us memories we will cherish forever. He scouted our area before our wedding to deliver the pictures we wanted, but also suggest ideas we would never thought of. It's not just the talent and knowledge he has, but the little details he pays attention to , takes your pictures to another level. -

It was a 95 degree day but he didn’t even sweat it
Max and his team were so wonderful, from our engagement shoot to the planning process and of course the wedding! He was responsive to all of my questions leading up to the wedding. He was amazing during the engagement shoot, I had the hardest time choosing from all of the amazing shots for my save the date! And on the actual wedding day, it was 95 degrees, he didn’t even break a sweat. He brought so much positivity and excitement for us. Got so many beautiful and creative shots of our day. I could stop smiling while making my albums for my family. Highly recommend Max and his team. -

We hired Maximilian Franz Photography for our annual conference, in the hopes of getting a few nice photos for use in our marketing. Our expectations were fully exceeded! Max was professional, communicative, timely, and thorough. He caught all of our requested shots, plus hundreds of beautiful candid shots as well. He really captured the spirit of the event in each photo! Max was also unobtrusive and not disruptive of the whole event, which made it so easy to have him there. After a great day on Saturday, he turned the photos around by first thing Monday morning, which was way faster than we could have ever imagined! Truly, working with Max was a pleasure from start to finish, and we now have hundreds of gorgeous photos that will help us grow our organization and strengthen our marketing. We could not recommend Max highly enough! -

Beautiful Experience
Max was awesome. He really took the time to capture every moment of our big day. He was just as into it as we were! So excited and happy for us. Would definitely recommend. Great price for over the top photos. Such a happy personality. We love max! He even let my brother use his camera to take a photo of me him and my husband. Very down to earth and animated at the same time about our big day. He got every angle! -

Max is EVERYTHING you could want in a wedding photographer and I cannot recommend him enough! I knew I wanted him to be our wedding photographer when we got engaged because I had worked with him before – including for my best friend’s wedding. In fact, it was so important to me that I cleared the date with him before we booked the date with our venue and I’m so glad that we did! Max really takes the time to get to know you and understand who you are as people and a couple so that he and his team can capture exactly what you want to make sure you have the most beautiful memories of your wedding day. For example, I was stressed out by the thought of creating a “must-have” photo list and he told me that was fine as I wasn’t paying him so that I would have to create a list of pictures for him to take (although if that is what the couple wants, he’s happy to do that too, as he did with my best friend – who also has the MOST gorgeous pictures). Instead, we talked about what, generally, was important to us and Max’s instincts are so incredible and he’s so experienced that he captured the day perfectly – including making sure that we had all the pictures that might typically go on a list as well as the very essence of who we are as a couple. He also scoped out the hotel, venue, and surrounding areas beforehand so that he already knew where we could take beautiful, unique photographs – including grabbing my husband and I for a few minutes during golden hour to take some AMAZING pictures in the fading sunlight. He and his team also didn’t stick out the way some photographers do – they blended as part of the wedding which I think is part of what makes the photos they are able to get so special. Bonus? About a month before our wedding I decided that I wanted a videographer at the wedding to create a short “highlight” video – and he got me an amazing team he worked with before – for THOUSANDS of dollars less than anyone I found. Bottom line: choose Max if you want a stress-free, amazing photographer who will make sure that your photographs are everything you could imagine to capture your special day! -

Incredible photos, great communication!
My husband and I were thrilled with our decision to have Max Franz photograph our Baltimore wedding. Max made sure to meet our goals for our wedding day, while capturing beautiful pictures in the process. One aspect that was most important to us was that we did not want to have a first look. Other photographers I spoke with suggested we re-consider for the sake of our pictures. Max was different; he didn’t push us towards incorporating a first look! Max assured us he could capture all of the images we wanted (including formal photos) in an efficient way. He definitely delivered on the wedding day! Max took pictures at 4 different locations on our wedding and had a calming presence throughout the whole day! Our photos turned out incredible, and we will continue to cherish them for years to come. Max said we would have TONS of photos, which he was right!
Max had great communication, meeting with us in person a few times, and he was easy to reach anytime I had a question. His experience of photographing weddings for many years makes him a great resource to have on our team! -

Fabulous Experience with Maximilian Franz!
Max is a fantastic photographer! Our pictures are unbelievable - Max seemed to be everywhere at once, taking TONS of bride/groom pictures, but also capturing all of the little moments our guests experienced.
Max was very flexible with timing and he did a great job of managing pictures with both sides of the family.

We used Max for our surprise wedding and could not have been happier with his services. We decided to get married last minute and was able to book Max quickly and at a great rate. He was excellent throughout the entire event - getting photos of me and my family, as well as great candid moments. The best part was that he sent me a few preview photos the next day, and all were fantastic! We cannot wait to receive the rest. Thank you Max for capturing the best day! -
Robert Sent on 08/21/2018I've known Max for a long time and have always been very impressed with his work as a photographer. When I got engaged, I knew that he was the one I wanted shooting the wedding, and as soon as I showed his portfolio to my fiancee, she agreed. We were thrilled when he was available and willing, even though the wedding was several hours from his usual geographic area. Max was a complete professional from our first meeting throughout the process, he got everything we wanted and a whole lot of stuff we didn't know we needed. He answered every question we had and his pricing was completely transparent and fair. During the wedding, he was incredibly easy to work with and gracious to all of our guests, including the super annoying ones who wanted to tell him how to do his job! We could not be more thrilled with the photos we got back and cherish them to this day. Thanks Max!

Kevin Sent on 08/21/2018Most talented and most well equipped for the best price. Friendly, experienced. A real wedding photographer who knows what the deal is. Don't just call your friend with a $600 dslr camera, theres so much more to it than that. Max knows how to keep the wedding flow moving along on the timeline you have for your day and knows all the shots necessary to remember your day fondly. Showed up early and stayed late, can't ask for much more than that!

Glinda Sent on 02/24/2014I would definitely recommend Max. Max worked by himself on my wedding day. I received over 700 shots to choose from but I don't remember seeing him take that many pictures. He blended in with the family and friends that were in attendance. He met me to visit the venue and mapped out a plan in his head well before my big day. He was very attentive and took shots that I never would have dreamed of. If you are camera shy he will pose you in the most amazing way that shows off your dress. He captured all the major moments of my life. He took my engagement and wedding photos and can't wait until he captures our first child. -

I have recommended Max to everyone I know! He’s wonderful! His pictures were gorgeous and the book he and his wife designed was special, unique, and I love displaying it. He was very available while I was planning and helped make suggestions for picture plans. He was fun and kind during the reception and I barely noticed him out on the dance floor but we have tons of great pictures of dancing. Hire him before someone else does! -
