Jackie was amazing! She made Alan and I feel very confident in the execution of our wedding. She even added extra decor to make it look even better! Her ideas showcased her experience in the business. I highly recommend this venue! -

Unforgettable Wedding Day!
There are not enough words to describe how happy and impressed we are with the quality of service we received for our November wedding at the Harvest House at Lost Creek Winery. This venue was the only event space we visited because they had everything we could ever want or need for our perfect wedding day! This all-inclusive event venue featured multiple ceremony spaces, both indoor and outdoor, but we opted for the gorgeous vineyard location, which was golden yellow that time of year. The venue provided all of the chairs, multiple wine barrels for decorations, and all tables, linens, plates, cups, and silverware for the entire event. They did all of the catering and bartending on site and we’re very accommodating with the other vendors we chose to complete our day. Their staff are incredibly professional and happy to provide top quality service. We didn’t lift a finger our entire wedding day! Shaina, our day of event coordinator, who is also a welcomed perk at this venue, was amazing. She juggled all of the pieces of our rehearsal and wedding day with ease and made sure that all of our guests could enjoy themselves. I can’t say enough good things about our wedding at the Harvest House. Many of our guests have also complimented just how wonderful the day was as well, saying it was the best wedding they had ever attended. I’m biased, but I couldn’t agree more. Thank you for making our special day so amazing! -

Everything went so perfect, the staff is so unbelievably kind, the food is so great. I had people asking me all night “how did you find this place”. If you choose Lost Creek, you’re guaranteed to have a smooth and perfect wedding. -

Absolutely amazing
Jordan, the Lost Creek event coordinator, was fantastic to work with. She made the planning process easy and was super attentive, organized, and eager to help. Our guests were very impressed with the venue as it is beautiful and accessible—and the food was amazing. The Lost Creek catering staff was also wonderful throughout our wedding. I highly recommend this venue! -

Beautiful venue, great value, AMAZING food!
Harvest House was actually the second venue we booked with--our first venue ended up not fitting our needs the way we wanted it to, and Harvest House saved the day! The venue and grounds are beautiful and well-equipped. Our wedding was in January, and we loved being able to have cocktail hour in the Harvest House while the Carriage House was converted from the ceremony to reception. Dani and Lacey were wonderful to work with, and helped our day run flawlessly! Additionally, food provided by their in-house catering team was PHENOMENAL. They worked with us to customize a menu that fit our vision, and the tasting blew us away. I was a little nervous the quality of the food might not be as high when cooked for a crowd, but it was just as good if not better than we remembered on the big day! Our guests cannot not stop raving about it. and we've heard from several guests that it was the best wedding food they ever had! -

Amazing day of coordinators, beautiful venue with several distinct locations to choose from for a ceremony site. Cocktail hour had heat lamps and reception had firepits setup for guests -

Perfect venue, perfect staff, perfect day
My wife and I had our Elegant Halloween/Autumnal wedding at Lost Creek, and we could not have been happier. We had to move our site on-grounds, from the vineyard to the front of the Harvest House, at the 11th hour due to torrential rainfall the day before, and everything went off as though we had planned it that way the whole time. We had brought out decorations the day before and we’re in panic mode about set up, but Lacey Armbruster and her team had everything beautifully set up and arranged when we arrived on Saturday, even arranging our Halloween decorations in a way better than we’d envisioned. Food was spectacular, wine was delicious, and the staff were there for us every step of the way. Lost Creek made us possible for us to concentrate on our joy. -

Harvest House
I can’t say enough how amazing our experience was with the Harvest House. Between the owners, day of coordinator and the caterers everything was perfect. Nearly everything went without a single hitch. I’m so grateful and blessed to have had one heck of a team to make our day so perfect. I would choose this venue and team over and over again. -

Amazing Venue!!
Our venue was amazing. The Harvest House at Lost Creek Winery gave us the privacy and intimacy we were seeking with the feel of still being at a winery. It was elegant and chic yet traditional and rustic at the same time. It was the perfect venue to work with our vision of a late fall wedding. The house was so cozy during cocktail hour, we were able to make our way around and say hi to everyone. We also got to have a moment to ourselves right after ceremony in the bridal suite upstairs which was one of the most memorable moments of the day. Stephanie was the absolute best coordinator. She worked so hard that day to make everything perfectly the way we had been discussing and she nailed it! I loved knowing I had her there to keep things moving along seamlessly, I couldn’t have asked for a better venue, day, coordinator, or catering team. They went above and beyond to make us feel special and it shows in all of our pictures. We highly recommend The Harvest House at Lost Creek Winery to anyone in the NOVA area that doesn’t want “just another venue” the set up for this location is so versatile and you can really make it your own. Thank you for everything!-

Wedding 10/26/19
My husband(!) and I recently held our wedding at the Harvest House at Lost Creek Winery and it was everything we could have ever imagined and more. The setting is beautiful with the venue being secluded with multiple locations to hold the ceremony, with an indoor rain option if needed. The carriage house was the perfect space for our reception of 104 guests with plenty of room to dance and have our photo booth indoors. It also looks updated with nice wood floors. The house has a bridal suite and separate grooms suite to get ready in if wanted. To top it all off when you book this venue they provide a day of coordinator, Stephanie Bosdosh, who was absolutely amazing. We talked multiple times months before the wedding about my vision and Stephanie was always willing to help research and look for items that I needed for decorations. She was always available through email, phone and text and would respond promptly to any questions I had. I dropped off all of my decorations during our rehearsal and let her know where I wanted everything. Stephanie took the burden off my bridal party and myself and made sure that everything was set up perfectly and in the correct place so we could just relax and enjoy every moment of our special day. She was always around at the right time and coordinated with our vendors seamlessly. Stephanie was very professional and went above and beyond and I would recommend her services to any one looking for a day of coordinator! All in all, we loved our entire experience with the harvest house at lost creek and would recommend the venue to everyone looking as well! -

Perfect Wedding Vision Come True!
Harvest House and its team was amazing and helped our wedding vision come to life! We looked at three venues one day in January, and after taking a look at Harvest House (the second venue we looked at), we were sold and the other venues could not come near it. Physically, the venue is perfect, beautiful, and vast. The photos (by 1001 Angles) came out beautifully at the venue. There is a rainy day option, but we got married by the vines and had the cocktail by the patio. The bridal suite is comfy and nice to get ready in (big windows for getting hair and makeup done). The Carriage House is wonderful to have the reception in. We had around 104 guests, and there was more than enough room for a large dance floor, buffet, bar, dessert table, and a photobooth.
The contracting and administrative process was smooth and professional; Aimee and Todd, owners of Lost Creek Winery, were always prompt with responding to my numerous questions and emails. Aimee also personally stopped by during our 30-day planning meeting and wine tasting to make sure that everything was going as planned. (BTW, Lost Creek offers many of its own wines for the alcohol offerings. The blends are wonderful, and were a hit with the guests)
A month out from the wedding, we were introduced to Stephanie Bosdosh, our day-of-coordinator. Stephanie is simply delightful and amazing. She made us feel comfortable and took our wedding anxieties away by reassuring us that she will be taking care of all of the details of the day. And that she did! I had a lot of DIY decorations and florals for the wedding, and after hearing a very brief description of the decorations and my vision, Stephanie ran with it and brought it all to life and more!
Stephanie has an extensive background in event planning, and it shows. The rehearsal and the wedding day ran so smoothly that I had absolutely no anxiety or worries. Stephanie made sure all the bridal party catering was replenished throughout the day, helped put up all the decorations, coordinated with the other vendors, and was the conductor for the entire day of various events and pieces. The guests kept commenting about how the wedding was on point with the schedule and planned so well. Stephanie truly was the key to that.
We have absolutely no regrets about choosing Harvest House for our big day, and would strongly recommend all couples to consider it for their venue! -

Wedding 9.14.19
Our wedding at the Harvest House at Lost Creek Winery was perfect! The venues is just gorgeous and perfect for an intimate wedding - at first with 136 guests we thought that it would be overcrowded but the carriage house where the receptions are held that number well with a ton of room for a dance floor. We chose to get married in the back lawn and the flow from the ceremony to the cocktail hour and reception was flawless. I can't recommend our venue coordinator Stephanie Bosdosh enough, she was always so encouraging and helped make sure our day went without a hitch. Also, biggest plus was that she's super responsive via email and/or text - like c'mon it doesn't get any better than that. We had a great day, so happy we picked the Harvest House! -

Excellent Service and Care
After looking at several wedding venues in the Washington DC/Baltimore area, we finally settled on the Harvest House at Lost Creek Winery and couldn't be more happy with our decision. On the day of our wedding, the staff took care of our every need. It is clear the venue runs a highly professional operation. A real plus to this location is the built-in venue coordinator who helps run the wedding rehearsal and set up of all decorations and tables, etc. Anne, our coordinator even drove us up with our photographer to the best winery locations so we could take a few photos at sunset. The coordination and care that went into making our day special, beautiful, and stress-free was greatly appreciated by all. We highly recommend this venue! -

The team at Lost Creek was amazing! We still have guests raving about what a great time they had during the day. Smoothest Wedding Ever
I cannot believe what an incredible experience I had with Lost Creek Winery. The staff are very professional and made everything super easy. The venue is lovely with multiple spots for the ceremony, a lovely reception hall, and a backup rain plan (just in case). You can change where the ceremony is as late as to 2 hours before the ceremony starts which is incredible as a just in case plan. The venue also provides a day of coordinator and assistant in the cost of the services.
Christi who was a our coordinator did a completely phenomenal job. She was super organized and easy to work with. It was easy to get a hold of her whenever we needed to reach out. She was on top of everything and very flexible when we had requests and questions.
We rented out the house for the full day (for a slight extra fee), which was totally worth it. The bridal suite was lovely to get ready in, with lots of space, places to store items, and comfortable furniture. The grooms suite was also nice, but not quite as large. We were able to pre-order sparking wine to have in the suites and bring bourbon for the guys. Very relaxing space to get ready.
Our wedding went off without a hitch and flowed very smoothly between each transition. The vendors that they recommended were great. We were so happy that we made this choice, and if we had to do it all over, we 100% would be back at the Harvest House. -

Best Venue Ever!
We chose to hold my daughter's wedding at the Harvest House at Lost Creek. It was a fall wedding and the setting was absolutely gorgeous. The trees were in full color. For the photographer, the landscape as background enhanced every photo. But more importantly, Stephanie from Lost Creek was an amazing help both during the planning phase and the day of the wedding. She kept everything on schedule and guided us through all the details. The wedding went so smoothly and it proved to be a magical day for both the bride and groom. Thank you Lost Creek!! -

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect because of Joanna Serth at the Harvest House, and the gorgeous venue! Working with Joanna was so smooth, and she quickly and easily handled anything we wanted or needed on the day of the event. When we met Joanna, we knew she would do an incredible job as our day of coordinator. In terms of the venue, you truly can't beat it - view of the vineyards, spacious indoor reception space, gorgeous outdoor ceremony options, and a cozy cocktail reception area. Our guests were raving about how wonderful the venue was. We absolutely loved every second of it! 10 out of 10. -

We are thrilled with the service that we received from the Harvest House at Lost Creek. We specifically chose them as a wedding venue due to their reception hall as a Plan B in case of rain - which was great for us, because we had an absolute downpour on the day of the wedding. They handled the day with ease, making the hall look stunning during the ceremony, with an incredible flip for the reception that included every detail possible. I knew I didn't have to worry about anything on the day, because I was able to place my trust in their team to the fullest. I could not be happier that we chose Lost Creek as our wedding venue - I only wish we were able to take advantage of the stunning grounds! -

We LOVED having our wedding at Lost Creek! During our initial visit, we knew it was "the one." The vineyard is beautiful, with several outdoor and indoor options. We loved that there were places for back-up locations due to weather.
We purchased the extra venue time in order to get ready at the venue. It was wonderful to have a bridal suite and groom suite to eat, drink, and get pretty before the ceremony.
The was rain in Leesburg on our wedding day, and we were't sure we would be able to have the ceremony outside; however, the event manage, Jackie, listed to us and set up for an outdoor ceremony in the vines. The venue stayed dry the entire day and we and our guests were so happy and impressed with how great everything looked and how smoothly the day ran. I highly, highly recommend this venue! -

Jackie Moe is the perfect event manager. Right from the beginning, we knew we were in good hands with an extremely confident and experienced professional. Jackie was a blast to work with during a time that could have been stressful for us BUT we felt at ease under Jackie's guidance. She never steered us in the wrong direction and wanted to ensure that we had the day we envisioned. The venue is still receiving compliments from our guests. The catering company that Lost Creek works with is everything you expect from your first tasting to the event itself. We would HIGHLY recommend this venue and Jackie Moe to anyone who wants an event done right! -

We recently hosted a Rehearsal Dinner at Lost Creek Winery and cannot give the staff higher praises than above! We live in New England and worked with them remotely for the entire 12 months of planning. Jackie Moe and her team were always available for any question or concern we had - whether it dealt with wine selection from Lost Creek or coordinating the table sitting. The caterer, Celebrations Catering, was fantastic! We hosted a lobster bake for our guests. The event was a huge success, thanks to Jackie and her team. I cannot thank them enough for making the event successful and memorable. -

Couldn't have asked for a better venue for our wedding. Jackie was truly amazing and made the day so relaxed and easy for us. She prepped all the decorations and put everything out so we could just get ready and not worry. It looked absolutely amazing! We were able to have our two dogs, which was a huge requirement and despite the rain, they still were a part of our ceremony. I can't say enough good things about Harvest House and the amazing people who work their.-

Lost creek winery was the perfect place for our wedding. It comes with so much outdoor space to work with and 2 different indoor spaces. The bar terrace, the porch with the rocking chairs, and the yard with the fire pit were all really nice to make use of. The reception hall was beautiful with very nice floors. The people were great to work with and everything was perfect. -

I don't even know where to begin! Everything about Lost Creek was phenomenal from the staff, to the Harvest House where we all got ready and just the friendliness and organization. Jackie and Patty started with Lost Creek once we had already booked the venue and had been working with other staff there. We met with them a month before the wedding and I was put at complete ease once we talked with them. I was a little anxious since they were coming into the wedding after we had been planning it over a year, but they were well versed on everything we had planned with the other staff and hit the ground running. They were amazing on the day of (especially since we were battling possible rain) but they were always doing everything in their power to execute the day just as we had planned it. I can't truly say there was nothing I would have changed or done differently. Their professionalism was so appreciated (especially considering I'm type A and we have some meddling mothers) but they never once seemed annoyed or put off!! I would recommend this venue and staff to anyone! -

We absolutely loved this venue!! From our original tour to our wedding, everything was very smooth. We did have turnover in the Director of Sales and then our Event Manager last minute but I would say, it was still flawless! This happens in my job a lot (hotel management) so it didn't bother me. Jackie, the new DOS was very responsive through the process and we enjoyed working with her! Our event manager, Patty, who I had only met at the rehearsal, was absolutely amazing!! Patty really understood what we were looking for in our day with only meeting the day prior! I would only recommend that when a change like this happens, inform the couple - I would have preferred to know immediately versus meeting a new manager the day before my wedding. Although, I have to say, Patty was amazing and really did understand our vision for the day.
The venue staff was beyond welcoming to our vendors, making it really easy to set up and get us and the bridal party in order. The Bridal suite was perfect for my large bridal party and the food we ordered for lunch was delicious! It truthfully was a perfect day!
All of our guests LOVED the venue and how beautiful the grounds were! For us, it was a priority to have an exclusive/secluded location so this venue was ideal. You have the operational winery a distance away so you don't hear any noise or have any random people driving up to your venue. It truly was ideal for our wedding!
The only down side is the location of the bathrooms – they are only in the Harvest House and not in the reception building which is kind of an inconvenience but from my understanding the staff was very helpful with directing guests and ensuring guests knew where to go. Not a huge issue and really the only area of improvement in my mind.
Again, we had a wonderful day and it was due in part of the venue and venue staff being so accommodating and helpful! We are beyond thrilled with how our wedding day went!

We visited The Harvest House the day after we got engaged, and we knew this was the perfect place for our wedding. The location itself is secluded, serene, and beautiful. We were married in the fall (10/21) and the changing leaves are just stunning, making for gorgeous photos. Melissa was very responsive and answered all our questions regarding the venue and creating the contract. Then we worked closely with the event manager to make sure our vision of the day would come to life. The original event manager we were working with left after having a baby, but there was never any concern as we were immediately introduced to the new event manager, Shaye. Shaye was patient with all my questions and professional in all her answers. I trusted her opinion when it came to wedding details and decor, and she set up the day perfectly, even adding a few touches I hadn't thought of which I LOVED. In addition to the perfect venue for our big day, my entire family could not stop raving about the wine! From start to finish, my experience with Lost Creek was perfect. 100% recommend!! -

The Harvest House at Lost Creek Winery was awesome! The Event Manager, Shaye, was amazing. She was very communicative and responsive - she made planning and logistics so easy. Shaye and her assistant were there the day before to facilitate our ceremony rehearsal, coordinate supply drop off, and then on wedding day, Shaye coordinated with all of the vendors to make sure everything was set up perfectly and that the day went smoothly. The staff support was great!
Additionally, the Harvest House grounds are just beautiful. There are a couple ceremony location options on the grounds and the grounds are kept immaculately. The Harvest House is the perfect wedding space for a cocktail hour, with the outdoor patio, and also has a great set up for the bridal suite and the grooms suite. The Carriage House for the reception is simple yet elegant - a fantastic reception space.
We'd recommend The Harvest House at Lost Creek Winery to everyone! We loved everything about it - it was an incredible value. -

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue. From the day we walked onto the property to take a tour, we knew the customer service here was one of a kind, and that proved to be true all the way to our wedding day, and even beyond! Melissa is so great, super attentive and responsive, and made me feel reassured throughout the entire planning process. Our original coordinator went on maternity leave shortly after the real planning begin, and Melissa stepped in and did it all. And, when the new coordinator, Shaye (who is WONDERFUL) came on board, she made the transition seamless and easy. Working with Shaye was a piece of cake, and she made me feel relaxed and at ease all the way until I walked down the aisle. I had always dreamed of getting ready at the venue in a beautiful bridal suite, and Lost Creek delivered. I had put a box of items I wanted to set up in the bridal suite the day of, and when I arrived, it was already set up, and the champagne was already being chilled, with glasses and everything all ready to go! The bridal suite was quaint and spacious and the sun poured through the windows while we relaxed on the couch, sipping mimosas, and getting ready. The huge bathroom was a big plus as well (perfect for our make-up artist to set up all of her things)! We were lucky enough to be blessed with beautiful weather, so we were able to get married in the vineyard in the setting we had dreamed up in our heads. It could not have been more perfect! After the venue, our guests had so much room to roam around. There were people everywhere! On the front porch, outside of the Carriage House, on the patio, playing corn hole in the yard. I loved every minute of our wedding at Lost Creek! When we got home from our honeymoon last week, there was a sweet thank you note in the mail from Shaye & Melissa. Thank you, Lost Creek, for absolutely everything. We can't wait to come back and visit! -

We used the Winery at Lost Creek as a venue for our pre wedding celebration (not a full rehearsal dinner). The venue was absolutely beautiful and allowed us to use both the tasting room and the outdoor patio. Their wine was wonderful and gave many of our out of town guests a chance to try the Virginia wine that we love so much. Their catering company provided was with light bites (sandwiches and canopies) which were just perfect. We loved the atmosphere of the winery and would happily use them again. -

From the initial tour with Melissa, to coordination of our special day with Shaye, we are absolutely impressed with this amazing venue! The venue is a private section of The Vineyards at Lost Creek, and we definitely felt like we were in our own world. Our ceremony was held outdoors at the vineyards, where I walked through a beautiful line of trees to an amazing arbor to meet my husband. We "played" in the vineyards after the ceremony for some breathtaking pictures, surrounded by the natural beauty of Loudoun County, while our guests began to party the night away in the Harvest House (and outdoor patio bar, complete with lawn games!) for the cocktail hour. We met our guests in the adjoining Carriage House for a beautiful reception. The entire experience, from start to finish, was more than my new husband and I could have hoped for - the staff are responsive, professional, helpful and were great at anticipating our needs. Shaye made sure that our event was set up just as we wanted it to be, coordinated our rehearsal with ease, and did everything with a smile! We HIGHLY recommend The Harvest House at Lost Creek for anyone's wedding and reception - from the convenient location of all events in one, private place, to the natural beauty of the vineyard, Harvest House & Carriage House, to the amazing staff - we couldn't have asked for anything more! Thank you!! -

I don't know where to begin. We had our wedding at Lost Creek on 6/2/2017. From the second we stepped on the premises looking for wedding venues to the moment we stepped on the bus leaving our wedding, our experience with Lost Creek and their staff (shout out Melissa and Joanna) was nothing short of perfection. I usually try to look for an area of improvement in reviews and I can honestly think of none. As the hub for all the other vendors needed for the wedding, Lost Creek effortlessly coordinated all the behind the scenes activities essentially acting as our wedding planner. Everyone was an absolute pleasure to work with and if you don't take my word for it know that we haven't stopped hearing from everyone who attended how beautiful the venue was and how smoothly the event ran. If you have a wedding between 100-200 people, and you like wine, you are making a mistake not to choose Lost Creek.

We had our wedding at Lost Creek Winery last month and perfect doesn't even begin to describe it. Melissa and Lauren were fantastic and alleviated the stress of planning a wedding. They were always quick to get back to me when I had questions and were very accommodating along the way. They took the guess work out of everything and made it an enjoyable process from start to finish. My vendors and guests were impressed with how organized everything was on the day of and the days leading up to the event. We didn't have to worry about anything on our big day and it was more than we could have dreamed of! Vivian with Celebrations Catering was also fantastic to work with. She was very flexible and really worked with us to make sure that we had everything we needed on the day of. The food was PHENOMENAL and we couldn't be happier with our choice to have our wedding at Lost Creek Winery. :) -

We got married in May 2017, and were so happy to have had both our wedding and reception at the Harvest House at Lost Creek. The venue is beautiful, and we were so impressed by their organization, friendliness, and professionalism.
Melissa was absolutely amazing. She responded to emails quickly, answered all questions we had, and was incredibly organized. She carefully listened and took notes about our ceremony, decorations, etc. She ran an efficient rehearsal the day before our wedding - making sure everyone knew what to do, and when. On the day of our wedding, we didn’t have to do any of the decoration set-up - Melissa did it all! She also ran our ceremony perfectly. We cannot say enough great things!
This venue has one caterer you must use (Celebrations). They were great - the food was delicious, Vivian was friendly and professional, and all of the catering staff was amazing on the day of the wedding. -

We had the most beautiful and perfect fall wedding thanks to Lost Creek Winery. From Melissa in the beginning who gave us all of the information we needed about cost and what was included to our wonderful Event Manager Lauren and Catering Officer Vivian our day was flawless!
As a head up with this venue you must use their catering (Celebrations Catering). We were okay with that going in and the food was wonderful! All of guest complimented the food which we all know is something people remember! They LOVED the hors d'oeuvres which were the mini crab cakes, grilled citrus shrimp, and tomato soup shooters =). The service at cocktail and dinner was also superb. Vivian and her team know what they are doing and were very accommodating to some of my last minute changes! Lauren was wonderful to work with. She answered every question within one day if not same day. She helped make the day of just flow so wonderfully. I was able to peak into the reception while everyone was at cocktail and Lauren was able to put together all of the decor I brought just as I imagined! I can't thank them enough for making my wedding day so special!
Bonus: The outdoor patio recently had bistro lights strung from the house to the bar which was another reason we went with Lost Creek for the ambiance not to mention the great wine which is now our favorite! -

I cannot say enough amazing things about this venue and their amazing staff. The venue itself is just gorgeous, it has a big reception hall and a separate house/building with the bridal suite, an awesome outdoor bar and patio for cocktail hour and 3 different outdoor options for the ceremony. The Sales & Event Manager Melissa provided our tour and was our go to getting everything booked and she was fantastic - she was organized, quick to respond to emails, and just really on top of everything. In addition they provide a day of coordinator, we had Lauren, who was so ridiculously incredible. She was patient and responsive and had ways to make everything we wanted to work and also lots of ideas. Then there is Vivian with Celebrations Catering who is also just amazing and so great to work with, she really worked with us to accommodate our every request and again had great ideas for us. She also helped make sure the day of went smoothly. The 3 of these ladies were all just so nice, professional, efficient, and just great to work with - they are truly invested in making sure you have your perfect day.
Oh and I can't forget how good the food and wine was!! I seriously have guests who still comment over a month later about the food. I know some people don't like being restricted to their exclusive catering company at Lost Creek - but honestly the food was so good you won't regret it. And we still have friends talking about how great the wine was.
Honestly, I can't think of one thing I would have wanted done differently for our wedding day. It was seriously just easy and perfect thanks to their great team. I can't say enough about how great this venue is -- and I must add they were the most reasonably priced of all the places I looked, and had more to offer for the cost. Love love love everything about our wedding at Lost Creek. -

Lost Creek's wedding venue was stunning! We knew we wanted to get married on a winery, and Lost Creek was the perfect venue. We really liked how the venue was not in the same area as the public tasting room. The venue is on a private area in another area of the vineyard. We also loved that we could rent the Harvest House the entire day. Our hair and makeup vendors came to the winery, and we were able to spend the whole day getting ready there. They have three options for getting married outside, and a decent rain plan back up if needed. Their wine is also delicious!! If you choose not to serve liquor, you can receive a 10% discount on the wine. We brought our own beer and soda, and used the wineries wine. Our guests were obsessed with the Rose, but you really can't go wrong with all of their wines! Both Melissa and Lauren were amazing to work with. Several of our guests asked, "How did you find this place?!" One concern with the venue is that they only have restrooms in the house, next to the reception room. There are 4 bathrooms to use, and with our guest count of 115, it didn't seem to be a problem. It was something that I was concerned about. I would absolutely recommend having your wedding at Lost Creek!! -

The planner assigned to our group, Lauren, was professional, decisive and very patient. Our guests thought the wedding went as planned, even thought there was some "drama". The grounds are very scenic and allow for a variety of events. The Harvest House was a perfect size for a wedding of 150 persons. -

From the planning phase through the actual wedding day, Lauren (and Melissa and Joanna) were incredibly responsive, detail-oriented, and professional. Our guests (especially my in-laws) could not believe that I "planned everything" but really, I credit our vendors - especially the Lost Creek team - for helping us to pull together such a beautiful, memorable day. The venue itself was the perfect backdrop for a picturesque wedding. And with the complimentary day-of coordination, everything went so smoothly - in fact, the day flew by. We paid for extra time in the bridal suite, and I'm so glad we did - it is a lovely place to get ready without having to worry about rushing to get anywhere. We are so happy that we chose the Harvest House as our wedding venue, and highly recommend it to others! -

Lost Creek was wonderful! The new wedding coordinator, Lauren, was amazing! She was extremely prompt responding to all e-mails and she coordinated with all of my vendors! For example, we were worried it might rain the day of our wedding and we were discussing rain options at the rehearsal walk-through. Lauren had already contacted all of the necessary vendors and told them about a rain plan. There is no need for a separate day of coordinator as Lauren is super organized and on top of everything! I also found the service of Celebrations Catering (you have to use them if you go with Lost Creek) to be spectacular! They were extremely professional and totally took care of the reception set-up. They also let you bring your own beer and liquor with no pour fee. However, we had to buy more wine than required from Lost Creek because our guests loved it so much! If you choose this venue, get married in the backyard of the Harvest House. It was a beautiful setting and you are steps from the cocktail hour bar! -

Planning a wedding from around the world is stressful! The ladies at Lost Creek did an awesome job! Questions were answered and recommendations were on spot the day of the wedding. The guests loved the locations. The suites were really nice but the ladies room was really hot. Not sure what else they can do because the ceiling fan doesn't help cool off the master bath where hair and make-up was being done. I wanted a pretty stress free day and the ladies at the winery provided just that! When I dropped off all the decorations the day before I provided an "image board" of what I loved with setups. I gave the ladies full power to place things as they see fit and they did a phenomenal job. One last thing, the wine is AWESOME! -

We had our wedding and reception here in May 2016 and we could not be happier! We knew the minute we looked at the venue that it was where we would get married. We worked with Melissa and Lauren along the way and both were very professional, easy to work with, responsive, and receptive to our ideas. Now, it rained nearly the entire week before and day of our wedding so all of our plans had to be changed but Lauren made sure that everything was amazing despite the rain. While Lauren was only supposed to be there to make sure the event flowed, she went above and beyond and made me feel like I did not need to worry about anything because she had it all taken care of! The pricing of the venue is very reasonable considering all that goes into renting the venue space. You are required to use Celebrations Catering; however, we found them to be very easy to work with and it was helpful that they had such a good relationship with the venue. Our day was absolutely perfect and that was in part to everyone at the venue who not only made sure everything was taken care of but eased my stress along the way. We would recommend Lost Creek to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with wonderful staff! -

We held our wedding and reception here in April 2016 and loved the venue and would recommend it to others enthusiastically.
The vineyards surrounding Harvest House are beautiful even in early spring and provided stunning backdrops for our event. The Harvest House provides the wedding party large suites for the bride and groom to dress and prepare before the wedding.
Melissa and Lauren were both outstanding to work with throughout the entire process. Lauren, our event coordinator, was professional, responsive, and very personable doing a wonderful job coordinating everything. She was so flexible helping us to make last minute changes the day before because of inclement weather.
The venue’s caterer is Celebrations Catering and we would highly recommend them. Vivian was a pleasure to work with and the food was outstanding! Lost Creek wines are excellent and a definite hit with our guest! Overall, we are very pleased we chose Harvest House at Lost Creek Winery for our wedding and reception. Our family and friends raved about the venue, the wines, grounds and food. Their pricing is very competitive and includes many extras other venues don’t. Thank you to everyone at Lost Creek that helped make our wedding day so special.

So my wedding date isn't until next January (2017), but since I first began communicating with Melissa from Lost Creek, I have felt comfortable with using them as a venue. Melissa quickly responds to all my emails and inquiries, is always friendly and knowledgeable, and we just booked the venue for sure. I'll update this review after the wedding, but I'm super excited to get married here. Fiance and I both knew when we saw the place that it HAD to be at Lost Creek. We're in love with it!
Update: Six months until the wedding, and it just dawned on me that it might snow on my wedding date. So I was freaking out, and I emailed Lost Creek, and they responded in less than 24 hours and assured me that if there was snow projected, they would work with me to push the date a couple of days. I really love this venue. -

I held my wedding here at the beginning of August and it was absolutely gorgeous. There were grapes on the vines, a beautiful hold summer day, and the grounds of the vineyard looked just as I had hoped for. My only complaint was the bugs in which Mother Nature could only control. As far as the staff Tiffany and Melissa were amazing from setting up the venue to exactly how I wanted it to ensuring that everything looked exactly how I described. They were great in arranging a floorplan to accommodate my large wedding party and ensuring we got the photo booth inside. Everything looked wonderful and was amazing. The food from celebrations catering was a hit, everyone raved about it and continued to go up for seconds, we over ordered on food and had very little leftover. The caterer gave the leftovers to my husband’s family in which they devoured the next day. Vivian from Celebrations Catering was wonderful to work with and made everything absolutely perfect. The wine at this winery is delicious, we became wine club members because we love the atmosphere and the wines they offer. Another benefit of this venue is you can provide your own beer and alcohol verses having to buy it from the caterer which was great for us since not all our guest could drink. My only recommendation for future brides is to ensure you get the Harvest House for the full day. We only got it for our allotted time and both my husband and I said it would have been nice to be there all day and take pictures on the grounds all day long, plus the bridal suit is amazing and so pretty!! I would definitely recommend this venue to future Brides. -

I had my wedding at Lost Creek in early June in the Harvest House, and I would absolute recommend the venue. I couldn’t be happier with how the event turned out. The inside of the venue was new, elegant and simple, and beautiful, and the natural setting of the winery outside was gorgeous. The staff was incredibly flexible, professional, and knowledgeable. Melissa was helpful with everything… from putting in extra work to make my family situation run more smoothly, to making the room layout work for my number of guests, to setting up the ceremony just as I envisioned. She was flexible with what I wanted—but she was also no nonsense. She knows what works and what doesn’t, and will let you know. The outdoor bar was very popular, and I received tons of compliments afterwards about how festive it was. Additionally, everyone raved about the food through Lost Creek’s caterer, Celebrations Catering. During the event, I didn’t even really notice the event coordinator, but then she seemed to just appear when something was happening or I needed assistance. I had a worry free, beautiful day, with lots of delicious wine! -

We had our wedding at the Harvest House and we loved the entire experience. The setting is beautiful, the staff is very pleasant and we had the time of our lives. I definitely recommend this winery because of how accommodating they were with the plans. All of the other wineries which we visited would not allow us to start our ceremony and reception until they closed their doors to the public. This was not the case at Lost Creek. They had the Harvest House ready for our event at the time that we wanted. This was huge for us.
We had the pleasure of using their in-house catering provider (Celebrations Catering). They were a first class company for sure. The food was excellent and they were a pleasure to work with from the very start all the way through to wedding day. Vivian and David made us feel as ease to share our ideas about the food (we are very much into fresh and definitely love to cook). They listened and made recommendations that went over beautifully with us and our guests. We heard from many picky family members that the food was the best food that they ever had at a wedding and that the service was also far above. They did a fabulous job for us. Thank you to all of the people that made our day so special. -

We held our wedding at Lost Creek in late September at the Harvest House. We held our ceremony in the back of the house and then our reception in the Carriage House. The Harvest House was a great venue for the ceremony and the cocktail hour on the back porch and the Carriage House which was recently renovated looked beautiful with the dark wood floors and neutral tones, it allowed our place setting and floral arrangements to stand out perfectly. We worked with Kaira who was a huge help making sure the event ran smoothly and all items were setup prior to us arriving on our wedding day. Our guests had a wonderful time and the intimate setting of the entire venue really made the day extra special and unique. We highly recommend Lost Creek for your big day and the hardest decision will be which wines to offer as there are so many to choose from that you will love! -

We had our wedding at Lost Creek in August and it was AWESOME!!! We visited many vineyards when seeking a wedding venue, and decided on Lost Creek because they are definitely the best winery for events--they do many weddings every month and have great facilities indoors and outdoors to accommodate groups of different sizes. They also include tables/buffets etc. so we didn't need to deal with rentals! The price was great, so it was definitely an easy choice!
We met with Melissa many times prior to the event and she was absolutely fantastic. Melissa had great ideas for decor and everything was put together beautifully. It ended up raining on our wedding day, and she and the team did a great job of changing the plan from outside to inside at a moment's notice.
I wanted to express my most sincere thanks to MELISSA and the rest of the staff at Lost Creek for being SO AMAZING on our wedding night! Melissa, you were an absolute joy to work with and did such an awesome job handling everything! We were so lucky to have you orchestrating everything behind the scenes, and I want you to know how much we appreciate it.

We drove up to the Tasting Room in the dead of winter and fell in love with this location! There was no doubt in my mind that we were going to get married here, and we decided immediately that nothing else could top this venue. Melissa and Kaira are both on top of their game and gave us a clear outline of what to expect, making this whole process a lot easier to navigate. Both were very responsive to our questions, no matter how ridiculous, which we greatly appreciated. Having Kaira take care of the day-of coordination gave me peace of mind so that we (and our families!) could enjoy the night. Everything about our wedding turned out so much better than we could have ever imagined ... including having our first dance on the fountain patio under shooting stars (ok, so maybe the winery didn't plan that part, but the pergola and twinkle lights alone would have been just as pretty)! We love this place and we'll definitely come back to visit! -

We had a small wedding (40pp) on a cold day in November so we had the ceremony and wine reception in Lost Creek's Tasting Room. Melissa and Kara were an absolute pleasure to work with!! When I showed up early on my wedding day, they had every detail taken care of and the room was so beautifully decorated! The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Lost Creek is a beautiful venue for a wedding, I would highly recommend to anyone. -

Lost Creek -- in summary: perfect. The staff: amazing. Melissa (event manager): perfect and amazing. I need a thesaurus to find other ways of describing how much I loved Lost Creek.
I don't have a lot of weddings -- but Lost Creek does. And Melissa and everyone at Lost Creek made my life so easy. She gave us ideas (lanterns and tea lights and outdoor heaters), she pointed us in the right direction (rental company, which direction to point the chairs during the ceremony, where to take photos), and she worked with us to find solutions when a week of rain that ended the morning of our event made our ceremony spot too muddy. Melissa and her team are always busy -- but they know what they are doing and they will not let you down. They work it.
Plus, the venue is gorgeous - with lots of options for how to arrange your ceremony/reception, the caterer that they work with is awesome (Celebrations - friendly, responsive, and DELISH), and the Lost Creek wine -- I'm just sad my guests drank so much of it that night because I want more!
If you want simple & elegant - a place where you can enjoy being inside and outside - and you want the best staff in the DC area, then Lost Creek is it. I'd get married every year (to my husband, of course), if I could keep going back to Lost Creek! -

Melissa was absolutely wonderful and helped us map out our total event. The suppliers she recommended were great and I don't know how we would have gotten through all the planning and execution without her. I would be remiss if I didn't say we missed her tremendously at our actual wedding as she was ill, we completely understand as this was unavoidable. -

Melissa and her staff at Lost Creek are superb. I truly cannot say enough nice things about everyone there. From the moment my fiance and I were driving up, I knew this was the place I wanted to be married. On the smaller side, they have several options for ceremony locations - we choose the pavilion. The tasting room was transformed into our cocktail hour and the the reception area was stunning with fireplaces to keep the non-dancers warm outside. Melissa and her staff handled everything behind the scene and never broke a sweat. We also rented the Harvest House to get ready. While the basement still needs to be renovated, the rest of the house is gorgeous. I have to also call out our bartender, Adam. Adam went above and beyond the call of duty to include driving flowers over to my wedding party and picking up my bag that I left in the Harvest House. If I had to do this all over again, I would pick Lost Creek as the venue again and again. I love the place so much I became a founding Harvest Member. Now I get to enjoy (discounted) wine all year long! -

Love, love, love this winery!! They were so accommodating and reasonably priced. They are dog friendly, and our dog was in our wedding, so he was able to walk around the entire winery. Melissa, our wedding coordinator, was phenomenal. They have a beautiful tasting room with a fireplace, and an amazing fountain patio. We couldn't have asked for a better venue! -

You won't regret having your wedding at The Harvest House at Lost Creek Winery. My husband and I toured 12 different venues during our planning process... We were being picky about the venue because it's the foundation upon which the whole rest of your day gets built. Lost Creek was actually the very first one we saw. What we quickly realized as we went all around the D.C. Metro area looking at venues is that no other venue gives you the professionalism, honesty, attentive communication, and bang for your buck that Lost Creek does. It was less expensive than most of the venues we visited, yet their wedding space is not open to the public, you can have it to yourself the whole day, and you can dance until midnight if you want. I was bummed at first that we were somewhat limited in the decor of the reception room (ex., no twinkle lights, no wall decor), but the reality is, with your DJ lighting and your floral arrangements, along with the gorgeous hardwood and neutral walls of the room itself, you don't need anything else. MELISSA IS A ROCKSTAR by the way. My husband kept saying the whole night "we couldn't have done any of this without Melissa" and it's 100% true. She is trustworthy, hard-working, knowledgable, warm, and funny. She is truly the best in the biz. There are several options on the premises to choose from for your ceremony space - all are lovely. The cocktail hour space is awesome and our guests loved it! We had drizzles during our ceremony so it got moved indoors, but the process was smooth and efficient - and the photos turned out great anyway. Harvest House/Lost Creek does have an exclusive deal with a caterer, and I should note that the caterer is quite pricy, but they did a fantastic job and our point of contact there was super easy to work with and very accommodating. Overall, we can't recommend The Harvest House at Lost Creek Winery highly enough - they gave us the best wedding day ever!!! -

I had my wedding at Lost Creek on October 22nd of this year and words cannot begin to express how perfect it was. First, the staff at Lost Creek is top notch. Melissa the sales director was extremely professional, always quick to reply to every email and extremely easy to work with. Lauren our wedding coordinator was amazing, our day ran so smoothly and she made sure that us and our guests were well taken care of that day. Second, the venue is just stunning (especially during the fall when the leaves start charging). I have received countless compliments on our wedding venue and how beautiful it was. We brought lots of our own decorations but the venue is perfect on its own. If I had the choice to go back in time and make ANY changes to my wedding day I would not change a thing (well... I would change Mother Nature a little because it was SO windy haha). Thank you for making my wedding day truly the most amazing day of my life! We will be returning soon! -

We had an amazing wedding. Lost Creek was the first of nine venues that we toured, and we chose this venue because of the people who worked there, and the beautiful settings they offered for a great value. Lauren and Melissa were incredibly accommodating, helpful, and responsive. The venue itself offers so many settings and accommodations (like the bridal suite) to have a unique wedding. One thing to keep in mind is that, obviously, we bought the wine from Lost Creek, and it's delicious, but depending upon what wines are available, you may be limited to what you can purchase for the wedding. We had one option for red wine- and I wish we would have a few more to choose from, with a few more varying price points. Other than that- we couldn't have chosen a better venue. -

Beautiful Venue and Delicious Food
I am so happy we had our wedding at The Harvest House at Lost Creek Winery. The food was delicious and all of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Lacey and Allie were a great team to work with and truly made our day feel special and run smoothly. They were so helpful during our rehearsal and in helping set up all of our decor and packing it all up! Every single person we worked with from our bartenders to servers were just amazing.
Aimee, the owner, was also very accommodating when we were in the early planning stages and had to change our date by one weekend - she was able to update for us. The flow of this venue is great. We held our ceremony down by the Vineyard (and it was stunning!) The cocktail hour behind the house was great and the bridal suite was nice to get ready in.
This setting was perfect for our late Fall wedding, was a good value for the price and I highly recommend this for a winery vibe with lovely nature surrounding. -

It has everything!
The Harvest House venue and staff were the perfect choice for our July wedding. What I think I loved the most though was all of the options that the venue offered, for everything (getting ready, bridal party photos, "hangout out" areas during the reception, etc.), but especially the ceremony: the picturesque vineyard, the classic HH exterior, or the elegant ballroom. Even the back area full of greenery is conducive! (In fact, we did our bridal party photos back there for a bit of shade from the sun!) We knew we wanted a winery and were so happy to have found the Harvest House and its ample options, especially pending weather. Plus, we really enjoyed the balance of all of the elegance for a formal wedding, yet still having a home-like, comfortable feel, particularly with the HH, the back courtyard, and bistro lights. Love!
Aimee and Todd, the owners, were extremely kind and always responsive to our questions. Anne, our wedding coordinator, was a dream to work with! She was responsible and organized, but so fun and easy to talk to, too, which is key for so much planning and back-and-forth communication. Without question, my husband and I chose the right venue for our perfect day!! (Friends and family agree!) -

Our Wedding Day was a DREAM!
Our wedding at Harvest House at Lost Creek Winery was a dream! My fiance and I had visited several wineries in order to find our perfect location and we fell in love with the secluded area in which Harvest House is located. From the gorgeous manor house, to the beautiful landscaping and neutral tones of the Carriage House for reception, we knew we could have a lot of fun with decorating such a beautiful backdrop. We were thrilled to have sunny weather on our May wedding day and Christi, our day of coordinator, made sure everything went to plan. The day was an absolute dream and I would recommend this venue for any couple who wants to share an intimate wedding day in a beautiful landscape with a truly professional team. Thanks again Christi and and Harvest House! -

The Harvest House at Lost Creek Winery was a fantastic venue for our June 2018 wedding. Jackie and her team were extremely responsive to our requests and took the initiative when necessary during planning and on the day of the wedding. Lost Creek is a hidden gem for couples looking for a winery wedding in Northern VA. Unlike some other wineries, they have their own event space, the Harvest House, that is completely private. The space is beautiful with the perfect mix of outdoor/indoor areas. We had planned our ceremony to be in the vineyard, with cocktail hour inside the house and on the patio, and the reception in the carriage house. Due to rain, the vineyard was too muddy, but we were able to move the ceremony to the backyard of the house which was equally as beautiful. Their pricing is very reasonable, especially for Sunday weddings, and gets you the entire day to yourself without having to share with other couples or winery visitors. I will note that you have to buy a certain amount of their wine (which is delicious) and use one caterer (Celebrations).
I worked with Lauren, the main coordinator, and Joanna, who ran it on the wedding day under Lauren's supervision. Lauren was very responsive and organized throughout the planning process. Joanna was great on the wedding day -- she was super nice and I felt she was on top of things so I could relax and enjoy myself.
Overall, I really loved this venue, and the entire day was extremely smooth! My guests had plenty of compliments on how nice the space was, even with my extremely minimal decorations. -

We worked with Melissa our Coordinator ever since I sent my poor Fiance to an open house at the Vineyard without me (Military couple and I was still stationed in Germany at the time), they were SO sweet and Skyped with me until I moved two months later. We went to see it and fell in love mostly with the people running the Vineyard. They were so laid back and didn't put any pressure on us, and we loved the Harvest House! I'm so happy we are getting married here. I was slightly hesitant about the Catering, since they have an exclusive contract and you don't get to bring your own caterer in, but they have been fantastic to work with and our menu looks -

The Team at Lost Creek was amazing! We started our journey with Events Manager Melissa back in January. She was very thorough in going through options/ideas for our ceremony/reception prior to us signing the contract. Once we decided to proceed she was available via email to answer all questions and concerns that came up during planning. We visited the winery several times before our wedding and made great Friends. We even joined the wine club. During one of our visits; we met Amy and Todd (the owners) what great people. As we got closer; we started to work with Kaira (New Event Manager) she was awesome! She also served as our day of coordinator. EVERY single detail was nailed during our event and we had a lot of details. We could not have asked for a better Team to assist us with planning and hosting our special day. I really feel like we have Friends for Life at Lost Creek. Simply Awesome People.

From the moment my then-fiance and I saw Lost Creek we knew it was the perfect place to have our wedding. It is the perfect combination of elegance and romance while maintaining an outdoorsy feel. The place itself is beautiful. During our 15 months of planning we had many, many questions. They were generally very good at responding and answering any questions we had. The event itself was absolutely gorgeous. I was blown away when I walked into the Carriage House. Everything was handled very professionally and efficiently. We had the pleasure of working with Cathy Russo from A New Leaf Events, who was contracted through Lost Creek. She was basically a rock star-- she thought of and took care of every single detail. Her help was truly invaluable. Lost Creek was one of the best wedding decisions we made. Highly recommend the venue to anyone who wants something a little rustic with the ability to add in glam or romantic details. -

Harvest House vineyard wedding August 1,2021
From the very beginning we had a great experience with Harvest House at Lost Creek. We loved the venue due to its intimate and quaint feeling for our wedding for 60 people ( though it can easily hold 170). We felt comfortable with the space during COVID bc we knew our guests would be able to socially distance and feel comfortable spaced out both I side and out. Lacey was responsive and always pleasant, we enjoyed our tasting before the wedding and the food was excellent. You should know that you can only choose one entree for your event though (for example….either the beef or chicken but not both). The venue was perfect for our needs and we loved that it was a vineyard as well and our pictures among the vines and grapes were beautiful. We had our own wedding planner but Lacey worked with them throughout the day to make sure everything went well and Lacey also checked in on us throughout the day which we really appreciated. If you are thinking of this for your venue you should check it out to see if it’s right for you. -

This review is long overdue! Our wedding was this past fall with Lost Creek. We were looking for a rustic location with the ability to have an open bar and tent. Many vineyards in Leesburg area do NOT allow open bars. Lost creek has 2 facilities for which they do weddings. One is the main winery/shop but did not allow open bar. They were renovating their newest location at the Harvest House. Due to our nerves with booking a venue that was not completely finished they amended our contract to allow us to pull out with no penalties if this was not completed.
We had a bumpy ride at first with this venue due to a few things:
1) new venue location with no settled plans/construction 2) Slow response at times from coordinator 3) A contracted set caterer (Celebrations) who happened to cancel our contract 3 wks from our wedding when we questioned the changing price and inconsistency with contract. (Owner is a hot head!) We luckily got a 2nd chance and used Purple Onion(Vienna) for catering and the food was WAY better.
Despite the bumps, I can honestly say... this venue was worth it. The week of our wedding it POURED and the day before our wedding there was no option to have it under the tent. The venue (Owner of the winery and wedding coordinator, not to mention others!) worked around the clock to pull lighting/draping from the tent and move into an unfinished barn structure while pouring outside and they made sure things would work out and it did. It was beyond beautiful.
I think the bumps in the road were more from the set up of a new venue and uncertainties not all under control by the winery. The caterer issue I hope LC dealt with as LC owner was genuinely upset.
In the end, despite the stress (above) as all wedding planning has bumps- the venue truly came together for us when we needed them. We are members of their club and go back with fond memories. -

Shaina and Wait/Bar staff are Incredible!
Our day went beautifully and there is no way we could have pulled it off without the bar staff, the wait staff (especially Teri) and the superstar, Shaina.
The food for the in house catering was absolutely delicious and the premium open bar is well worth the investment. -

UPDATE 4/22/2016: It has been over 60 days since we were married and we still have NOT RECEIVED OUR DEPOSIT! The contract stated it would be 30-days after the event. While I've been corresponding with them, there seems to be no answers except "I don't know what happened". I'm utterly disappointed. I loved having our wedding there but now, the trouble and stress of needing to pester them to get my deposit back is just ruining the image of this place. My suggestion: if you gonna go with this venue, make sure you get on them ASAP regarding the deposit that they supposedly will return in 30-days. I'm still waiting on my deposit.
We first found the location in October and as soon as my fiancee contacted Lost Creek, we heard back from Melissa. She is very helpful. Two weeks after we toured the facilities and had a clear explanation of what we would need and the process.
Since our wedding is scheduled for end of February, we were so relieved to hear that if there was a snow storm, we can reschedule the wedding for another day.
The facilities is so elegant and we love the fact that it has an intimate setting for the cocktail and a beautiful larger setting for the ceremony. The minute we toured the place, we knew this was what we wanted.
Lost Creek uses a dedicated catering service and while we were a bit apprehensive about a minimum, we are happy to know that there were none. There is another three months from our big day and Lost Creek with Celebration Catering has made this wedding planning process less stressful. I can't emphasize enough how happy we found this place and we can have our wedding here. It's more than we had hoped and imagined we can within our tight budget. -

We had our wedding reception at the carriage house at lost creek. Beautiful place and with plenty of parking. There was an event going on at the tasting room, but it definitely didn't detract away from our reception. Kiara was very flexible and used tables that already had for things like the place cards. She made the room look beautiful and there was plenty of space! The bathrooms weren't done yet so our guests had to go into the harvest house to use the bathroom. But, this turned out to be great because our guests enjoyed getting away from the music occasionally. This venue isn't a place for a very upscale event, nor is it like a barn. It was a nice, very homey type feel which didn't make you want to leave! -

A great choice for a vineyard wedding venue
Harvest House was a beautiful location to have our wedding. We chose this place because of the beautiful outdoor spaces, vineyard backdrop, and home-like feel of the location. Another great detail about this venue is that the tasting room is on the other side of the vineyard, so you don’t have to worry about people visiting the winery accidentally walking into your event. The provided coordination team was great during the day of the event. As of this writing, the only vendor requirements they had was that we use a specific caterer for food and that we purchased drinks (alcohol and non-alcoholic) from them.
With respect to criticisms of the venue, we found the most difficult part being that we did not have a coordinator assigned to us until 60 days before the event. This was difficult because we were planning the event from another state, so meeting the coordinator 1-2 months before the event had to be deliberately planned. Also, due to this restriction, a lot of our planning tasks were blocked until after the coordination meeting which was 4-6 weeks before the event. We found that communication over email was a bit slow at times and sometimes required multiple emails to get a response.
Lastly, it seemed like Harvest House and Lost Creek was going through a transition from when we booked the venue to our event (which was a year and half). It felt like the owners were getting their bearings managing a winery, tasting room, kitchen, wedding/event venue and all of the staff required to run those components. These issues got better over time, so I wouldn’t be surprised if these criticisms are addressed for future clients. -

Beautiful venue for our early September wedding. The vineyard was just lovely for an outdoor wedding. They did seem to go through a lot of staff while working with me, which made me nervous, but Joanna was a lovely stand-in at the last moment. She guided us through our rehearsal and was prompt and responsive in the few days leading up to the wedding.
They did a nice job of transitioning quickly from an outdoor ceremony/cocktail hour to an indoor cocktail/reception when it started pouring half an hour into the cocktail hour. Communication was good throughout the day, especially in the lead up to the ceremony. It broke down a little at the very end, but I think this is because we should have discussed our clean-up/exit strategy beforehand so that we were on the same page.
The location is a bit hard to find for vendors/guests, so be explicit with your directions. Better signage would be a huge plus. Overall, though, a beautiful venue that I would recommend! -

We had our rehearsal dinner here. It was a lovely event - the space is really special and the wine is great! We had to come out twice for meetings even though only one of them seemed necessary and our coordinator was initially inflexible regarding table arrangements, but ultimately everything worked out. You have to work through their caterer, celebrations, and they were not responsive at first but the food ended up being good and they did a nice job at the event. -

My wedding day was as beautiful and memorable as I ever could have dreamed. Lost Creek really pulled together some amazing feats in a very tight day-of timeline. That said, there were a few bumps in the process, most of which I attribute to the fact that there was some shifting of staff and responsibilities at the time.
-The person we met with for our initial consultation was not the person who was our coordinator. Therefore, some of the things that we were told we could do in that first meeting were not options later on.
-During the planning stages, we weren't entirely pleased with the way the coordinator was communicating with us, and we had to go over her head to her supervisor.
-Despite our opinion that guests would eat from the dessert table if we didn't either have it cordoned off or didn't put it out until later, they insisted we have it set up from the beginning and they would "watch it." As I predicted, guests ate some of the desserts, nearly ruining the display for pictures.
None of these things made for a bad wedding day. The day-of went off wonderfully. I mention them because it made planning the wedding very stressful, and the planning is stressful enough. Since the staff was transitioning roles by the time we got to the bulk of my communication with them, I think they will improve with practice and experience. The venue itself is beautiful and intimate, and I wouldn't have wanted to go anywhere else. -

Lost Creek was a beautiful venue for our wedding! Everyone was helpful and made the planning and set-up/clean-up easy to manage. We got a great deal because of renovations...but were not told about some unexpected delays and mishaps until the week of and day prior to our event. It would have been nice to have little more of a heads up about these occurrences. Also-I think it was a great deal but I would have liked to have bit longer of an event (ours was five hours including ceremony, pictures, cocktail hour and reception) It all felt a little rushed.....and to add just an extra hour on was really expensive! (Like almost 1/2 the price of the venue rental to begin with!) Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Lost Creek and our wedding was awesome. It's a great place for a small-medium sized wedding! :) -

Venue was gorgeous, love the patio. The rental fee is reasonable, if only it were just a rental fee. There is a minimum case requirement, which is pretty standard for a winery, but they require you purchase their wedding coordinator fee (or you can bring your own coordinator, but they have to approve them) which is an additional $500. The fee promises unlimited meetings with the coordinator, but the coordinator I was first assigned was always on vacation, and then they switched me to a different wedding coordinator who was very casual and stated we need only meet once per THEIR scheduling guidelines. Only two small details were overlooked on my big day, which certainly didn't ruin the event, but did make me wonder why the heck this additional fee was charged. Just be vigilant and double check everything. Or bring your own coordinator. -

I was so excited when we found this place. It is a gorgeous venue and, since changing hands, the wine is very much improved. However, we were told that we needed to drop off all of our decorations and such the day before (at the rehearsal). I spent a lot of time organizing everything, putting notes on everything, and typing up a description of what needed to be done. A week before the wedding we were told the coordinator we had been working with was not going to work our wedding. We would have her assistant. We were assured she was wonderful and knew what she was doing. This was NOT the case. The coordinator did very little set up before the wedding started. My husband arrived at the venue 45 prior to ceremony time and everything we had dropped off was still in the back room where we had left it. He had to set everything up and put out fires (as did one of my bridesmaids) until the second he walked down the aisle. This is UNACCEPTABLE. Also, the set up the winery staff did do was done incorrectly even with my detailed instructions. Then, during the ceremony, there was another ceremony going on at the same time about 500 yards away (there is a thin line of trees between the two sites). It was so loud. At the winery we are required to start our ceremony after close (6:00) but there's no reason the other site couldn't start earlier. The noise from both weddings was in competition! We would bow our head to pray and the music would start up next door. It was so embarassing and upsetting. The reception went well (other than the decorations that didn't get set up correctly or at all), but that was mostly because we had an awesome DJ and caterer. I'm so disappointed because the venue is really amazing...the staff just let me down in a huge way. -

I fell in love with this venue even during the dead of winter. We chose this place for a summer wedding that was beautiful. So why the low rating? Service and hidden charges.
Our wedding coordinator, which is appointed by the winery gave us very black and white pricing, which I really appreciated. She had great vision and recommendations as far as the feel for my wedding theme. I was swooned by the charm of the place and I felt taken care of. But, on the most important time of my life, it all fell through! I made an appointment to have a wedding rehearsal. We showed up and my wedding coordinator said she only have five minutes to do the rehearsal since she had to do a tour... I was confused, I thought I had an appointment to go through my rehearsal. My officiant even showed up! My wedding party wasn't impressed with the treatment and it just set a bad tone for the next day... my wedding day.
I show up my wedding day and I am not greeted, I'm attacked with questions from the wedding coordinator who is now filled with attitude and pushiness, rolling her eyes and getting her little minions to follow through with her tasks. Her new assistants, by the way, were either extremely rude or useless. I don't know how my experience here went from amazing to so direly disappointing! With all the pushiness throughout the wedding, my coordinator did not coordinate much. Things were not going smoothly with the DJ or the catering as far as timing and control.
Oh, and at the end, we were hit with a huge wine fee for a mysterious hand count done by the mean little assistant of hers. Did she know how to count? It seemed outrageous when we were hit with this hidden fee. When I asked for more details, they resisted and just stared at me. Hello?? They didn't have any details to show me, I had to trust their word. Thanks for ending our night so affectionately. There was no follow up congratulations and they said they would return our wedding materials... -

The previous owners do not communicate
This venue was sold to a new owner sometime in August. We signed a contract in March of 2024 to have our wedding in March 2025. Since the sale we have not been able to get ahold of the previous owners to refund the deposit we put down on the venue. Additionally, the sale was posted on a local news website with no mention of the change in ownership to us at all until we reached out. -

Deceptive and unprofessional
Sold the venue and didn't tell us. We found out on Instagram. Only after emailing and calling repeatedly did we receive an answer about what was going on. Then, the new owners can't honor the catering or bar package we agreed to in the contract. We're promised a refund but communication was pretty lackluster through the entire process. Now we have to find a new venue that may not even have our date available and will almost certainly be more expensive after booking our other vendors so it's a complete logistical nightmare. I will never recommend anything the previous owners are involved with. -

I was so excited to have our wedding at this venue but we had the worst experience with venue staff and the required catering staff. From the moment we walked up to venue for our tour appointment we were greeted by Kaira, the event facilitator, who screamed at us that we were half hour late and that things would have to be rushed, at which point I pulled up our email exchange to show her we were 10 mins early to our appointment. We should have known from then on that the staff would be unprepared and unprofessional. During the planning phase, there was a lot of miscommunication between the venue and their required catering, we found ourselves in the middle trying to communicate to both parties because they refused to communicate with each other. Kaira was the most unprofessional person at Lost Creek, from her aggressive demeanor to her inability to communicate properly or even apologize for her mistakes along the way. She even ate half of the limited macaron favors I had custom made for the guests during the reception, half the staff was on their phones, sitting down not paying attention during the reception. Worst of all due to lack of communication between catering and the venue, the day of the wedding I was cornered and attacked by Kaira and Vivienne because I asked where the hot bar was, which was part of the proposal from Day 1, they told me they took it off due to budgeting reasons and neglected to tell us. Vivienne from the catering said she was on maternity leave and that is why she was not up to schedule. They told us we would have to pay a rush a fee in addition to the cost so they could get it delivered to the reception in time. We spent all of the time setting up the reception area and when things came down the next day, our decor and centerpieces were thrown into boxes, half of the glass votives were broken and we were missing most of our items. We had the absolute worst experience with Lost Creek, please think twice before booking your wedding here. -
