Bosc and Brie were a dream to work with for our wedding!

Bosc and Brie were a dream to work with for our wedding! They were one of the catering options provided by our venue. We’d tasted their food before, and from our very first meeting their enthusiasm and flexibility won us over. We worked mainly with Sue, who was incredibly knowledgeable about our venue (Darby House). She was happy to accommodate even our slightly unorthodox requests, and was patient and affirming as we planned our Ohio wedding from California. She scheduled a private tasting for when we were in town, as we couldn’t make their normal scheduled event. We had great communication leading up to our big day, and she made sure to clarify everything her staff needed to know. They could accommodate our special menu requests for gluten-free, veggie/vegan, allergens, and kids. On our wedding day, she checked in with my now-husband and I make sure everything was on track. They set aside appetizers for us in the bridal suite so we could enjoy after pictures. The staff was friendly and courteous. All the guests loved the food! We had short ribs with mushroom onion demi-glaze, chicken supreme with lemon oregano sauce, green beans, and mac +cheese. The short ribs were probably my favorite, though the chicken was also great. All the food was hot and served very quickly all 150 guests. By default, plated meals are a duet plate with both entree selections, which made collecting RSVPs and making place cards very easy (no specific menu selections to mark). These were full size entrees, so it’s a generous portion of food! Surprisingly, I think the appetizers were an even bigger hit! We had a large selection, and Sue was helpful in deciding the correct quantity. Shrimp shooters and cocktail meatballs are a MUST (the pork belly canapé with also popular). Plates and cutlery and champagne glassware were included. Linens could also have been ordered, but our venue requires special linens so we opted to order through them. When we had to postpone from 2020 to 2021, the process was easy with no additional fees. Highly recommend Bosc and Brie!

Fantastic service

Everything was perfect for our wedding! Even with Covid, the planning process was super simple and everything went smoothly the day of. Everyone was helpful, professional, and friendly. Highly recommend!!

Delicious food. Great service.

We chose to work with Bosc + Brie because of all the services that they provide. We hired them to supply centerpieces, linens, silverware, glasses, servers, buffet dinner and hot and cold appetizers. Sue offered to provide the knife for cutting our cake and an easel for our guest book. The groom and I loved the fact that we could leave the venue at the end of the night and we didn’t have anything to box up, package, wrap, etc. We
would work with Bosc + Brie for other large events.

Wonderful caterer

Bosc & Brie handled our daughter’s reception at Bryn Du, and did a wonderful job. The food is amazing, especially the short ribs (very tender beef that melts in your mouth). We also had the lemon oregano chicken, parslied potatoes and seasonal vegetables which were all delicious. We received many compliments on the food. Bosc & Brie does so much more than prepare the food. They brought everything they needed to serve the food, set everything up and then cleaned everything at the end of the night. We had the cocktail hour in the mansion and the reception in the fieldhouse so they had two locations to deal with which wasn’t easy. Their helpful crew even moved chairs from the ceremony site to the fieldhouse. We borrowed some of their wedding décor items which was a huge help. Leah was our event coordinator and was wonderful to work with. We highly recommend Bosc & Brie!

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Leah is incredible.

Bosc + Brie catered our wedding reception at the Cultural Arts Center and provided top notch service. Our venue was absolutely phenomenal, but is a public art space first and foremost and a venue second. With that, it has some quirks; set up after 3pm (since it’s open to the public until 4pm on Saturdays) and no on site kitchen/dumpsters make it difficult for a super diy-type wedding. We couldn’t have friends and family set up the night before, for example.

Enter Bosc+Brie. Their prices are reasonable ($25/head for simple/italian, $27 for one entre, $30 for two) and include set up, tear down, all linens and glasses, free cake-cutting services (even if you have a friend make your cake like i did), free use of decor items, a coordinator, and multiple tastings. Leah was incredible and patient and on the ball. I changed my mind often and had a lot of DIY elements and she rolled with it all, while gently offering things to think about that I hadn’t considered. She even drove to our B&B the morning of our wedding to pick things up for us...

The food was great! They made a special custom vegan dish and dairy free option for a guest w an allergy at no additional cost. All food costs something, and when you consider the value of the labor, there is no question that they’re worth it. By allowing you to buy your own alcohol, you’ll save thousands. We had short rib, salmon, brussels, and root veggie hash. It was a dream. We are still getting rave reviews, and about the catering specifically.

In sum: Bosc + Brie are attentive and kind, polished without being stuffy and inflexible. In a quiet moment, after giving his speech, and feeling overwhelmed with emotion, my dad walked by a server who gently said: “that was a really nice speech, sir.” It was a small thing, but it put him at ease in that vulnerable moment. Our day was perfect because of them.

Awesome experience!

From the initial planning to picking up the leftover drinks and decorations, Bosc and Brie provided exceptional service. The food was delicious! So many of our wedding guests expressed how much they loved the short ribs, blackberry balsamic chicken and the cheesy potatoes! The bartender and servers were so attentive and pleasant all evening. I would definitely recommend Bosc and Brie for any catering event!

What a great choice!

Don't hesitate to hire!

The Bosc + Brie team and their event coordinator Leah Diehm were among the best wedding professionals that we had hired. We were amazed by the quality of services that we experienced for such a reasonable price! From the moment we first contacted the company through the event itself, Leah was friendly, communicative, and incredibly helpful. We didn't have a wedding planner or a "day-of" coordinator, and Leah fulfilled that role for us. I had emailed her many times with questions and she always responded quickly with great advice and solutions. She was also able to provide so much complimentary decor, which allowed our guest tables and miscellaneous tables (e.g. welcome table, dessert table) to look STUNNING without the need for us to go out and buy a bunch of things we'd never use again. And she ordered all of our event rentals for us. Moreover, we were able to drop off our welcome table decor, guest favors, etc. to her the day before and she set everything up beautifully. When we met with her two weeks before the wedding to discuss all of the details, she took careful notes on everything that we wanted to do, and she even suggested improvements to our timeline based on her experience. On the wedding day, she would discretely check in with us to make sure things were going smoothly and that we were ready to move on to the next activity. To top off how impressed we were by the professionalism of Leah and her team, THE FOOD (arguably the most important part of choosing a caterer) knocked it out of the park!! Everything from our appetizers to our plated dinner was delicious. Even our photographers and DJ raved about it. We had the grilled country half hen, short ribs, garlic mashed potatoes, and roasted asparagus, and the price included both entrees for each of our guests. If you are considering Bosc + Brie for your event, don't think; just book. You're going to have an unforgettable day!

Great food and value

I’ve been to so many weddings where the food was “blah” but thankfull with Bosc + Brie that didn’t happen at my wedding!! All of our food was delicious. Their price is also all inclusive. Their per person price included drinks, food, linens, and even centerpieces! Other caterers quotes me a per person price but then added on prices for every single table cloth and napkin and all the glassware. I loved that Bosc and Brie made the price easy to see and didn’t tack on any extra fees.

Great Value, Great Food

We used Bosc and Brie for our wedding of ~ 50 people. We were very value conscious and their BBQ menu was a perfect fit for us (averaging $15/pp). I am from Texas so my family has high BBQ standards, and I received several complements on the food. They worked closely with my venue (social hall at my synagogue) to ensure conformance to requirements there. I was very pleased and would recommend them highly to others.

Amazing!!!

We interviewed three other catering companies in the area and Bosc & Brie was by far the easiest choice we made during our wedding planning process. We had multiple compliments from guests on the taste, quality, and freshness of the food. We also loved that they had a selection of decor that we were free to use for the wedding and reception (this also helped us cut down on decor cost and use the available money to upgrade our photography package). Leah was quick to respond to all of our questions and was wonderful when it came time to coordinate with our wedding planner as well!

Wonderful experience

Our daughter was married in October 2018 and we had the reception at The Vault. We had a very positive experience working with Bosc and Brie! We tried several others before we picked them and we are glad we did! Leah was a pleasure to work with, always responsive, flexible and kind. The food was delicious and the servers were great. We got lots of compliments on the meal and it was served very attractively. There was a lot of attention to detail. The food is a big part of the wedding reception and we were so pleased with the job done by Bosc and Brie!

Amazing Experience!

We got married October 13, 2018. They were absolutely amazing. The food was excellent. Our guest talked about how great the food was. They were so very accommodating to any changes if we had any!! I cannot thank Sue enough for all she did. The owner Bob, was an excellent gentleman! It was such a pleasure to have a great catering company to help make our day amazing. Bosc & Brie Catering & their event coordinator, Leah Diehm, deserve 5 stars in every single category. Leah maintained impeccable communication throughout the entire wedding planning process (over a year!) and she was extremely helpful, accessible, friendly, & knowledgeable. She is such a professional and experienced wedding planner/coordinator. Additionally, the Bosc & Brie wedding day staff were also incredible! Their service to our guests was constant, cohesive, & professional. They handle all the decorations & coordinate any third party rental deliveries. This service is so nice to have & you can truly trust in their ability to handle the wedding prep. Lastly, the food!!! Simply delicious. We had the short ribs, lemon oregano chicken supreme, potatoes augratin, seasonal medley veggies & we wouldn’t change a thing. I have had cravings for those potatoes since the wedding & our guests keep raving about them in conversation. All in all, we would recommend Bosc & Brie for any & all events!

We were incredibly happy with the help we received from Bosc + Brie for our wedding reception! Leah Diehm was so wonderful to work with; she was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and reliable-- and we are grateful to have been matched with her. Bosc + Brie was very patient with us during tastings and offered flexibility and a variety of options on their menu. The staff was very professional, attentive, and did a great job. We were very satisfied with B&B Catering. Tara kept us at ease throughout the planning process. We chose to have a hybrid wedding between traditional and DIY. Bosc & Brie was more than accommodating when it came to our customization. Food A+ (they made a custom whitefish dish for us), Venue, one-of-a-kind (Grange Audobon center), and service was fantastic. We also loved that they allowed us to stock the bar which saved us $$$, and let us serve an eccentric mix of Columbus Crafts, PBR, and Trader Joe's Quality Whites, Roses, and Reds.

I have to say, working with Bosc & Brie was an absolutely FANTASTIC experience! When we were first looking at caterers, we saw Bosc & Brie's menu and really liked the high quality food options they provided. We had our first tasting and the food was amazing! One thing I do have to point out, we were at the very limit of distance Bosc & Brie would travel (40 miles away) and they were willing to work with us and still brought amazing quality food out to our venue. Throughout the whole process, we had excellent responsiveness from Tara, our coordinator. She consistently responded promptly to emails, phone calls, and even sent a plate of food home for my wife one night when she wasn't able to make a tasting! We were able to customize everything to what we wanted, and Tara worked with us every step of the way. The day of the wedding, we had no worries at all....everything was setup with ease by the Bosc & Brie staff, and the food was AWESOME! My aunt, who is super picky about food, came up to us after dinner and told us, "We are definitely hiring these folks for your grandma's 90th birthday party!" All of the guests commented how fantastic the food and the service was. Honestly, we could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you SO much to Tara and her staff at Bosc & Brie! If you like good food and good service, I HIGHLY recommend choosing Bosc & Brie!

Although Bosc + Brie was the only option for catering the Grange Audubon Center, we couldn't have been happier with the food and service provided for our wedding. It was very easy working with Leah to get exactly what we wanted on our menu, decorations for the venue, and ceremony/reception setup. The entire staff comprises top-notch professionals. Our e-mails were answered extremely quickly and they were very flexible with any changes we made, including the day of! I highly recommend Bosc + Brie for your wedding or other event.

Leah Diehm was our coordinator and she was very helpful getting everything organized. We had to plan our wedding from out of state so speedy email response was very key. We appreciated being able to do our seating chart online as well. Bosc + Brie also accommodated us when we couldn't come to their usual tasting time since again, we were coming from out of state and needed to be able to do our appointments on weekends. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were very professional and quick. The only negative comments I have are small in relation to the overall positive experience. One of my guests wasn't feeling well when the dinner course was being served and they did not let her keep her plate when they were clearing the course. The other thing that bothered me is that I used faux flowers/succulents on my wedding cake and specifically requested (ahead of time at a previous meeting)that these be returned to me at the end of the evening as I could wash and reuse them and they were expensive. They threw them out and had already taken the trash out when I learned of this. In the grand scheme of things, I am able to let this go because overall, as I said, planning was easy and the food was absolutely delicious. A huge bonus is that Bosc + Brie has tons of decorations (votive candles, burlap, wood stands for food, etc) they let me use (no extra charge) that really took the look of the evening to the next level. I made my own centerpieces and these extra details were perfect compliments and saved me from having to buy and transport these lovely touches.

Bosc & Brie catered our daughter's wedding reception and they were fantastic throughout the whole planning process. Patty Perkins was quick to respond to our phone calls, and gave us a lot of good ideas on how to make sure the reception ran smoothly. The whole Bosc & Brie team was fantastic! They set-up our whole reception and the venue looked beautiful! The staff was top-notch and the food was delicious! Our guests are still commenting on how wonderful the food was and how friendly and helpful the staff was throughout the evening. At the end of the reception, the staff worked hard to tear down the tables and get the venue cleaned up. The place was immaculate when we left. I would highly recommend Patty Perkins and her team at Bosc & Brie!

My husband and I got married at the Grange Insurance Audubon Center this past July and had to use Bosc + Brie as our caterer as it is their exclusive caterer. Everything from Bosc + Brie was great! The food was amazing (we went with the lemon oregano chicken and the braised short ribs) and we are STILL getting compliments about how it was the best wedding food anyone has ever had, haha. They had a wide range of appetizers to pick from also. Their staffing was the bomb - the servers were quick and efficient and the bartenders had your drink ready before you even got to the bar. They really made our wedding a special day. If you have the option to use Bosc + Brie for any event please give them a try. We really loved working with them and would do it all over again!

Working with Bosc and Brie was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Cynthia organized absolutely everything for us, provided us with invaluable feedback on our creative ideas for the wedding, and made us feel incredibly special throughout the day. She made the wedding planning process feel effortless, and the wedding day run so unbelievably smoothly it felt like a dream. Cynthia set up a special table for us, with a selection of our appetizers, entrees, and signature cocktails for us to sneak away to during the reception to make sure we got a bite to eat (including setting the table with one of our wedding centerpieces!). We heard from almost every single guest that the food was the best they've ever had at a wedding and the service was truly exceptional, from the bartender to every table server. We would absolutely recommend working with Bosc and Brie (and Cynthia!) again for any event we needed to plan and cannot thank them enough for the joy they brought to wedding planning and the unending professionalism, attention to detail, and truly 5-star level service we received.

I can't say enough good things about Bosc & Brie. We were lucky enough to have Ashley as our coordinator for our wedding reception at Annunciation this summer. She made everything SUCH a breeze. Planning the wedding from 500+ miles away with limited visits back to Columbus can get a bit tricky, but Ashley was always extremely flexible regarding scheduling and responded so quickly to all of our questions. She was so organized going into the event and really helped take away any stress I might have had regarding the reception. As for the day of the event, their staff set up the venue so beautifully and better than I could have ever imagined! We received so many compliments on the food and friendliness of the staff. Another plus is that they have a ton of decor and vases they let you borrow, it was a big plus for us! I would HIGHLY recommend working with Bosc & Brie!!

We had our wedding at the Grange Insurance Audubon center in Columbus and it is a beautiful venue, however I would pick any Bosh + Brie cateirng site again just to work with Ashley! Ashley was AMAZING, she made wedding planning fun and easy-going. When every other venue we looked at said "maybe, but it will cost extra" to our questions she always replied "absolutely". She was willing to go above and beyond to help set up the event (and it was beautiful). She was very flexible with dates and times to meet and was even willing to come in extra just for us. She was there at every food tasting and gave us great ideas and insight on choices (and yes the food is really good!). I cannot say enough about how amazing she was and how she was so much more than we would have even dreamed, by the end she felt more like a friend than wedding coordinator. Thank you Ashley and Bosh + Brie for making our wedding reception the best night of our lives!

Bosc + Brie was an absolute dream for us to work with! Ashley our event coordinator, was top notch. She was an a complete professional, very responsive and she understood what we were looking for and made it happen. She provided quick responses to all of the questions that we had, and she took the time to make sure our wedding dream was accomplished. The food was fantastic, and many of our wedding guests commented that it was the best food they had at a wedding. We loved that there were so many things included in the cost, like linens. Ashley went above and beyond what we knew our catering vendor could do, and she made us feel certain that our reception would be exactly what we wanted it to be and more. She set up little details for us throughout the room including a cookie display and decor for the tables. She coordinated the entire night down to the minute and gave us her idea of how things could flow. The attention to detail was such a relief and really let us enjoy the night. Ashley was even in communication with our DJ as to when certain things needed to be announced! A wonderful wonderful company to work with. We were so pleased with them! After having an issue with our previously chosen caterer, we contacted Bosc + Brie a mere 4 months before our wedding celebrations (EEK!), and we could not have been more pleased. We received a prompt reply from Ashley who scheduled us in for a tasting and after the first bite, we were immediately impressed. We had family flying in from Australia, England, Canada, and state side from the East Coast, West Coast, and the Southern coast, and food quality was a definite concern of ours for the big day. Also worth noting is that neither my husband or myself are 'wedding people' and so when we say we wanted good food, we didn't want good food within just wedding standards, but good food period. We also had vegans and vegetarians attending the wedding, and their chef customized some options so that they would be satisfied just as much as the meat-eaters.

In the end, we had so many people come up to us and state how phenomenal the menu was. I had one guest emphasize how many Italian weddings she'd attended in her lifetime, and this menu was well above the scale of any one of those. We had a small, intimate wedding, and it was extremely budget friendly for the amount of food provided (and the quality). And their team was amazing. I highly recommend Ashely and the team at Bosc + Brie - she was so incredibly helpful, patient, to the point, and personable. My husband has even been recommending them to other frustrated brides + grooms he knows ever since our wedding, haha. But honestly, you will not be disappointed. xoxo

One of the best wedding decisions we made was going with Bosc + Brie as our caterer. Ashley was our contact person and she was amazing! They went above and beyond to make our wedding special. We had our reception at Amelita Mirolo Barn and Bosc + Brie made sure everything was coordinated and set up beautifully. Our guests loved the food! Bosc + Brie was an absolute dream for us to work with! Cynthia, our event coordinator, was amazing. She provided quick responses to all of the questions that I had and would email her sporadically. They were super flexible with our menu and made what we wanted happen even though it wasn't specifically listed out on their menu offerings. The service at both our tasting and wedding was fantastic. We loved that there were so many things included in the cost, like linens. Such a great value! Cynthia even went above and beyond what we knew our catering vendor could do! Marla and her staff were on point! Terrible fits of rain while setting up yet the staff had smiles on their faces, dressed and performed all duties wonderfully! Made everyone comfortable and and happy despite the rain. They were able to start serving early with a simple nod, glasses being poured left and right. Was not bothered throughout the whole wedding with questions or ideas, they knew what to do and left us knowing that we had nothing to worry about. Very competitive pricing. They not only were the best priced compared to those we shopped, the only reason we entertained the idea of using them was a wedding we were attending earlier in the year, they had catered a fantastic meal and the bride and groom raved about them. I just wanted to take a moment to share the wonderful experience that my husband and I had with Marla Ruoff of Bosc & Brie last month for our wedding! She was fantastic throughout the entire process so I HAD to let y'all know. You really can't go wrong with Bosc & Brie and here’s why…
First of all, we all look at pricing when it comes to the bottom line for events, especially for one as big as a wedding. Bosc & Brie offered the most incentive to book with them and STILL ended up being lower than the many caterers we met with in Columbus, Ohio! The package they offer is basically, unbeatable. Not only was the value of what was offered to us with Bosc & Brie a great investment but the quality of service we received by far exceeded our expectations. The food was PHENOMENAL! There wasn’t one person at our wedding who didn’t rave about it. What they raved about just as much as the food and setup was the Bosc & Brie catering staff. They loved them! Marla was our head caterer and she met with us numerous times. She was flexible and hospitable. She kept in contact with us as much as we needed. She not only pulled through with what we asked for, she went above and beyond and assisted in the design, setup and execution of our wedding! She coordinated with our rentals vendor on our behalf and really just made that day extra special. We requested a special dish that they did not have on their menu and they made it for us! We were just so happy with everything and with all that Marla had done, we would absolutely recommend Bosc & Brie for your wedding or future catering events. You really can’t go wrong. There are not enough words in the vernacular to praise the work of Bosc + Brie. Cynthia was amazing from the very start. She not only gave us fantastic menu options but she suggested we look at another venue that was not on our list for the wedding/reception and WOW was it exactly what we wanted. She kept me from going full Bridezilla 24 hours from the wedding when last minute RSVPs came in and her team put together a gorgeous reception area with my very simple table decorations.

And the food, GOODNESS GRACIOUS, the food! Absolutely top notch. It's been two weeks since the wedding and people are still telling us how delicious the food was, with most stating it was the best catered food they've had in Central Ohio. I was not able to eat at the wedding (does any bride??) and she sent us away with two boxes stuffed full of our selections (including the out-of-this-world meatballs from the cocktail hour) so we could eat back at the hotel.

I have absolutely nothing but high praise for this vendor. Do yourself a huge favor and hire them. A huge load will be taken off your shoulders knowing you are in the most capable hands of Cynthia and her crew.

Ashley provided us with AMAZING catering and wedding planning services for our wedding on 7/18/15 at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Columbus, OH. We considered Bosc & Brie for their food menu and pricing, but immediately hired them based upon our first meeting with Ashley. She was easy-going and helped us plan not only the catering but also the centerpieces and decor. She was very accommodating with helping us create an ice cream bar - even making arrangements with Graeter's for delivery. We were able to do multiple food tastings and perfect our menu. The Chef was very honest about which menu items would travel the best and which would not. The food at the wedding reception was perfectly served (plated), hot and tasted like it was fresh out of the oven! We had a few guests choose a vegetarian plate at the last second (during serving) and the waiters quickly switched out plates without any hassle! Overall, we highly recommend Bosc & Brie for catering services. Ashley and Bosc & Brie made the entire experience stress-free!

My now husband and I had the pleasure of working with Ashley for our wedding caterer. Through the process she proved to be much more than just a caterer! Ashley was easy to work with and was always prompt in communication with us. From our first meeting at the Columbus Bride Show, to the last song on our wedding night, Ashley helped with any details we needed to ensure our wedding day was perfect--and it was! Bosc + Brie went above and beyond our expectations of a catering company, and their prices cannot be beat! Ashley had linens for us to use, and even let us borrow pretty vases and you get to provide your own liquor, which for a big drinking group is huge savings! Oh, and the food (and service) was fabulous, our wedding was just last weekend and I can't tell you how many people have told us it was the best food they ever had at a wedding! We did family style which was lovely just like a big dinner party, highly recommend the beef short ribs, yum! My family loved Ashley so much, they want to hire her and B+B for dinner parties at their house! Seriously, wedding planning is stressful enough, go with them for your event (and Ashley) and you will not be disappointed!!! We first met Cynthia when we were looking at the Grange Audubon Center for our wedding. Although we didn't end up choosing the venue, we decided to go with Bosc + Brie to cater our event. It was probably the best decision that we made during the entire process.

Cynthia is amazing. She is quick to respond, extremely detail oriented, and very easy to work with. She met with me several times at the venue prior to the event and offered advice on setup and put me at ease when I was stressed. We didn't have a wedding planner or a day of coordinator, but with the help of Cynthia and her team everything ran smoothly and the setup was amazing. I had a lot of decorations that I wanted to utilize for the wedding. I told Cynthia my vision and how I wanted it to be set up and Cynthia executed flawlessly and made it even better. We did not have the best of luck with weather on our wedding day but the team at Bosc + Brie was able to set up quickly indoors and turned the space around seamlessly.

In addition to great service, the food was equally amazing. The appetizers and our plated dinners were delicious and the guests raved about their food- especially the short rib! We had such a difficult time finalizing our menu only because everything we tried tasted really good, but luckily we were able to have several tastings to help make our decisions. Also, their prices cannot be beat. They're an amazing value considering the quality of food and service.

Bosc & Brie truly helped make our wedding reception at The Walters Commons at St. Charles a night to remember. Working with Ashley for our wedding was not only easy and stress-free but also fun and enjoyable. We toyed with the idea of hiring a wedding planner, however, we quickly realized with Bosc & Brie, an additional wedding planner wasn't needed. Ashley did an amazing job helping us to coordinate all vendors, plan the decor for the tables and provide advice when needed, all while staying within a reasonable budget. They decorated the venue beautifully, taking time to set up all additional decor we had brought along. The food was fantastic. We had the braised short ribs and lemon oregano chicken supreme, and guests were raving about the food for days. Throughout the whole process they were easy to communicate with, accessible, incredibly helpful, accommodating, and very professional. I cannot think of enough words to describe how great Bosc & Brie were for our wedding. The reception could not have been more perfect!

I started planning my wedding with Bosc & Brie under their former brand, and with a former employee who left for a once-in-a-lifetime job for her fiance. Marla came in SEAMLESSLY and didn't miss a beat! We were able to take their standard menu faire and go slightly off menu with our own recipe suggestions. First of all, Ashley Sattler is amazing. She makes you feel special. She is very flexible, helpful, full of ideas and suggestions, and will do everything to make your wedding beautiful. We had talked to two other caterers and my daughter and I agreed, without a doubt, to work with Ashley. She made us feel so comfortable and kept us on track. My daughter had a short engagement so everything we did was at a fast momentum. Ahsley was very professional -- and fun -- through it all.

On the day of the wedding it was a different world to see everything put together and look so beautiful. The staff were all very professional and very efficient. The bragging rights go to the chef for the amazing meal. Everyone I talked to LOVED the food, and the set-up we had with the carving station, potato bar (with the champagne glasses), and the pasta bar were all great choices.

Thank you Ashley and Bosc + Brie for contributing to my daughter's beautiful wedding and for working with us on a limited budget. I believe we got much more than we paid for.

This caterer was fantastic! Ashley was my personal caterer, and she was so much more than that for me. We had a wonderful experience with Bosc + Brie! Ashley Sattler was amazing to work with. She was very helpful from the beginning before we even signed a contract. We were having issues finding a venue on the date we wanted. She sent us information on several places and we ended up using one of them.

The food was delicious! We had a couple tastings to figure out what we wanted. Ashley worked with us to tweak a couple items and she was helpful with suggestions on appetizers.

The wedding day went off really well. The staff were friendly and helpful. The tables looked beautiful. Ashley had a way of keeping us calm during the final stages of planning. It couldn't have all come together without her help and the rest of the crew at Bosc + Brie. I highly recommend them!

We live in Arizona and planned our entire wedding in Ohio in less than 4 months. We found Bosc + Brie online. Every step of the way, we really blown away by the service we received. The level of service we received from Ashley Sattler was incredible! She was responsive, flexible and gave invaluable advice. The food was also fantastic! The bride [me] did not even taste the food before the wedding - and I didn't need to, every bit was delicious and I, as well as my guests, was hugely impressed with the quality and taste of the food. Our ceremony and reception was held at a venue called Eagle Creek in Ostrander and Ashley bent over backwards to make everything convenient as well as make our wedding vision a reality. Where do I start? There are SO many amazing things to be said about the company and most specifically Sarah Selhorst and her all star chef Nick. They a-m-a-z-e-d me from start to end and I am forever grateful for all the help, support and care that Sarah provided me with.

Let's start with the fact that I do not live in Columbus, and Sarah accommodated my family and I for a tasting at an awkward time on a Saturday while I was in town. She was so nice and the food was absolutely amazing. The chef Nick brought us the food himself. He was so knowledgeable and friendly and his food was amazing. He made great suggestions for the menu and provided excellent customer service by offering to customize anything to our taste.

The food was absolutely phenomenal and a great price too. There was a lot of food and everyone commented on how delicious it was. We had the summer salad (greens, strawberries, light dressing) and it was so refreshing. We then had the pork and beef tenderloins and they were so tender and tasty. The mashed potatoes were homemade and the green beens cooked to perfection. Can't stop praising the food.

Sarah was way more than just my caterer. She helped me plan, suggested vendors and helped me on so many other fronts. She came with me to the show room to pick my flatware, glassware, tablecloths etc and everything ended up looking amazing. She has a stock of extra decoration items that are so nice. She was very detailed in her communication, always had great advice and I just knew I could rely on her. She also did my flower centerpieces and they looked absolutely phenomenal. Sarah saved my wedding dress the day before my wedding. My seamstress has completely messed up my bustle and bottom of my dress and Sarah went above and beyond to help me fix it and ensure things went smoothly. She stayed up all night to finish the last details for me. That is dedication and customer service. She is so nice to work with and will help you with anything!

We used Bosc +Brie (known then as Mass Appeal) for our wedding at the Grange Audubon Center 7/19/14. Their prices are very reasonable especially compared to other caterers in the Columbus area. I specifically worked with assistant director of catering Cynthia Savely. She was so extremely helpful and basically acted as my personal wedding planner. She worked with us on everything from personalizing the menu and signature cocktails to table placement and lighting. She was always quick to respond to any questions or changes and really understood what we wanted. She was present for the entire reception making sure everything went smoothly. I am very happy with my experience and would recommend her and Mass Appeal to other brides!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sarah and Mass Appeal! Every positive review you read on this site is true. Plus, I noticed right away that they are also well respected by every other vendor I worked with and they definitely live up to their reputation. While most of the wonderful things I have to say revolve around Sarah and how amazing she is at her job – everyone we dealt with from Mass Appeal did a great job and helped make our day one to remember.

We started working with Sarah a year before our wedding and the entire process was positive from start to finish. She’s quick to reply to messages, knows a million resources and most importantly she sticks to your vision for the wedding and is never pushy. I really enjoyed working with her.

Now it’s a month after my wedding and people are still telling me how beautiful everything was, how friendly and helpful Sarah and her staff were and how delicious the food was. Seriously – the food is fantastic. I also have to mention that we had the ceremony and reception in the same room (at The Vault) which meant that they had to “flip” the room in between. I still can’t believe how quick they pulled it off and how great everything looked.

My sister and I both used this caterer for our weddings and could not have been happier with how the reception meal turned out. Our contact person was incredibly easy to work with and very responsive to all questions. They are also very flexible with how certain food items are prepared and all food, with the exception of bread is gluten free so we did not need to worry about any gluten allergies.

I worked with Sarah Selhorst throughout the wedding planning process and she is absolutely amazing! Not only did she sit down with us and go over everything we needed, she had fantastic suggestions that we had not even thought about. She helped with every aspect of our wedding from the food, tastings, flowers, vendors, decoration, set up, and more. Without her help I would never have managed to have the wedding of my dreams within budget.
I cannot believe that our entire wedding went off flawlessly! It's all due to the planning, diligence, and commitment from Sarah - who was always available to field my questions and last minute bridal requests. On top of that, my guests were blown away by the food. I have had comments from almost everyone that it was the best food that they'd ever had at a wedding. Most say they were the best short ribs they'd EVER eaten! And on top of that, the Grange Audubon Center is the (in my opinion) the coolest venue in town. Such a great experience!

I worked predominately with Cynthia Savely who serves as the Catering Manager for Mass Appeal to provide the service for our reception. Cynthia was wonderful to work with and was always very quick to respond to any questions I had. During the planning stages, Cynthia was very helpful about meeting me at the venue several times to plan out both the timeline and setup of the reception. She also offered great advice and made excellent recommendations for vendors. I found her to be very knowledgeable about the venue and I was able to easily trust that she would make the reception go flawlessly. She also was very accommodating with my schedule the week of the wedding to meet with me several times at the venue to ensure that everything got delivered. Overall, Cynthia was fantastic and calming to work with and really ensured that our reception was planned out well.

At the actual reception, the Mass Appeal catering staff did a wonderful job of making sure everything happened seamlessly. The staff worked quickly and efficiently, but also seemed to stay very behind the scenes. All of their staff were incredibly professional and friendly. I would recommend using Mass Appeal for your future event!

Sarah is AMAZING. Five stars all around. From start to finish, she was accessible, friendly, and beyond helpful. She has exquisite taste and brought our wedding vision to life! Walters Commons was so gorgeous, and she helped make the reception everything we dreamed it would be. I'm going to miss working with her because it was such a positive experience. From helping us arrange transportation to making sure I wasn't without a drink throughout the night (definitely an unexpected perk!), she thought of every single detail and was delightful throughout the entire process.

Furthermore, the food was amazing! We had appetizers and food stations, and the prime rib, pasta, and mashed potato stations were huge hits. Our 200 guests raved about how good everything was- the food, the service, the bartenders... all of it was flawless.

Our day would not have been the same without Mass Appeal. I was an especially picky consumer, and this was an easy decision for us because everything was so wonderful. I can wholeheartedly recommend Mass Appeal. Thank you so much for helping to make our day perfect!

Mass Appeal was our favorite vendor. Cynthia was absolutely amazing to work with. She coordinated more than our catering; she basically coordinated the entire reception. She decorated the tables, put out candy for the candy table, tied bows on vases, and a million other things. She also gave us great advice throughout the planning process. We knew we were in good hands before the wedding, but when we walked into our reception, we were blown away by how perfect everything was. The food was delicious! Everyone kept talking about how good it was, especially the short ribs. She even gave us a meal to take home with us since we didn't have a chance to eat much during the reception. You can't go wrong with Mass Appeal. We were so thankful that Cynthia put so much care into making our wedding perfect.

We were married in January of 2014 at St. Charles Prep in Columbus and it was truly a perfect, magical night for us. Sarah from Mass Appeal was incredible to work with. From the moment I met her, I knew that we were in good hands. I am a control freak that has a difficult time delegating but I never worried with Sarah. In fact, we talked through the process and she helped me remove things from our list that weren't necessary. When I was concerned about finding the right centerpiece vases to fit branches, she supplied them with beautiful river rocks. On top of the great customer service, it says a lot that every vendor we selected had worked with Mass Appeal and specifically named Sarah as an extremely helpful person. And it is true! The day of our wedding was organized, stress free and she helped move us from piece to piece with ZERO snags. The Mass Appeal staff are efficient, friendly and on top of their game. So impressed! The bartenders entertained the guests and several people have complimented me on our choice of caterer. They were so much more than a caterer! I can't seem to find the right words to express my gratitude but the night was perfect. Sarah is organized, creative and incredible to work with.

When my daughter was married at St. Charles (Walter Commons) we used Mass Appeal Catering in Columbus, Ohio. Sarah Selhorst was fabulous to work with, she was very responsive and attentive to our needs and was always available. My daughter and I are not the most creative people in the world, and we pretty much gave Sarah the freedom to take the evening in the direction she wanted--which Sarah welcomed the opportunity to do. She even offered to make floral centerpieces for us which turned out to be the most beautiful arrangements I have seen yet. Sarah even took the coloring of my daughter's dress into consideration when designing our center pieces, picking out the most beautiful flowers that seemed to match perfectly. The wedding went off without a hitch and it was entirely due to the extreme effort put forth by Sarah Selhorst. She was at the venue for most of the day before and all of the day of--she even stayed for the reception to be there in case there was anything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious; we decided to go for a dual entree meal with short ribs (delicious and surprisingly more elegant than one would expect), chicken piccata, mashed potatoes, and green beans. We have received so many compliments on that dinner, as well as the appetizers we served before (I'd suggest the sour kraut balls).

While the food may have been the focal point of Mass Appeal's skill, the evening went so smoothly largely in part to the planning and timing Sarah had helped us arrange. We were so incredibly thrilled with our experience with Mass Appeal, and would advise anyone who wants to have a beautiful, delicious evening without the worry to call Sarah Selhorst. The knowledge she has about the ins and outs about each and every aspect of the wedding makes her title more worthy of a wedding planner than simply a caterer, and our special night wouldn't have been nearly as amazing without her and her staff, which along with the food got rave reviews from our guests!

Mass appeal was a wonderful choice for our wedding reception! The entire staff was incredibly professional, friendly, prompt, and helpful. We had no major hiccups to worry about and everything I did request was taken care of immediately. Our wedding coordinator Cynthia was extremely helpful and insightful during the weeks planning the wedding reception. She would work around our schedules several times to meet with us and answer any questions....we really appreciated this especially since our schedules can be hectic. She was very knowledgeable and gave us many great ideas that we incorporated into our reception. We loved her blue orchid centerpiece idea!!! They were absolutely gorgeous!! The first word that comes to mind when I think about Mass Appeal Catering is AMAZING! They are so easy to work with and so helpful. Sarah was always just a phone call or email away throughout the entire planning process. She was so knowledgeable not only about the catering but also about recommending vendors for other things that I needed.

The food was amazing! We had the spare ribs, lemon oregano chicken, garlic mashed potatoes and green beans and not a single thing was bad. Everyone commented on how great the food was and how helpful and friendly all the staff was.

Our reception was a Walter Commons at St. Charles Preparatory School and the place looked amazing. We brought everything over for the reception on Friday afternoon and did not have to set up a thing. They set up and decorated everything and the place looked absolutely amazing. People constantly complemented on how beautiful everything was. Also, unlike other vendors they do not nickel and dime you for every extra but instead, they include things or let you borrow items that they have free of charge. For example, we used round mirrors with our centerpieces and Sarah let us use the ones they had for free as well as putting candles on the steps without any charge.

They truly go above and beyond and do an amazing job in all aspects. They are so easy to work with and so knowledgeable. They helped to make our wedding day completely perfect!

I worked with Sarah from Mass Appeal for my off location farm house wedding and only have the best to say. From my first email with her until the day of my wedding she always reassured me that everything was going to turn out perfectly and it did. Her crew was awesome that night and she did everything for me the day of. From setting up tables to even putting water in my center pieces (and they provided all the vases) it turned out beautifully. We used Mass Appeal and The Jessing Center for my daughter's wedding reception on June 1, 2013. I initially looked at the Jessing as a venue because it is close to our church where the wedding was held but it turned out to be perfect in so many ways other than just location. The grounds of the Josephinum are beautiful and great for pictures. The Jessing Center itself is lovely-very tasteful and dignified. The staff at Mass Appeal was very easy to work with, especially Sarah. She always responded very promptly when we e-mailed her with questions. My daughter lives out of state and had to fit in numerous vendor meetings on the few occasions that she was able to come back to Columbus. Sarah was always able to meet with us when we asked. She always had good (and money saving) suggestions for us. I was doing the decorations for the wedding and reception myself and Mass Appeal allowed us to use their vases and let me pick them up several days in advance. The food was delicious-we selected the short ribs and the chicken piccata. I heard from several of my guests that this was one of the best wedding meals that they had tasted. The fact that you can bring your own alcohol in is a big money saver. The charge for the facility includes many things that other places would charge extra for (linens, cake cutting, etc). I would very definitely recommend Mass Appeal.

I was married on 04/06/13; Sarah Selhorst from Mass Appeal made our wedding so effortless and seamless!! I couldn’t be more willing to give someone a review, she was extremely helpful and knowledge about her industry. We live in Los Angeles but had our wedding in Columbus, Ohio and she never once made me nervous about planning a wedding cross country! She knew exactly how to make a bride feel at ease. I would recommend Sarah for any catering events, weddings, corporate, etc…. she was truly was not only an exceptional cater but a successful event planner rolled into one! Oh and…everyone loved the food at our wedding especially the short ribs (highly recommended)!! If you are debating between caters in Columbus and Mass Appeal is on your list... Where do I even begin!? Sarah at Mass Appeal was an absolute joy to work with. She is their catering manager (I believe?!) and was charged with helping us design our perfect reception at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral in the Short North. First, those two vendors works very well together. Sarah knows Carol at GO and knows the facility so she is familiar with the layout of the banquet hall. Second, Sarah is extremely prompt in responding to your emails/calls/questions. There were times when I had questions pop into my head at two in the morning and emailed her and she would email me back at six in the morning! She was fabulous! She is very sweet, thoughtful, hard-working and will do anything to make you feel happy and comfortable with your reception. Third, the food was FABULOUS. We opted to have four food stations, a salad station, pasta station (they make it for your guests right in front of them!), potato bar (people LOVED this) and a prime rib carving station (it was delicious and perfectly prepared). I did not expect the food to be so tasty, but we had compliments all night on how truly delicious everything was. Personally, my husband and I loved the prime rib - it was a huge hit. Fourth, the cost of the reception cannot be matched. For such high quality service, I would have expected to pay much, much more. Mass Appeal worked within our budget to create a menu that was worth much more than what we paid! It was a tremendous value. My husband, who paid for a majority of our wedding was thrilled with the prices and the quality of the food and service. Fifth, Sarah worked her butt off to setup our room to be a beautiful reception room. My vision was to have flowers and candles everywhere and she achieved this flawlessly. It was a beautiful, candle-lit, romantic evening thanks to Sarah and her team! We love Mass Appeal and Sarah! Thank you for making our wedding dreams come true!!

I cannot say enough good things about Sarah Selhorst and Mass Appeal.
Given the choice between two caterers our decision came down the fact that I could willingly hand over the reigns to Sarah to ensure our special day went off without a hitch. As a self-admitting control-freak, I was relieved she was completely on page with my vision and kept the evening rolling seamlessly. I even had guests compliment me on what a great job "the lady in the red dress" did :)
We attended two tastings with Mass Appeal and loved all of the food, but I definitely had that lingering thought in the back of my head, "but will it translate to mass production?" Wedding food is generally not memorable unless it was terrible. Well I'm not sure if this is possible, but I think the food was even better at my event! I'm finally writing this review 8 months later and still receiving compliments on our dinner from that night!
The staff was friendly. Pat was our server who introduced herself to us and made sure we had everything we could possibly need.
I would absolutely suggest this caterer to a friend!

My daughter had a large New Year's Eve wedding reception at the St. Charles catered by Mass Appeal. A month later, our guests are still talking about how this was one of the most beautiful and fun weddings they had ever been to! The food was amazing and Sarah and her staff had our guests served in no time which was not easy with the amount of guests. We also appreciated Sarah's ideas in the early planning stages and letting us use their vases, linens, and votive candles. Everything turned out absolutely perfect and more than we ever imagined!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mass Appeal. I used them for my October wedding and was completely satisfied. The service and food were wonderful. Sarah, the Director of Catering and Sales was my savior during the planning process. From the very first email I sent requesting an estimate to the day of the wedding, she was amazing. I had such a hard time visualizing my reception, after a few emails and conversations, she brought everything to life and it was just simply beautiful. I had over 250 guests the price of everything was very reasonable and well within my budget. I did price other caterers and for everything I wanted, the price would have been close to double what Mass Appeal charged. The food was delicious, my guests are still complimenting my husband and I on our menu choices. We had the Pear Salad, Cherry BBQ Pork Chop (my personal favorite), Mashed Potatoes (highly recommend), Roast Beef and Asparagus. All in all, I highly recommend Mass Appeal.

I had my wedding reception at The Jessing Center at the Josephinum which uses Mass Appeal Catering. I had an excellent experience with Sarah and Ashley who made everything easy and come together beautifully. My guests had such a great experience and loved the food so much that I heard about them raving about it from third party people who weren't there. The space is layed out nice, food is great with tons of options, beautiful facility and grounds, lots of decor to use for free and also huge selection of rentals at great prices, excellent communication, affordable, and the list goes on! Ashley and Sarah are like your own personnal wedding coordinators and they really make everything so easy. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Where to begin?! I guess I will start with Ashley who I was lucky enough to have as our onsite coordinator. Ashley is AMAZING! As an out of town bride & someone that does not trust many people, I had a lot on my plate & was expecting to have to do everything for the wedding myself. Luckily, the first moment I met Ashley I trusted her. She was able to take over & make my dream wedding become a reality! Ashley is personable, fun, calm & highly attentive. She truly became part of the family & after speaking regularly for 8 months, I was sad to say goodbye on our wedding day. My wedding couldn't have been my dream wedding without Ashley.
Food- WOW. I have NEVER had so many compliments on food! We did the stations options so it was unique, delicious & cost effective. I couldn't have asked for better food.
Service. I loved our servers! They were courteous, quick & fun to be around. Towards the end of the night, as they were clearing off the tables, I saw a couple of the servers dancing as they worked. I LOVED IT! It made me feel like they wanted to be there & were having fun. No one wants a stick-in-the-mud group at their wedding!
Misc.- One thing I found AMAZING was that Mass Appeal offers on-site coordinators for free. I didn't find other caterers offering this. Weddings are overwhelming so having someone who knows what they're doing is very helpful. Also, Mass Appeal has many centerpieces to use which allowed me to do the centerpiece I had envisioned for next to nothing! Lastly, they offer many different colored linens for free! This is virtually unheard of & was a huge plus.
Overall? I have to say this was by the best decision I made. Mass Appeal had the most cost effective caterer I found. They cost nearly $3,000 less than my second choice & had much better food! I have recommended Mass Appeal to all of my friends who are getting married & will continue to do so. I don't know when, but I know we will use Ashley and Mass Appeal again...maybe our baby shower!

My wife, Jan, and I would like to take this opportunity to let you how much we enjoyed working with Sarah Selhorst and Mass Appeal Dinning Services, and what a wonderful job Sarah and her staff did with catering our daughter, Erica’s wedding on October 6th, 2012. With only one daughter, this process was totally new for us.

Erica and her fiancé, Sean, started looking into catering services over a year ago. When she talked to Sarah about Mass Appeal Dinning Services, Sarah was very helpful and informative with telling Erica what services she provided and Erica was very impressed with Sarah and booked her immediately for the next year’s wedding!

As the year progressed and Jan and I began making arrangements for the details, we met with Sarah at the Jessing at the Josephinum to review details of the wedding. I was very pleased that Sarah allowed us to buy our own alcohol (which was only beer and wine) and supply the alcohol at the wedding reception.

The day of the wedding, Sarah and her staff were at the Bryce Eck Center that we had reserved for the reception early in the morning setting up the tables and the reception hall. The tables, chairs, and entire wedding reception hall looked absolutely beautiful. The dinner buffet was just awesome! I had several compliments on the dinner and how everything was served and handled. Sarah and her staff truly did an outstanding job that night.

Our overall experience working with Sarah and her staff was truly a wonderful experience! Everyone did an outstanding and awesome job with handling the wedding reception for our daughter, Erica. I would definitely recommend Mass Appeal Dinning Services for any catering function you may have. Thank you, Sarah and your staff for doing such a great job!!!

As the mother of the bride for the first time and it being an out of town wedding for me, I was unsure on how all this would come together. Sarah made it so simple. She took our vision and Walters Commons was transformed it into a beautiful venue. The colors used were navy, bright orange and shocking pink. Sarah's experience with the venue and linens made the colors come alive. It was gorgeous.

The food we chose was outstanding. People raved about the crab dip appetizer and the cheese and fruit were fresh and beautifully displayed. The guests loved the beef ribs and the horseradish mashed potatoes. The best thing about the food was that it was hot, even though we were running about 20 minutes behind due to the toasts.

Sarah's staff is so professional and were so helpful! Just lighting the 300 plus candles and placing the favors were amazing tasks....yet they got it done! They were courteous to our guests and a major help getting things cleaned up and ready to go at the end of the reception.

Sarah is an outstanding professional and an excellent communicator. I had many questions as the day approached and she handled every detail. She uses email, text and phone calls for the times I just needed to hear and ask extension questions from the answers. She was always quick to respond and to put my fear to rest. She provided her professional opinion, when asked, and helped us with several decisions we got stuck on.

The value for what we received was excellent. You will not go wrong with her staff, the food and the support she lends in putting on a wedding.

I am sure this feedback is too long, but I believe the quality in the details she provided deserved this long recommendation..

This was my only mother of the bride gig, but I must say, it was an outstanding experience thanks to Sarah's attention to detail and her outstanding staff.

I would recommend Mass Appeal to anyone planning a wedding in Columbus! You will not be disappointed.

Mass Appeal is amazing! From the very beginning Sarah was professional and personable. She guided us through many aspects of planning a reception! Her calm nature helped calm me down when I was stressed out about the nonsense that comes along with planning a wedding. When it came closer to our wedding date we attended a group tasting and we were scared because although the food we tasted was delicious, it wasn’t what we had in mind for the dinner we wanted to serve. We contacted Sarah and she set up a private tasting for us and allowed us to choose items off the menu that we wanted to serve at our wedding. At the private food tasting the head chef came out and explained the food items we tasted. During the tasting Sarah went over every aspect of the reception from cocktail hour to the last song that would be played that evening.
Our reception was at the Grange Insurance Audubon Center. When we walked into the Audubon Center after our ceremony at a nearby church it took my breath away! Sarah and her assistant Cynthia snuck inside my head and got my vision on how I wanted the reception to look! It was beyond my expectations! Everything was so perfect! When it came to dinner everyone was raving about how wonderful the food was! My sister (maid of honor) is a vegetarian and they provided a fish dinner for her and she said that it was probably one of the best meals she had in a long time. A lot of guests were pleased with how quick the wait staff was with refilling drinks and removing plates. Many enjoyed the fact that they felt like a priority and they thoroughly enjoyed the service the staff provided.
I highly recommend Mass Appeal Dining. They take care of you from the very beginning and make sure that your day is everything you wanted it to be! Sarah was a God send the entire time, especially the week leading up to the wedding. She is amazing and her staff is wonderful!

We could not be happier with our wedding experience with Sarah and Mass Appeal. Sarah was incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process. She patiently answered the many questions from me and my family, provided fantastic recommendations for other vendors, and was there making sure everything went smoothly on the actual wedding day. We have received multiple compliments from our wedding guests on how great the food tasted. Guests were also impressed with the fantastic service provided by the Mass Appeal staff. Sarah made sure the day was what we wanted and helped with some last minute details that we had forgotten. She even packed us meals to take home, since we were too wrapped up in the fun and excitement to eat. I would strongly recommend Mass Appeal and Sarah Selhorst.

Sarah and her crew are the most amazing people to work with! She was very easy to work with and answered every question we had. Her staff was clean cut, presentable and all had a great attitude. I can't tell you how many weddings I've been to where the staff is rude but Sarah's crew was awesome; so friendly and easy going! In addition to the food we rented linens, a tent, china, flatware, etc and everything went smoothly. We had a horrible storm hit the night before the wedding and the power was out for days all over the city; this didn't affect the food or service at all. I couldn't believe how well everything came together. My mom later told me some of my picture frames had broken and Sarah spent the time gluing them all back together! She is such a sweetheart and I really enjoyed working with her. I've really never met anyone like her before; she really has her stuff together. She isn't razzled like most caterers and she made me feel like my wedding was a real priority to her, not just a paycheck. Even with a storm knocking the power out Sarah made sure everything was executed as planned. Sarah, if you read this, I cannot thank you enough for all you did for us; we were so fortunate to find you. Do yourself a favor and book Mass Appeal, you can't go wrong!

Sarah Selhorst and her staff at Mass Appeal are more than amazing. Our daughter's wedding was on 9/1/12 and the reception was at The Grange Insurance Audubon Center. Sarah listened to everything Katie (our daughter/the bride) wanted. It took my breath away when we walked into the Audubon Center. Sarah/Mass Appeal totally understood what Katie and Josh wanted. We had family and friends come up to us during the reception saying that everything was so beautiful, that they were so happy to be there and that they couldn't get over how the ambiance at the reception was something they hadn't experienced before! It was absolutely perfect. Keep in mind, this is the first wedding we've gone through so we didn't know what to expect. Sarah Selhorst "got" what Katie and Josh wanted and presented this very special day in the best of all ways. We would absolutely recommend Sarah Selhorst/Mass Appeal for your wedding reception or any special occasion. Oh, and by the way, just to let you know about Sarah's exceptional service, Josh said that the bridal table was served their dinner but, he and Katie had to leave the table to greet someone. When they got back to the table, their dinner plates were gone! Within not even a minute, Sarah brought their plates back with fresh/hot food! She observed that they had to step away from the table and didn't want them to dine on cold food. Pretty amazing!!!

We had our wedding at Walters Commons and Mass Appeal provided the catering. Sarah Selhorst was awesome in helping not only to set up the event, but in making sure it went off perfectly. We had countless compliments on the food and the venue. Sarah coordinated everything with the band, cake lady, and even helped with a sound guy from St Charles. I would not hesitate to recommend Sarah, Mass Appeal, and Walters Commons!

The Jessing Center (Mass Appeal) was a hidden secret, that I'm glad i found. I looked for hours and hours and days and days to find the perfect venue for me. Once I stepped in the Jessing Center, I knew I found it. Its also important to trust and know you will get along with the planner. I can't even begin to explain how awesome Ashley from Mass Appeal is...She is patient..she listens to what you want..and she was always available whenever I needed her. She also has alot of great ideas to add!!! The food was great...I recieved so many compliments. We had a roast beef carving station and a martini mashed potato bar, I would totally recommend, as well as many different appetizers. The venue is absolutely beautiful and doesn't need that many decorations, even though I decided to add a few extra touches. It's still beautiful without. It was bring your own alcohol, which saved us a ton of money. My wedding was perfect..thanks to the help of Mass Appeal, Ashley, and The Jessing Center!

Sarah! Wow, I do not know where to begin. A dream! Highly professional, easy to work with, reliable, excellent follow through, and a great staff. We hired Mass Appeal to cater our daughters wedding. She went above and beyond what I ever would have expect. She did so many things for us that all other caters charged for. She really cares about making your day as easy as possible, without nickel and diming you to death. She assisted with every little detail, to even to help reglue decorations that became sholved in transport. Her staff was energetic thru the end of the night, even assisting us in loading our cars after most of them had been on their feet for 12 hours. I wish I had more room ro add how she glided with the grace of a ballerina, with watching every detail. A true asste tp every bride and their families. I would highly recommend over and over again. Thank you Sarah and special thanks to your lovely staff!

There is not much I can say about Mass Appeal and Sarah that hasn't already been said. I had a wonderful experience with Sarah. She had great ideas and went above and beyond to make our day wonderful. The food was delicious! I had so many comments about how wonderful the food and service was. Many people commented that the servers and the bartenders were so very nice and friendly too. I would highly recommend the beef short ribs - everyone loved them! Loved this vendor!!!

I would absolutely recommend Mass Appeal and the Jessing Center to anyone! We had so many compliments on the food and the professionalism of everyone that was working at our reception. Ashley, our event coordinator, recommended stations for food and it turned out to be the perfect choice! She went out of her way to make sure our wedding was extra special. We had several last minute preparation items that still needed to be completed the morning of our wedding. Ashley gladly completed every one of them and when I walked in to our reception, it looked amazing. She really pulled it all together. The entire staff was wonderful to work with.

My experience with Mass Appeal was amazing. I had no idea my wedding reception could possibly have looked THAT beautiful. I'll never forget seeing my (new) husband's jaw literally drop when he saw the way Sarah set up our reception. Mass Appeal is the best vendor you can go to.

It's cheesy to write such a glowing review. But dealing with Mass Appeal was amazing. Sarah is so empathetic--and so good at her job. When I was stressed about the wedding, she helped me realize that everything was going to be okay. I can't tell you how many times my mom said "Thank God for Sarah..." The food at the reception was excellent, and Mass Appeal goes above and beyond the call of duty.

Mass Appeal did a fantastic job catering and running our reception. Ashley was very attentive to all my needs and concerns and made the day so enjoyable and stress free. The food was very delicious which had all our guest eating seconds and commenting it was the best wedding food they have had. The staff was great as well as we had no problems or concerns. Mass Appeal did a great job on the day of! They had a lower than average price and a much higher than average performance. The crew was always working and ensuring that everything was running smoothly without being overbearing. The guests had several positive things to say about the food. Sarah is one of the most enjoyable and amazing people I have met. She was willing to go above and beyond to make our day special. Not only does she cater, she sets the reception venue up (even set up my center pieces), she also made our seating chart and table numbers. She did an amazing job. Sarah with Mass Appeal was so great to work with throughout our wedding planning, from our initial menu tasting, to working out the many details along the way, to ensuring a smooth reception the day of. Our guests loved the food (we got the short ribs and chicken champagne) and to this day we are still getting comments on how delicious it was! Mass Appeal catered our reception at The Vault in Columbus on May 5th, 2012. They did a great job at the reception and Sarah was amazing throughout the entire process! They had a variety of foods for us to try at the tasting. We wanted to do something a little different than the traditional reception dinner foods, so we chose their short ribs and ravioli as our entree,s and we received compliments all night about the food. We had about 150 people at our reception, and everything tasted just like it did at our tasting! In addition to the food being great, Sarah did an incredible job helping to plan and set up the reception. She was very easy to get in touch with, flexible with meeting times, and had a ton of ideas for how we could decorate. She did a great job setting up the reception venue the day before the wedding as well. It really felt like we got both a caterer and a wedding planner with Mass Appeal!

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Mass Appeal for our April 2012 wedding. Mass Appeal provides a variety of delicious but affordable menu options for all types of budgets and a top notch, professional staff who are kind, helpful and attentive to every guest’s need. We worked primarily with Sarah, Director of Catering and Sales who was an absolute pleasure to get to know and went above and beyond to ensure our special day was perfect. Leading up to the wedding, Sarah was easy to meet with and quick to respond to my emails. She made suggestions and gave advice on all things wedding, making my planning process a breeze. On the day of, Sarah acted as the main point of contact to coordinate between the DJ, Florist, Cake Lady and Photographer, which made our day run completely smooth—we were able to relax and thoroughly enjoy each minute of the day! As an extra bonus, at no extra charge, Sarah lit tiny tea light candles and placed them all across the steps of the Walters Commons space to create a gorgeous romantic feel. At one point, Sarah even brought me a fresh meal because she was afraid mine had gotten cold while talking with guests between bites! She also packaged up extra food for my husband and I to enjoy back at the hotel. Sarah and her team even provided cake baggies and wrapped up extra cake for guests to take home as a late night snack. At the end of the night, Sarah and her team helped my family load the gifts and flowers into the cars. We, along with our families, feel so fortunate that we had the opportunity to work with Mass Appeal. Guests continue to tell us how wonderful of a time they had at our wedding, how delicious the food was, and how attentive the staff members were! I highly recommend Sarah and the Mass Appeal team. Thank you for making our special day absolutely perfect!!

I absolutely loved Mass Appeal! We decided to go with the stations and we received compliments on the food from almost everyone. The pasta station was so cool because you got to pick the pasta, sauce and meats you wanted and then they cooked it right in front of you. Sarah was an absolute joy to work with and I couldn't have asked for a better cater who was so responsive and helped to take the stress away from me. Also as an added bonus at no extra charge, was the fact that I was able to use their center pieces (tealight candles, round table mirrors, and little crystal jewels) which helped to save me money. I thought the night went absolutely smooth and Sarah even packed us a "to-go" bag for us to eat after the wedding which totally saved us (no matter how many people tell you to make sure you eat at the wedding, there is always someone constantly talking to you and you really have no time to eat). I would recommend Mass Appeal to anyone!

Sarah at Mass Appeal was my wedding planning guardian angel. She was super friendly, made us feel like our day was truly special, she was very responsive (within a day or two), even months before our wedding and even during busy/peak wedding season for her. She has a great personality, tons of creativity and is willing to work with you on whatever you want to do with your wedding! Don't forget to ask her about her wonderful stash of decorating supplies (most free for you to borrow!) and she even met with me in the middle of winter to brain-storm linen and centerpiece ideas. She let us attend 3 tastings so we could try several different things from their menu and they were all fantastic. Her and her staff came the week of and the day before the wedding to help with set-up and arrangements, and had such good relationships with the other vendors already, everything went so smoothly, I didn't hear a peep or have any issues the day of my wedding. They were even willing to prepare a favorite personal recipe (gluten-free quinoa stuffed peppers), for myself and other friends/family who had gluten issues and were so helpful in planning food and bar order quantities for a couple on a budget. I can not say enough wonderful things about Sarah and Mass Appeal. Definitely the best bang for your buck. Our wedding guests are still raving about how great the food was, and my wedding wouldn't have been the same without them!
