I have to say Laura was by far our favorite vendor. From our first meeting, we knew we wanted to work with her and the whole thing was WONDERFUL.

Not only does Laura do stunning work, but she is extremely easy to work with and accomodating for every single thing we wanted.

For our engagement shoot we had selected a location that was 4 hours away from New Jersey...Laura drove all the way out there and stayed over night just to help us capture these unique photos. The pictures are amazing and something we will cherish forever.

AND...for our wedding, Laura and her crew were such a positive energy and calming spirit for me while I was getting ready. She was like a photographer and bridal attendant all rolled into one.

We can't stop staring at all the breathtaking images she captured from our big day.

Laura Bruen was amazingly helpful and accommodating leading up to the wedding and especially on my big day! The photographs were breath takingly beautiful and not only do we have all the portraits that you expect but we have creative pictures that helped showcase our unique personality! She also made all our guests feel comfortable we never felt that there was a lens in our face she felt like family! I would highly recommend her for anyone who wants beautiful images and a photographer who is friendly and easy to work with and goes to great lengths to get the photo! The only problem we had was which pictures to put in our album because there were just too many great ones to choose from!

From the first second I set foot into her 'office', I knew Laura was the photographer for my wedding. She was so sweet, so arty, and I loved the work she displayed. I always felt better after meeting with her.

The day of the wedding, oh my goodness, she was one of the only people who was able to keep me sane and grounded. She knew I didn't want many formal portraits done, and kept sneaking into the dancing and took lots of photos. She wasn't afraid to get down on the ground and take shots from below. She even managed to take great photos with her iPhone!

She and her sister Tori (I'm not sure if I got your name spelled correctly!) were absolutely fantastic and I will honestly miss working with her!

We saw a friends' engagement/wedding photos and said we HAD to use this photographer!! Laura is AWESOME!! She is down to earth, fun and easy to work with. We didn't want a 'typical' wedding photographer, we loved that she has an artistic and creative eye. We will definitely use her in the future when we are ready for pregnancy/baby photos :)

Laura Bruen has fantastic energy, enthusiasm, and her photography style is truly an art! I was recommended to Laura by a colleague at work with a simple comment, "you will LOVE her!" It was an understatement. Laura's focus and talent are difficult to put into words. From meeting with my husband and I she was able to sense our personalities and capture our natural love and family values in our wedding photos while effortlessly maintaining her signature flare! During our busy wedding day Laura was reliable, friendly to all of our guests, and flexible with timelines, etc. from the very beginning of the day until the end. She was able to help calm the nervous bride and her mother while still keeping up her energy to liven up the wedding party to get AMAZING photos! Laura is not a low-energy, blend into the background-type photographer... instead she is enthusiastic and creative to capture each moment of the day into beautiful piece of art. Shortly after the wedding all of our photos were available to view/ order from her website, which family LOVED as they could order their own favorite prints! Our album came out AMAZING and within good production time. My husband and I could not be happier with our decision. We highly recommend Laura Bruen!!

Plain and simple: We wanted an artist, and we got an artist. Laura was non-intrusive, professional, and most of all able to capture our wedding in exactly the fashion and style we had hoped for.

Even before I was engaged, the one thing I knew I wanted for my wedding was Laura Bruen to be my photographer. I first met Laura the day of my brother's wedding and fell in love with her style, personality and do-whatever-it-takes-to-get-the-shot attitude. When I got engaged, we decided to have a destination wedding and Laura was so excited to be a part of it! We had Laura shoot our engagement pictures which she made so much fun, we didn't even feel like we were in front of a camera. Then, for our wedding in Aruba, Laura scoped out the perfect places for photo ops days before the wedding so no time was wasted on the day of. On the big day, she made sure the beachside ceremony was set up perfectly (thank god because the chairs would have been off center if she hadn't!) in addition to taking on her role as photographer. I honestly don't know how Laura bounced around from place to place but she captured every moment from every angle to the very last dance without missing a shot! Since we had such faith in Laura's abilities, we didn't feel the need to hire a videographer, as we felt her pictures would tell our story. After choosing from hundreds of amazing pictures for our wedding DVD slideshow, we saw our story unfold just as we imagined it would! Then came the wedding album...WOW! We were blown away by the quality and artistic touch Laura put into this album. We truly have been so impressed by Laura's work that we have and will continue to refer her to friends and family, as well as use her in the future for the next big events to come!

We are so happy that we chose Laura as our wedding photographer. She is extremely talented, and really made us feel comfortable and at ease during both our engagement photos and wedding day. Our photos turned out amazing! We couldn't be happier.

Laura shot our wedding in Sept 2009 and you can see how great of a job she did from the pictures she posted on this site. From the first time we met, I knew it was an easy choice. The next time we met was at our engagement session in NYC. While we were not the easiest of clients at the start, Laura really knew how to make us at ease in front of the camera and afterwards, seeing those pictures was a true testament of her talent. The wedding was great as well. She showed up on time and ready for a day of fun. The pictures - amazing - it truly captured what a wonderful day it was for us from the excitement, to the joy, and of course the exuberant dancing. When the picture slideshow was distributed, some people saw it who were not even at the wedding and told me they got chills. Highly recommended and thank you Laura for such great memories.

I can't say enough about Laura, she was absolutely amazing from the first moment I spoke with her I knew she would be able to capture the memories of my wedding day perfectly. We had a great time the day of my wedding, my bridal party and the guests at my wedding are still raving about her. I highly recommend Laura Bruen for all of your special occassions.

Laura's work is awesome. By looking at the pictures you could tell that she was EVERYWHERE at my wedding yet she was not in your face at all. Her photo are truly beautiful and artistic - she caught shots of me at my best and happiest moments and when I got the proofs (lots of them!) it was impossible to find a bad one! Her personality matches her work, vibrant, inclusive and beautiful.

Laura Bruen can be summed up in one word- Marvelous! We were looking for a "non-traditional" package that would work within our budget. We were also looking for a photographer that would be accommodating towards a same-sex marriage. We found all that and more in Laura. She worked within our budget, hand-crafted a package that was specific to our needs, and totally catered to and welcomed our lifestyle. Her responsiveness to questions and concerns put us at ease, and we could not have asked for a better person to photograph our moments than her. We told her that we wanted moments that we would otherwise miss at the event to be showcased in the photos, and she captured the true essence of our day. Our guests raved about her, and we just couldn't be happier with our decision. We cannot wait for her to photograph our children, as well as all of the other memorable events in our lives. She is worth the investment!

Laura's services were BY FAR our most precious wedding expense. The amount of thought and creativity that she puts into her work totally exceeded my expectations. It was such a pleasure to have worked her, that I know I will always go back to her for any of my photography needs! :o)
