Dream come true

Wow, wow, wow! Laura made all my dreams come true, but bigger and better than I ever could have imagined. Laura is a true visionary. She comes to the table with so many ideas, and she's so enthusiastic about her work -- the energy is infectious. On top of that, she's professional, resourceful, creative, and so kind. I absolutely loved working with her, every step of the way. In terms of the florals for the day, she really listened to what I was asking for, but then elevated it, expanded upon it, and exceeded any expectation I had. Florals were the most important part of the wedding to me, so in the process of finding Laura, I spoke with five other florists. Laura was willing to help us make the best decisions for our budget, she thought outside the box and created an installation on the ceiling of the venue that had never been done before, and she had great ideas for how to tie everything together in terms of linens, candles and other rentals. Hire her! Work with her! Let her make your dreams come true, too.

Highly Recommend!

I highly recommend Laura Clare! She was one of the first vendors I booked and I couldn't be happier with her and her team. I saw photos of a wedding she did at our venue and knew right away. Her work is absolutely beautiful! She was responsive and so easy to work with. The flowers were stunning! We also used mirrors, candles, votives, etc. through her. It was so nice we were able to add these on as well. I highly recommend using Laura! We will definitely use her again in the future!

Incredible Flowers!! Incredible to Work With!!

Using Laura Clare Design for my daughter’s recent wedding the best decisions we could have made!! What Laura and her team created resulted in the most beautiful atmosphere, and they were a delight to work with from start to finish! We saw come to life exactly what the bride and groom had envisioned. The flowers and design for the ceremony space were spectacular. The dinner tables looked so lovely, and Laura added little touches based on her keen design eye that really made the difference. Our 200 guests gushed to us without exception about the flowers. Laura herself was fantastic and so easy to work with from the first meeting (and very helpful detailed proposal she sent shortly after) through the design process and then executing flawlessly on the wedding day. She was very responsive whenever we reached out to her, and gave us as much time as we needed. I cannot recommend Laura and her team more highly!!!

Friendly, Flexible, and Wonderful! Thank you!

Laura Clare and her A+ team were incredible to work with. Leading up to the event, Laura & Drew were attentive and listened carefully to our requests and opinions, especially when we saw the first trial of our arrangements and wanted to go in a different direction. When it came to budget, Laura was incredibly accomodating and offered many different options for our price range.

A few days before the wedding, we were suddenly expecting rain on our wedding day. We quickly needed to pivot and think of alternatives to our outdoor ceremony at a gazebo. Laura was able to put my mind at ease and create a beautiful, intimate arrangement underneath the venue's tented area. We ended up loving this direction so much more than what we were planning with the gazebo! Yay!

During the reception, we kept getting compliments about how well the florals fit our venue. The tall reception arrangements were beautiful, and they matched perfectly with the DIY arrangements my bridesmaids worked on together. Laura even offered us matching candles for the DIY centerpieces so that everything felt cohesive. For our sweetheart table, we were able to strategically reuse the ceremony florals, which ended up being the perfect size for our table.

It was an absolute joy to work with Laura Clare. She is incredibly professional. Although I was nervous about the weather, I knew that I could trust her (and her team!) to make our day a beautiful one. Thank you for everything. :)

Laura Clare brought my summer wedding to life!

We had a summer wedding in July 2022. This review is long overdue.

Laura Clare helped bring our wedding vision to life! When we were reviewing florists to work with, she was kind, helpful, and not pushy from the very start. Others we met with immediately tried to upsell us.

I (bride) didn’t know where to begin, and she provided wonderful recommendations for our particular venue (e.g., colors, vibe) which we gladly followed through with. Everything was perfect: bouquet, corsages and boutonnieres for the groom/wedding party, crowns for the flower girls, ceremony arch, table arrangements, and cake flowers. The ending result was amazing! The photos speak for themselves.

Please don’t hesitate to work with Laura and her team! They use great tech to help you visualize what you're getting and see pricing holistically as well.

Beautiful! Lovely to work with! Accommodating! Creative, attentive to details…need I say more?
My daughter wanted a unique look for her bouquet and it was done. She wanted a beautiful chuppah..it was done.

My husband and I hired Laura Clare for our wedding, which was held on 12/19/2021 at the Olde Mill Inn. Laura Clare was able to be flexible when we changed our wedding date from 2022 to 2021. Overall, she and her design team made the whole planning process easy. She executed my vision for a Phantom of the Opera themed wedding perfectly within my budget. From the ceremony and reception décor to my beautiful bouquet and cake flowers...we could not have been happier.

Laura Clare

We booked Laura Clare in 2019 for our 2020 wedding after looking at many florists. Laura understood our vision best and worked within our budget. We felt most comfortable with her knowledge and amazing portfolio.

As most 2020 couples, we were forced to postpone our wedding to 2021 and Laura was very easy to work with during that process. She honored our contract and we moved forward with our July 2021 date.

A month before our wedding, Laura put together a centerpiece mock up for us and we sat down to go over the details of our day. Everything was beautiful and we were able to re group after two years of planning.

Finally the big day came and the flowers were stunning. They were fluffy, in the perfect blooms and colors, and everything we had hoped for. It really added the romance we were looking for. We loved working with Laura and cannot recommend her enough. She took care of everything for us and her creativity and talent are unmatched. Thanks for everything Laura!

Highly Recommend!

When I was first recommended to Laura, I notice Wedding Wire gives like a "Typical Price" and that turned me off, but I really loved Laura's style and website so I gave her a call. I am very glad we did because Laura was a pleasure to work with. She made us feel very comfortable and was flexible with us every step of the way. As a Bride who got married in 2020, believe me when I say that flexibility, experience, and a vendor who is down to earth is very important. Wedding planning is STRESSFUL, but having Laura as our florist was not. She is awesome and I highly recommend her.

Incredibly Magical!

Working with Laura Clare was an incredible experience. She became by far my favorite vendor to work with throughout the process of planning my wedding. She had an incredible sense of design and her creative collaboration with both us and her team was an experience I will value forever. Laura Clare and her team were excellent at communication, very receptive to feedback, and clearly able to work with ANY environment. Our wedding was at our home and built and designed literally from the ground up. She created a world that transformed our space and carried our guests to a very unique and special place on our wedding day. Amazing Florist!

Laura was absolutely AMAZING! She is very professional, fun and sweet, and passionate about her work. She really worked hard with me (after sending her many pictures and emails of my ideas) because I wanted a wildflower style that was less traditional. The day of the wedding, she arrived with EXACTLY what I was hoping for. My bouquet and my bridesmaids' bouquets were gorgeous. The flowers throughout the church and venue were stunning and really captured the rustic fall season colors. Definitely book Laura, you will not regret it!

A great experience, start to finish

Everything about Laura Clare Design was excellent -- they have a fabulous eye, are very professional, and were incredibly easy to work with. Emily was excellent: she understood our aesthetic right away and helped us translate it into flowers (not a language I speak naturally!). She was very open about what kinds of flowers and arrangements would work -- for the season, the space, and our budget. And she was creative about suggesting things we hadn't thought of. I should also say that the whole company is incredibly professional and efficient. We planned the initial phase of the wedding while living in a different country, and they were great about communicating with the bride's mom (who lived closer) and then me and my wife once we were finally stateside. Emily and the team also did a fabulous job of setting up the flowers and candles under less than perfect conditions: despite an earlier event running late at our venue (and still doing breakdown when Emily arrived!), they never lost their cool, and executed a perfect look for us.

A Dream Come True

Laura was not only an incredible florist, but she always made me feel SO special. She genuinely loves weddings and her passion and excitement are contagious. I described my vision for flowers and decor and Laura and her team made it come to life even more beautifully than I dreamed! Random strangers in the hotel and walking by our photos on the waterfront in Hoboken stopped in their tracks to gush over the bouquets! I could not ever say enough beautiful things. As a wedding professional (Maitre D'/Wedding Coordinator) I knew from the moment I started planning my wedding how important my vendors would be for a smooth wedding day. Having seen Laura Clare's work for years and knowing how creative and innovative she and her team are, there was no one else I could have trusted to make my wedding dreams come true!!! Laura and her team put together absolutely beautiful arrangements for my December wedding. Laura understood my vision from the very beginning and did a great job of building on it to make everything even more amazing than I could have pictured! My bouquet, 11 bridesmaids' bouquets, 10 boutonnieres and 2 wristlets were perfectly arranged and captured the holiday-wedding spirit. We had high and low centerpieces that guests were raving about (and taking!). Evergreens, reds, whites, maroons, with touches of silver and lanterns that were exactly what I had wanted. Laura even went above and beyond to create a wood structure with lights and organza that stood behind us during our ceremony and then later behind our sweetheart table. I gave her a brief idea of what I had been thinking, but she made it absolutely perfect. Laura was absolutely fantastic to work with and has such vision. I can not recommend her and her team highly enough!

Laura and her team are the epitome of professional, creative geniuses. I came to Laura with a specific concept and theme for my wedding flowers and escort card display that incorporated vintage books and card catalog drawers. I said to her, "I want the table to look as if Anne Shirley stumbled upon a library in a secret garden." Her response was "Ohhh I totally got you girl." She just took it from there and the display was everything I could have imagined and more.
Laura and her team also did such an incredible job with our bridal party table which incorporated hanging tealights in glass terrariums; it looked like stars floating in midair! I was also so appreciative of Laura accommodating my work schedule and commute when it came for sample meetings and dropping off props. She is so friendly and you can tell that she really enjoys what she does and takes great pride in her business. I would absolutely work with her again.

I was beyond thrilled with the way the flowers came out! Simply stunning arrangements. All of the flowers especially the centerpieces exceeded all of my expectations! When I saw the flowers on the day of my wedding I was blown away by how absolutely beautiful they were. I couldn’t stop staring at the flowers the whole night! Our guests were amazed and pointed out how they were absolutely perfect for our venue. Even the staff was amazed! We were so pleased with Laura Clare design from the moment we met with her. She is very knowledgeable, creative and accommodating. Even when we called her just a few weeks before our wedding with last minute changes she was very quick to respond and make the changes to our arrangements almost immediately. We got married in May 2017, and chose Laura Clare as our florist. Laura is wonderful and her floral designs were absolutely beautiful. When we first met Laura, she spent so much time with us discussing our vision for the wedding and our likes and dislikes. We spoke to several other florists and Laura was the most patient and reasonably priced. She cared about our budget and tried to find ways to help us save some money while still keeping our vision. We ordered bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, flowers for the cocktail hour tables, flowers down the aisle for the ceremony and a Chuppah. She was so understanding when we changed our minds a few times as it got closer to the wedding. We met with her again about a month before the wedding so that she could review with us everything we ordered and show us a mock up of the centerpieces. We had sent her a picture of something we liked and Laura made it so much more beautiful. Laura spent over two hours with us that day going through all of the details in preparation for the wedding. When we saw all of the flower arrangements and the Chuppah the day of the wedding, we were amazed. They were absolutely gorgeous, better than we ever imagined - she far surpassed our expectations and wishes. Many of our guests commented how beautiful they were. We loved working with Laura and recommend her highly.

I have to admit, I struggled with finding the right florist for our wedding for months. Everyone I contacted wasn’t willing to work within our budget and really made the wedding planning process such a drag. It wasn’t until a few months before my wedding that I found Laura Clare through one of my co-workers recommendation. I immediately reached out and set up a meeting in her Bernardsville shop. Laura was so warm and bubbly – she was such a breath of fresh air and truly such a pleasure to work with.

She has such an enthusiasm and talent for floral design. I brought her many photos from Pinterest (probably too many!) for brainstorming floral ideas and every idea I had she topped with a better one! Her suggestions were great – she brought my vision to life. She even had great suggestions for décor elements like chairs and candles. She truly understood the vibe I was going for and made the entire planning process so seamless and most importantly, fun!

Laura made our ceremony unforgettable. She delivered the most stunning flowers and decor I have ever seen – she truly exceeded above and beyond my expectations! She was even lovely at answering my many emails (often changing flowers or coming up with different ideas closer to our date) and made sure the flowers for the day were exactly what we had imagined. I highly recommend Laura Clare!

I knew that Laura was going to be our florist from the moment that I saw her display at the Olde Mill Inn’s Wedding Showcase. Laura’s use of candles, elegant white flowers, and gold, glass, and silver candlestick holders and vases took my breath away. I absolutely loved the centerpieces, classic winter bouquets, boutonnieres, and cake decorations that Laura created for our wedding. Laura understood my vision of creating an elegant and intimate wedding reception, and effectuated everything perfectly! I could not be happier that Laura was our florist, and highly recommend her!

From our first meeting, we know Laura was our florist! We knew that we wanted a vintage vibe and had an idea of what we were looking for but, we definitely needed her expertise to guide us. It was so much fun brainstorming with Laura to come up with ideas for the centerpieces and bouquets. She made appropriate suggestions, never trying to upsell. I felt totally comfortable with her recommendations.
The day of wedding proved to be amazing! Everything was perfect and beyond my expectations. My bouquet was stunning and I had so many compliments. The centerpieces were gorgeous and unique. My guest couldn't stop talking about them. In fact, there was fierce competition to take them home!
I have read that some brides feel they should have spent less on flowers. I felt it was worth every penny!

Working with Laura was incredibly easy and comfortable from the start. Initially I really wasn't sure what I wanted and threw out some ideas. Laura listened carefully and provided her own suggestions. At our second meeting I had a better idea of what I was looking for and had my own suggestions, some of which were not great, and I was happy and appreciative of her honesty in what she thought would and would not work. As I became more clear in my vision, Laura continued to listen and work to apply it. The end result was beautiful. I was in love with the bouquets and table settings which included both flowers and pillar candles. Whether you have a strong vision, or none at all, I would highly recommend Laura Clare Designs. She may very well be the kindest and easiest vendors you will work with!

Laura did an AMAZING job for our wedding this past weekend!!

We met with a few florists, mostly in NYC, before we decided to go with Laura (our wedding was in NJ anyway). The city florists all asked for our budget first, and said things like "well, we may not be able to do this or that." However, from our first meeting with Laura, she was spitting out even MORE ideas for us. She had a similar vision for our wedding centerpieces, and once we told her our budget, she was able to work with it right away. Even when things didn't go as planned for us (more tables than we anticipated), Laura was able to work it out for us so that we would still be within our budget.

She was very easy to get along with, but we didn't even need to spend that much time with her because she made it very easy for us. We met for the first time to go over ideas, and met one more time for her to show us a mock set up of the tables. We wanted to go with the winter theme with blooming quince branches with white flowers. One of the florist in NYC (who received great reviews!) told us that February is not in season for quince and that he may be able to get us pink flowers instead of white flowers--but that wasn't what we wanted. Laura made it happen for us, and on the day of the wedding, I was absolutely floored with how beautiful the centerpieces were. She promised me most of the buds on the branches would bloom and they did! It was so beautiful, and it was EXACTLY what I had in mind. The guests all loved the centerpieces and couldn't wait to take some of the flowers home.

I would definitely recommend having Laura as your florist. If by first meeting, you feel like she understands your vision, then put your full trust in her because she did an amazing job. She's very reasonably priced, and willing to work with you to make sure you stay within budget, but still have your dream centerpieces. It was an absolute pleasure to have her as our vendor, we can't thank her enough for her hard work!

When my mom and I first met with Laura for our consultation, I knew right away that Laura understood my vision. I brought a lot of pictures for inspiration, but with Laura’s experience and expertise, I didn’t even need the pictures! She knew exactly the ambiance I wanted to create and had so many amazing ideas that I would have never thought of myself. Floral design was something that was really important to me and I remember walking into the ballroom on my wedding day and could not have been happier with Laura’s flawless execution. Everything that we discussed was perfectly arranged and beyond anything I ever imagined! So many people commented on our centerpieces and I forgot to mention that the bouquets (both mine and my bridesmaids) were also beautiful and so unique. Laura is truly an artist and amazing at what she does. I highly recommend choosing her for your big day. Not only was she so easy and nice to work with, but she will go above and beyond your expectations to ensure your wedding flowers are perfect!

I absolutely loved working with Laura as our florist. Right away, she got what I was looking for, even though I was describing things in far less than technical terms. She added such incredible texture to our flowers and non-floral elements and was really able to turn what I originally pictured into something breathtaking!!!

There are not enough good things that can be said about Laura and our wedding flowers! She was a pleasure to work with, and always so calm in what can sometimes be a stressful time. Laura was truly amazing -- she took the time to really understand what we wanted our wedding to look and feel like, and perfectly translated our vision into breathtaking floral arrangements! Our guests were amazed when they arrived and blown away by the flowers (I think we even heard "oooh-ing" and "aaaah-ing!"). We could not have been happier! Thank you!

Yup, best decision I ever made! Can't go wrong when you work with Laura. As I mentioned in some of my WW reviews, my wedding preps were manic as I was moving from London to be with my future husband. I contacted Laura while still in London and first visited her about 2 weeks before the big day (!!). I had an idea of what I wanted the decor to be like, but all we did was exchange a few emails. To my surprise the proposal I got from Laura was spot on! I think I raved about it to my friends and family for a couple of weeks. I wanted to use some of my own props and decorations and Laura was more than happy to accommodate; this also helped bring my total cost down. The big day decor was perfect; I wanted modest rustic decorations with elements of blue and the final result was stunning. I couldn't part with my centerpieces so I took them home to decorate our place. Our bouquets were beautiful and I am drying them out as keepsakes! :) The groom and his party were well impressed with the boutonnieres they got, made out of thistle and herbs...my dad-in law preserved his! Laura made the process so incredibly easy for me; she answered all of my questions and offered solutions. All this was done during the pre-Christmas madness which was a busy period for her salon. I consider myself very lucky to have met Laura, can't thank you enough! :)

I would like to share with everybody how wonderful job Laura did with the flower arrangements for my wedding. I always dreamed to have small, intimate, romantic wedding and flowers to be the reflection of it. I asked Laura to create flower arrangements in ivory and pink shades to bring my plan to life. She did absolutely amazing job. My bouquet was just beautiful. Laura used a few kinds of roses, hydrangea, dahlias. My mom, who I always considered as a person with a great taste but at the same time very difficult to impress with anything, was thrilled when she saw the flowers Laura made for me.
Laura is a very easy, friendly, calm ( I believe very important quality in this stressful time) person to work with. She is open to listen to your ideas and ready to make your dreams come true. She also stayed on budget which was very important for me. If you are looking for somebody to create something beautiful for reasonable money, you found the right person in Laura.

I am very satisfied with my experience with Laura Clare, Floral Design & Event Decor. We had a small wedding of under 50 people at the Olde Mill Inn and, from our first meeting, Laura made me feel that my wedding was just as important as her large wedding parties. You can see that she has a "spark" for what she does, not just the traditional arrangements, with the same old flowers. While being enthusiastic, creative and artistic, she is also well organized, budget conscious, and detail oriented. If you are interested in something different, she has a lot of suggestions that you can use or not... I appreciated hearing about all the options, within my budget! I was open to having some non traditional touches, so Laura incorporated dried leaves in vibrant fall colors in the cocktail hour arrangements, purple kale and berries in the centerpieces, and white kale "roses" in the bouquet. I still can't believe how many pictures of the table arrangements were posted on facebook the next day! Everyone was raving about all of the flowers. If you are thinking of checking out Laura Clare for your wedding or event, I would encourage you to do so! You won't regret it, I know I didn't!

Laura Clare provided the floral designs for our October wedding and everything was beautiful!! At first I was concerned about whether all my vendors were on the same page as me in terms of what I wanted and what they could provide - but once I saw Laura Clare's arrangements I couldn't be happier. Everything was lush, and full, and perfect! She understood the concept completely and brought it all to life. She was ALWAYS excited and friendly, which goes a long way when meeting with vendors while wedding planning. It kept me excited and when I saw it come together on the day of , I was astonished at what her and her team accomplished. I have been to weddings where the flowers don't make it through the night or the arrangements look sparse - not the case with Laura Clare. Everything was elegantly presented and looked bright and full throughout the event. Not enough can be said about Laura's "CAN DO" attitude and how KNOWLEDGEABLE she is, her eye is unequivocal and she really brings her style to every event. Her hardwork really paid off and we received a ton of compliments on everything!

I have only the nicest things to say about Laura Clare and her beautiful floral work. If I could recommend her to every single bride out there, I would. She was absolutely incredible, nailing every single detail we discussed, and going above and beyond to satisfy our wedding vision. She worked within our budget, and she produced the most beautiful centerpieces we had ever seen. Even though we had been planning our wedding for over two years, three months prior to our wedding date, our venue closed. We scrambled to find a new space, and once we did, we had to revision all of the floral work to match the new venue. Laura helped us every step of the way. She really went above and beyond to make our day special and create floral pieces to remember. She was an absolute pleasure to work with, and I definitely recommend her to anyone and everyone.

I found Laura through CocoLuxe, the baker who did our wedding cake, and I can see why she was so highly recommended. I was completely blown away when I saw the bouquet she created for me -- even adding "something blue" when I told her I still needed that. And the boutonnieres she came up with for my groom and his best man were equally creative. So glad we worked with her -- and that she wanted to design for us!

I had an incredible experience with them; Sam was incredibly professional and very easy to communicate with from abroad. She worked with me to carefully construct my ideas, very flexible and open to what I wanted. My proposal included different floral arrangements, handmade floral necklaces, and lighting~ all created with beautiful sensitivity to color, textures, shapes, and install. They were very patient and positive with extremely high quality. I felt their work complemented the venue without overwhelming it, quality with aesthetics I admired! Really helped make our wedding atmosphere gorgeous and memorable!

Being a designer myself, I paid close attention to details of our wedding. Laura Clare is truly a professional at her craft and she made it easy to create a beautiful theme for our New York City wedding.

Laura Clare is pleasure to work with, very accommodating with our requests and listened to our ideas. Her knowledge in floral design was breath of fresh air, I didn’t need to stress or worry if the arrangements would be what we imagined.

We had an early October wedding and Laura Clare set a romantic and sophisticated atmosphere to evoke the glamour of early 20th century “Gatsby Era” utilizing pink, creamy whites, champagne, and blush with a pops of plum and orange to bring in the fall season. Lush garden roses, hydrangeas, dahlias, orchids, Picasso calla lilies, and the sweetly scented gardenias were used to achieve the desired look. Candlelight was also added to the romance of the day.

I actually hired Laura Clare for my Bridal shower as well. She created gorgeous summer inspired arrangements that were set in birdcages as the centerpieces. I actually had guests fighting over who would take one home!

I thanked Laura Clare over and over for making our wedding day absolutely gorgeous. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the final results.

We recently had a small intimate wedding at Ninety Acres @ Natirar and the event was planned and executed within 5 weeks. We were so thankful that Laura agreed to do our event with short notice; she was so wonderful to work with and could not have been more lovely, helpful and accommodating. In one meeting, she was able to take our limited knowledge of flowers, wedding decor and colors we liked and recommend an entire plan for both our ceremony and reception. Laura was always helpful and calm even as we tweaked the plan over the next couple weeks. Even though we knew how beautiful her work was beforehand, we were still amazed at how stunning everything was on that day; her elegant and chic yet organic creations perfectly set the tone for our wedding! We could not recommend a better partner to work with for such an integral part of any wedding!

Laura Clare did a stunning job with all of my flowers. I went into our first appointment with a general idea of what I wanted but nothing specific and I walked out of there feeling like Laura figured out exactly the vibe I was going for and gave me wonderful suggestions for what types of arrangements to go with.

I didn't want to spend a ton of money on flowers and she was able to give me everything I wanted within my budget. A few weeks before the wedding we went over mock-ups of the bouquet and centerpieces which was extremely helpful to be able to visualize what everything would look like. I also wanted a non-white bridal bouquet, and Laura did an amazing job making it still feel romantic and bridal. I would absolutely recommend Laura Clare to anyone looking for gorgeous wedding flowers.

I got married two weeks ago and worked with Jennifer who was absolutely amazing. We sent her some pictures of styles we liked for the bouquets and traditional garlands and what she pulled together was beyond our expectations. In addition, the night before the ceremony we needed some last minute table arrangements, not only was she able to answer our emails she was able to pull through with gorgeous centerpieces. I highly recommend Laura Clare Designs (ask for Jennifer) and will definitely be using them for our reception later this year.

Working with Laura Clare in many respects made my wedding. From the first time we met with Laura I was confident she would make our wedding beautiful in ways I had never even thought of. That proved true over the course of planning where she was always willing to provide additional recommendations, assistance or feedback if requested and finally on the day. My entire experience with Laura Clare was just exceptional! During the first meeting with Jenn to discuss our wedding flowers, I knew that we would be in good hands! She was so knowledgeable, personable, and enthusiastic. We chose to have flowers of deep plum/burgundy/wine colored hues and Jenn had so many great recommendations and ideas for the different types of flowers and textures; she truly turned my vision into something even more beautiful than I could even imagine. From my absolutely beautiful bouquet and the flowers at the church to the gorgeous centerpieces and fresh flowers on our cake, we could not have been more pleased! We were especially grateful that Jenn managed to finalize our order and accommodate us despite the power outage during the week of our wedding! Everything was so beyond amazing for our wedding using Laura Clare! The compliments on the flowers are still coming in! They were the most beautiful I have ever ever seen and I had multiple people tell me the same thing!!! The colors, the textures, just so beyond perfect! A thousand times beyond my expectations! My bouquet was so stunning, I wanted it to last forever after the wedding!

Jenn was so amazing to work with too!!! It was really such a pleasure and she went above and beyond to help me with linens and give her opinion on colors and everything. I could not have done it without her!!

Guests thought the flowers on the arch were fake because they were soo beautiful! I could go on all day!! The quality of all of the flowers really show through and the design was impeccable!

Laura Clare made our wedding ceremony and reception special with the selection of flowers and decor she helped us design. She is passionate and dedicated to getting every detail perfect. I came to her with a very general idea of what direction I wanted to go and she took it and made it better than I could have ever imagined!!! The flowers were unique and the colors were beautiful. She was accommodating with adding a certain piece of jewelry to my bridal bouquet that I would have thought to be challenging. LOVE Laura Clare. We got married June 2012 at Natirar in New Jersey and Laura made everything look magnificent. The chuppah, the entrance ways, escort table, the table-scapes, and the overall aesthetic were much more than we had envisioned and expected.

Laura was incredibly helpful at every turn and her warmth and wealth of knowledge made working with her such a pleasure. She's patient and has a high get-it factor. Clearly the proof is in the pudding and the wedding looked beautiful ... her work was spot-on.

...I want to share one quick anecdote that I think exemplifies the level of service you get with Laura... Leading up to the wedding, Laura took a trip out to our wedding venue, brought sample candles, and tested which were more likely to be blown out when the breeze from the AC kicked in. The appropriate candle and glass cover was ordered for our final table arrangements based on her experiment. ...there were countless examples of this same, thoughtful approach throughout the planning and execution process.

AMAZING!!!!

We were actually planning on using another florist - one that we had been working with for awhile, but due to a minor misunderstanding regarding the contract were not able to use them. I immediately went into a panic. We were trying to plan our wedding in a short time frame...in NJ...while we lived in Maryland. The florist was the one piece that I thought we had nailed down and when I received the email that he had booked another client that day, I went into meltdown. I immediately reached out to several florists. Laura was no doubt busy and it took some time inbetween email responses, but the outcome was beyond what I could have imagined.

She made some time on a fairly last minute notice to meet with us on one of our trips to NJ. That was the only face to face Laura & I had. I gave her a lot of pictures of my vision and she turned it so far beyond what my reality was for the look I was going for.

She was flexible....allowing us to rent what we could rent & supply what we could supply to keep our costs down. She knew our budget and worked very hard with us to stay inside of that. We kept reworking the contract until just a few days before the wedding. She was so gracious & so accomodating the entire time.

And the flowers...WOW! You know how you have in your mind exactly what you're looking for? And you find some pictures that show that, but there are still some tweaks you want done as you want it to be YOURS and not someone elses. And you know how you hope you're explaining it just perfectly so that your vision becomes theirs? With Laura, that is EXACTLY how it happened. All night long, I kept looking at the centerpieces and they took my breath away. It nearly brought me to tears so many times that night when I would look around and realize that it was exactly the way I had hoped it would be.

My only regret was that I think I scared her off of the pink as I kept stressing how I wanted very pale pink and not too much of it. I probably could have used a little more, but all of the white was still breathtaking. And one of the peonies on the cake opened up and revealed a bit more yellow than I would have liked, but gorgeous none the less!!

Laura Clare has provided the flowers and decor for all three of my daughters' bat mitzvahs and they were all completely different and perfect. One was a beach theme, another was a Paris theme, and the third was an enchanted forest. She is so much fun to work with, to brainstorm ideas. She comes up with really beautiful, creative, unique ideas, and is always open to suggestion and willing to tackle tricky issues. She also offers compromises to save money. I recommend her highly.

Laura Clare is AMAZING!! From the moment we met, I knew she was exactly who I wanted to work on my wedding design. She took my vision and made it a hundred times better! The centerpieces were spectacular, it left me speechless when I walked into the reception room. The linens she recommended were beyond perfect. And I could not stop starring at my bouquet and everything else she created. WOW!! She made the entire venue sparkle with style and elegance. So professional and flexible with all my request for changes. AND she came back after midnight to breakdown the rentals during a hurricane...now that is dedication! I HIGHLY recommend working with Laura Clare if you want the wedding of your dreams to become reality.

Laura Clare made our wedding day memorable, exquisite, and beautiful. Despite the rain and having to move the ceremony inside, the flowers looked beautiful. I am still receiving compliments on the decor and the table arrangements. I was in awe of the absolutely amazing bridesmaids bouquet and my bouquet. I asked Laura Clare to make everything a surprise and she went above and beyond my expectations. I keep looking at the pictures of our flowers from our special day. Laura Clare was extremely easy to work with and communicate with on a frequent basis. If you want your flowers and event decor done right,Laura Clare is the girl.

laura did an amazing job at our wedding. the centerpieces were absolutely breathtaking and exactly what we were looking for. laura was very accomodating during our planning process, took on some last minute requests of ours, and even went out of her way the day of the wedding, after all the set up and delivery was completed, to rush over an extra flower we needed at the last minute. she's a beautiful person inside and out.

From the moment I met Laura, I knew my wedding would be spectacular! While I had a color palette for my October wedding in my head, Laura helped bring that vision to reality. She coordinated my tastes and made wonderful recommendations. On my wedding day, everyone I know commented on how gorgeous the flowers were and wanted to know what florist I had used. If there was a rating higher than a five, Laura Clare Design would have easily earned it for their friendliness, professionaliam, and all around impeccable work.

Jennifer from Laura Clare was amazing! I had visited several florists for my wedding but none of them actually listened to what I wanted, until I met Jennifer. She had some great ideas for my tropical theme and actually listened to my thoughts and wishes. Jennifer was enthusiastic and great to work with. She was honest that it may take her time to respond to my emails due to the season but I really respected her honesty. On the day of the wedding, she delivered all of the flowers in a timely manner and did a fantastic job setting everything up. The bouquets were gorgeous, full and colorful which is exactly what I wanted. The flowers looked incredible and I received so many compliments on the flowers as well as the color scheme. I was most happy and excited to see the flowers on the escort card table. The centerpiece was exactly as I had pictured it would look. For the flowers that were on the corners of the escort card table I asked Jennifer to come up with something that fit the centerpiece. I was so happy to see what she did. It looked so incredible! My guests took the flowers home after the wedding and many people told me the flowers lasted for a very long time. My aunt told me one of the flowers actually lasted for almost two weeks, and that was without water! I would highly recommend Laura Clare and would love to work with them again if given the opportunity.

My wedding flowers and décor were beautiful and I could not have been happier with how it all turned out. Laura is an absolute joy to work with, she could not have been nicer and more accommodating. She took the time to visit the venue with me and made adjustments and tweaks to the décor plan to ensure that everything was executed perfectly. She is a true professional and really cares about her clients.

I was so happy to have found Jen and Laura Clare! Jen was wonderful and so creative - she really ran with our rustic theme and venue, and made everything so chic and beautiful. Everything just worked so organically well together, and she really saw eye-to-eye with what I had envisioned.

All our guests came up to us during or afterwards and commented on the elements and how gorgeous the flowers were. I loved the bouquets and boutonnieres they created - so perfect and different!

I only dinged them a little bit due to responsiveness. It took a little while for my emails to get a response, but that's the only minor complaint I had.

This florist was AMAZING. I knew that I wanted something unique and different, I didn't want the typical large bouquet of roses because that is not my style. I had a fall wedding and the flowers and decor that she did was beyond anything I could have expected. Even the food and beverage director asked if he could get the name of my florist because he had never seen the venue look like that before, and we had our wedding at a private club in New York City! All of the details came together from the hanging votives in amber cones of glass to the exotic flowers that a typical florist would not have used, even the table linens and the chair covers!

I looked at a couple of other florists based on some recommendations, including some very high end ones and her stuff just seemed to stand out to me. And she was so down to earth and approachable and no question was silly and it was never a bother for me to call her. With some of the other high end florists I got the impression that I would be lucky to have them be my florist as opposed to other way around. She wasn't the least expensive of my options but wasn't the most expensive either and I honestly can't imagine the ones that were crazy expensive having done a better job. I only rated cost as four star instead of a five star because my husband still has a hard time believing that flowers cost more than $100, but it was worth every penny. Everybody always says that flowers make the event and I believe it more than ever. I spent more on the flowers than on my dress, and for me, it was totally worth it!

The arrangements that we used not only doubled partially as favors but lasted for well over a week and the little vases that they were in were decorated so nicely that I've put a couple of other small plants in them.

I just can't say enough about how happy I was with the way it looked, it was beyond beautiful, and I haven't seen anything like it before or since.

Two weeks before our wedding in September 2013, we decided to switch florists and go with Laura Clare. We have no regrets. She handled our last minute order with professionalism and gave it her utmost attention and care. We asked for an English garden look to the arrangements and she delivered, she worked with our budget and she was always professional. The proof is that in all the pictures I’ve seen of the wedding so far, the flowers look magnificent. Laura is more than a florist – she is an artist - and I know this review is full of superlatives but I mean when I say that the flowers were top quality and beautifully designed.

During our first meeting with Laura Clare, it was evident that they understood the picture I had painted in my head and was attempting to describe to them. Since I don't have an extensive knowledge of flowers, they were able to pinpoint exactly the type, colors and kinds of arrangements that I had imagined. They took my ideas and made them into elegant, gorgeous classy arrangements. I LOVED my bouquet--it was lush and vibrant and so fresh. When we met with Jennifer at Laura Clare a few weeks before the wedding, she was so wonderful about going through our whole proposal and helping us to rework the centerpieces. She made a few changes that made all the difference and she made us feel so at ease and comfortable that everything would be taken care of. I felt totally calm knowing that as our ceremony was happening, they were at our reception venue working away! They also even decorated our cake and it came out beautifully. Laura Clare is truly a top notch florist--you can be sure you are getting the highest quality in flowers and service with this company!

Laura took my dreams and made them a reality on a tight budget. She made everything way nicer than expected, was very flexible when it came to arranging centerpieces and using greenery more than blooms. My bouquet, the bridesmaids' bouquets and the boutonnierres were gorgeous and I plan on preserving mine. I just really loved how she used delicate greenery to highlight the beauty of our evening spring wedding. The pictures we have seen from our photographer so far show us how lovely everything was at both the church and our reception venue. So happy with how everything turned out.

Laura provided the flowers for my daughter's bridal shower and reception. My daughter wanted a tea party theme, so we provided teapots for the shower and Laura and her team created the centerpieces. Everyone at the shower commented on how lovely the centerpieces were. The flowers lasted almost a month! She was also willing to work with my daughter on her vision for her reception centerpieces. They were just as she envisioned them! Due to the location of the wedding, we had to use a different florist for the bridal bouquet and bridesmaids flowers. After seeing what the other florist created (they were lovely and appropriate for the wedding theme) I would definitely have used Laura for the bridal bouquet and bridesmaids flowers. She was so easy to work with, and gave us wonderful ideas for the reception. I would highly recommend her for any event!

My husband and I got married on August 23rd, 2015 and used Laura Clare as our floral designer. She created our bouquets and boutonnieres along with the tablescapes for the reception and a beautiful escort card table. We loved everything and our guests could not stop talking about how gorgeous the flowers were. Laura embraced our vision and was a joy to work with. We highly recommend Laura Clare and would definitely use her in the future!

Laura created exactly what I had envisioned for the bridal party, my bouquet and the centerpieces. She did absolutely stunning work, based on all our conversations and me showing her my Pinterest clippings. I'm so in love with my bouquet that I kept it and plan on drying it and preserving it. Her florals and decor are elegant and tasteful. She is also very warm and personable. It may take several emails or texts to hear back from her, but she will give you the wedding of your dreams once the lines of communication are open. It helps that she has a Hoboken office in case Bernardsville is too far away for brides in Northern NJ

The flowers were beautiful and the designs were sophisticated. Laura and her staff listened to my ideas and preferences, and came to me with creative ideas that were in line with what I was hoping to achieve. Her pricing is excellent and the execution was flawless (or if it wasn't, my guests and I couldn't tell). That said, don't expect a lot of flexibility with respect to timing meetings -- if you're not really into micromanging the creative process and don't require too much face time, Laura Clare is unbeatable.

We used Laura Clare for our wedding and I have to say, I was disappointed in the final product. We had worked with Laura quite a bit before the wedding, even providing an outline of our vision and ideas and discussing what the day would look. She even offered ideas that we were really excited about. We were feeling really comfortable with Laura and thought she'd be the last vendor we'd have to worry about. A week before the wedding, I found out that Laura herself wouldn't be coming to set up, which I was surprised about because the entire time during the planning process, there was no discussion of this. I was a little frustrated because I never spoke with anyone except Laura and I thought that there would be details lost in translation. As frustrated as I was though, I didn't worry because I was confident in the conversations that we had throughout the entire planning process. I'm not sure what happened between our conversations and the creation of our order, but all the girls' bouquets except the maid of honor's and all of the boutonnieres were just wrong. When the flowers arrived at the location I was speechless. I asked the individual who was making the delivery for the petals for the flower girl basket and she said she left them at the reception venue for me... The alter pieces at the ceremony were beautiful and those we were very pleased with. The floral arrangements on our reception tables were not exactly what we discussed, but still beautiful. None of the flowers we received were dying or wilted, but it just wasn't our vision. Our vision was clearly presented and discussed and we thought it was understood. I reminded myself that the flowers weren't the most important part of the day and the day of, it didn't bother me. After the fact, however, I may have chosen a different florist if I had read of an experience like mine though.

Laura Clare Design provided the flowers for my wedding earlier this month. Despite the fact that I met with Sam (one of her employees who was wonderful) and made some changes to my proposal for the wedding she created ALL of the flowers based on an OLD proposal. This means that many of the flowers for my wedding were INCORRECT! I only found out that many flowers were wrong after she had already dropped them off at the venue. There was nothing I could do at that point. It was so disappointing as I truly felt Laura was a wonderful creative person who was organized. Not so!

Also, the actual flowers she provided were not quality flowers (i.e. the flowers on the end of the aisles at our ceremony were small, wilted, and pathetic looking before the ceremony even started!). Keep in mind this ceremony was not in the heat...so I'm not sure why they were so wilted. I almost took them down and threw them away they looked so bad!

Laura also takes her time in responding to you. I'd often have to send a second email before I got a response. Not great customer service when you're trying to plan a wedding and are spending over $3000 in flowers.

My advice: stay away!! You can get nicer floral arrangements at a better price elsewhere!
