Choosing the Hyatt for our wedding reception was the best decision we made. Shawn, Suné, and the entire Hyatt Regency team went above and beyond to ensure everything was seamless and exactly what we envisioned. Any time I had questions or concerns, they made time to call me, meet with me, and walk through every possibility. We met on several occasions, as well as a food and drink tasting (all included!), so you definitely get the full princess treatment. Despite the stress leading up to the day, we didn’t have a single worry once it arrived, and I know every penny went into making everything perfect. Nearly a year later, our friends and family still talk about what an incredible time they had—and the food and drinks were truly exceptional, even better than restaurant quality. We are so grateful to the entire team and would choose the Hyatt again without hesitation.

Would definitely recommend this venue. Easy to work with and willing to be flexible to get what we wanted from the venue.

As a local wedding planner, I’ve had the pleasure of planning many weddings at the Hyatt in Coralville, and they consistently deliver on everything they promise. The events team makes planning feel simple and stress-free—they are organized, responsive, and truly invested in each couple’s experience. We plan a lot of events, and we genuinely love the gorgeous, versatile spaces, but what really stands out is their amazing team of event professionals who create joyful, seamless experiences from start to finish. The food is always delicious, guests appreciate the ample parking, and the hotel rooms are a huge plus for wedding weekends. We love working with them and confidently recommend the Hyatt to couples looking for a venue! P.S. The Hyatt team doesn't know we are writing this review! We were blown away by how amazing our wedding day was with the Hyatt. We had a lot of out of town guests and it was so convenient to have our ceremony and reception all in one spot. The day was perfect and the staff went above and beyond to make our day so special. We would recommend the Hyatt every time.

We couldn't be happier with our wedding at the Hyatt Regency Coralville! The staff was extremely attentive, detail oriented and organized. McKayla and Bri were amazing to work with. Our day was perfect and all we could have asked for. 10/10 recommend!

Bri with The Hyatt Regency in Coralville was so great to work with. She answered all of my questions and helped me think through our options for our wedding hotel room block. This hotel allowed me to track how many guests booked in our room block and keep in touch with the hotel about how many rooms of which type we needed. I would highly recommend working with the Hyatt for room blocks. They were flexible with our needs, offered a shuttle service if desired & were very accommodating during our tour.

We only used them for room blocking, but they were very accommodating for our family's accessibility needs and they even left us a congratulatory note in our room! They were very helpful through the whole process and we enjoyed the bar at the end of the night.

We worked with McKayla at Hyatt and from initial planning phases to the big day, they were so responsive and helpful! Our guests were raving about the food and how on top of everything the banquet staff was throughout the reception. They helped us create the perfect night! Would highly recommend!

I had my wedding here and can't say how much I appreciate the staff! Mckayla was wonderful working with us to get everything set up and although she was sick on our day she left us in very capable hands. Courtney was wedding coordinator during the day and had everything running smoothly!! Weather was shaky and I really wanted to be married out on the terrace. Courtney personally went out after a break in the mini sprinkling to dry off all the chairs for my guests to sit in. I could not have asked for more, but they gave me more. Linda, a custodian cleaning around the hotel, not only came to give me water before my ceremony, but stopped by my mom and gave her encouraging words and offering to get her anything she needed. It warmed my mom's heart and gave her the courage to take on the day with me.
Candise was our management for the reception and had the room beautifully put together. Staff was on pare in her hands, the bartenders made my guests laugh and have fun, dinning staff was quick and well organized serving and cleaning up. I could have never chosen the best place to have my wedding! Thank you all so much Hyatt Staff!!! You were all amazing I made the happiest day of me and my husband's the smoothest and most enjoyable! We will be back just to enjoy your hospitality as guests. Thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU!!!!

Amazing venue-very responsive-easy to work with and very flexible with scheduling-wedding planner was definitely a life saver!

We love working with the Marriott for our fundraiser. They provide excellent sales and catering service. Their servers the night of the event are attentive and good at what they do. They truly care about your event and want you to be successful. I would highly recommend anyone working with the Marriott for any event.

The Marriott in Coralville is a beautiful hotel with a beautiful setting. We used their catering services and the food was absolutely delicious! We also used them as our hotel for our out of town guests, our morning after the wedding brunch, and my bridal shower. Everyone was really happy with all of the services.

We were very happy with our wedding ceremony and reception. The staff was wonderful and our wedding planner, Dani, was great to work with!

The Coralville Marriott Hotel and Convention Center was the perfect venue for our Reception. The food was very impressive and so were the drinks. The staff at this Marriott are ready and willing to help make everything the exact way the bride dreams it to be! Go check them out- have a taste testing. It is beautiful.

They made the wedding day go very smoothly! They were extremely helpful in the entire planning process and I strongly recommend using them!

Our wedding day was made by the event planning department at The Coralville Marriott and Conference Center. They did off site catering for our wedding as well as hosted our morning after brunch. Everything was absolutely stunning and they did a great job of accommodating all of our wishes. It was honestly one of the best decisions that we made because we had one person assigned to us that coordinated our set up, linens, catering, bar, hotel stay, morning after brunch, etc. The list goes on and on but I am not exaggerating when I say that everything was perfect about our special day because of the Coralville Marriott team!

They were great to work with, great food, excellent professionalism and very flexible when the guests were eating dinner. Highly recommend the wedding planner, she was very nice.

The staff at the Marriott were great to work with! I appreciate their attention to detail and assistance as we got closer to the wedding. We had our wedding reception in one of the ballrooms and had a great time. We all enjoyed working with Shannon and Natasha - thank you for your hard work!

There was a wedding planner who worked out all of the little details for us included in the price so I saved money on hiring one. Flexible enough to really make our wedding and reception match the look and feel we were going for.

Had a little trouble booking the date I wanted and there were a few communication problems but all said and done it was a beautiful day and our wedding coordinator was fabulous

They are helpful and willing to work with you with a package that fits your wants/needs. Need some improvement on communication between all staff. Entire cakes were not put out as well as many of out guests did not get the block of rooms pricing as promised.
