  Christmas wedding

  I don't have enough great things to say about Maria! She was amazing. She is a photographer you will never forget. She captures the moments even you don't remember. She's professional, fun, and makes taking pictures enjoyable. She puts you to ease and lets you enjoy your wedding while taking the best picutres!

  An absolute dream to work with!

  Maria Linz is an incredible photographer. She photographed us for our engagement photos in 2019, our mini ceremony during COVID in 9/2020, then again when we did the full reception in 9/2021. She is responsive, upbeat and incredibly personable. She makes you feel completely at ease when photographing you, and your true personality shines through. Her photos capture emotion and she finds a way to capture the small, subtle details that others may miss. Maria is a true talent and we cannot wait to hire her again in the future for family photoshoots.

  My favorite photographer!

  Everyone wants to get great coverage while consistently looking their best on their wedding day. Having a large guest list to cater to and such an eventful night packed into such a short amount of time, we knew we were going to need someone who could work both efficiently and effectively. Maria comes with the skill, experience, and intuition everyone hopes for in their photographer.
  Maria was able to capture every meaningful and emotional moment of our big day, plus more than we could have hoped for. She brought professional and capable assistants to get all the coverage we wanted. They got tons of great shots of each of us getting ready while miles apart, captured multiple great angles of the ceremony, and created stunning outdoor displays with their use of sunset and backdrops.
  For our engagement photo session Maria was able to give us multiple location options, providing a variety of visual themes and aesthetics. She works quickly and effectively, directing the two of us politely and efficiently to create visual magic. Working with her was a both a joy and a phenomenal source of professional expertise.

  Absolutely the best.

  Maria Linz and her second, Marisa, were absolutely incredible on our wedding day and we couldn't be happier with our photos!! Maria also did our Engagement photos and those too were fabulous. Maria works wonders with large groups and got great shots of family and wedding party wall eyes open (including the little ones!)! Our B&G portraits are also absolutely breathtaking capturing the energy of love in every shot. I really don't think there was a single photo I didn't like! Advice: be sure to literally write out all the shots you want. When we got our photos back, there were a few specific shots missed but it wasn't Maria's fault, it was because I didn't write them down! Write it down. She's follows the list. I will be using Maria for all future photographer needs from maternity to family photos to Christmas photos.

  Maria was the Best!

  My Husband Brian and I loved working with Maria. Own wedding photos came out flawless and she is such a dream to work with. She understood what we were looking for and totally delivered. I would use her again in a heartbeat and recommend her to anyone. I truly can not stop smiling when I look at our wedding photos. We loved working with her and she is such an awesome person.

  Maria is amazing! She is talented and fun to work with. My husband and I met with her about a year before the wedding at her house and instantly knew she was the right person to have with us on our special day. She listens to you and has so much experience that she knew exactly what logistically would and wouldn’t work with our vision. After sharing with her the date of our wedding, she immediately looked up the sunset time and helped me plan the day accordingly.
  
  Maria is a passionate photographer and we are thrilled with the images she captured of us and our friends and family. I was reluctant to have an engagement shoot, but she insisted and said it would be a great way for her to get to know us and how we look at each other. I am so glad we did this—the photographs are beautiful and she knew all the best spots in Fells Point!!
  
  Maria and Helen are a great team. You can tell that they have years of experience working together and were able to capture our 250+ wedding! They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and have the warmest personalities that by the end of the wedding, they felt like family! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Maria and Helen. I highly recommend Maria Linz Photography!!!!!

  Maria was an absolute dream to work with! She made taking pictures so FUN! She was very professional and easy to work with. She was able to organize our huge family efficiently so that we were able to get to the party ASAP! All of the pictures came out beautifully as well. She was organized in communicating with us throughout the whole process. We cannot say enough good things about her!!!!

  When I first met Maria, I knew I wanted her to be our photographer. She was extremely knowledgeable and had this wonderful contagious personality, which really helped when trying to herd my husband’s huge family in for a photo or just to calm the nerves of the first look. She was very responsive and was quick to turn around previews and photos after our wedding. Maria and Helen were so enjoyable to work with and were so incredibly unobtrusive that you barely knew they were there but that allowed them to capture some really special moments like (what I thought) was alone time with my dad before we walked down the aisle or just a certain glance from my husband. Both had a vision, which really came to life when I got the photos back. Everyone has been really impressed with the coverage of the day and the beautiful finish to the shots. I also really liked that they took photos of our guests during the reception, which were great to send to them. Also coming from a financial background, I really like the billing/system that Maria uses. Everything is electronic which was super convenient. Overall, this was definitely worth the investment as I will be enjoying these photos for years to come!

  We absolutely loved working with Maria Linz! She is so much fun and instantly put us at ease. Both Maria and Helen were great to work with in the planning and actual day of picture taking! Helen was superb at carrolling our rowdy groomsmen and helping them to have fun while taking pictures! I've been in a few weddings where taking pictures was my least favorite part, but these two made it one of the most fun parts of our day spent with our best friends! Our pictures are stunning! I am so glad that Maria was able to photograph our big day!

  Maria was amazing to work with and our pictures are better than I could have ever imagined. Multiple wedding guests even commented to me on how much they loved our photographer and how fun she was. Everyone in our family really enjoyed the time spent with her taking family pictures. I do not have enough good things to say about her.

  We had a blast working with Maria and Helen, from our initial meeting through the end of the reception. Maria provided us with a comprehensive questionnaire that helped her and Helen get to know us a little bit and to give them a list of shots that we really wanted. We put Helen under some pressure with our tight time frame, but she kept us focused and got through the checklist as quickly as she could so that we could enjoy being with our friends and family at the reception. The photos took a while to be edited, but they were beautiful and well worth the wait!!

  Awesome job on our wedding photography!! We had one photographer, Helen, and she did a fabulous job making sure we got all the shots we wanted and more and she kept it all rolling smoothly. She also did our engagement pictures which turned out great as well. I would highly recommend using Maria Linz Photography as my husband and I were extremely satisfied with their work.

  Working with Maria was an absolute pleasure! When we got engaged we contacted several photographers, some based off of friends recommendations and some we found through online research. I found Maria online and after talking with her I knew she would be the perfect photographer for us even though I had never met her in person! Maria makes you feel like you've known her for years - she understands how important her job is in capturing the most important day of your life and does everything she can to make your wedding day perfect. Maria's work speaks for itself, every photo she took came out beautifully from the small details to the most important moments that we will cherish forever. Maria was more than a photographer at our wedding, she helped me put my veil in, helped with my dress bussel, and so much more. Helen was absolutely amazing as well! She met the groom and groomsmen at the church and helped them put their boutonnieres on. She also managed to direct and organize a rowdy group of 10 men for pictures - which was certainly an accomplishment. Both Maria and Helen did their best to manage our time outside on a hot July day while making sure we got the important must have photos we discussed before the wedding.
  
  We are so happy we chose Maria Linz Photography for our wedding day and would recommend Maria and Helen without pause to our closest friends/family or anyone searching for a wedding photographer!

  Maria and Helen go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure they get the perfect shot. Not only are they the BEST at what they do, but they also are both so friendly and fun to work with! Our wedding photos turned out better than I could have ever dreamed, and it is thanks to them.

  Our families and wedding party all loved working with Maria and Helen. I knew they did amazing work because they photographed my brother's wedding, but until my wedding I had no idea just how much work they do and how amazing they are. I've seen it in other reviews of them and it's 100% true - they function both as photographers and as wedding planners/experts. They jumped at the chance to help with anything - from pinning on boutonnieres to helping open a sewn shut button hole on my dress - and they kept us on schedule and on track all day. They are a joy to work with - both of them are so friendly and outgoing and make everyone feel at ease. They really just fit into the flow of the entire day and celebrate right along with you. We haven't gotten our wedding pictures back yet but I know they are going to be amazing - we absolutely loved our engagement pictures so I have no doubt we will love our wedding pictures and cherish them forever. You cannot go wrong booking either or both of these amazing women!

  Helen was so helpful throughout the whole day for my wedding, she really helped everything go smoothly and made me feel at ease. The pictures turned out great, and I am very happy with my photo book. Working with Maria and Helen was a great experience!

  There is so much I can say about Maria Linz Photography, but the most important thing is that if you want phenomenal wedding photos and amazing photographers to share in your day, pick this one!! Maria is absolutely amazing, funny, kind, and will take the time to listen to your vision and make it happen. She's not shy to throw her ideas and thoughts into the mix, which we found to be so helpful and amazing since you just can't think of everything no matter how hard you try! She makes her clients feel like they are number one priority and that they are the only one's she has to work with. The team of photographers she has surrounding her are equally fantastic and we trusted them wholeheartedly, and were not disappointed with the outcome. Helen, our primary shooter, was so helpful the day of the wedding, even in the reception where she was part coordinator as she reminded me/brought my attention back to things we wanted to do (like dances, etc) before it got too late. I could go on for hours about how fabulous Maria is, but I suggest you simply give her a call and set up a meeting. We love being a part of the Maria Linz Photography family!!

  Awesome vendor to work with from start to finish! From our engagement photos to the weddings pics, everything turned out perfect! Pictures came back in a timely manner and Maria and Helen were easy to get in touch with throughout the whole process.   After our experience, I feel like I can say that Maria and Helen are pretty much the best wedding photographers you can ask for. Not only did we end up with gorgeous photos that looked like they were out of a wedding magazine, but they are also friendly, knowledgable and great to work with. As expected for any bride, I was pretty nervous the whole day about getting people to the right place and making sure all the photos we wanted were taken. Maria and Helen made a point of checking each of my desired photos off the list and were great at arranging our large family photos in no time at all. They certainly know how to direct a crowd. I was so glad to have Maria's calm and enthusiastic personality with us on our wedding day. She was there to help whether it was a photo-related or other miscellaneous wedding task. P.S. Maria did all of this fabulous work while 8 months pregnant! Everyone commented on how impressed they were that she had so much energy!

  Working with Maria was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. She is incredibly talented, professional, and fun! The day of the wedding, Maria and Jennifer blew us away-they were relaxed but attentive and thorough. Our entire family commented on how fun it was to take photos with them. They put everyone at ease. Not to mention coming all the way to NJ for one night, but 5 months pregnant and Maria had no problem climbing trees, laying on the ground and riding the bus with us- anything to get the perfect shot! At one point, my feet hurt so bad Maria gave me hers and walked around the park barefoot- she is just incredible!
  After the wedding, Maria continued to impress, she turned around our photos quickly and they are beautiful! Friends and family go out of their way to praise our wedding photos, calling them 'phenomenal' and 'out of this world'. Maria did an outstanding job making us comfortable and capturing how happy and excited everyone was on our wedding day. She gave us an amazing gift: beautiful photos that will forever commemorate one of the best days of our lives.

  Picking Maria Linz Photography for my wedding was one of the easiest decisions I had to make during the wedding process. Maria is so easy to work with and not to mention, an all around fun person. She is laid back but also on top of it at the same time. She quickly responded to all of my many questions and her flexibility was so greatly appreciated. There was rain in the forecast on my wedding day, and Maria made sure we got every shot we needed before the rain. She also kept me calm on the wedding day and knew where to be and when. We are in love with our pictures and couldn't be happier that we hired her.

  Maria was an excellent photographer. My husband and I both have a tendency to take awkward pictures, and we selected Maria because we thought that she would be good at directing us into poses (basically telling us what to do, but in a very nice way) to create beautiful scenes. She delivered and our pictures are fantastic. Maria is a warm and friendly person, and we enjoyed getting to know her through the process.

  We were married November 2014 and hired Maria and her second photographer Helen for our Baltimore wedding. They captured every detail and every guest who attended our wedding at the Visionary Arts Museum. That day we had 50 mph winds to battle with and the pictures are amazing. The world wind of fall colors and gust of wind in my veil made for a memorable day. Maria and Helen are a great pair. One with more or a creative edge and the other the classic wedding photos. They were on time, very professional, and very pleasant to work with. I highly recommend Maria and team for any event and can't wait to work with her again in the future.

  Our daughter's wedding was just held on 5.15.15 so I'm writing about the experience of working with Maria, Helen and Lee. I already know from the engagement photos that the end product will be exceptional. Maria made all of the planning a breeze and she and Whitney hit it off immediately as fellow Maryvale girls. Helen and Lee were simply wonderful at the ceremony and reception. They didn't miss a thing, but were never intrusive or bossy. That's so key for a photographer at a wedding. I couldn't recommend them more highly!

  I can’t even express how pleased and grateful that we were able to book Maria for our wedding. Not only is her work of a higher quality, but you are getting so much more than a photographer when you hire her.
  
  You have a question for her – her response is immediate. You have an idea you want to incorporate – she finds a way (even if she is 7 months pregnant and has to climb onto a windowsill to take the perfect shot ;D )
  
  She went above and beyond – she bustled my dress, made sure I was in the right place at the right time, made sure I was hydrated and fed, and she hung out with me and kept me entertained while my wedding party disappeared to the bar! She is so comfortable to be around that taking those awkward pictures becomes a good time! I wish I had more events in my life that I could hire her for. But I have her on speed dial when it’s time for a newborn shoot!

  I really can’t express how amazing Maria is. I think her work speaks for itself, and can be summed up in one word: stunning! She really is phenomenal and I’m so happy with chose her to be part of our special day.   Photography is all you're left with once the party is over, so choosing a wedding photographer is a really important decision. I actually chose my wedding date based on Maria's availability, because I knew she was the photographer I had to have. You get what you pay for, and Maria Linz Photography is worth every penny (and then some). Maria and her second photographer Helen traveled from Baltimore to New Jersey for our wedding, and we have the most amazing photographs from beginning to end of our day. Further, they were both such calming and friendly presences to have around during the hectic and stressful times. Everyone was at ease with both photographers- including my camera-shy husband. He's actually smiling naturally in all the photos! They had great ideas for where to stop for photo ops, and executed my vision for the day in such a way that the photographs are better than I ever could have dreamed. On more than one occasion they "rescued" me from being locked into conversations with guests so I could enjoy the day to the fullest. Truly, above and beyond service, professionalism, and friendliness. I can't wait to have an excuse to hire them again!

  Maria was the very first vendor I booked for my daughter's wedding. I saw her work on a friend's Facebook page, as she had photographed their wedding, and immediately knew I had to have her for Rachel's big day.
  
  It turned out to be a great choice. She is the sweetest person, easy to work with, fun to be around, enthusiastic, energetic and knows exactly what she's doing. She can get anyone to smile. My daughter had her engagement shoot done on a forest walking path she frequented with her now husband, Sam. They turned out amazingly well, even though the day was cloudy and rain threatened. Maria made everything look magical. I can hardly wait to see the wedding shots. With Maria's talents and the gorgeous garden venue, they are sure to be breathtaking.
  
  She is not inexpensive. But with Maria, you get what you pay for, and a little more. I would highly recommend her.

  Maria did a fabulous job photographing our wedding. She was professional and got all of our requested photographs. She also made the photographs after the ceremony very succinct so that we could have time to enjoy our guests, but still get a photograph with everyone we needed to! She was creative with all of our different poses and arrangements. She took fabulous candids throughout that are so special to us. We have such fabulous pictures that I can't even decide which ones to print, so I'll probably print them all!

  I had the pleasure of working with Maria and Helen as my photographers on my wedding day and they were an absolute joy to work with! There were a lot of unplanned things that came up at the last minute before the ceremony and Maria remained calm and organized and we were able to get all of the pictures we wanted. Her and Helen were also extremely efficient in getting all of the pictures after the ceremony in a very small amount of time. I knew that we were in good hands and even though things got a little crazy - our pictures would be perfect!
  I worked with Maria for my engagement pictures, as well, and they were also great! Maria has an awesome personality and it was so easy to get along with her. She was also great at responding quickly to my emails about any questions I had. The pictures we have from our wedding are so amazing and ones we will treasure for a lifetime!   I honestly cannot say enough AMAZING things about Maria's photography. She is absolute doll to work with and so so sweet. She has an incredible eye and is incredibly talented at what she does. She has a background in graphic design and it definitely comes through in all her products. I had Maria for my engagement session and she was SO flexible because my fiance at the time (now husband), is military and so he was only in town every so often when he could take leave. He was set to be in Japan for 4 months and so we had a 2-week window in August and Maria squeezed us in and made it possible for us to have summer engagement photos, instead of around Christmas time. For our wedding, we had Maria and Helen. Oh my goodness, the talent involved in this PERFECT team. Helen has an incredibly artistic eye that sees great, unique shots before taking them. Maria had JUST returned after maturity leave and was energetic and enthusiastic as ever! My parents loved these two so much and appreciated their demeansor, positive attitude, kindness, and thoughtfulness! I cannot praise these women enough!!!! The quality of their work was indescribable. Maria put all the photos on a website so I could pass it along online to friends and family. I am SO PLEASED with the results and can't wait to receive the printed photos. THANK YOU to the best photographers in the market!

  Maria Linz Photography is an excellent vendor to work with!! She is passionate about the work she does and it shows in the many engagement photos and wedding photos that she shot for us! She also was always quick to respond to emails. Her staff photographer Amanda was wonderful to work with as well. Our family members kept commenting about how each of the photographers happened to be right there to capture each moment on our special day.   We actually was referred to Maria by a co-worker who had Maria photograph both of her daughter's weddings. When my husband and I met with Maria we absolutely fell in love with her excitement, love and passion for photography, we knew right away that we wanted her to capture our special day. All of her packages include an engagement session which was wonderful because neither my husband nor I like to have our pictures taken. This time definitely helped us become more comfortable in front of the camera, and Maria made the session fun. Whenever I had questions about anything Maria always got back to me within 24-48 hours. When it came time for the wedding day, Maria jumped in feet first and as soon as she walked in the door began capturing moments of our wedding. She was wonderful, we had a few young children in the wedding and she was great with them. Her assistant Helen was also great. Helen was with my husband and his family and my Mother-in-Law is still raving at how Helen was so easy going and wonderful. Maria truly captured all the moments we wanted captured, she even asked before the wedding for any special poses or groups that we wanted taken. As soon as our pictures were posted on-line everyone who has seen them has just raved about them! I've had several engaged friends or soon-to-be engaged friends ask for her contact information.

  Maria is seriously fun but professional at the same time. We hired Maria to shoot our wedding and even though our wedding is not until 2015 I wanted to write a review for our engagement session. My fiance and I had mentioned to Maria that we would love to do the engagement shoot in the snow, if we got the chance, not thinking it could really be possible given that it doesn't snow often where we live. Maria reached out to us every time their was a chance of snow fall and finally this past week, it snowed and Maria was able to do our engagement session in a matter of three hours notice. She made us feel so comfortable and relaxed the entire time and even allowed our goldendoodle to make a couple of appearances. Not only was the session so much fun, she had our photo's edited within a couple of days! The end product was unbelievably beautiful and I for one cannot wait for 2015 so I can see what she does for our wedding :)

  Maria came highly recommended by a few professional vendors in the wedding industry as well as a few personal friends who have gone through the wedding planning process. After working with her I am not surprised at all. She is extremely professional, thoughtful, calming and a top notch vendor.
  
  While I worked with Maria leading up to the wedding, we actually had Helen as our main photographer for the engagement pictures and wedding. I told my husband after the wedding, I am extremely thankful we had her by our side. She was almost like a bridesmaid in the way I leaned on her for support and guidance throughout the wedding and she did an excellent job at that in addition to the phenomenal photos!!!!

  My family calls the me their personal archivist. I keep everything and take a million pictures to document every phase of life. Naturally, my wedding day would not be left off that important list of necessary pictures. I was incredibly picky about who I wanted (read: trusted) to take some of the most important pictures in my life time. I knew a lot of people who had Maria and crew take their photos and they all had such glowing things to say about her I obviously had to check her out. When I went to sit down with her at her then townhouse I already knew I was going to like working with her because she was laid back and family friendly (and with an Italian/Catholic wedding I was definitely going to need someone family friendly). I was blown away by her pictures and we had such a good chat that I walked away not wanting to look at anyone else. I went home and told my now husband that Maria was it done and done now we just had to pick a package. Fast forward 14 months after booking Maria to right before the wedding, she was flexible and accommodating (even to the point of waking up for a sunrise engagement session on Memorial Day because we had to get back to LA that day for my husband to get back to work) She made us so comfortable with taking our picture, a very hard task might I add and as we were leaving the e-session my husband turned to me and said "she's perfect!" One month later we were wed, Maria arrived early to get started and took every picture I asked her too. She was able to control our wedding party of 27 and take pictures in 3 places in 1 1/2 hours (how? I am still trying to figure that out). The pictures are truly amazing and I still have people in my bridal party and family telling me how much they love Maria! My uncle said "every where you looked there she was! She got a picture of everything!" I would whole heartedly recommend Maria to anyone who asked for references on a photographer. You will not be disappointed.

  Maria and Helen were fantastic photographers! We met with Maria in October last year for our engagement photos and had so much fun! She is so relaxed, easy going, and flexible. We loved all of our engagement photos! We ended up making a guest book out of all of the photos for the wedding and made our save the dates with them. All of our wedding guests loved them! We could not be happier with how our wedding photos turned out! We are so in love with them! Maria and Helen were so much fun the day of the wedding. They helped out throughout the entire day, and even helped me my bustle broke!   My husband and I have been so impressed with Maria Linz Photography! Unfortunately, Maria was already booked on the day of our wedding but we were able to book Helen (Maria's associate photographer) and boy were we WOWed! Helen did a fantastic job! She photographed our engagement session and our wedding day and we were very pleased with both! She was very professional...always arrived to venues early and prepared. She had so many great ideas and created a comfortable environment. During our engagement session Helen never made us feel rushed...she spent a good amount of time with us making sure we got all the photos we wanted..and we asked for a lot! She didn't even hesitate to say yes when we asked her if we could use horses during our session! :) On the big day as you could imagine I was very nervous and my stomach was in knots all morning...but as soon as Helen arrived suddenly I felt a sense of excitement and the nerves just went away.

  Maria did the 2010 wedding of one of our sons whose finance knew her from high school. As the MOG, I worked with her on creating a picture/guest book for the reception, and was impressed by her professionalism then. We were so thrilled with those wedding pictures that when our daughter got engaged in August, 2012, Maria was the very first vendor we contacted. A nine month lead time for a June wedding is really pushing it, and we were very lucky that the date was still open. I signed Maria's contract immediately - without even bothering to shop around! On the day of our daughter's wedding, Maria's experience and professional demeanor was invaluable: the entire wedding party (22 of them!!) had assembled at our house, along with various aunts, uncles, & parents of the groom, to do the reveal and formal photos ahead of the ceremony/reception. It could have been chaotic, but Maria orchestrated
  everything efficiently, kept us on time, and even managed to pin on most of the mens' boutonnieres when everybody else was all thumbs! Throughout the day she was discreetly everywhere capturing all the action, and the photos we received within 6 weeks of the date are outstanding. My one complaint is that it's too hard to choose a reasonable number of pictures from such a wealth of them!!!

  Maria is amazing and so easy to work with! We met with her several months before our wedding to discuss photography for our wedding day. She was very thorough in her explanation and customized a package that fit our needs for the day. We had an engagement shoot with her prior to the wedding which helped us to get to know her more.
  Maria is incredibly responsive and simply fun to be around. She smoothly captured all of our family, bridal attendant, and couple photos throughout the wedding day. She has a way of making you feel at ease while she is photographing.
  Maria exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend her to other couples. We have already received several compliments from our guests about how splendid the wedding photos are.

  I can't say enough positive things about Maria and Helen. They made us feel very comfortable during the picture sessions. During the wedding and the reception they knew how to move around and capture all the right moments without being in the way. They are so talented and really are experts.   Maria did a phenomenal job photographing our engagement session and our wedding. We enjoyed working with Maria throughout the entire wedding planning process. She always had good ideas for places to go for pictures, and was open to our ideas as well. She was flexible with what dates and times she could meet with us and was very thorough in all of her communications with us.
  
  On our wedding day, Maria made everyone feel very comfortable and she worked very well with our wedding party, including the kids we had in the wedding. Before she left, she made sure we had all the pictures we wanted and she even stayed a bit later than we had booked her for.

  Maria was perfect! She is an amazing photographer, you would not believe the amount of compliments we have received from our engagement and wedding pictures. She even helped us picking our DJ who was also great. Maria is down to earth and authentic. I felt more like she was a friend taking pictures on our wedding day than a photographer we hired.   I cannot say enough good things about Maria and her partner Hellen! They were fantastic and just so easy to work with!!! Maria is so open about any ideas we had about different shots we wanted and during our engagement and wedding day, Maria brought some of her own props for us to use in our pictures. On the day of the wedding, both Maria and Hellen were so helpful with everything and actually kept us on track with everything, they truly wore two hats, photographers and wedding planners! They were fun and energetic and they had our entire wedding party smiling and feeling comfortable while taking a zillion pictures. I have not seen our actual wedding pictures yet, but based off what our engagement pictures looked like, I know they are going to be absolutely beautiful!!!

  Simply the best. The packages start with an engagement session that made all the difference in getting comfortable with our photographer Helen. We had so much fun and felt very comfortable with Helen taking on one of the most important elements of the wedding. We recieved our Engagment photos via thumbnail and with our license for duplication very quickly. We cannot wait to see the wedding proofs.

  Maria was wonderful! She took charge of our posed photo shoots and helped keep things rolling so we could enjoy our wedding reception! Maria is truly an artist and was extremely flexible working with us to create a few specialty shots that we had seen on Pinterest and fallen in love with - I think her versions of those shots actually turned out better than we could have expected.
  
  Despite having her own wedding within a week of ours, Maria found time to post a few "sneak peek" shots onto Facebook for us and our guests in advance of having the remainder of the photos. She was great to work with and I would recommend her whole-heartedly to any bride who wants the photography go smoothly! She's not the least expensive photographer we interviewed but she was worth every penny!!!

  On the business side, we had a great experience working with Maria to set up a contract tailored to our needs. We really appreciated her flexibility in dealing with our crazy requirements!
  On the photography side, we were so lucky to have had Helen as our photographer. She, along with the second photographer Nicole, captured the feel of our day from start to finish. Helen's ability to keep us on task and to go with the flow when our event time line changed mid-reception was wonderful. And the pictures.......where to begin. There were so many great shots that we are still trying to narrow down our favorites. We love the photo documentary style of the pictures, the creativity in the posed shots, and the way both photographers were able to capture to beauty and personality of the event. Our friends and family have been in awe of the photos they have seen. Maria and Helen were recommended to us by a coworker and we could not be happier with the results!

  We could not have been happier with Maria Linz Photography. Her style suited us so well and we loved the photo journalistic approach she has. We used Maria for our engagement pictures and she made us feel so comfortable posing and was so much fun to work with.
  Maria found a great location to take pictures on our wedding day and once the wedding started we didn't even notice she was there. She took great pictures from all different angles.

  Maria is FANTASTIC. Not only is she an amazing photographer but she was indispensible the day of. Maria bustled my dress! We have received tons of compliments on our pictures. Maria also believes that you deserve to have the right to print as many of your pictures as you want... you get full rights!

  Maria and Helen were absolutely amazing! I got my pictures back quickly, and I got 1200 pictures! Maria was 8 months pregnant on the day of my wedding, and was still a rock star! Also, Helen saved the day when my dress ripped and had a sewing kit in her bag. Pictures were really important to me, and I am so glad that I had Maria and her team with me on my day!

  Maria did an amazing job with our wedding photographs. She caught every moment perfectly. She was also such a pleasure to work with - both before the wedding and during it. Our family and wedding party commented about how great she was. She was responsive every time I needed anything and very accomodating when setting up the dates and times. The photographer was a very important aspect of our wedding because our memories will, unfortunately, fade and I could not be happier with the memories that we will always have thanks to Maria.   I don't even know where I should start this review--we had the best experience working with Maria and Helen, her assistant. Maria did all of the booking, scheduling, and organizing, and Helen was our lead photographer (along with Carly) for the day of our event. We could not have been happier with the entire thing--the planning and purchasing of the package was very easy and Maria is very felxible and reasonably priced! We met with Helen to discuss our wishes for the big day and were thrilled with the photos she took at our engagement shoot (included in the price). On the day of, she was extremely professional and very personable, helping us in pretty much every way. She had a wedding kit, including fashion tape, a sewing kit, and everything else you could imagine, which came in handy multiple times throughout the day. Her expereience was obvious and completely invaluable. She was very quick about getting everyone lined up, in and out, so we could get all of the shots we wanted and still have time to party at the reception! She was instrumental in helping to repair my dress after an incident with our limo driver, and has continued to help support us as we straighten the issue out. we honestly don't know what we would have done without her--she was completely invaluable!

  I felt that Maria was extremely organized and helpful in the days leading up to the wedding. She provided a detailed schedule of events for the day of, that helped me to plan and organize the bridal party. On the day of the wedding, I knew I could count on Maria to keep us on schedule. She welcomed suggestions and opinions on where and when pictures should be taken, but then took charge in the artistic and stylistic side. Maria and Helen not only took beautiful photographs, but also captured the joy and celebration of the event. When you look through the pictures, it feels like you are reliving our wedding day. They made a point to capture all of the important pictures I requested, but did so much more. Other members of the bridal party and guests at the wedding commented on how professional, kind, and fun our photographers were. And then were further blown away when they actually saw the pictures. I would not want anyone else for such an important day!

  Maria is such a talented photographer. Neither my husband, nor I enjoy having our pictures taken, but from the minute we started our engagement photo session, we felt comfortable with Maria and she made it so easy! We thought it would be awkward posing for the pictures, but Maria is very quick, she would pick a location, tell us what to do, snap a few shots and then we would move on. The engagement photos turned out beautifully. I really think that having this time with Maria prior to the wedding helped to make the big day run very smoothly.
  
  We hired two photographers for our wedding day, which was definitely worth it. My husband and I decided not to see each other prior to the ceremony so it was nice to have Maria at the house with me as I was getting ready, and the second photographer at the church to get shots of the guys. Plus, the double coverage at the reception ensured that nothing was missed! Unfortunately, the second photographer was not as good as Maria and her photographs were not of the same quality, but it was still worth having the second photographer for more coverage.
  
  One thing that was really important to me was that we did not spend too much time after the ceremony with the portrait shots so that we could get to the reception before cocktail hour was over. Maria really knew what she was doing. She was quick and efficient and made it really quite painless! We made it to the reception with plenty of time to mingle with our guests prior to dinner.
  
  I was really impressed that between Maria and the second photographer, we had pictures of just about every guest at the wedding (and we had close to 150 people!) They actually did such a good job that I was able to send most people pictures of themselves from the wedding with their thank you card. This was such a simple thing, but everyone really appreciated the small token from the wedding, and I have Maria to thank for that.
  
  Maria did such an amazing job at capturing our special day. Her ability to capture the little details and all of the special moments of that day continue to amaze me. Every time I look at my wedding pictures I am reminded of that beautiful day and the amazing family and friends that were there to share it with us. If you want a professional photographer that is fun to work with, is extremely talented and will capture the story of your big day for you to remember forever, definitely go with Maria Linz!

  Maria was the best choice I ever made. I have been to tons of weddings and viewed tons of wedding photos and (although biased) I had the most amazing wedding photos. She was receptive to my personal requests and very flexible. Her use of special lenses really added a special touch to the photos. People who were not able to attend my wedding commented that in the short preview montage, they felt as if they had been at the wedding - she had captured the spirit of the event so well.   We are so happy we found Maria and her exceptional group of photographers! Helen and Carly's work is amazing. They worked so hard and were so discreet about everything. They captured the moments as they evolved naturally, but also were very quick to get the few of the must-have portraits for posterity. They made me feel totally comfortable even though my nerves were getting the best of me. I would recommed Helen and Carly again and again...they were wonderful.   Although, I was not the bride, I am the sister and MOH of the bride and to say the least Maria's photographers are the BEST!. We had the enjoyment and privilege to work with Helen (and Carly)on my sister's special day. Helen is fabulous, you didn't even know she was there half the time. She is fun, patient and does wonders with that camera of hers. I am so excited to to see the final product of all of Helen's hard work. I have not met Maria directly but have dealt with her through emails, she is sincere and professional and truly understands what the bride/grooms photgraphy needs are.   I loved my photographers! I was a "haven't been dreaming of my wedding since I was a child" kind of a bride and appreciated the direction and help that Helen and Megan provided. They were professional, organized, direct yet fun and easy-going at the same time. They were there, but barely there which is just what I wanted. Unobtrusive but able to get the quality shots. All of the guests kept talking about just how great they were. And my pictures turned out beautifully! The only downside is that I'm going to have too many good ones to choose from :-)

  When we first met with her, she was so flexible in putting together a package with all the things we wanted (and none of the things we didn't) at the right price for us.
  
  As we planned everything, she was super responsive and always available to answer our questions. She seemed genuinely excited to be involved with our wedding day!
  
  On the day, she made everyone feel comfortable and did a great job - we hardly even noticed she was there, yet she managed to get pictures of just about everything. She also did a great job of getting pictures of every combination of people; my husband's parents are divorced, so that wasn’t easy, but she didn’t forget anyone! We were running a little bit late when the ceremony ended, and Maria's easy direction and quick decision helped us to make up that lost time without sacrificing picture quality. She was extremely easygoing and willing to indulge all of our "now take on there!" last-minute desires.
  
  Finally, after the wedding, Maria continued to be responsive (I've heard horror stories of photographers that stop answering e-mails once your wedding is over!).   Would highly recommend Maria and her services to other DC/Baltimore area couples! She is incredibly helpful, creative and flexible. Her pictures are beautiful and we couldn't have been happier with the photographs of our wedding day.

  Maria was hands-down the best vendor at our wedding (and we had great vendors). She went above and beyond her responsibilities. She was fast so we could enjoy our cocktail hour and her shots were absolutely amazing! We will use her for all our photography needs!

  We had two photographers with Helen leading the charge. To say she was fantastic is an understatement. I've even gotten many compliments from my guests about how much they loved Helen. During the ceremony and reception I did not even know she was there. She took fantastic photos while being unobtrusive. Maria, although not our photographer, has been great to work with as well. I would recommend Maria Linz Photography to anyone!

  Maria is amazing! Great eye for detail, so easy to work with and absolutely stunning photos. I can't begin to tell you how many compliments I have received on my photos. All of my engaged friends have asked for her info after seeing my proofs. She is easy to contact and goes over every detail for the big day!!!

  We loved working with Maria & Greg. Our engagement photos were fantastic and Maria is superb at leading and directing a crowd. She is energetic and goes for it! We took pictures on our wedding day on rocks by a waterfall, she has no fear!

  Maria is ABSOLUTELY fabulous! Book her and you'll definitely love your photos. :) I was so excited to work with her after just meeting with her once...and my instinct was right. The wedding day was an absolute blast. Dorian and I loved working with her. I hardly noticed Maria, Helen and Lisa, but when I did, they were so fun and suggested some great shots. You spend the whole day with your photographer but it's fun with Maria. Helen was great to work with as well. We just received our photographs -- they are absolutely beautiful, creative, artistic and definitely photojournalistic. We are so glad we chose Maria as our photographer -- it was hands down, one of the best decisions we made!
