Maile and Niels were kind, professional, loving and above all else great photographers. We had Maile do our engagement photos before our big day and they came out gorgeous. She was able to capture our fun and goofy love in some great outdoors shots. Day of the wedding went by so fast but they were able to capture all the special moments that we'll be able to enjoy for a lifetime. Thanks to Larsen Photography we will always have a go to photographer for all those need to capture days!

This couple is amazing, they captured our wedding day perfectly. The weather conditions were not ideal, but they rocked it and made us feel comfortable the entire time. Not to mention we had the photos back before we knew it. And we LOVED the photos they selected to print for us. We walk by them in our hallway everyday. Thank you Larsens! <3 Xo

Oh where do I begin. The Larsen's were fabulous!. They were professional but down to earth. A fun husband and wife team. They made us feel comfortable and listened to what we did and didn't want. The photos were available to few about a week after the weeding and we couldn't be happier with how they turned out.

Sean and I had a wonderful experience using Maile and Niels for our wedding photography! We had a small ceremony, and weren't even convinced that we wanted to have photographers to capture our day, as we really just wanted to spend it with our guests, and not pose a million poses. One phone call with Maile, and she helped me to see how important it was to capture our special day, and all of the special memories that were made. Because the Larsens knew we were slightly photo-averse, they kept all of the poses to a minimum, and were quick and efficient about the formals - they also kept us laughing while they were working! They were not intrusive in the least, and managed to capture a great mix of formals, candids, and mood/ambiance/surroundings of our venue.

We really appreciated their flat-rate, no-nonsense pricing model as well, as it made it very easy to know exactly what we would receive for the price. Perhaps the most impressive thing was their speed of editing, and returning photos. It was thoroughly impressive, and a *rarity* among photographers. This truly makes them stand head and shoulders above the rest (I am a member of an online bride group and most of the ladies had to wait months for their photos!). I would not hesitate to give Larsen's Photography my highest recommendation!

This review is LONG overdue from our late May 2015 wedding! Words cannot express the amazing team that is Larsen’s Photography. Comprised of incredible husband and wife duo, Niels and Maile, this pair was truly an invaluable component of our special day, helping make it one of the most magical experiences of our entire lives. My husband and I knew early on we wanted a photographer tag-team if possible, to capture more ground and key moments throughout the wedding. These two, however, exceeded our wildest expectations! From the moment I reached out after admiring their stunning work online, Maile was not only super responsive, but incredibly friendly, warm, and helpful. I knew almost immediately Larsen’s was our ideal partner. Over the months leading up to the big day, Maile sent a host of thoughtful, supportive emails, and was great about walking me through all the details and providing lots of great tips and information. On the day itself, Maile and Niels helped both my husband and I stay calm, smile, and laugh—even during the most stressful moments. They really went above and beyond in every sense of the word (our guests could not get over the creative poses they displayed on the dance floor in order to get the best shots of speeches and dances!). Even after all of that, the best was yet to come. Maile worked ever so quickly to draft a beautiful photo blog profiling our day, and deliver to us a beautiful slideshow (with music!) and several discs and drives filled with countless amazing photos. Their website does not do their work justice by any means—our loved ones are still ranting and raving about how stunning the photos are! These cherished mementos are some of the only tangible elements of our wedding that will help tell our story in ways words never could for years to come. For all these reasons, we can never thank the Larsen’s enough for being such phenomenal partners whose passion for their craft is unmistakable. Highly, highly, highly recommended!!

I knew even before getting engaged we would be using Larsen's Photography because of the rave reviews from friends and how they capture the essence of the moment, which was so important to us. Our wedding which was such an amazing and whimiscal event was perfectly captured by Maile and Neils throughout the entire day. Even before the the actual day I spent numerous hours emailing back and forth between Maile helping to narrow down our perfect look and feel for the day. When the day came even despite minor hiccups, they didn't skip a beat to make sure everything was smooth sailing. We really enjoyed working with these two and we hope in the future to be able work with them again.

I fully recommend the Larsen's for all kinds of photography needs. My husband and I just got married about two weeks ago, and man, we had no idea how crazy it was going to be! It turned out beautiful of course, but we were running around nonstop the whole day. I was afraid the photos wouldn't come out (I kept crying at every moment!), but I was surprised and relieved when I received the wedding package. Every.photo.was.BEAUTIFUL! I'm so happy!
I fully and whole heartedly recommend this duo. They were funny, organized, and knew exactly what to do during the entire wedding. Maile and I spoke over the phone and through countless emails before and after the event. She was very professional and easy to talk to.
After seeing different kinds of their photography on Facebook, I'm thinking we might hire the Larsen's again for our first baby pictures :-)

I cannot say enough glowing things about Maile and Niels!!! If I could give them 10 stars I would. They photographed our wedding on August 2, and our experience with them was great! As soon as Maile arrived, she got to work taking photos of my shoes, dress, rings, bouquets, etc...both of them are extremely professional, and have super fun personalities. They made the photos fun for us and for our guests. Maile is very responsive over email, and she was sending me "sneak peeks" of photos the day after the wedding! We received our digital photos and DVD within a week, and she also sent us many beautiful prints in various sizes. The photos came out amazing!!!! They captured the day perfectly, from the "getting ready" pics, to the ceremony, to the reception. We couldn't have asked for better photographers, and I highly recommend them. We'll be hiring Maile and Niels again if we ever need professional photos taken. Thank you for helping to make our wedding day wonderful!!!!

I had actually done both my wedding photos and our engagement photos with Larsen's Photography. I love Maile the first time we met and they were flexible enough to spend their anniversary weekend with us TWICE (that was just amazing service). They are so much fun to talk to on a side note about wedding drama, Maile has helped with ours over the last year and a half. We get so many compliments on the quality of the pictures and the candid ones that they got. They know how to make your day run smoothly, my girls appreciated when Maile would tell them to get ready and put on their dresses. My husband and I have agreed that we will be using them whenever we need pictures done and for our vow renewal. I love them, they are amazing people.

Lovely photographs taken by lovely photographers! Maile and her husband, Neils, go the extra mile for their clients. I strongly recommend that all weddings have two photographers; it expedites photo-taking times, and everybody knows that having 4 eyes behind multiple cameras is just better business! They are punctual, considerate, personable, professional, and their work is flawless; they are equally dedicated to preserving not only the images of the event, but also the sentiment behind each scene. Maile shot our engagement session a few months prior to the wedding; she really does her homework so that she's prepared for the day of your session (she even knows the exact time the sun will set since it makes for "softer light and less shadows / squinting.") For the engagement session, she assisted with wardrobe choices, provided makeup tips, and also drove many miles into the great unknown for the sake of capturing special engagement photos at the lake where we had our first date; she even included my dog, who was far more interested in exploring than posing! For the wedding day, she and Neils arrived 90 minutes early prepped and ready to shoot as we finished getting ready; those were VERY special pictures! For my groom, Neils even used his phone to download a tutorial video on how to tie a symmetrical tie! The day after our wedding, Maile emailed sneak-peeks of completely edited wedding photos. Within 2 weeks of the wedding, we received a USB and CD of all +900 of our images (that's +900 High-Def images and +900 in a web-friendly size), along with select, hard-copy photos in our hot little hands; most brides and grooms wait anxiously for at least a month. All of my guests and family commented on how enjoyable the photographers were and how stunningly beautiful the photos turned out. I am beyond pleased with their work, and am proud to now have two new friends who will, undoubtedly, be hired for all of our future photography needs!

We literally couldn't have asked for more! Larsen photography did both our engagement photos and our wedding. Maile is so amazing to work with! her and Neils just made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. It was actually fun doing photos! All of the photos were amazing- the quality, lighting, and versatility of all the photos was literally so much more than we could have asked for. Larsen Photography got the professional photos, but they also really captured those special moments of our wedding that takes a talented photographer! They really captured our wedding and I couldn't be happier!!

Maile and her husband did a wonderful job of capturing our wedding! She got us a few pictures to look at within a day or so and we got our entire package in a week! I would highly recommend Larsen's! Maile, was a complete sweetheart. The wife/husband duo were excellent to work with, and made all the smiling and posing easy. Leading up to the wedding Maile was quick to response with any question and/or ideas i had. But the best part was how quickly i was able to see my photos. She knew i was leaving a short few days after the wedding to go out of the country, and she worked her little butt off so that i could see my photos before i left! If you are looking for a good wedding photographer in Northern California, give them a call!

Maile and Niels are absolutely amazing! Not only are they extremely talented- they're tons of fun and made us feel relaxed (as much as we could be on our wedding day) we've had so many compliments on our photos an the price was definitely reasonable- you are getting what you pay for and more!

Maile and Neils were amazing... from the moment I first spoke to Maile on the phone after looking at her website, I knew I was hooked! First, she answered the phone while on a road trip with her family, and she spent a good 15-20 minutes talking to me and answering my questions. She even suggested a better ceremony site than we had in mind, and now we can't imagine it having been anywhere else! She was always able to help with suggestions or ideas, especially since she knew our wedding was almost entirely do-it-yourself... I remember how stressed I was for several weeks about getting the reception schedule nailed down - she helped me with it, and it was done in 10 minutes tops (boy did I cry some tears of relief after that call!!). She was willing to field my picture texts from the bridal salon when my dress came in and was darker than it was supposed to be. She was always quick to respond to emails, calls, and texts. She suggested amazing colors for our bridesmaid dresses and groomsmen ties, as well as the amazing colors for our flowers. We had a pretty rough week leading up to our wedding, but Maile and Neils sure made us smile. We treasure the several hours we spent alone with them before the wedding taking our couples shots - it was a blast, and was one of our favorite parts of the day - I definitely felt like I had a friend by my side - not just some vendor. Maile, we love you guys - your hearts are huge, and you are both amazing artists... our engagement and wedding shots are priceless. We are so lucky to have been able to work with you.

The Larsen's are by far the best wedding photographers that a couple can book for their northern californian wedding. From the moment I contacted them about shooting my wedding, Maile was everything you could ask for in a wedding vendor. She was quick to respond so I never had to wait around for a quote, and she was super personable right off the bat which always eases the process of choosing a vendor.
When we decided to them as a photography duo, she made sure I was comfortable in contacting her whenever I had a question on my mind. As a amateur photographer, I wanted to make sure my vision was known and she was completely open to all my thoughts and concerns.
When wedding day finally arrived, they were even early and made sure to get every detail with plenty of room to spare. Every moment was captured perfectly and stayed until the evening was wrapping up without any hesitation!
The night of the wedding she already had a teaser photo on Facebook, which just about shocked all of our guests, and myself! In the following few days she continued to edit and email photos which is such a rare thing to see nowadays in wedding photography. We received our package by the next friday which just proved to me that they are worth every penny. I have heard of other friend's photographers who waited over a month to set up their gallery, and then then the couple couldn't even see them as a full photo without a watermark across a tiny thumbnail. Not the Larsen's, they give you web and printable copies of every photo included in their package, including prints of the best photos!
The Larsen's are photographers who, will not only become your vendor, but your friends. The experience was definitely one of the easiest parts of wedding planning and I always recommend them to anyone who wants amazing photos with amazing service!

Words will never be able to truly describe how we feel about our amazing, special, and beautiful wedding photographs. But here goes! THANK YOU SO MUCH! Thank you to both of you for capturing our day, ALL OF IT! We couldn’t have asked for more! You two truly have an amazing gift and we are so glad we found you! We are still in shock at the sheer beauty of them. Honestly, Larsens Photography has customer service that will "wow" you. There work is incomparable to anyone else and their prompt attention to detail and assurance to deliver the best service & product to their client is exceptional!!! We love EVERY photo and received them right when we were home from our relaxing honeymoon..which is soo rare. I would recommend Larsens to anyone..I already have my bridesmaids asking for their info. They'll capture every moment & be by your side from booking to event making sure they dont miss a thing! five stars!

Maile and Niels Larsen are FABULOUS!! The deserve a 6/5! They are a bride's dream come true!! I was so impressed by their organization and professionalism! Not to mention also their humor and fun spirits! I felt like I was having my friends or family members shooting my wedding! Not only do they do their job well and get in there and know what to do, they capture every moment in a wedding that a bride would want to remember forever! I linked up with Maile after she shot my bridesmaid's friend's wedding and she was quick to respond and very responsive! Also the value for dollar is AMAZING! The Larsen's photography team did a phenomenal job at my wedding. The quality of photography and professionalism that both Maile and Niels exemplified seems unmatched in wedding photography. We absolutely loved having Larson's Photography photograph our wedding. They did a beautiful job, were great with the crowd and bridal party, and they were fun to work with too! Larsen's is absolutely amazing! They are quick, responsive in the planning process, professional throughout, deliver a gorgeous product and such a great VALUE! I am SO happy that we chose to use them for our wedding. I know that there are many photographers in the area with a wide range of pricing, but you truly get much more than you pay for with Larsen's. The Larsen's Photography team was professional, hard-working, and personable. They captured the day in sentiment and pictures perfectly and I would highly recommend them, trusting them with any special occasion. I definitely plan to utilize their talents and services again in the future. I also believe that comparatively speaking they offer great value for money, not only considering the comprehensive and artistic services they provide, but also in the quality package of photographs and DVDs they deliver so quickly after the event. I can't thank them enough for the great job they did with our family wedding, and throughout the whole process I was worry free that the memories would be caught perfectly on camera, which of course they were. Maile is (far and away) the best photographer we could have asked for. The photos her and her husband took were beautiful, creative, and encompassed each and every moment of our day. Her professionalism and positive energy made her a true pleasure to work with. Even after the wedding, she's sent us a Christmas card and kept in touch on Facebook.

Having not been to many weddings myself, I wasn't sure what to expect from a photographer. Since our wedding, my husband and I have attended a couple other weddings and, at each, we felt so thankful that we had Maile. I really had no idea that most photographers take weeks to get the photos finished (or, in the case of my friend, a couple months). For us, we started getting photos e-mailed to us on the first day of our Honeymoon. By day 2 or 3, all the photos were done and we spent the night drinking wine and looking online through the hundreds of memories of that day. When we returned home, the box with CDs of all our photos had already arrived (and she even included some prints of her favorites).

I would recommend (and have) Larsen's Photography to any bride-to-be. I know that when we have our first baby, we'll be calling her again.

One of the amazing qualities of Larsen's photography is the level of importance they place on your wedding, your day, and your memories. They were able to capture all of the moments I wanted to remember, plus many I didn't even think to ask about. They are both outrageously talented and this comes across in the artistic nature of their photos. There was no other choice for my husband and me when it came to choosing them as our photographers!

My husband and I had an excellent experience with Larsen's Photography! We immediately knew Larsen's was "the one" for us because their portfolio was so much more creative than all the others we'd seen. They have an amazing eye for detail, as well as great editing talents.

Their affordability was an absolute bonus- you get quality that is worth double the price you are paying. Not only were the pictures in our hands in less than a week, but so was our online gallery, our special prints, and even the online blog write-up! I still can't figure out how on earth they produced over 800 amazing and flawless pictures in such a short time!

Finally, not only were the pictures gorgeous and quick, but the Larsen's are gem as individuals. There is something to be said for choosing a photographer whose personality suits you. The Larsens are professional and keep you on schedule, but they are also incredibly friendly, sweet, fun, and help make you feel attractive and comfortable! We can't say enough wonderful things about them and would recommend them with no reservations!

Maile and Niels at Larsens did a fabulous job at our wedding. They captured all that we wanted and sent us dvd albums and prints within a week. The pictures were beautiful and professionally done. It greatly helped that two of them came and captured all the moments from many angles. We were able to relive the day just by looking at the photos they took. We loved working with them and would recommend them to anyone.

If I had to sum up Larsen's Photography in one word, it would have to be "AMAZING"! Not only do Maile and Niels take great pictures, they are also fun, energetic and so easy to work with. We had both engagement and wedding photos done. They really put us at ease and we were able to enjoy every minute spent with them. They made sure to get all the details of our special day. The day seems like such a blur so it's nice to be able to look back at all the events and details! Possibly the most amazing part is how fast Maile finished editing our photos. The best decision we made out of the whole wedding planning process was to book Larsen's Photography. Thank you, Maile and Neils, for doing such a great job!

Larsen's Photography was amazing! Maile was incredibly responsive and even checked out the wedding site before the big day so they could have a sense of the layout. They were a great combo of friendly and professional, so we felt as comfortable as possible (despite some wedding nerves!!) while still getting all the pics we wanted - even with time restrictions and fading day light. We asked for a mixture of formal, fun, and funky shots and they definitely delivered. Dinner ran late and Maile and her husband stayed longer than planned so they could take tons of pics of our guests dancing the night away! AND they had a CD/DVD/sample prints package waiting for us when we got back from our honeymoon! On top of all the great service, Larsen's was considerably less expensive than other photographers we spoke to in San Francisco. Highly recommended!!!

Maile and her husband we're amazing! All of our photos turned out great and we even had them waiting when we got back from our honeymoon. They are the best overall value and quality in the area. Maile is very quick to respond to emails and phone calls. Larsen's will not disappoint!

Wonderful wedding photographers! Maile was great to work with and fabulous on the day of the wedding. They got lots of great photos and had them returned within two days of our wedding! They also listened to our input and suggestions and the photos they took were fantastic!! I highly recommend them.

The turn around time to see the proofs was incredible: 24 hours! The CD of color corrected proofs followed 48 hours later. We loved the husband and wife team approach. Maile was with the bride before the ceremony while her husband photographed the groom and his party/familu.

Great, Great Photographer! She was completely professional, but at the same time great to work with and just made you feel so comfortable on the day of. I would recommend Larsen's Photography to anyone who is looking for a photographer. Especially, if you would like your wedding pictures back a few days after the wedding. This husband and wife duo are AWESOME!!! Besides an unbelievably beautiful array of pictures, they kept us on track throughout the entire evening!! We are so very impressed by the quality of their work. Every picture took our breath away. We have had several people tell us that they paid 4x the amount we did for a photographer, and their quality was about 1/4 of what we received. We love these two, and would recommend them to any bride and groom!!!

I can't say enough good things about Larsen's Photography. It was an important part of the wedding and we wanted someone who we felt truly listened to us. When I first called Maile she was more than willing to give me her ear to see what I had in mind, and when we met she listened to everything we said and offered suggestions that ended up making our day even better. I loved having two photographers. It really saved time for before ceremony pictures, during the ceremony one person was at the back of the church taking pictures forward and one person was up front catching everything from that view. At the reception they captured every major event including more pictures of my husband and I. They stayed until late into the night clicking away at dancing and friends. They were flexible enough to take pictures of us with friends and tables of people so now we have tons of memories.

I am VERY happy with the service Larsen's Photography and would HIGHLY recommend them and would use them again for any events I have in the future.

Cannot rave enough about this wonderful vendor, the photos were gorgeous, and delivered in 1 week! As a part of the package we reeived a copyright free CD (actaully 2 DVD's) of all the photos for us to have printed as we wanted (big cost savings). And they also gave us 2 slide show CD sets to the same music as we had at the wedding. There were 2 full fledged photographers and they covered everything from before the ceremony to the near end of the reception. They were delightful, professional, the whoel nine yards. And they traveled about an hour to get to our site, I'd be really to bet they would go further, young, hip, and talented-they were the best!

Larsen's Photography is a phenomenal business! Almost every time I talked to Maile, she was extremely sensitive to my needs as well as my stresses. She was very understanding and supportive. There were some photos that had objects in the background that could've been avoided...BUT it was a VERY chaotic day. Weddings tend to be chaotic anyway, but it was drizzling and muddy in addition to the regular chaos. The photographers did an amazing job in the weather and the rain is not obvious in the photos. They were also very in tune with catching details that I forgot to ask them to catch or that I didn't even know about until I saw the photos. For example, my family used our personalized wedding ribbon to decorate flower holders along the aisle - a beautiful surprise (to me) to see in the photos. Our area is very rural, and although there are good photographers, there aren't any WEDDING photographers. Having people who are experienced at capturing weddings and who take GREAT photos was VERY nice. Overall, Larsen's was wonderful to work with and they captured many moments, in clear, great quality images, that we will cherish for years to come. I would definitely recommend Larsen's Photography for other couples planning their wedding.
