An absolute wedding venue gem
We recently had our wedding at Marbella Country Club, and it exceeded all our expectations! Kailee, the wedding venue coordinator, was an absolute gem. As a bride with countless questions, I truly appreciated how patient and responsive she was throughout the entire planning process. Her industry experience, organizational skills, and attention to detail made everything so much easier.
The venue itself is simply stunning. The cocktail hour area is spacious, the ceremony space features a breathtaking open fountain backdrop, and the outdoor reception terrace is especially beautiful at sunset. There are countless photo-worthy spots throughout the property, resulting in some truly amazing pictures! Marbella also provides a perfect canvas for any decor you envision.
Marbella was incredibly accommodating to our needs. They allowed us to drape the indoor dance floor, bring in outdoor desserts (we had Yogurtland), and even use sparklers, which not all venues permit. Kailee also coordinated some special rentals for us through their partner, Signature Party Rentals.
Overall, I couldn’t be happier with our choice of Marbella Country Club. I thought the venue was priced reasonably for how beautiful the venue is, especially being in South Orange County. It was a a convenient location for our guests, many of them found the venue easy to access and appreciated how seamlessly everything flowed. The dinner menu was also delicious! If you’re looking for a beautiful venue with a coordinator who genuinely cares about making your day special, I highly recommend Marbella Country Club!-

Gorgeous venue
Marbella Country Club is one of the most gorgeous venues ever. I don’t even remember how I found this gem of a place but I’m so glad I did! The picture of the double staircase into the reception terrace is what made me want to tour, and then meeting Kaile and seeing the beautiful grounds and architecture made us want to sign! The archways and cypress trees give it a bit of a European/Mediterranean vibe, and I loved the outdoor string lights across the dinner terrace and the cocktail hour space. I really wanted an all outdoor wedding under twinkling lights, and I sure found that with Marbella. We did our ceremony on the lawn with the golf course and pond in the background and it was beautiful. Everything is so pristine here, you can tell it’s a very well taken care of space. Kaile was our main contact for Marbella and she was so kind and patient with me as I emailed with her back and forth well over 150 times over the 2 year planning period. While she was out on leave, her coworker Maggie stepped in, and we did our menu tasting with her. Maggie is just as excellent as Kaile and it made us very confident in our decision of booking with Marbella. The email threads I have between both of them are so long, I feel like I have more than enough experience and evidence to say that they are the best people to work with as a bride. No question was too silly or small to answer, and both made sure I had everything I needed for the wedding day. All of our guests loved the venue and were impressed with everything. We had our dance floor and reception inside so that we could continue partying past 10pm. Having a gated entrance and then driving up the road to the fountain and a grand circular driveway with the open air arched hallways in the backdrop made a very good first impression of the venue. -

Our Wedding at Marbella
Our wedding at Marbella was everything we dreamed of and more. From the very beginning, the staff was incredible, and the venue coordinator, Kaile, was truly a gem. She made the entire process so easy and enjoyable.
On the day of our wedding, everything ran so smoothly thanks to her and the amazing team. We felt so cared for and could truly enjoy every moment without worry. The venue itself is gorgeous, but what makes it even more special is the people behind it. We are so grateful to Kaile and the staff for making our day absolutely perfect. -

Dream Wedding!

Marbella Wedding
The Marbella team truly went above and beyond!! I have nothing but the best things to say about Kaile and team. They are so incredibly sweet, helpful and knowledgeable. A Gem of a Venue
Our wedding at Marbella Country Club was an absolute dream come true! The breathtaking setting amidst the lush green golf course hills created a picturesque backdrop for our special day. The delectable cuisine served was an absolute delight, leaving our guests raving about the flavorful dishes for weeks (some of the best steak we’ve ever had). The friendly and attentive service provided by the staff added an extra layer of warmth and comfort, making everyone feel right at home.
A special shoutout to Kaile, a beyond exceptional coordinator, who worked tirelessly with our wedding designer to create and elegant yet personal wedding reception. She truly went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our day was perfect.
Even when unexpected rain threatened our outdoor reception, the staff at Marbella Country Club swiftly adapted, seamlessly transitioning cocktail hour indoors, while monitoring the weather minute by minute. The rain quickly passed and the Marbella team did a great job of wiping off tables and chairs during cocktail hour so we could still have our reception outdoors. It was a dream even with the rain. Their professionalism and dedication to ensuring our day was flawless truly made our wedding unforgettable.
We cannot thank the team enough for their outstanding service and flexibility. Highly recommended for couples looking for a magical and hassle-free wedding experience!-

Marbella Country Club
From the moment we entered the gates of the Marbella Country Club to for our site tour we knew Marbella was a special place and by the time we walked up the staircase to the main terrace we knew Marbella was the perfect venue for our dream wedding. It was the most beautiful setting and had everything we wanted and more.
We had ceremony on the lawn, cocktail hour on the terrace, and dinner on the main terrace under twinkling lights and chandeliers. We loved that there were so many spaces available to use for our wedding. We also utilized the bridal suite to get ready in and had lunch catered by the venue.
The wedding packages were priced very reasonably and we liked that they offered different add-ons. We did add-on a champagne greeting for guest arrival and late night snacks, which were a hit with our guests.
We continue to receive compliments on our wedding, how beautiful the venue was, how tasty the food was, and how wonderful the guest experience was.
We worked with Kaile throughout the entire wedding planning process. Kaile is professional, detailed oriented, and so kind. She always answered our questions promptly. She handled our last minute requests with ease. She was also there for our rehearsal and the day of our wedding. She went above and beyond to make our dream wedding a reality.

10/10 Wedding Venue + Event Coordinator
My husband and I recently got married and we can’t say enough good things about Marbella Country Club and Kaile Watters!
We repeatedly say how happy we are we chose Marbella for our reception venue. We were able to utilize 3 different spaces at Marbella and our guests enjoyed the unique experience. We loved how much natural beauty and elegance Marbella has. Working with Kaile was the cherry on top. I can’t tell you how many times throughout the planning process that my husband and I turned to each other and said “Thank God we picked this place, Kaile is the best.” She was so attentive to our many requests and did everything we asked with a smile (and we asked for a LOT). She was flexible, kind, completely transparent, and always responsive. Like I said, we had many requests and we noticed such a difference between Kaile and other venue event coordinators when we brought up these requests. She worked so well with our wedding planner and the two of them made our wedding day an absolute dream come true. My number one priority when selecting vendors was to go with the people who I would want to be around on my wedding day and Kaile truly was the best. Staying true to that priority made for the most enjoyable experience from start to finish. You will thank yourself 1000x over for choosing to work with Kaile and her team and celebrating your special day at Marbella!-

Marbella is all about the details and final touches.
There are so many wonderful things I can say about Marbella. First, let me give a personal thank you to Kaile. She was a breath of fresh air. So was considerate, helpful, and professional. She took the time to answer questions about the venue, as as provide valuable suggestions for the vendors. The day of wedding it was all about the details and final touches. The venue and my wedding planner (H&L Lovely) worked so well together to provide the wedding of our dreams. The staff, the venue setup, and the food was top notch. We still get compliments from our guest on the service and food (so delicious). Overall, it was a fabulous experience and I would highly recommend Marbella. Most Stunning Venue
Where do I even begin?! This venue is breathtaking, spectacular food and service. Our coordinator, Kaile, was such a pleasure to work with. She is so friendly, accommodating, very responsive, and made our wedding planning so effortless. My guests raved about the service at the reception and how great the food was! The venue is a perfect place to take your post ceremony photos. I really couldn’t have picked a more perfect venue. Venue is so clean and immaculate. The reception faces a gorgeous view of the golf course and overall just breathtaking. I immediately booked this venue on our first visit. So look no further! -

BEST Venue and BEST Team @ Marbella!!
First off, I cannot express how thankful I am to have had my dream wedding at Marbella. Not only was the Venue breathtaking, but Kaile (Event Coordinator) and her team was an absolute BLESSING!!! They were understanding with my European culture and accepted the ethnic traditions we have, Kaile was extremely helpful and responsive, not only did she calm my pre wedding jitters, she was one of the biggest blessings I had while planning my wedding. I would recommend Marbella Country Club to any bride wanting their wedding in Southern California!!-

okay...this review is a long time overdue! I am a wedding planner and had the absolute pleasure working with Kaile and her team. As a wedding vendor, you always want to work with professional vendors who are team players and Marbella Country Club and their staff were just that! They were so accommodating from our first correspondence all the way to the end of the event. Marbella Review for Summer Wedding
Kaile and the entire Marbella team were amazing to work with! They were responsive, professional, and very accommodating. Kaile was so receptive and easy to work with. She put up with my endless questions and changes from table seating to linen colors. Also the food here is outstanding. My guests were raving about it for weeks after. The scenic backdrop of the golf course paired with Marbella's excellent service and professionalism truly made our wedding one of a kind. If you are looking for a beautiful, elegant, and timeless venue, look no further. Marbella has everything for everyone, and it is gorgeous. Amazing Experience!
I worked with Kaile and her team for my clients' wedding this June. I was their wedding planner and day of coordinator, and working with the Marbella was a breeze. They were on top of everything leading up to the wedding and on the wedding day. Their catering team was timely yet flexible throughout the event. Marbella is the BEST!
We absolutely LOVED having our wedding at Marbella! The staff was so friendly and professional. Kaile is the sales director for all the weddings and she is AMAZING. So sweet, knowledgeable and was one of the main reasons why we chose Marbella because we could tell she truly cared about us. The actual venue is gorgeous and so well kept. We got SO many compliments on the food and drinks, which were part of our package at Marbella. You can also use their preferred vendors, which we did, and they are top notch. We had pretty bad weather conditions pop up three days before our wedding, and Kaile and the entire Marbella team were SO helpful and worked overtime to help us adjust our plans (moving our whole wedding inside), pulled in other vendors to help us and changed our whole wedding plan with a smile on thier face. It took all of the stress off of us, which is what Kaile and her team accomplished throughout the whole process - took headaches off our plate and put it on theirs. My husband and I had the ablsute BEST day, and a huge part of that was Marbella and thier amazing team. Best wedding venue ever!! We would (and will) highly recommend Marbella and Kaile to anybody looking into venues for their wedding, they are simply the gold-standard. -

The Perfect Venue
Marbella Country Club was the perfect venue for our daughter's wedding reception. It was truly beautiful. The backdrop of the golf course was stunning. The grounds were the perfect place for cocktail hour, and the terrace was ideal for dinner and dancing. The staff made the whole process very easy. Kaile Watters was exceptional. She was incredibly supportive when we had to move the date during the pandemic, and then was amazing throughout the entire planning process. There were so many details and she helped pull them all together beautifully. On the day of the reception, Travis, the food and beverage manager, was also amazing. He went above and beyond to make the entire event perfect. I would highly recommend this venue for any large event.-

Look no further. MCC is it!
Planning a wedding during a pandemic was no small task. Kaile and the MCC staff were such a pleasure to work with. They made sure everything went off without a hitch despite the multiple lockdowns. The entire evening was perfect and everyone was beyond impressed with the wedding. I cant recommend MCC enough to anyone looking for a fantastic wedding venue.Marbella Country Club's reply:

Incredible wedding day
We recently got married at Marbella and it was seriously the most amazing place to get married. From the get-go the planning process was made SO easy with their amazing team. Kaile was so incredibly responsive, flexible and helpful with the planning process. The food was INCREDIBLE. Not your typical mass produced wedding food--we got countless compliments! The bar service was also amazing and the beverage director actually met with us in person to perfect our signature cocktails!! I truly can not imagine a more perfect venue, and honestly I think it is the most incredible value out there. Dream Wedding
This wedding venue was perfect for our wedding. The country club has beautiful architecture and beautiful grounds. San Juan Capistrano has perfect weather all year and our July 3rd wedding was no exception. The food and drinks were fantastic. Everything we wanted was available through Marbella. Event set up was seamless, everything happened without me needing to say or do anything! Working with Kaile from Marbella was so nice. We had a great tasting and then a great final details meeting. Marbella is a GORGEOUS Wedding Venue!
Marbella was the PERFECT venue for our wedding. Kaile was very professional and on top of things. You can tell she is a seasoned Event Manager. She was very helpful in explaining what to expect and maintained contact with me throughout the process. We were married in May 2021, so leading up to our wedding date, we had fears Marbella would not be open in time due to COVID. Kaile advocated for us and we were able to keep Marbella as our venue. The ceremony lawn at Marbella is unparalleled and the flow from ceremony, to cocktail hour, to reception is flawless. We had our reception on the Catalina terrace with bistro lighting and chandeliers and it was stunning. Our wedding was a true fairy tale. Several of our guests commented on what a gorgeous venue Marbella is and their food is delicious too! Another plus is Marbella has a fairly large Bridal Suite, so you can have all of your bridesmaids, Mama's, and vendors (such as make-up artists) in there comfortably. The Groom's staging area is upstairs and the Bridal Suite is downstairs, so there's no chance the groom can accidentally see you before the wedding, which was important to me. Although a small thing, something else I loved about Marbella is they recently renovated their Women's bathrooms and they are GORGEOUS! The entrance to Marbella is very grand with a gate and meticulous landscape providing an elegant experience for the guests from the moment they arrive all the way through the end of the reception. Marbella played a key role in providing my now husband and I the wedding of our dreams. I would HIGHLY recommend Marbella!Marbella Country Club's reply:

Beautiful venue!
We searched endlessly for venues so we could host our reception on September of 2019. We’re from Chicago and wanted to get married in Southern California, so we wanted a venue that had inside and outside options. We found Marbella and connected with Jennifer. She was amazing from the start. Very well organized and detailed. Since we’ve never done this before, she was excellent in lending her advice and helpful tips. Easily accessible through email and phone. Always answered our questions thoroughly. We all met in person weeks before our wedding and got to see the venue first hand on our visit. It was very helpful to us and allowed us to determine where everything would be set up. We also did a tasting of the food and wine choices and it was amazing to say the least. Their chefs were accommodating with my gluten free diet as well. Kaile took over a couple of weeks before our reception and helped us all the way through. Marbella is on a private property but once inside, very open and beautiful scenery. The staff was wonderful on the day of and nothing was out of place or reach. We highly recommend this venue!-

Best wedding venue got so many compliments!
We decided to go with Marbella County Club because of it's beauty, location, professional staff..and most importantly availability . We had to plan our wedding in two months and staff was so reassuring and confident that we could pull it together! They were truly phenomonal regarding pricing too. We checked out 25 venues in Orange County and none of them compared to Marbella. There are special extras that Marbella gives you that other places will nickel and dime you on. There are no surprises. They are honest, and their price sheet is straoghforward. The day of the wedding, staff , especiall Kaile went above and beyond and even helped me with my rehersal even though she was supposed to go home :). I was brought to tears when I saw my venue on my wedding day. All my vendors also complimented the venue, saying that staff was helpful and accomodating. Not once did myself, or vendors or anyone in the wedding party hear the word "no" or it's "impossible." I just can't stop talking about this place. Their wedding packages are amazing, the venue is beautiful, the food was EXCELLENT. Highly highly highly recommend this place. -

Amazing Experience!
We are extremely satisfied with the exceptional work Marbella provided for the day of our wedding! The venue in itself offered an elegant and timeless atmosphere, something the wedding guests raved about days after. The staff was so flexible and willing to work with us, and made the planning phase seemless. Jennifer was always available to answer any questions my husband and I had, and was willing to work with us with any issue that arose. Kailee was also wonderful to work with; she was able to fine tune all of the details to create such a memorable wedding day for us! Candice with Engaged Events was our wedding planner who was absolutely phenomenal! She seemed to work so well with Jennifer and Kaile as well as all of our other vendors to make our wedding 100 percent stress free and absolutely perfect. I highly recommend Marbella and Engaged Events and am so thankful for both teams! -

Incredible views, amazing food and service
I got married a week ago and all my friends and family are still talking about how amazing my venue was. The price was right, they had an amazing outdoor and indoor set up. Outstanding! There just is NOTHING I can say bad about my experience...Marbella made my wedding amazing. It was going to rain that day and Marbella turned my grand outside wedding into the most beautiful amazingly intimate wedding in front of a fireplace. It was perfect.-

Beautiful venue
We had our ceremony & reception at Marbella. Our coordinator Kaile was wonderful to work with. Since we were both out of town, Kaile was very responsive to our emails and also flexible with helping us schedule on-site visits and a menu tasting. The big day went by smoothly, and everything was amazing!!! All my guests were raving about how gorgeous the venue was. Highly recommend! -

Amazing venue
Marbella was the perfect venue for us. From the time we entered the gates of the country club, we were surrounded by the beautiful scenery and felt like we had traveled far to this getaway, even though it was only a couple cities. The layout of the venue was great too, because guests were taken to different areas for each part of the wedding. Jennifer and Kaile really went above and beyond for us as well. From our first visit to the day of the wedding, they helped make our vision come to life and we couldn’t have asked for a better team. -

Wouldn't have changed a thing!
My husband and I got married on November 3rd, 2018 at Marbella and everything about it was perfect. I would like to first point out that I was planning our wedding from Memphis while my husband lives in LA so there were some hurdles to cross in terms of planning but Marbella did make it seamless.
Jennifer was our coordinator at Marbella and from day one she was extremely professional, excited and accommodating. We had requested 2 tastings (one with and without the parents), and 3 walkthroughs of which Jen needed to be planned the weekends I was in town and Jen made them happen with no hesitation.
Since Marbella only takes on one wedding a weekend, all of the focus was on our wedding that weekend. Marbella allowed us to set up early, gave us the options to drop things off the night before, and pick things up the day after— which was exceptional considering how busy we were that weekend.
Marbella has their preferred vendors, which we willingly used for all our rental supplies, food, cake, etc and we could clearly see why they were preferred. Our wedding was set throughout the entire reception space with our dinner being on the patio underneath a fabric tent and the dancing inside. When we arrived on our wedding day the place looked like a dream. All of our guests were amazed at the view and beauty of the venue, starting with the fountain at the entrance to the scenic golf course in the back.
My husband and I wanted to have a wedding that focused more on quality than quantity and so we wanted the best of everything. It’s safe to say that we had no regrets on our choice of venue and food. As stated our dinner took place on the patio under a fabric tent with chandelier lights. This allowed for our guests to take in the sunset and appreciate the nice California weather. For dinner, we chose the duet of filet mignon and sea bass and it was cooked to perfection. The filet was cooked to a med-med rare of great quality and the sea bass was moist and flaky. Our guests were beyond satisfied with the meal and amazed at the quality of the cuts, preparation, and presentation. While Marbella doesn’t cater their own wedding cake, they do cover the costs of the cake to be made at one of their preferred bakeries which in my opinion is better since more customizations can be made.
Later on in the evening, after much dancing, we had an In-n-Out trailer arrive and serve their signature burgers to our guests. This was a special treat as my whole family is from NY. Marbella allowed the truck to park in the back at the bottom of the stairs which created much anticipation as everyone— as full as they were— could not wait to get their hands on a juicy burger.
We ended the night with a sparkler send off which looked beautiful in front of the fountain in the night sky. We really couldn’t have asked for a more perfect night to celebrate our love with our family and friends.

I just had my wedding (last weekend 6/23/18) at Marbella Country Club and after a quick honeymoon, I honestly could not wait to leave a review for the venue and staff. I booked the venue approximately one year ago after visiting their annual Wedding Show Weekend and was blown away by the views, employees, ambiance AND REASONABLE PRICING of Marbella. Jennifer Wolf was my initial contact and was there every single step of the way to answer my trillion questions, constant event order modifications, and numerous visits for me to get the best visual of my dream wedding to come true. I was very upfront and honest about my budget, expectations, plans, and even that I was planning my own wedding to save the cost of an event planner or coordinator and she was extremely accommodating through it all. I highly recommend!!!
After many visits and email correspondence on prelim details, it was time for our food tasting! My now husband (weird ) and I were blown away by everything we tasted. Warm rolls and butter we're fresh and hot, appetizers we're very creative and a great size for small bites, salads we're crisp and fresh, the entrees were delicious and also a very large portion! I follow a lot of wedding planners on social media for inspiration and ideas and see the tastings they have at other venues that are so tiny! That is not Marbella--the meal prices are extremely reasonable and a great bang for your buck. We ended up selecting the beef skewer and ahi crisp for appetizers and got GREAT feedback. As I was a little busy day of, I only had a chance to try one beef skewer, but it was as delicious as I remember during our tasting. For entrees we had the short rib and roasted chicken - both a huge hit as well!!
Once we were down to the final months before the big day, the correspondence transitioned from Jennifer to her Event Sales Manager Kaile - also a huge pleasure to work with! Kaile was very responsive, accommodating, and very sweet. (See full review on Yelp!!) -

Jennifer Wolf and Kaile Watters were such a joy to work with at Marbella. I had done a lot of venue scouting for the location of our wedding and was exhausted with the process and the struggle with not finding “the one”. I discovered Marbella through The Knot and was so glad that I did. I met with Jen, the event sales director, to go over their offering and to tour the location. Not only was the venue gorgeous it also allowed for us to have an intimate setting, which a lot of the venues I looked at did not. Everything about this location was amazing. I received so many compliments from family and friends about how beautiful the venue was for our wedding and the feeling that we were the only ones there. They did an outstanding job, from the food, gourmet coffee and hot chocolate station, to the overall set up of our reception and ceremony. Everything was outstanding and could not have been accomplished without the help of Jen and Kaile. I would recommend this location to anyone that is looking to get married! -

Our daughter’s wedding at Marbella Country Club (MCC) was absolutely amazing, and way beyond our expectations!!! Before booking the wedding at Marbella, we checked several other venues ranging from Ritz Carlton, Monarch and Montage to Dove Canyon and Coto. We chose MCC because of its charming beauty, elegant set up and the fact that they exclusively host one wedding at a time (unlike Ritz and many other locations that book & juggle 2 weddings same night).
The event coordinators, Jenn and Kaile are true professionals who generously dedicated their time and efforts to make our daughter’s wedding perfect. Guests were impressed with all the attention that was paid to every detail. Besides the gorgeous set up, it was the service that made the night more enjoyable: plenty of servers with trays of gourmet appetizers, butlers walking around and serving wine and champagne to prevent lines at the bar (guests had multiple drinks and almost no lines at the bar due to great staff to guest ratio), valet parking, well groomed professional and super friendly staff.
Food was so amazing that we asked the chef to come out; so we can recognize and thank him. It takes great skills to feed 150 guests at the same time, yet have the food get to the tables hot, look elegant and taste absolutely delicious! The night was so perfect; that many of our guests referred to it as “magical”.

This is an absolutely beautiful venue and the staff is wonderful. From the coordinators to the chef to the bartender, everyone was was friendly and professional. I got married at Marbella on July 15th, 2017 it was my dream wedding made into a reality. I didn't visit many venues when we started the planning process because after Marbella I was in love! The Country Club is beautiful I didn't need extravagant flowers and decorations because I did not want anything taking away from the stunning property. The staff was amazing and very accommodating. I worked mostly with Jennifer and Kaile who were both very professional and made the process so nice and easy. All my guests were so impressed by every aspect and had an amazing time. Everything exceeded my expectations and I could not be happier. -

Absolutely the best!
My fiancée and I searched tirelessly trying to find the perfect venue, and Marbella was the diamond we had been searching for. While many other venues provide you with 4 walls, dance floor, tables, and chairs, Marbella exceeds all expectations.
From the second I drove into Marbella, past the security guard, and walked into the country club past the beautiful water fountain, I thought the venue would be way out of my price range. Boy, was I wrong. The value at Marbella is phenomenal. Marbella is truly the wedding venue of your dreams...with a beautiful ceremony site with amazing golf course and water fountain in the background, to an elegant and stunning entrance that I am sure brides just dream about. After the ceremony, as you take wedding photos with incredible backgrounds that Marbella has to offer, your guests spend a cocktail hour in a warm, very welcoming area, furnished with comfy chair and a fireplace that adds elegance to the room.
For the reception, your guests are taken to another location, outdoor patio (though indoor option is available), which is spacious and beautiful. The food at Marbella is absolutely top-notch. My guests continue to rave that the food at Marbella was the best they've ever had. I had a buffet for approximately 100 guests, and I'd highly recommend consider going that route. For the reception, Marbella provides everything you need in terms of tables, chairs, linens, etc. etc. etc. No stone is left unturned.
For the rest of the party, Marbella has another great room, which provides a large dance floor, lots of lounging room for your guests who need to take a break, and an amazing chandelier in the bar area.
Words cannot express how amazed I was with everything that Marbella had to offer. Spearheaded by Jennifer and Kaile, this stressful day turned out perfect. Thank you so much Marbella. You made the best day of my life absolutely incredible! -

From the second I drove into Marbella, past the security guard, and walked into the country club past the beautiful water fountain, I thought the venue would be way out of my price range. Boy, was I wrong. The value at Marbella is phenomenal. Marbella is truly the wedding venue of your dreams...with a beautiful ceremony site with amazing golf course and water fountain in the background, to an elegant and stunning entrance that I am sure brides just dream about. After the ceremony, as you take wedding photos with incredible backgrounds that Marbella has to offer, your guests spend a cocktail hour in a warm, very welcoming area, furnished with comfy chair and a fireplace that adds elegance to the room.
For the reception, your guests are taken to another location, outdoor patio (though indoor option is available), which is spacious and beautiful. The food at Marbella is absolutely top-notch. My guests continue to rave that the food at Marbella was the best they've ever had. I had a buffet for approximately 100 guests, and I'd highly recommend consider going that route. For the reception, Marbella provides everything you need in terms of tables, chairs, linens, etc. etc. etc. No stone is left unturned.
For the rest of the party, Marbella has another great room, which provides a large dance floor, lots of lounging room for your guests who need to take a break, and an amazing chandelier in the bar area.
Words cannot express how amazed I was with everything that Marbella had to offer. Spearheaded by Jennifer and Kaile, this stressful day turned out perfect. Thank you so much Marbella. You made the best day of my life absolutely incredible! -

Our wedding was at the end of April and it was the most incredible day ever! We looked at several venues and Marbella happened to be the last venue we picked out of whim. We were in awe at how beautiful the venue was! We BOTH agreed on the venue so it was a sign. The coordinators, Jennifer and Kaile, guided us throughout the planning process, making sure we had the wedding we wanted. They were amazing to work with. They recommended that we hire a “day-of” coordinator. Best decision we made, which we highly recommend. Our wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect! The weather was great, picturesque views, delicious food and all our loved ones in one place. It was a magical night. The staff and servers were excellent and attentive. All our guests had a great time, not a single complaint! We had an “open bar by consumption” with a set limit. We actually came under! We ended up doing one BIG group shots of tequila and vodka so nothing was wasted. Epic.
Marbella will always have a special place in our hearts. Thank you for everything! We highly recommend Marbella. Go check them out! Just don’t let the fancy gate entrance steer you away. Marbella is a great value and a steal for what you get! -

Marbella holds a special place in my heart for how incredible and easy they made our big day. We were the first to put the reception on the lawn, cocktails on the terrace, and dancing inside. While it was new and different, Jennifer and the staff made it feel like they've done it like that forever. The whole evening was flawless and the staff is unbelievably accommodating, sweet, and open to whatever new and fun idea you may have. To say we were happy that we picked Marbella is an understatement, they truly have it all. It was the best decision we made and I'm so glad we did! They are definitely 5 stars accross the board. Marbella Country Club was the perfect choice for our wedding! The staff was extremely professional and kindhearted. The venue was NOT a cold ballroom - BUT instead - it was an intimate and elegant environment! Our guests felt as if we rented out an elegant estate that we had all to ourselves! Marbella is a hidden gem where the backdrop and location is perfect for a classic, beautiful wedding. Our wedding was absolutely PERFECT! The catering manager Elizabeth was such a help along the way, answering questions and making sure our special day went flawless, which in all seriousness, it really did...not a SINGLE thing went wrong on our wedding day!!! They are very organized and communicative throughout the whole process so there is less stress added to the already stressed bride! the FOOD was also a huge winner for us and our guests as well. Most venues are pretty, but the food is just gross!! Marbella's food was JUST like our tasting and everyone was shocked at how delicious it was. BRIDES: do yourself a favor and check Marbella out! There's really no possible way you'd be disappointed. -

My dream wedding came true at Marbella Country Club. The venue itself is so beautiful and the wedding coordinators, Jennifer & Elizabeth were a pleasure to work with. They helped me out before the wedding and of course on the wedding day. It is so uncommon to hear of a wedding day going exactly as planned, but I am happy to say that ours did. Marbella Country Club was the most incredible venue I could've had my wedding at! Jennifer and Elizabeth were so wonderful in helping coordinate and execute my wedding day the way I had envisioned it! They were on top of every single possible detail and assured me every step of the way that it was all going to turn out the way I pictured it!
Not to mention the fact that it POURED on our wedding day and Jen and Elizabeth helped calm me down and execute Plan B. Overall, this venue is absolutely incredible. Their packages are almost all inclusive which makes the planning process so much more simple! All I had to outsource was my photographer, my DJ, and my florist. They provided all the linens, tables, chairs, bar, catering, and even the price of our wedding cake was included! All we had to do was select a baker from their list of bakeries that they work with!
I could rave about Marbella for pages and pages but to sum it up, our wedding day was perfect and it was all thanks to Jen and Elizabeth at Marbella Country Club for pulling it all together! -

I am the first to admit I am very clear about what I like, don't like, etc... And my vision for our wedding was no different. While I had initial reservations that Marbella was going to be able to pull off our fairy tale with a modern twist ceremony and reception, after meeting with Ted, Jennifer, and finally Elizabeth (who acts as Marbella's event planner and responded to each and every one of my many daily emails :)), I knew it would be amazing.
Well, I was wrong. It was BEYOND amazing. Marbella and the team blew us all away. The food (appetizers and dinner stations) and bar were on point, the grounds looked clean and well-maintained, the tent guy Marbella recommended (Dave at Amazing Tents) put up tents (last minute, due to potential rain) that literally made our ceremony look like it was in a cathedral, and not a detail was out of place. Our friends and family friends were emailing, calling, texting us for weeks telling us it was the most beautiful wedding they'd ever seen.
From the beginning, Marbella was very accommodating to our needs and desires, and was essentially the perfect canvas for us to paint our dream wedding on. -

We cannot say enough how pleased we are with this venue and its' staff. Elizabeth was awesome. We recently moved out of state and were able to plan almost everything through emails and phone calls. She helped us through the entire process and was a huge help the day of. She helped with the rentals, tasting, and event layout that was included in our package. She was our coordinator the day of and we don’t know what we would have done without her. Her coordination made the day run so smoothly. We had one crisis and she was able to solve it. One of our table numbers went missing. She had a staff member run to a FedEx and a replacement made before the reception. The staff that took over after she left was also great. They made sure we had everything we needed. The food was also amazing! It was exactly, if not better than, what we had at the tasting. Our guest raved about it days after. I highly recommend this venue for weddings. -

Our wedding at Marbella was absolutely stunning. The grounds are gorgeous and the service was impeccable. We were looking for an affordable yet stylish venue and Marbella was the perfect fit. Elizabeth, the venue coordinator, was thorough, caring, professional and clear from start to finish. She answered all of our questions quickly and helped us make decisions. I recently got married at Marbella Country club; and from the day I walked in to check the venue, until the last email saying I left a few items there, it has been a pleasure working with these women.
Jennifer and Elizabeth sure do know what they are doing, they helped me change and rearrange my proposal up until 3 days before. My wedding day was everything I envisioned it to be, from the delicious food (halibut, filet mignon, vegetarian, and they even made a raw veggie tower for my vegan guests). I also just learned that the waitstaff brought a vegan plate out for the few vegan guests during cocktail hour; I didn't even arrange that, talk about going above and beyond!!!!!
I got married on the green grass with their white folding garden chairs; they allowed me to use their arch that my florist adding fabric and flowers too.
The dinner area was held outside on their patio; two doors remained opened for the night to end up indoors dancing since they do have a 10pm noise ordinance. The flow went great (which was my biggest stress and concern), we ate and danced a bit outside; right at 10 we called all the guests in for cake cutting; that lead right into the boquet toss and dancing!
I do recommend this venue to anyone looking for an outdoor space, the entire process of planning was simple and non stressful thanks for Jennifer and Elizabeth. -

Michael and I had our ceremony and reception at Marbella Country Club on May 31st. We chose it because of the location and the beautiful backdrop of the golf course, waterfalls and rolling hills. We had our wedding reception held at Marbella. Elizabeth was so sweet and accomodating to our needs throughout the whole entire process. She walked through our meetings and tasting, and answered all our questions, constantly assuring me that everything was in order, and worked well w/ my outside coordinator. She was always so professional and organized with everything. The food at our tasting was amazing, and even better at the day of our wedding. Even a month afterwards, people were still telling me that it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding reception. I went with fish as one of the items, and even people who never eat seafood ate up all the fish because it was THAT good. Our cake through Marbella was also BEAUTIFUL & taste so good! We had a private bridal room with refreshments where my husband and I would go to take a breather. But the day went by so smooth and quick, we were always busy with our guests that we didn't spent too much time in the bridal room, but it was always there if we needed. Marbella was so worth every penny, I'm surprised a lot of people never heard of it. The venue was beautiful, and the staff were all great. Elizabeth had just started working there in the midding of our wedding planning, after we signed contract with them...and it felt like she had been there for years, she did such an excellent job helping us and made the whole process so easy, all we had to do was just enjoy ourselves on the big day. Marbella Country Club was a fantastic venue for our daughter's wedding!
From the first meeting with Jennifer & Elizabeth the professional care shown to us was beyond words. They both have positive attitudes and offered creative ideas and suggestions that added so much warmth, charm & fun to the day. They were organized, efficient & responded quickly to phone calls & email. They were also fun & easy to work with.
The flow from the outdoor wedding to the cocktail hour, then to dinner on the outdoor patio and indoors for dancing & dessert was perfect. There was more than enough space for each part of the evening.
Marbella's vendor list was extensive. Each vendor we used was also easy to work with and did an excellent job understanding what we envisioned.
The dinner service was extraordinary! Each table was served at the same time so no guest was sitting without food. The food was beautifully presented & delicious. Everything we talked about at our onsite tasting happened!!
One of the joys for me as mother of the bride was being able to be at Marbella most of the day with my daughter & the bridesmaids and getting to watch the event come to life with absolutely no concern or worry on my part. Everything was perfect thanks to Jennifer & Elizabeth, the excellent support staff at Marbella and the vendors.
It was absolutely clear to us that everyone's goal was for us to have the wedding our daughter & her husband envisioned and for us to relax & enjoy ourselves as much as our guests did. That is exactly what happened!!
Our whole experience with Marbella Country Club was exceptional and the wedding was magical!!

Marbella Country Club is a beautiful place to have a wedding. I relocated to the Bay area shortly after we got engaged and had to do all my wedding planning from the Bay area. We wanted an outdoor ceremony and reception and I looked all over the place. Some places were way over our budget and some were just too plain. Since we lived far, we couldn't visit all these venues every weekend, so we had to arrange one weekend to see all the venues. We knew we were in love with Marbella at our first visit. Their wedding package totally fit within our budget and we didn't have to pay any extra upgrade fee to get everything we wanted, which we would have at other venues.
The coordinators at Marbella was awesome and very helpful throughout our wedding planning. Leslye Hansen was the coordinator we worked the most during the latter half of our wedding planning. Leslye was very professional and friendly! She was always quick to respond back to all my emails and just awesome in everything she did. She made me felt at ease and calm, especially planning the wedding from afar. I would totally recommend her as a wedding coordinator.
Overall, our wedding at the Marbella Country was beautiful and romantic. It was exactly everything I had imagine it would be for an outdoor wedding. The staff were very professional with all of our guests and Leslye help make our wedding run smoothly. I would highly recommend Marbella Country Club to anyone who wants a beautiful outdoor wedding!

Absolutely wonderful wedding reception and ceremony!! I had THE perfect wedding day with no complaints. Leslye was so flexible and accommodating. The staff is so excited for you and makes you feel very special. My coordinator actually cried when she saw me in my wedding gown! Upon seeing the site for the first time I thought no way we could afford it on my tight budget; however, the price was shockingly low. It's a great value for the amount of detail and work they put into your day. And they include a lot into the pricing and have great flexibility. I LOVED this country club, its beautiful and so worth every penny. -

Marbella Country Club is absolutely gorgeous!! The ceremony site and reception (mine was outside) made for a beautiful wedding. I was able to get ready on site and actually spent ALL day there. Beyond that, the staff was amazing!!! They were extremely helpful, accomodating, and friendly! It was a perfect day thanks to them and their hard work. I highly recommend Marbella!! I worked with Leslye, but Tera was there in the morning of my wedding day and was a pleasure to work with (even though it was just a few hours). Thank you Leslye for making my day so perfect! -

On July 20th our daughter was married at Marbella. It was a beautiful affair from beginning to end. The location was breathtaking, the food and service were unbelievable. However the person who made all this possible was their wedding coordinator, Leslye Hansen. Her professionalism and attention to detail made the entire experience a pleasure. Her suggestions and knowledge were tremendously helpful to us and our daughter. I would certainly recommend both Marbella and Leslye. -

I had my wedding here at this beautiful country club and it was simply amazing! Leslye and Tera helped us every step of the way including food tasting, dinner rehearsal, lights, and decorations in making this wedding perfect. We didn't have an official wedding planner and planned most of the wedding details ourselves but Leslye was able to provide her wedding coordination insight in making our wedding impeccable. I would HIGHLY recommend the coordination services provided by Marbella so that your day is flawless.
I would like to comment on the professionalism by the entire team at Marbella which is second to none. The team was able to work with my schedule in meeting with me after business hours, respond to my countless emails promptly, and was gladly able to accept all my phone calls to answer my questions.

Our wedding planner, Kim, found this hidden gem! This venue is absolutely GORGEOUS!!
The coordinators there, Tera and Leslie are truly amazing. They are super responsive, VERY professional and take all the time in the world with you. We were able to customize their packages to fit our budget and they have a great relationship with our wedding planner.
We were able to view the venue whenever we liked to show our parents throughout the planning process.
They had my bridal suite ready for us with champagne, sandwiches, fruit, waters, iced tea and decorations to make me feel special.
They had a groomsman suite ready as well with buckets of beer, sandwich platters and snacks for the guys!
We got married on a Saturday and though the whole club is closed off for our special day, there were golfers allowed on the golf course. Not crowded at all though and didn't affect anything, nor did we really notice them.
Their prices are amazing as well for how beautiful this country club is. -

There are no words to describe how romantic and heavenly my wedding was. We just got married on September 16th, 2012 at this breath taking venue. Tera was my main contact through out the time. only God knows how much i bugged her with million of emails every day, and she replied to every single of them with such a cool and soothing manner. She made my life easier in one of the most stressful times of my wedding. I have no wedding planner beside myself. She accommodate us for our traditional Persian wedding. Leslye is another lady who i had the chance to work with as we got closer to my wedding date. she is another wonderful individual who made everything more beautiful than I expected. Persians in general have such high standards when it comes to wedding celebration and Marbella was able to meet every single of our expectations. The food was amazing. even better than tasting day. The appetizers were served non-stop and there was no one complaining about the quality or amount of it. The staff were super professional and friendly on the day with all of our guests. if i had the chance to have a second wedding, I would not change a bit of it. Back in December 2011 when my daughter got engaged and told me she wanted an outdoor wedding in July, I wondered what kind of event we could pull off in six months? Both she and I work full time and didn't feel we had the luxury of time-intensive do-it-yourself projects. We wanted a site close to home (South Orange County) and an outdoor setting for both the ceremony and the reception that would wow our 200 guests. For us, beautiful Marbella County Club offered everything we dreamed of and more. This country club is within an exclusive gated community, but the facilities can be rented to the public. The grounds and architecture are picturesque and meticulously manicured (think wedding photographer's dream). The clubhouse and terraces are beautiful and impressive. But beauty aside, what struck us the most was the professionalism of the staff, Tera Case and Leslye Hansen. These two women are so knowledgeable, experienced and available anytime we had a question. Leslye doubled as the catering coordinator and wedding coordinator. She earned our trust early on by taking such good care of us. She "held my hand" via email and in person during the entire planning process. What a gem! She's so organized! Leslye suggested many of my vendors--florist, videographer, lighting company, harpist--and they were all were terrific. It was almost too easy. In fact, there was a time that I stressed that I wasn't doing enough; I started to worry that I was missing stuff or that the wedding would be too plain and not have enough detail. Leslye gave me the best advice ever--she said "Marbella is beautiful enough. You don't need to add to it." And she was so right! Why gild the lily? She really kept me from unnecessary spending. We felt Marbella's gold wedding package was generous and inclusive. Complimentary valet parking, beautiful Chivari chairs and linen, wedding cake, delicious hand-passed hors d'oeuvres, amazing dinner menu, gourmet coffee bar, chocolate covered strawberry station, soft bar and dance floor--all included! In final review, we felt we got great value. In comparison, other sites were more expensive, more work and not as lovely. Our guests were completely wowed, the mother of the bride danced all night without a care in the world, but most importantly, the bride and groom were absolutely thrilled with their very special celebration. -

Marbella Country Club is a beautiful venue with a Tuscan feel in South Orange County, CA. I am a Wedding Planner/Coordinator and loved the relationships that were built during the planning process. Tera Case is a delight to work with! She does all the initial contact work and helps you chose which package suits your needs best. Customizing your package is not a problem. As soon as your contract is set, Leslye Hanson, Catering Coordinator steps in to execute all the final details. Leslye is extremely organized and efficient in all that she does, even with our many changes she never let her feathers get ruffled :) Very professional, friendly, quick to return phone calls and emails, it was a true joy to work with these ladies. A standout on the wait staff was Bryn-great to talk to while we both were setting the reception area up, friendly to guests and a hard worker. I was very satisfied with all the staff-Marbella has done an excellent job in hiring and training.
Many guests commented on how delicious the appetizers were-Artichoke bottom stuffed with brie & asparagus, Teri Beef Skewers & and my personal favorite Coconut Shrimp w/raspberry chipotle. Our duet dinner of roasted chicken w/cream sauce & beef medallians w/pinot noir demi glaze, garlic mashed potatoes & vegetable medley far exceeded the standard "wedding meal". The chicken was moist and tender and the beef was cooked to perfection. Great presentation, very nice balance of flavors. The guest seated at my table had multiple food allergies and was quite happy with her vegetarian meal.
We used two vendors from their Preferred Vendors List. Two Spoons Productions for videography and The Cupcake Store for the wedding cake.
Simone & Jono, owners of TSP did a splendid job of being everywhere at once and yet were very unobtrusive. I can't wait to see the finished product! And I would have to say that the wedding cake was the BEST I've ever eaten. Moist, flavorful, delicious! We are so glad that we (the MOB & I) attended their Bridal Show in March and were able to meet so many vendors and taste several of the bakery's cakes as well as enjoy Marbella's great food.
As mentioned in an earlier review, there is very limited cell phone coverage while on the grounds. They do have a landline available if you need to reach someone that isn't on the grounds. The other issue mentioned previously is that the B&G are not allowed to go out onto the golf course for photos except the area around the ceremony lawn. I'm hoping our photographer was able to catch some of the outdoor beauty even though there are many areas on the course that would have made for beautiful backdrops-especially both waterfalls. Carts also were not stopped during the wedding ceremony and three passed by-a slight distraction. It would be nice if they had a way to reroute during a ceremony. A few members also entered the secondary locker room/bridal suite during the Brides prep time even though there was a sign posted on the door that it was closed for a private event. Some rudeness was displayed, I'd like to hope that this doesn't happen on a regular basis.
Overall, I would highly recommend booking Marbella Country Club for your wedding. Beautiful quiet location, freeway close, delicious food, great staff, everything you want for your special day!

My daughter’s wedding was in July of this past year at Marbella Country Club. First I have to say that it was the most magical day ever. Everything was absolutely perfect!
We looked at several venues, but Marbella seemed to have everything that we were looking for at a pretty reasonable price. Marbella provides a very beautiful, elegant setting. One of the nice things about having the ceremony and reception at Marbella is that it is secluded and there were no distractions at all. Marbella only holds one wedding for the day/evening, so basically it is your place for the entire experience. The staff is fantastic. The event coordinator, Leslye Hansen, was absolutely amazing! She was a pleasure to work with. She made the entire experience so much easier for us. We were able to enjoy the entire process and never had any worries about anything. Leslye thought of everything and had some wonderful ideas (all of which we implemented), without adding much to our budget. The things she suggested made such a big difference in how things looked and flowed. We used all of our own vendors (photographer, DJ, florist) and Leslye did a fantastic job of coordinating with everyone so that everything went smooth.
We utilized three areas at Marbella … the lawn for the ceremony (beautiful green setting with waterfall in the background), the cocktail reception area and the terrace for the sit-down dinner. Everything went extremely smooth due to the extremely competent staff. At the cocktail reception, the bar was open, the staff passed signature cocktails and appetizers were plentiful. The food at the reception was delicious and the servers were pleasant.
We are so happy that we found Marbella and highly recommend it to everyone. We had so many people telling us that it was the most beautiful and fun wedding they had ever attended. Thank you Marbella and Leslye Hansen!!!

We picked Marbella back in December of 2010 as it was only venue in the area that could hold over 200 people. In the 11 months we had to plan, Leslye helped us nail down every detail so the reception wouldn't have any glitches.
They have great contacts for local vendors for various services to include cocktail hour music, ice sculptures, wedding cake...you name it!
They provided an absolutely wonderful menu...and we heard SO MANY complements from our guests that the food was terrific...even from some of our tough to please guests! They provided wonderful options for beef, chicken, fish, and even vegetarian options. With a reception that had over 200 people with guests and vendors, the buffet style worked out perfectly as plating that many people would have taken much longer.
In the week preceeding the wedding, the forecast was calling for rain and very cool temperatures for the area (in the upper 50s). We had originally planned to have all of our guests outside on the patio overlooking the beautiful golf course, but we quickly had to create an "indoor" plan that could accomodate all the guests. Leslye and Ray did an amazing job with the floor plan turning our event from an outdoor reception to an indoor event the days preceeding the reception. They had great subvendors who provided tenting and heaters for outside.
We had full access to the club...from the dressing rooms for guests to freshen up as well as a room downstairs that was used as an "activity" room for our young children guests (we had hired a babysitter). The activity room and babysitter was a great idea which allowed our adult/parent guests a few minutes to spend upstairs with the wedding party.
Valet parking was provided, and proved to be very useful for all the local guests.
All in all, my wife and I were absolutely pleased with all the work Marbella had done to make our reception go flawlessly. We would recommend them highly for anyone considering Marbella as a venue for the reception. -

First and foremost, I would like to thank both Tera and Leslye for their hard work to make everything perfect for our wedding day. I believe they are a valuable asset to this venue and made for a very smooth running and enjoyable event.
I would like to say that we had chosen to get married about 6 months after the proposal, which seems to be shorter than most. It was very frustrating to try and find a venue. We visited at least a dozen facilities, probably more, looking for everything that we wanted. We found it at Marbella Country Club.
My wife and I were very impressed the first time that we met Tera, as there was no pressure at any time. We both got the feeling that she just wanted to help us have the best day that we could. Many other facilities have you leaving feeling pressured or that if you don't spend a certain amount of money they don't have time for you. Tera went out of her way to custom tailor a package for us that included everything we wanted and left out the features that we didn't.
On the day of the wedding, everything went amazingly smooth. All of the tables and centerpieces were properly set up. The entire event was kept on schedule and my wife and I had a perfect day to remember.
Overall, I would highly recommend Tera and the Marbella Country Club for the beautiful venue and impeccable service.

Marbella was the first venue we looked at. We loved the venue, but were hoping for something a little closer to home (Pasadena). After visiting several other venues, we realized that Marbella is quite a gem and provides great value.
Tera is the new wedding coordinator and came on board at Marbella at the beginning of the year. She is extremely organized and responds to emails/phone calls very quickly. I'm pretty much an A-type personality, so the responsiveness of the coordinator was extremely important to me. Tera is on the ball and a sharp cookie!
Once you book with Marbella, the Catering Coordinator, Leslye, pretty much becomes your point of contact, although both ladies are in constant communication and if you can't reach one lady, the other can help and answer questions right away. Leslye is also very organized and quick to respond to questions. Working with these two ladies just made the whole experience a pleasure. We did our final walk-through meeting with Leslye and she was on top of all the tiny details and completely put me at ease.
The ceremony space outside is gorgeous. The only problem is that the 19th hole of the golf course is right behind the space. During our ceremony, a cart of 2 men and woman pulled up and they obviously did not see us, so they were joking around and being loud. After a minute or so, the woman felt all the daggers being thrown at her and looked over and saw us, then told the guys to shut up. I wish that Marbella would assign a staff member to the golf cart path during the ceremony to make sure that the golfers are respectful.
Marbella has two spaces available for the reception: the main dining room with doors that open out to seating on a large outdoor deck; and the second space is a large courtyard behind the ceremony space. We chose the courtyard space for our guest count of 60 people. It's a great space for a party of 40-80 people. We had our lighting company do bistro string lights with red paper lanterns and the space looked great!
The food was good, but not outstanding. For a banquet event though, it's pretty good. The packages are very fairly priced and I felt that we got a great value for our money. They were very flexible in making changes to the packages to adjust to our needs.
All in, we had an amazing wedding and we were extremely pleased with Marbella. They did a great job and all of our guests had a fantastic time. -

When we were looking for wedding and reception venues, we had the hardest time finding a place that was a perfect fit for us. We had so many different criteria - close to freeway access, but no view of roads - great views at the ceremony site and not a closed in reception location - friendly staff and newer decor. After touring many locations, we found Marbella Country Club. What a Gem! We felt so lucky that we had finally found the perfect fit for our wants and needs.
So...we began the planning process. When we told our family and friends about our location, everybody was so excited for us. We began developing a great connection with the staff - Sales and Coordination (I know that they have an entirely new staff from a previous review). The ladies were amazing...so kind, patient and knowledgable. They made everything so easy. It almost seemed to good to be true. I was waiting for the other shoe to drop and have something dramatic happen to put a damper on our Wedding Day.
The day before the wedding everything with me and my bridesmaids was chaotic, maincures, pedicures, picking people up from the airport - AH! It was a mad rush to get to the rehearsal. The moment we arrived at Marbella, Kari was there to greet us with a calming smile. We had to unload all of our "stuff" from the car and every manager in the office came out to help us - it was great to know that everybody was there for us. When the wedding party arrived, Kari guided us through our rehearsal. She was patient with all of our questions and rowdy groomsmen. She went through the rehearsal with us so many times, until we felt comfortable. My fiance (now husband) and I left that day with a sense of calm about our wedding day.
When we showed up on THE DAY - everything was set up, favors on the tables, special gifts for guests, the placecards - EVERYTHING was done and so beautiful. I was so happy and knew that there would be no dreaded drama. The day was perfect and everything I wanted it to be - I did a lot of work myself, but owe a lot to all of my vendors, especially the Coordination staff at Marbella. I can't say enough about them.
Not only was the comfortabibility with the staff great, but I am still getting compliments from friends and family all of these months after our wedding - commenting from food to service, views, location, dancing, DJ...everything. It makes me feel so happy to know that my wedding was one that was remembered by everybody. -

Gorgeous venue with best experience we could've had
Marbella Country Club caught our eye immediately during our wedding venue search - it is a Mediterranean-inspired property with beautiful architecture and gorgeous outdoor scenery. Pricing also looked very reasonable and we were excited to host our outdoor ceremony & reception on site, but unfortunately COVID-19 hit right after we booked the venue. Once staff returned from furlough, we received monthly updates from the parent company (Country Club Receptions) regarding postponement and cancellation policies. While we did have to wait until about September 2020 to get concrete updates that we could hold our ceremony only in November 2020, I did appreciate that they did their best to keep us up to date. We chose to proceed as we personally were comfortable with shrinking our guest count and forgoing our formal reception.
I had the pleasure of working closely with Kaile on our ceremony details. Kaile was extremely responsive and answered all my questions. We appreciated that they prioritized safety of us & our guests throughout the planning process. The week of our ceremony, we found out it was going to be rainy & extremely windy on our wedding day. Kaile was instrumental in helping us pivot our ceremony to an indoor space. While it wasn't ideal to be indoors under current circumstances, we were grateful we had that option especially since it was quite windy/chilly outside. Ultimately, our guests appreciated that they were warm and covered as well. The weather also did let up just enough in the afternoon that we snuck out for some photos.
The staff at Marbella was helpful day-of setting up our bridal lunch and ceremony space. Seating was socially distanced and guests were asked to wear masks. Although we had ceremony only, we were able to request some extra time on site so that we could do our first dance, parent dances and toasts with our guests present. We still received so many compliments from our guests about Marbella and they appreciated the property's beauty as much as we did. I wish we had more time to enjoy the venue for our wedding, but we were so happy that we were able to have our ceremony at all. I am confident that if we had to plan our reception, Kaile would have made the experience as easy and enjoyable as possible. If I had to do the process over again, I would still choose Marbella!Marbella Country Club's reply:

This is a very wide, open, beautiful area with a backdrop that won't need any jazzing up! The coordinators there truly care about your well-being and will communicate with you to make sure everything is right from day 1, all the way up until the big day. The country club is nestled away behind a gated community which makes you feel like you are entering a secret garden of some sort. The venue is SO big that it will wow your guests when they arrive. Can't wait to get married here -

We had 6 short months to plan my daughter's reception, and Leslye and Tera came through for us in a huge way. To begin, my daughter and I drove up to Marbella and the breathtaking views are the first thing you notice. We were greeted at the entrance by the receptionist and very shortly afterward we met with Tera. We then received a tour of the facilities and having researched the costs beforehand, we knew we had found the place. We continued to stay in communication with Leslye and Tera until the big day. The 1-2 weeks before were a bit hectic with working on the final floorplan and just fine tuning all the last minute details. The actual reception was perfect, with everything finally coming together. Appetizers - incredible, and dinner was delicious. So sum up our experience with Marbella: Surprisingly great value for all that you get in this beautiful setting. Wedding cake, chocolate fountain, coffee/beverage bar and cocktail hour are included in the package along with fantastic appetizers and meal. Please check out Marbella before you make the final decision of where to have your reception. -
