Fantastic Professional Makeup Artist!

Carmina creates beauty everywhere she goes! From the initial contact over the phone, to the trial session, to the day of my wedding, Carmina has been easy to contact, responsive, supportive and knowledgeable. Her studio in Camp Hill is cozy and comfortable and she graciously came onsite to do my makeup along with my mother and bridesmaids at our wedding venue. Carmina made me look and feel incredible on my wedding day!

Wonderful experience!

It was so wonderful to work with Carmina! She went above and beyond and made sure everyone had a look they loved. My mom and mother-in-law rarely wear makeup, and they were so impressed and raved about it for weeks after the wedding. I would highly recommend her!

We are incredibly lucky to have a make up artist as skilled as Carmina in central PA! She was a total professional and took my ideas for my wedding day and ran with them! Awesome Make Up Artist!

Carmina is amazing! I first met her in 2010 when she did the makeup for my daughter in law’s wedding. She made us look beautiful and feel so special. When my daughter was to be married last October, I called her immediately to save the date. As usual, she was incredible and helped to make the day even more special for all of us. Carmina is a master at her craft and I would recommend her to any bride who wants to look beautiful and feel special on her wedding day!

Amazing Experience!

I highly recommend Carmina Cristina and the amazing experience that she provided! Even though it has been a while since our wedding (almost 7 years), I would love to share my experience with the talented and professional Carmina Cristina. From the initial phone calls, to the trial session, and finally the wedding day, Carmina Cristina was such a joy to work with! She listened to what I was looking for and made suggestions along the way and was beyond professional and kind. While getting ready for the big day, I was extremely nervous as any bride would be, and I can remember Carmina Cristina calming my nerves as she applied my bridal makeup. She was very upbeat and fun and my bridesmaids and family enjoyed her company. My makeup was stunning and I never felt more beautiful in my life! I am so excited to see that she has her own boutique in Camp Hill! I wanted a different look for each of my bridesmaids as each of them had such unique personalities, and boy, did Carmina deliver! Everyone felt so beautiful, not just because of the makeup, which was flawless, but also because she brought a positive energy that is so hard to find. She was genuinely happy to be with us, arriving almost 20 minutes early to an already early start because she just wanted to make everything perfect.

To highlight some of the best parts: one of my bridal party members, a gentleman, had a bad acne outbreak and was feeling a little nervous about all the photos being taken. She worked him into the schedule, and gave him a barely noticeable airbrush. You could only tell it was there if you were 10 inches from his face and really LOOKING for it.

Also, Carmina didn't just give me a lip color for the day. She gave each girl a full tube of the lip color they were wearing for the day! It is some of the best I have ever worn. Most lip products tends to pill on the inner edges of my mouth creating a line of product that has to be scraped away. It deters me from wearing lip products other than balm. Hers didn't. Not only that, but all the products she used, which are mostly her own makeup line, are top notch, and left me without a single breakout. In fact, no one who had makeup done spoke of issues afterwards which is pretty amazing considering 9 people were done.

If you can book her, do it.

Carmina’s work is excellent and she is such a delight! During our initial conversation, Carmina took the time to answer all of my questions. We had a make up trial for my engagement photo shoot one year prior to my wedding. I was very happy with the results. She kept detailed notes for the big day. I had something come up just prior to the wedding and decided I wanted an extra trial; she made sure to accommodate me in her schedule. On the day of, Carmina and her assistant (that I requested) arrived on time and completed their excellent work in a timely manner which was no small task considering there were nine adults and two children. The moms, bridesmaids, flower girls and myself all were very happy with the end result! Carmina is friendly, knowledgeable, easy going, and fun to work with...I highly recommend her! Thank you, Carmina!

Carmina is just amazing. She is the sweetest and most talented makeup artist I know. I had never had my makeup professionally done and I thought she did such an amazing job, I felt so beautiful. It was pretty hot and humid/rainy on my wedding day...so between the moisture and the sweat...my makeup lasted all through the night! I was thrilled with my bridal makeup experience with Carmina. I had been a little worried about the whole process having never really liked the way I looked after being professionally made up. Because of that, I did a lot of research before choosing Carmina and was sold by seeing her do a bride's makeup in one of her videos. Carmina responded quickly when I reached out to schedule the appointment, and we had a great conversation on the phone.

The trial turned out to be a lot of fun. Carmina has a very pleasant shop in Camp Hill, where I had never been before. When I was late for the appointment, Carmina was not only understanding but took additional time to help me relax since she could tell I was stressed. We talked awhile about what I had in mind, and because I was uncertain about what colors I preferred, she did two different options for the eyes to let me decide. I was very happy with the makeup but also really enjoyed the whole experience, including chatting with Carmina and checking out the other shops she recommended in the area after we were finished.

I should also mention that I have sensitive skin, and it had been pretty irritated leading up to the trial. I was worried that having my makeup done would further irritate it. Not the case. All of Carmina's products felt great on my skin, and she recommended a treatment that I used leading up to the wedding that really nursed my unhappy skin back to health.

Carmina was ahead of schedule on the wedding day and got everything set up in my hotel room. She did makeup for me, my mom, and my MOH. Everything went very smoothly, and we were all really happy. What we wanted was to look like an amped up version of our normal selves, and she was able to deliver on that.

You hope to look your best on your wedding day, and Carmina definitely got me there. It was worth every penny, without a doubt.

Carmina did a great job with me and my bridemaid's makeup. I am still waiting on the rest of my wedding pictures but I am very pleased with what I have seen so far. I will admit that I was not sure whether to get a makeup artist for my wedding and was worried it would end up being a waste of money but I have no regrets with my decision and I am very glad that I went with Carmina. Having someone else do my makeup was one less stress on me and as I said, she did a wonderful job. She was very easy to talk to and explained what she was doing and why and gave suggestions. I highly recommend her makeup services.

It was an absolute pleasure to have Carmina do my wedding makeup. I've had my makeup professionally done by other makeup artists in Central PA, but no one holds a candle to Carmina. She is extremely skillful at creating your perfect look that lasts all day and night! Everyone from my bridesmaids to my mother-in-law looked stunning with Carmina's touch. Her talent is worth every dollar!

Carmina is a true professional-- friendly, knowledgeable and never pushy. She helps you find the perfect shades and colors for you so there is no guessing to whether or not you look good or over-the-top. If you have a problem area of your face, she works with you to find a solution that makes you feel truly beautiful. She pays special attention to everyone's unique features and uses techniques that work for you--it's never a one-size-fits-all approach.

The makeup trial is very helpful to pick the look that you want, and Carmina can recommend products and colors that look best on you. Before the wedding, she made sure our timeline was realistic so there was no rushing on the big day.

ABOVE AND BEYOND: On my wedding day, we planned to get ready at our hotel. When Carmina arrived (extra early to make sure she had time to set up), the hotel said the room was not ready for us. We were not yet there and Carmina went above and beyond to make sure the hotel gave us the room we needed in a timely manner. She saved the day!

Carmina is absolutely AMAZING! She treated me like an dear friend from the day I met her in person. Your wedding day is such a special one & I wanted to look my absolute best of course on mine, and I knew Carmina would deliver. I had my initial consultation and she did a beautiful job, but then I decided I wanted a bit of a more dramatic look for my big day and I was stressing a bit over changing my look from what we had done in my initial trial, but Carmina welcomed me back for a second trial and put my mind to ease! She really takes into consideration your thoughts, ideas and the type of wedding look you're going for, without just assuming a particular look for you. On my wedding day, she arrived with plenty of time to do myself, my girls & my mom. She gave us her whole day and did not overbook herself as I've heard some makeup artists do at times. She made everyone feel so at ease and relaxed! Even my mom, who really does not like others doing her makeup, felt at ease and Carmina really treated her so kindly. I loved having the piece of mind on my wedding day that my makeup was one less thing I would need to worry about or stress over and that I had the absolute BEST to do the job! I was able to sit, sip a mimosa, and just RELAX and enjoy my girl time with my bridesmaids and mom while she worked her magic! I highly, highly recommend Carmina! Carmina is an amazing and extremely talented make-up artist. She really has a passion for her career and it shows. During our trial, she asked me lots of questions and really took the time to get to know me. Together, she helped me to figure out exactly what I needed for my wedding day. I'm not used to wearing make-up and I was nervous about wearing a lot of makeup, but she really put me at ease and made me feel comfortable. I was surprised how light, comfortable, and natural feeling and looking it was! She truly made me feel special. My makeup was absolutely flawless - a better version of my natural self, just what I wanted on my wedding day! I got so many compliments on my make-up. :)
She also did the make-up for my bridesmaids, mother and my mother-in-law. They all turned out perfectly, and they also enjoyed being pampered as we got ready for the wedding. Carmina is knowledgeable and experienced with all ages, skin tones, and styles. She is professional, relaxed, a genuine sweetheart, always early, & very well prepared for her appointments.
She is definitely worth the investment. My make-up lasted well through the night (even through all the happy tears and hours of dancing!) and looked flawless for all of the pictures. Please look no further if you need a make-up artist for your big day!!

The final look for my wedding day was GORGEOUS! The best part of it all was that it didn't look or feel like I was wearing too much makeup. Oh and the fact that it was "tear proof" was key! Carmina was very easy to work with and willing to make any changes I requested after seeing my trial makeup. It is well worth the money to feel pretty and pampered on your wedding day!

My experience with Carmina was fantastic! She is truly an artist and a professional! She made me feel at ease from the very beginning and really helped me figure out the look I wanted for my wedding day. My makeup and my bridal party's makeup was stunning and flawless--and I learned so much from her about makeup along the way! I love her products--they are both luxurious and great for everyday. I can't say enough wonderful things about Carmina! I had a New Year's Eve wedding and wanted a glamourous look to match and she gave me the most wonderfully dramatic, sparkly makeup - exactly what I asked for - and it lasted the entire night! By midnight I was sweaty from dancing, but you couldn't tell bc the makeup was still in tact!

She also did all my bridesmaids' makeup. Some of them didn't want as dramatic a look as I did and she was very attentive to that, giving them subtle sparkles that they were still comfortable with. It was so much fun seeing the glitter on their eyes catch the light all night. They all looked gorgeous!

She was also a dream to work with, showed up on time and stuck to our schedule, but still had fun. It was great having her around while we were all getting ready. I've already been recommending her and will continue to do so. She's the best!

Carmina was one of my most favorite and special vendors I worked with on the day of my wedding. My makeup was gorgeous; I felt like a Victoria’s Secret model in my wedding dress. She listened to my thoughts and wedding makeup aspirations and produced an amazing look on my wedding day. It was so nice to meet with her prior to the day of my wedding for a trial makeup session. She made my mother, grandmother, and I feel so welcome in her studio during the makeup session. The day of the wedding, Carmina came to our wedding venue early and well prepared. She did an amazing job with my mother and mother-in-law’s makeup. She was literally my rock during my makeup placement as I lost my composure due to running behind schedule (my hair appointment went later than anticipated). Carmina took her time and made sure that my makeup was perfect. She truly is a wonderful person and went above and beyond to create my wedding look and also made me feel so much better right before the big moment of seeing my groom. Included in the package that I chose was a trial make-up session and we figured out what I liked and didn't like and Carmina gave wonderful insight and suggestions while taking all of my concerns and ideas into account. Before my wedding I had never trusted anyone to do my makeup, but I knew I wanted something professional and special for my big day. Working with Carmina was a dream. She paid special attention to my style and requests and used this to custom design a look I absolutely loved. You will absolutely know that Carmina is a professional by her expertise in makeup, the type of products she uses (including products from her OWN makeup line) and how she conducts business. I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day, thanks to Carmina!! Not only is Carmina an exceptional make-up artist, she is also so sweet and so wonderful to work with. After having my makeup done, my husband and I did a "first look" before our ceremony. There was a lot of kissing for pictures ;) Carmina was still on site, cleaning up her makeup, and dropped everything to touch me up before walking down the aisle. She really goes above and beyond for her clients and makes you feel like a movie star :) My makeup looked flawless until the end of the night (on a hot day in June). She's the best... want to look and feel like a princess? Call her!!!!!

Carmina is incredibly talented, professional, warm, and understanding. She was actually booked for our wedding day, so I asked her to do my makeup for the engagement photos. Somehow we worked out a way for her to do my makeup on the day of the wedding, and I could not have been happier!!! I did my trial the day before the wedding and had SO MANY compliments on my makeup. On the day of the wedding- my mother and I had our makeup done at 7am and it lasted ALL DAY for literally 20 hours of tears, dancing, and costume changes. It's sort of amazing that she even does wedding makeup because she is more like a celebrity makeup artist....so if you want to look your ABSOLUTE best on your wedding day- call her early!

I was invited to a wedding as a guest. After the makeup was completed and I was handed a mirror, I felt simply beautiful. It was amazing! I never would have imagined I would look as lovely as I did. Prior to arriving at the wedding place, I went to a restaurant. The young waitress questioned where I was going, having looked so "snazzy." She was shocked to learn that I was a grandmother of 5 kids.

The best? When my boyfriend saw me arrive at the wedding place. Priceless compliments.

Every bride wants to look their best on their wedding day and Carmina-Cristina made that happen for me. Having a trial run that lasted two hours allowed her to get to know me as a person and a bride. This helped her transform me into exactly the bride I wanted to be on my wedding day. Her passion for what she does really comes through with each and every face she touches. She was extremely accessible to answer all of my questions and her genuine nature made her a dream to work with. As I look back at pictures from my wedding day I'm so glad I chose her!

Carmina was wonderful to work with and was always patient, upbeat and accommodating - a great energy to be around when planning a wedding. Carmina did the make up for my bridal party, mother, and me. All I can say is wow!!! She arrived promptly and was well-organized. She discussed the look with each woman to make sure everyone loved their look. Everybody looked absolutely gorgeous, and their makeup lasted all night long!!! Carmina was amazing! Me and my ladies looked like we were ready for a photo shoot and our faces didn't feel like we were wearing masks. She did such a wonderful job and even explained every step she was taking as she did our make-up. She was flexible in both time (5 AM start) and location (she drove to the salon where our hair was getting done). I believe that she is absolutely worth every penny, which I know cane be tight these days.

I just wanted to personally thank you again for making me so beautiful on my wedding day. Everyone has commented on how beautiful I looked and how gorgeous my make-up was and that was all because of you!! Matt n Nat took some amazing pictures and so glad you got to see them...and yes I love the coral lipstick...who would of thought I would like coral :) I wore it on my honeymoon every night for dinner, you would have been proud. Carmina-Cristina is the ABSOLUTE BEST! If you are a bride in Central PA, it would be regretful not to even talk with Carmina before your big day. Since I was on a strict budget I wasn't sure I had room for professional makeup, but little is more important than creating a look you'll love forever for your own wedding day. With both torrential downpours and many tears, my makeup never budged for over 12 hours! Carmina was the perfect makeup artist for my wedding! I did not have a bridal party but I had Carmina work on my mom, aunt, 2 sisters, and best friend as well as me of course. Everyone was so pleased with their makeup, and no two people had the same exact look, which was nice. Everyone got to explain their own individual style and Carmina taylored the makeup to what everyone wanted while at the same time making sure that the makeup colors would look good with the dress colors of each girl. I can't thank her enough for how flawless my skin looked all day long into the night! My makeup was applied around 1pm and the party lasted until 12:30am and not one time did I need to touch up! Of course it wasn't as perfect as it was when it was applied, but I was so surprised when I looked in the mirror an hour after the party was over and my makeup still looked pretty fresh. It was an amazing day and Carmina was definitely part of the reason for that. No body had met her before the day of the wedding and all the ladies at the house kept telling me how nice and helpful she was. She even covered a scar on my back before I walked out the door so thankfully there is no scar in my pictures! Thank you so much Carmina! I Highly recommend Carmina to any bride that wants to look amazing on her wedding day!

If you "splurge" on one aspect of your wedding, this is it! ( You can still look beautiful in a hideous dress-- you cannot look good in a hideous makeover!) I have had 3 professional makeovers and have hated every one of them. I went to Carmina for my bridal trial hopeful, but assumed that my skin just did not take makeup well. Boy was I wrong! I absolutely loved everything about Carmina's work -- and my fiance - who originally urged me to do my own makeup (because my other pro makeovers were so bad), couldn't stop raving about how my makeover looked. Carmina has been 100% professional, thorough, and attentive to every detail! I was so ecstatic with the wedding day result!

Carmina is not only a sweetheart, she is EXTREMELY talented. If you are looking for a makeup artist who will make you feel comfortable and special while making you look spectacular, Carmina is your girl. Her personality is very sweet and warm; she puts you at ease and really spends time talking to you about the look you want to achieve. She is also a true artist. I wanted an old hollywood glamour look for my wedding. Not only did I get exactly the "screen siren" look I asked her for, but she tweaked the colors and details just enough that it really matched my personal taste and was not just a beautiful replica of something I'd seen somewhere. Carmina also did the makeup for my bridesmaids and mother. Everyone loved her personality and her work. Each woman done by Carmina looked flawless in our photos. If you are wondering whether you should hire a professional make up artist (MUA) for your wedding day, there are two words for you: DO IT. Carmina is such a wonderful person to work with and on top of providing great makeup, she will make you laugh and feel relaxed on one of the most exciting/nerve-wracking days of your life. She came to me highly recommended by a close friend and everything said about her was true! She is incredibly professional, kind, and funny. I even found that I used some of her makeup application tricks when applying my husband's werewolf makeup at Halloween (if you have your eye makeup done by Carmina, you will know the "Look up, up up!" that I'm referring to; it really works!) Overall, this may be something you think about skipping when all the costs of the wedding start adding up but I strongly caution against it. Even though some salons are talented at makeup, nothing comes close to a professional who does only makeup application for her living. Cannot say enough great things about Carmina!

While browsing my many wedding websites and videos of brides on their big day, I ran across a video of Carmina for a local PA bride. At first, it didn't occur to me that I would need my makeup done by a professional and thought the salon would do a great job. I feel in love with Carmina's work- she is beyond talented.
Carmina is nothing but amazing to work with. She is very skilled at what she does and knows how to make anyone look beautiful.
We started off with a trial which is the best thing to do for any bride because you want to make sure you look gorgeous on your wedding day and don't want any surprises. Carmina walks you through the entire process of what she is doing and works with you to make sure you find a makeup palette that suits you and your level of how much makeup you like. The best thing she does for a bride is the airbrush foundation-it makes your skin look flawless.
I was thrilled with my makeup on the day of my wedding-not only did I look beautiful but I still looked like myself. My makeup stayed perfect throughout the night- even with a few small episodes of crying. My makeup-eyeliner and mascara- did not run.
If you want the best-Carmina is the girl. She is well worth the money and will make you look nothing less than beautiful on your wedding day.

I have never been told I was stunning or beautiful. After Carmina did my make up on my wedding day, I heard it all day long. Carmina did a wonderful job on my makeup. Starting with our first conversation, I knew that she was the makeup artist for me based on her experience and the focus she had on creating the perfect look for my day. At the trial, we not only worked on the "look", but also on my skin regimen. For the following months I followed Carmina's advice using gentle products made from natural ingredients and on my wedding day- it was worth it! My dry skin was gone and my skin looked healthy.
The day of my wedding was a bit hectic, but Carmina arrived on time and ready to go. She did a beautiful job on my makeup and throughout the process helped me to stay calm and relax.
I received many compliments and am so happy I chose Carmina to work with on my special day.

I would recommend Carmina to any bride! She is extremely talented, professional, and punctual. I got countless compliments on my wedding makeup, and my photos are flawless! My makeup lasted the entire evening, and through the after party. She did a fabulous job, and my makeup was everything I hoped it would be and MORE! It was worth every penny to have my makeup done because my beautiful, flawless, photos are the only tangible thing I have left from my wedding. Despite all the money that goes into a wedding, you will not regret splurging a bit to be the most beautiful bride you can be!

CARMINA-CRISTINA is one of a kind! If you are looking for professional make-up application done by a true phenom in the field, this is your girl! Carmina is unique because she offers what salons simply can't; she uses top of the line, professional grade make-up and applications that are out of the realm of a typical salon in the greater Harrisburg area. For me, that meant an air-brush foundation application that felt like nothing but looked like a million bucks. I've seen the initial photos of our big day, and my make-up photographed and wore through the day/night like nothing I have experienced. My complexion is far from perfect and I don't see myself as beautiful, but Carmina worked with me to create a look I was comfortable with AND looked classic yet 2010. I loved the way I appeared on my wedding day, and that is coming from someone who can have a huge lack of confidence about her looks! C-C took everything into consideration from my gown to my tastes and wow-ed me at the intial trial then drove to meet me at a local B&B the day of the wedding... impressing everyone with her talent. My sister got her make-up done by Carmina as well, with a totally different look but showing her personality through their collaboration of lipstick and eye choices. I can't thank Carmina enough for giving me a boost of confidence on my wedding day, helping me to glow a bridal glow and feel good about myself- and looking good in photos too :)

While planning my wedding, I sought out the very best, most professional people I could find. Carmina didn't disappoint and exceeded every expectation I could have had. She made our day so special and did the makeup for myself, the bridesmaids, and the women on my husband's side. She is an absolutely brilliant artist. My makeup was flawless and showed very well in photographs and in real life. Sometimes makeup is applied more heavily for photographs and can look a little heavy in person, but Carmina has a way of enhancing your natural beauty but still making it show well on camera. One thing I especially loved was her creativity; she knew exactly what would look best on everyone. My mother-in-law is very receptive to trying new things, and Carmina used a fuchsia lipstick that looked absolutely fabulous. I still cannot to this day get over how beautiful everyone looked. Carmina is world-class, experienced, knowledgeable, creative, and a genuinely sweet and kind person. If you want the perfect makeup for your wedding day, you must, must, must book her!!!

I couldn't be happier! Carmina is AMAZING!! I found myself the week before my wedding without a makeup artist and Carmina totally saved the day! She is absolutely incredible at what she does! I felt beautiful on my day and received so many compliments! She did my sister's makeup as well and she looked absolutely stunning! Carmina is so sweet and really makes you feel comfortable throughout the whole process. I definitely lucked out having her available on such short notice! She is well worth the money and I would definitely use her services again (but not wait so long to book her) :)

Carmina was great! She was very proffesional and I was really impressed how clean and organized her work area was, being a cosmetologist I know how important that is. She used all the products we discused during my trial makeup. I really appreciated how flexible she was, and her being able to come to my home was a wieght off my shoulders, and when she was done I was amazed, she did a stellar job! Thank you so much carmina!

Carmina was absolutely amazing. I interviewed multiple make-up artists in the area and she was the only one who was TRULY interested in making my look both special and unique. She went out of her way to meet with me at my venue to look at the lighting, discuss make-up options, and describe the best looks in the multiple settings on my wedding day. She even changed my make-up for a more dramatic look at the reception. I would recommend her to everyone! She is a wonderful person and and skilled make-up artist.

Carmina did a fabulous job with our make-up. I wear no make-up generally, but was very comfortable with how Carmina made me look on my daughter's wedding day. The bride and everyone looked beautiful. I highly recommend Carmina.

Carmina Cristina provided great makeup services for my wedding. I got a trial makeup session and a makeup session on my wedding day. My wedding pictures turned out great! She really understood exactly the look I wanted and I was very very pleased with the service. I would strongly recommend her services to future brides or anyone looking to get their makeup done professionally.

My makeup was absolutely perfect and exactly the way I wanted it for my wedding. I had a trial run before hand to make sure that I was able to convey what type of style I was looking for. I was so happy with the way it turned out and it definitely showed through in my wedding photos. Carmina Cristina applied my makeup for my wedding day and I loved it! She made me look absolutely flawless and beautiful without me feeling like I was too overdone. Carmina is amazing! I booked her over a year ago for my wedding and i think it is one of the smartest decisions i made. She is a charming woman with a lot of talent, she is all about making you look and feel your best on your day. She did make-up for myself, my bridal party and the mothers. I have never recieved so many wonderful comments on my appearance than i did that day, all the girls said my make-up looked gorgeous and all the guys thought i looked like a knock out, even my other wedding vendors were highly impressed. My make-up lasted throughout the whole day and evening and looked amazing in photos. My whole bridal party felt great in their make-up (each got a different look customized to what they wanted to look like) and the mother's were just glowing. Carmina does a make-up trial with her brides and gets to know them, their personalities and how they would like to look on their big day which really gives her the insight on creating the perfect look just for you. She also is great on suggesting great colors and beauty treatments for your individual needs. She is also extremely flexible with changing times, last minute changes in make-up and was in a great mood the whole morning doing everyone's make-up. She is so bright and bubbly, and so kind with answering all kinds if questions (i sent her tons of e-mails during the wedding process) and she was a pleasure to share the morning of my wedding with. She is a true professional and i recommend if you want to look your best, book Carmina!

Carmina is a phenomenal makeup artist! I had seen her advertisements throughout my wedding planning process, however initially decided to go a different route to save money. My "different route" wound up not working out and I am SO happy that Carmina was available at such short notice. I sent Carmina pictures of what I had in mind, and gave her some colors that look well on me. She came prepared with her makeup arsenal and had no problem picking out complimentary colors. I was speechless at how the makeup looked when she was finished, I have never had makeup done so beautifully (and yes, I have had makeup applied professionally at least a half dozen times before). I would recommend Carmina in a heartbeat! I even wish I had another function I needed makeup applied for just so I could work with her again :)

I had a really great experience working with Carmina and was very thrilled with the final product. The pictures came out great and I thought that the make-up lasted through the night! I am definitely not a make-up person and that's why I hired Carmina. She was always a professional and really did provide a look that was a representation of my personality and reflected how I wanted to look on my wedding day. The main reason I wanted a professional make-up artist was because I wanted someone who understands how to create a natural look that will translate in photography and someone who could also provide great coverage that would last without having to reapply throughout the night. My expectations were completely met. She always seemed to care about my opinion and was constantly involving me in the decision process which was great. I would definitely recommend Carmina!

Carmina . . . talented, professional, and a perfectionist. She is an artist true and true. She knows how to take a blank canvas and bring out your best features. I can't say that she is the best price in town, but I can say that the results are worth it. I would definitely recommend a makeup trial. Again, it's worth it and helps iron out all the kinks. I would also recommend airbrush because it feels so nice and really makes you feel beautiful. She's also incredibly sweet and understanding. She did my mother and sister's makeup and wow...they were stunners! You will not regret booking her for your wedding!

At first, I was alittle apprehensive about getting my makeup done due to the fact that I did not want to look like a different person or worse yet, a clown on my wedding day! However, after my consultation with Carmina, my mind was put at ease due to the fact that she did my makeup in a way that made my face look flawless, but natural at the same time. When my wedding day arrived, I did not even have to think about my makeup for one second. Carmina arrived promptly and started to work her magic! She was able to make my eyes "pop" and chose a lip color that was just dark enough to stand out in my photos, yet light enough that I felt confident wearing it. My wedding day was picture perfect and a huge part of that was due to Carmina's expertise!
Not only is Carmina an expert in makeup application, she is truly a pleasure to work with!

Carmina was excellent from start to finish, from working with me flexibly to fit my wedding in on an already busy day to delivering a beautiful makeup application that was even better than the trial run. Carmina listened to what I wanted but also provided guidance when the sample photos I liked didn't match what I said I would be comfortable with for my wedding day. She ultimately pushed me a little outside my comfort zone while still keeping my makeup soft and natural. I couldn't be happier! The package seemed a little expensive, but totally worth it in the end not to have to worry about how I would look in photos or my makeup wearing off halfway through the reception.

I booked Carmina-Cristina for my wedding. I love the make up done for me and my bridesmaid. It was very beautiful and natural. And the make up trial was definitely a good idea. It helps finalize the look that you want beforehand. I only wished that I was able to have her to touch up my make up for the night but she had another appointment then. I'd definitely reccommend her for any brides to be out there! I had a great experience with Carmina! Thanks!

I can't believe how beautiful I felt on my wedding day and a LOT of that had to do with Carmina's work! I was actually heartbroken to wipe the makeup off at the end of the day :(. Highly recommend!
