    Mark is amazing. All of our photos turned out wonderful. We had two engagement shoots and of course our wedding. We are so happy with all of our photos. He is wonderful to work with. Even taking late phone calls when I was freaking out about the smoke coming in from the fires. He made my insanely awkward self look flawless and my non smiling husband smile in every photo. We couldn't be happier with our photos and cannot wait to see our wedding album. Mark is much easier to get ahold of via phone than email (he tells you this, and it is true). He is very busy, but still makes time to be sure your ideas are heard and that you are comfortable. We were living in LA when we booked him, even over FaceTime he made us laugh and feel comfortable. We would highly recommend Mark to anyone looking for a photographer.

    Mark is simply the best! With as busy as mark is his level of professionalism is second to none. His approach to our wedding pictures eliminated all of our concerns about our pictures and we looked forward and enjoyed meeting with him on every occasion. When we saw the pictures he took of us we were simply blown away. From engagement to trash the dress, he far exceeded our expectations. This is a once in a lifetime event and mark is well worth it. To sum up, Mark is simply the best! Thank you mark for capturing the memories for us.

    Mark is an amazing photographer. We met him at a wedding expo and were simply stunned by his pictures. We got him to do our engagement photos and were so impressed with the shoot, we cancelled the contract we had with our original wedding photographer as part of the venue's package. We loved all the pictures we got from Mark, and he's given us great memories captured in pictures. Hiring Mark was one of the best wedding decisions we made. Thank you Mark!

    I gave you a hard time about price before the wedding and you gave me great advice...You said "you can always order more prints and you can always get a nicer ring, and you can always take another vacation, but you can never redo your wedding and how it looks in pictures..." I doubted you at first but you were so right! I just sat down last week and really looked at the pictures from our wedding and you made me cry...a few times:) Great memories that I will cherish for a lifetime!

    Thank You, Thank You, Thank You x 1,000! You made our wedding look so beautiful and unique! I've been married twice so I do have a basis of comparison:) I'm amazed at the creativity you used while shooting our wedding! From the engagement photos to our sexy yet romantic "Trash the Dress" Shoot you met our expectations fully and exceeded what I could have imagined. 1 Super happy couple here! I will recommend you to every one I know because you are worth every penny!

    Your pictures made us cry. Yep my overly sensitive husbands (not at all) eyes welled up while looking at the pics the other day. I wish you would have been here to take a picture of that:} Seriously, you did everything we asked and even more. We are grateful and thankful we chose you.     I read the reviews that people were leaving for other photographers and laughed...I am sooooooooo picky and hard to please (at least everyone I've ever known thinks so) but I think I am also upfront and honest. I told Mark that I would be his toughest bride and he would be my B*@#*! He laughed and now I can laugh with him! Mark you were my best vendor and so much fun to work with! I can say from the bottom of my heart that I highly recommend you to any bride getting married in 2012! Also congratulations on your selection for the celebrity shoot;)

    More than words Mark;) I think my hubby would have married you if I didn't marry him first...LOL! I teased him about the "bromance" but to tell you the truth we both had a little crush on you for making us look sooooo hot;> On a serious not ladies, I fully endorse Mark and other than the quackjob that left the bad review here you can easily see why! Mark couldn't be lower than a 4.5 in anyone's book even on his worst day! Just look at his portfolio then compare it to your friends and you will see what I'm saying!

    Don't Hire Mark...Unless you want perfect wedding pictures:-} He is very professional and creative. Romantic, Seductive, Classy, Unique, and most important memorable is how I would describe our photos. Thank you Mark!

    OK, I was another vendor at this wedding and Mark did a stand up job! The wacko bridezilla that left the 1 star review didn't pay me for months! She turned psycho when I asked her to pay for the extra time I had to charge for. I'm not mentioning my real name or business because she will try and ruin me like she did here with Mark. She claims she never left another bad review but just look at her profile on Yelp and Google! Don't blame Mark, I work with so many other photographers each season and have been doing this for 15 years. Mark is easily in the Top 3 if not the top in the area! Just because your having trouble paying your bill don't blame the professionals that helped make your wedding day so perfect...or at least that's what you said at the time!

    Mark asked me to leave a review for him in response to some other brides from last year. I find it interesting that I looked on Marks profile and saw a 1 star review...In my wildest dreams I could not imagine Mark with a negative review. He called us back timely, answered emails, and took some of the most amazing shots ever. Mark worked extra time during the wedding even though he had another shoot the next day. Mark was so good that I recommended him to my friends in Bend and he went over and took photos for their business. Then they were so happy that they recommended him and Mark now is shooting Central Oregon businesses quite often. A true photographer with great range! He is a true class act!

    Extremely adaptable, professional, and a hard worker. I am probably one of three men leaving a review on the site so I'll say to all you brides out there, Mark made me look good which isn't easy to do! With that being said he can make anyone look good and I mean it! Thanks for being easy to work with and working through all of our changes! 6 Star for sure!

    Mark, We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Because of you, we have hundreds of memories that will last a lifetime. You captured our day in a way that nobody else could have, in the most creative and artistic fashion. You absolutely went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy and satisfied, and we were, more than you even know. You made us feel comfortable and special throughout the entire process.     Professional, punctual, and easy to work with is how I would describe Mark! He really made our wedding seem surreal on video and with his photos. I would say he is a professional to the highest level and we could not be more pleased looking back. Mark may not be the cheapest but the saying is you get what you pay for and it is so true! We have a few friends that are less than happy with how their wedding photos and videos turned out. It's one of those places we are happy we spent a little extra for. The price difference seems so miniscule now:)

    5 STARS ALL THE WAY!

    I had attended a few wedding shows, been referred to photographers by wedding venues, etc…but never found the connection I was looking for. A wedding is a special event, meant to celebrate and honor your love; I couldn’t just hire any random photographer to capture that moment.

    Then, I found Mark Longstreet Photography. I was referred to him by a co-working in the midst of her wedding planning. She used his services for her engagement shoot and was so impressed; she booked him for her wedding.

    Between my busy work and family schedule, I was trying to plan a wedding…needless to say, I need flexibility. I was ecstatic when Mark was willing to meet me at my work during my lunch break to discuss package options discuss the wedding location, theme, date/times, possible photography packages, etc. He was very professional and came to the meeting prepared with samples, money saving ideas and so on. He was so easy to talk to and I felt he understood my needs/wants. Finally I found my photographer!!

    Working with Mark prior to the wedding was a synch. There wasn’t a lot of back and forth communication necessary for us prior to the wedding as we had worked out most the details during our initial meeting and when signing our contract. As I said before, this was a very busy time for me and the last thing I wanted was to have to continuously be in contact with my vendors. We set up a payment plan and scheduled a meeting for a week prior to the wedding at the venue to finalize all photograph opportunities, wedding schedule, and my “must have” photos. It was great to see Mark “in action” at the venue, he came up with some great photo ideas; ones that I never had would have thought to do. Truth be told, his creative ideas are some of my favorite photos from that day.

    The day of the wedding; Mark and an assistant photographer arrived on time were well dressed, extremely professional, and polite to my wedding party, other vendors and guests.

    Our pre ceremony photo shoot was amazing, so much fun, interactive and well…real. Mark didn’t have us pose in awkward fake forced pictures. Everything about the experience, even for my husband who dislikes getting his picture taken, felt so natural and easy going.

    For our ceremony, it was important that the photographers do not become a distraction or block any of my guests. Mark and his assistant photograph were very respectful to my wishes and still managed to get great shots!

    The reception photos all turned out great and are so much fun to look at. They show me the story of our wedding from the point of view of a guest. They also expose some fun and silly things my guests were up to!

    After all was done, Mark had my digital album ready for viewing by the date promised. He was a pleasure to work with and I couldn’t be happier with the pictures. I would recommend his service to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.

    Dear Mark
    There are not enough words to express our thanks to you for capturing our wedding with top notch professionalism, unbeatable creativity, and outright fun. Finding a quality professional photographer, let alone an affordable one, is very difficult. Thankfully, you provided that and so much more. The countless time you spent preparing and compiling our photographs into a picture perfect story of our love is amazing. We even had the chance to take beach photographs, and the fact that both photographers were literally up to their waists in freezing cold water for extended periods of time, showed just how far you were willing to go for that perfect shot. Everyone who sees our photos are overly impressed and ask, where were they when I got married?

    Thank you for all youve done for us, we will be thanking you for a lifetime and as our family grows we look forward to the possibility of having you capture more of our special moments.

    I feel terrible it has taken me so long to write this review. Mark was wonderful! He and his assistant at our wedding provided so many amazing and memorable photos that we never anticipated when we were looking for a photographer. Plus we did a trash the dress at the Oregon Coast and he had a friend who did a video in addition to the photos and we absolutely LOVED both!! Mark is very easy to work with and so creative! The only thing I would say to future brides is if you want a more traditional wedding photo tell him that to make sure you get it. We did not tell him anything, and while we got amazing photos there was not a traditional bride and groom photo that you'd submit to the paper for an announcement for example. But in the big scheme of things my husband and I didn't care about that vs having non staged fun photos of us enjoying our day.

    Mark is a great guy, but he is not easy to communicate with. If you want to get ahold of him, plan on calling him. He does not email well and he is slow to respond to voicemail. We had an interesting experience with him for our engagement shoot and had to have a second session which left me a little worried for the wedding. However, he pulled it together and took some really amazing pictures! He also is reasonably priced and will provide a second photographer (I recommend asking for Wendy). Another bonus is that he will travel just about anywhere! Beware - he does like beautiful confident people, so if you do not enjoy having your picture taken, maybe Mark isn't your guy!

    Mark's pictures are wonderful, but he needs a secretary or something to keep track of all of his brides for him. He isn't very organized at all. However, all that aside, he delivered some beautiful pictures- not sure if they are anything someone else couldn't have done though.

    Great start and a quick decline

    We liked Mark right away. He is charming, friendly and from the work, he showed us, we assumed he would be a great photographer, His work from our engagement shoot was amazing. He gave clear directions, told us when we made a funny face, took multiple of each shot just in case, all the things a professional photographer should do. If I was rating him just on that one day he would receive five stars easily. Then the wedding day happened and none of that professionalism was there. We asked for a photo with myself, my wife and my dad only, that never happened. My brother who is also a photographer quickly noticed he was only taking one shot per family pose (in most cases not all), thus we are stuck with photos of people making a funny face because he didn't bother to take any more shots. During the wedding, he never tried for any close-up photos, so the majority of the photos are of either the back of my head or the back of my wife's head. After the wedding, we went with him to do a private shoot, in which case he never once told me that maybe I should put my jacket back on or that the back of my shirt had become undone. During the cocktail hour, he spent more time shooting people play Jenga then of people dancing or of the guest. He also spent a good portion of time sitting down on the sideline not taking any photos at all. When it came time for him to leave he told us the photos would be ready within three weeks. Great! That would be amazing and very fast. We heard nothing from him. At five weeks we emailed him, heard nothing. Emailed again the next week and heard from his partner, not him. We are now at 8 weeks today and I have still not heard anything from him, even though the photos are on his website. He has failed to call or email us once during the last two months and of the many photos he did take, I can say we maybe only like a few and none from the ceremony. Paying 2000 for him alone we expected more. I would not recommend him and I regret hiring him in the first place. Not worth the money. If we hear from him after this, maybe I will update the review but I am not holding my breath on that one.
