My husband and I are Maryville College grads and we knew long before we were engaged that our wedding would be on campus. I would absolutely have my wedding at MC again and again because of my emotional tie to the school. However, they didn't make it super easy. The coordinator is not very responsive but is open to any ideas. We were able to present ideas for our ceremony and it was fine and good. HOWEVER, when we got down to the weekend and knew it would be raining, it was very difficult to work out a solution and I ended up never hearing back from the coordinator. We worked out a tent with the Physical Plant staff (they are wonderful) and it was fine, but not good for a panicking bride.
