So let me start by saying the food was fantastic! They were able to combine my cajun roots with my husbands Italian background. The chef was even able to work on the jambalaya recipe with me. The rehearsal dinner at the Café Adelaide was perfect as well. I also liked that me and my husband had someone from the wait staff assigned to us at the reception to make sure we were ok, they were amazing!
I was not on the other hand impressed with catering management. They are hard to get in touch with, are not there on time, forgets appointments made, and even did not show up until 2 hours before my wedding. For a bride, having the wedding coordinator there makes you obviously more comfortable. If for some reason she was not going to be there at the time she said she would be there, they should have someone in place to talk to the bride and let them know everything wont be left to be done at last minute. Instead I had to have one of my bridesmaids go down to the reception hall and make sure everything was set up correctly. They even wanted to charge us 1.5K more (THE DAY OF THE WEDDING) for using the outdoor area for the ceremony, even though this was in the contract and discussed in the initial consultation. Even the timing of the wedding was not done as was asked, and therefore we missed out on things.
I would recommend this venue for a rehearsal dinner, but until management gets figured out how to handle logistics and making the most stressful day of the brides life peaceful, I would not recommend it for your wedding.
