I really did my homework with all the vendors, and this was based on a recommendation.
I was really disappointed, and many guests mentioned their disappointment too.
I only spoke with the owner, Daniel Parrish, during the whole planning experience. Not once did he mention that he would not be the one doing the wedding. I only booked him because a friend said specifically HE was good.
I don't know if it would have made a difference, but would have been nice to know before someone I never met showed up at the wedding.
The music was SO LOW at the ceremony I could not hear my processional or recessional. My bridesmaids could not hear the music either (volume) and did not know when to walk as a result.
The recessional music (supposed to be loud, happy) was so faint it felt awkward.
He did not play music at all during dinner (was just sitting there) until my husband went and asked him to.
A groomsman had to go to him minutes later to ask him to play it louder because no one could hear (someone said it was so low it sounded like it was coming from a neighbor's house!)
When we were announced, the music was so low that it did not have the "energy" you'd expect for a grand entrance....instead it was awkward again.
The timing of our song requests was weird. For example, my sister requested a fast dance song and it was played during cocktail hour....would have made WAY more sense to play later in the event.
THIS WAS OUR ONLY VENDOR DISAPPOINTMENT. WE WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS VENDOR.
