We absolutely loved La Banque de Fleuve for our intimate, winter wedding. We utilized the historic bank venue for both ceremony and reception, and it was absolutely gorgeous. The venue already had some holiday decor set-up on our wedding day, and it was enhanced the beauty of this venue. The historic bank vault was such a neat touch and our guests commented on it.
We worked with Ariana as our venue coordinator, and I cannot say enough good things about her - she was super communicative during the planning process, responded to all my questions promptly, and even delayed setting up their Christmas tree in our reception area to ensure we had adequate space for our guests. She was so easy to work with and made the experience so much easier for us. I'd highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for an intimate space.

We had my daughter’s wedding at La Banque on Nov.24, 2024. After months of drought, it rained all day on her wedding day. On top of that, the manager of the catering services was switched at the last minute (8 pm on the night before the wedding!)
However, she still had a perfect wedding day and a phenomenal reception. Perfection and fun from beginning to end! The success was due to Kimberly Barth, the wedding coordinator at La Banque. She was able to move locations for dressing and pictures around. She coordinated with the newly appointed catering manager, as well as with the photographer and DJ. She helped decorate, and the venue looked gorgeous. It was stress free for me and my daughter, due to Kim. We received rave reviews from the guests, and my daughter and son in law said that their wedding day was even better than they could have imagined. I can’t recommend the venue and Kimberly enough. La Banque was definitely the perfect choice for us to create a perfect reception! The only regret is that the reception passed so quickly!

Wow! I couldn’t love this venue more. It was the absolute perfect wedding venue if you’re looking for unique outdoor space you can use however you want and beautiful views of the water! Kim is incredible and truly cares about her brides/grooms to get to know them and help execute an incredible wedding day. Kim made sure to check in on me to see how I was doing with planning and was always so helpful with any questions I have. I absolutely loved this venue and hosting a wedding here is perfect! Pro tip: host your after party at Coakley’s Pub!

I wanted a cocktail party vibe for my wedding, and I knew this would be the perfect place. Havre de Grace is a quaint and eclectic waterfront town, and this venue is situated right in the middle. It offers a large tent in case of inclement weather, a very accommodating lounge area for the bridal party, and the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful during the planning process. Our wedding was just perfect, and La Banque made it happen.

We fell in love with la Banque de fleuve two years ago when we decided to book our wedding there. Long story short we knew there was going to be rain on our wedding day. But then the rain turned into a tropical storm (#Ophelia). Not the ideal scenario for an outdoor tented venue. The week before the wedding Kim was looking at the weather forecast at all hours throughout the night. Then three days before the wedding we made the joint decision to hold the reception at the Bank and do the ceremony outside under a second tent we had rented. Kim completely revamped the plans to create an intimate cocktail party/ night club vibe. The guests could not stop talking about how fun the reception was! We broke up our buffet into two food stations and had tables with chairs as well as cocktail tables. We used the vault area for dessert and Photo Booth. The wedding turned out wonderfully and it actually stopped raining when I walked down the aisle. We are so grateful for Kim and the rest of the team for their ability to adapt under theses circumstances. Kim is wonderful to work with and always puts her clients first. This was an amazing experience that we will remember forever!

We got married at La Banque de Fleuve (Sea Plane Base) in May 2023 and had the best experience! The venue is huge and absolutely beautiful. All of our guests were so complimentary of it. Kim is the best to work with - she is super knowledgeable and helpful with every step of the process. We also just attended our friends' wedding here and everything was perfect. Would absolutely recommend La Banque!

My son was married at La Banque de Fleuve at the Seaplane Base on 9/10/23. The weather co-operated to make this a perfect day. Kim was so helpful and attentive, even assuring us of an inclement weather back-up plan. We couldn’t have asked for a more magical day! The waterfront views make for an absolutely stunning backdrop for photos! I can’t recommend this venue enough!

We were married 5/20/23 at the seaplane at la banque. It was an amazing day and an amazing experience completely to work with Kim at La Banque! From the start to finish everything went smoothly and even the weather pulled through! Most of our vendors were chosen off of Kim’s and the venue’s preferred vendor list and I totally understand why! Everyone worked together so well and made it such an easy experience. The view is unbeatable and we loved our everything is in one location. Our guest enjoyed the deck and walking down the pier. We were able to have a cigar bar which was a must for our fathers! The venue is perfect for an intimate wedding or large wedding (we had 115). Our guest are still raving about the venue and how perfect our day was!

I can not say enough amazing things about Kim and Caitlyn. These ladies put so much work into making our day seamless. They knew I wanted to have our ceremony on the water, and the weather cooperated right in the nick of time, these ladies made it happen! We had an absolutely perfect day.

When looking for decor, something that was so special was how gorgeous this venue was without too much!!! The skyline, the water, the greenery, the flowers, all of it combined was just a gorgeous, perfect setting for our June wedding. Thanks Kim for all your help!!!

What a great intimate venue inside of an old granite bank, complete with the old vault remaining. We loved the layout here with the two story ceilings, balcony level and plenty of room for our caterer and other vendors to set up food and a bar area. Kim is
a pleasure to work with and was very accommodating with our needs.

With only a month to spare, my husband and I came across La Banque De Fleuve. From the day we contacted this venue to the day of our wedding, the owner, Kim went above and beyond to make sure that our day was special. Kim made our day all that we wanted and more. She is friendly, helpful, and so knowledgeable. She was very flexible and accommodating when we had to change some things due to COVID. The venue is gorgeous and we couldn’t be happier with our choice to get married there.

Because of COVID, we had to move our wedding from DE to MD semi-last minute, and it ended up being the best decision we could have made. Kim was incredible to work with and the venue is just stunning. There was nothing more we could have asked for because Kim and her team were there every step of the way with advice and creative ideas.

Me and my husband met Kim at a First Friday event in Havre de Grace last summer. She was outside on the patio of the venue hanging out and we were just admiring the view from the venue and started a conversation with her. We had originally wanted to get married somewhere else but after talking with Kim we chose La Banque and we are so glad we did! Kim is absolutely wonderful. She's so easy to work with and you can tell that she wants to make your special day as wonderful as possible. She offered to help me anywhere I needed help, and had great suggestions for areas I was unsure about. Upon booking the venue, Kim gave us a list of vendors in the area that have been approved by the venue which was incredibly helpful. The venue is absolutely beautiful too. I could not imagine having my wedding anywhere else. It's in the heart of Havre de Grace, right on the water so the view is spectacular.

La Banque de Fleuve has two gorgeous, unique, and welcoming venues. The team at Eleven Courses, can’t recommend La Banque enough! The inside venue is full of historic charm and beauty. The outside venue (La Banque at Seaplane Base) has breathtaking water views, an incredible patio and beautiful tent. Both of La Banque’s venues are without a doubt, two of our favorites. We have partnered with Kim, the owner of the venue, La Banque for many years and she is an absolute dream. She is responsive, exudes positivity, and takes a hands-on approach with her clients, making sure that their wedding or event is perfect.

Amazing waterfront venue in such a quaint town. LaBanque de Fleuve is by far such a beautiful venue with the offering of both an indoor and outdoor setting to choose from. Kim is very accommodating and helpful making your day special. Kim keeps the venue pristine and provides a lifetime of memories.

We had such a beautiful February wedding and that was due in no small part to the venue, La Banque. Unique and boasting an interesting interior that requires little in the way of decoration, we got so many compliments from our guests on our choice of venue. Kim was great and very responsive and flexible and even helped out with our disorganized wedding party of 33 during the rehearsal ceremony. Highly recommend!

Beautiful location, incredible management! Kim, the venue owner, is amazing. “Wedding coordinator” isn’t her title but you’d never know it! She is incredibly attentive, quick with communication, and has her brides’ backs for whatever outside vendor issue may arise. I’m so thankful I had her support on my wedding day. Everything was perfect!!

This venue was perfect for our wedding. Kim and the entire staff accommodated is in every possible way. The flowers, water, dock and bamboo made for fantastic pictures. The accommodations and facilities were top notch as well. Havre De Grace Is a perfect place for a family to get together and enjoy small town Maryland with amazing views. I highly recommend them to anyone!

First, Havre de Grace is the perfect historic small town location for a wedding. Having a wedding and reception venue like La Banque at the Seaplane Base right in town and on the Susquehanna River is just icing on the cake. Our daughter and son-in-law were married there this past Friday evening and we couldn’t have been happier with the venue and staff supporting the event. Kim was there from day one when we first visited the venue, and even provided wedding planner type services by making great recommendations for the wedding party entrance, and even managed the timing of their entrance during the actual wedding. She assisted us throughout the entire process and took much of the stress off of the planning and execution so that we could totally enjoy the event. Kim answered all of our questions and made sure the venue was beautifully prepared with all of the blooming flowers, plants and green space. The venue had plenty of room for our over 200 guests and Kim did everything she could to help us remain comfortable in the 95 degree heat. It is a bonus that La Banque has an ongoing relationship with MacGregor’s just several doors down for catering services. Kim and Nancy, MacGregor’s Catering Coordinator have a great working relationship, but we’ll save that for a separate review. If you are looking for a quaint small town feel for your wedding with a gorgeous river view, La Banque at the Seaplane Base is the venue for you. We highly recommend it and will spread the word.

I had my daughters wedding at Seaplane Base and this place is so beautiful. I fell in love from the minute I walked onto the property. Kim was easy to talk with about our needs and was so very helpful with ideas and support. The wedding was 2 months ago and I am still getting calls from my friends and family about how beautiful it was and how much they enjoyed the atmosphere and being near the water. What a success!!

We got married at the outdoor venue, La Banque at the Seaplane base this past June. Kim was awesome to work with and was willing to help out in any way she could. She even let me have the entire bank venue to get ready in because no other event was taking place that day. She met with me on multiple occasions and stayed in contact with me throughout the process. We got nothing but amazing compliments on our venue choice (It did happen to be one of the best weather days all year), so we had that on our side as well. I would highly recommend La Banque and Kim! :)

I can't tell you enough how perfect La Banque was for our wedding. Kim worked tirelessly to make sure all of the details were perfect - from letting us into the waterfront venue early to set up, to opening up the bank venue for us as a contingency plan for the storms that were rolling in, to setting up escort cards and carrying around boxes of centerpieces. It was so much more than a venue for us. Kim truly cared about every little detail of the day. We had a pretty horrific experience with our previous venue after they closed their doors with no notice and we lost all the money we had invested. Kim stepped up immediately and worked with us to make sure the day was perfect. Beyond the spectacular personal service we received, the venue itself is stunning. We had our ceremony on the water and our reception in the tent and our pictures are phenomenal. Our friends and family can't stop talking about what a wonderful experience the whole day was. Booking La Banque was one of the best decisions we made.

This is a gorgeous venue that is located in the heart of Havre de Grace. Its new and remodeled. Sea base has beautiful garden with a water front. We used its sea base location on our wedding on Sunday,April 30th. The weather was great and the owner Kim and her partner were very helpful and supportive. If you compare the prices and qualities with other venues on the water- you'd soon realize that this place offers much more for your money than other venues! My husband and I had people traveling from Germany,Canada and Russia along with guests who live in US and everyone,I mean-EVERYONE-was so impressed with this place!!! Private tent,deck,and huge space outside by the water is an ideal way to have your ceremony by the water and then continue celebration outside in a tent that could easily fit 200 people. Huge thank you to Kim ! She was awesome!

La Banque de Fleuve is a beautiful and unique venue that will leave any bride 100% happy! I had my ceremony at the Sea Plane base (which is on the same property as La Banque) and the reception inside La Banque de Fleuve. From the moment I laid eyes on the place, I knew that this is what we were looking for. It is a historic bank converted into a banquet area with beauty and charm. The venue is two floors, which works amazingly well for a wedding. This gives guests the option to either be a part of the action on the first floor with dancing and drinks, or have a moment to relax and have intimate conversations on the second floor. The max capacity is 125, and I was able to fit 117 guests comfortably.
The Sea Plane base is a beautiful outdoor area that is right next to the Susquehanna River. Kim did a wonderful job outside with planning/constructing the greenery, multiple areas for congregation, restrooms, a Pilot Lounge, and a huge tent. You can either rent La Banque, the Sea Plane Base, or both (which is what we did).
I have nothing but good things to say about Kim, the venue manager. She is extremely personable yet very professional. Kim really took her time to get to know my husband and I, and understand our vision of how we wanted our day to go. We were expecting heavy rain on our wedding day, and Kim came up with multiple plans to make sure everything went off without at hitch for our ceremony. She helped decorate, get the ceremony going, and made sure everything we were happy and taken care of the entire day. I couldn't be more thankful for her time and dedication to our wedding, as well as Neil and I as a couple. We still keep in touch and I would recommmend her and this venue to any bride I know!

The Seaplane Base at La Banque de Fleuve was the perfect fit for our wedding---- our friends and family are still talking about how beautiful the atmosphere was. The outdoor space allowed plenty of room for dancing while looking at breathtaking views of the waterfront. I got married at La Banque's Seaplane base on June 4th and while it was only a few weeks ago people are still talking about how beautiful it was. If you're looking for a breathtaking venue, the Seaplane base is the way to go. Then there is Kim, the venue owner, who is an added bonus. When I first met Kim I was blown away by her bubbly and caring personality. Every time I had a question no matter how big or small, Kim always answered right away. She was more than amazing on my wedding day. She went above and beyond to make sure that everything went perfectly! If you're looking for a beautiful wedding, the Seaplane base is the way to go. It's a 2 for 1 deal, a beautiful venue and a caring Kim who will make sure your day is everything you've always wanted it to be!

I advise if you are having any event to select this venue! Ms. Kim is AWESOME on so many levels. We got married in the same day that the 2016 BLIZZARD came to town. Kim made me feel so comfortable that everything would go as planned and for me not to worry about a thing, and boy did she keep her promise. She is A1 for flexibility, we had to adjust our time from the original 6 pm ceremony to a 12 noon and it was as smooth as if nothing had changed. I Love this place and Ms. Kim is the BEST!

Our daughter was married at La Banque De Fleuve on May 6, 2016. Our plan was to have the ceremony outside at the seaplane base. However, because of the rain we had to move everything inside within hours of the wedding. Kim was amazing at making the transition seamlessly. The venue was beautiful and our guests were well taken care of. We would like to thank Kim for her amazing expertise and hospitality. The day was perfect!

A beautiful and intimate place to host our wedding. La Banque is gorgeous and by far more interesting and unique than any other reception venue in the area. The setting by the water is stunning, and if you luck out and there isn't an event at the sea plane base the day of your wedding, it's a great place for the bridal party to take photographs as well. The "little bank" was also the perfect place for our bridal party to stage and relax. I highly recommend to any couple!

We had our wedding at this venue on 10/3/2015. Kim Barth was so wonderful to work with from beginning to end! Her theory is that the bride should not have to stress and worry and she helped to make sure of that! I almost felt as if she was my very own wedding coordinator! Kim was always fully aware of every vendor that would be coming and going down to the very last detail. She made sure that everything went off without a hitch! We had originally planned to have our ceremony outdoors and reception inside but due to hurricane Joaquin our plans had to change, Kim (along with our caterer) helped to construct our last minute change in ceremony with ease! Our day was perfect and Kim and this venue played one of the biggest parts of that! My husband and I couldn't thank her enough!

The perfect setting for my daughter and son-in-law's cocktail reception! Beautiful historic building, exactly the right size for 75-100 guests. We also used the adjoining "little bank" for a private wedding ceremony. Kim is a pleasure to work with. I recommend La Banque for any type of event you may be considering.

My husband and I feel so BLESSED to have been the first couple to have a 200+ person wedding at La Banque at the Sea Plane Base!!! Our story with La Banque will be different than those couples looking now, due to the fact that the venue is now STUNNING; however, I think it is important to go back 14 months to describe the amazing team at La Banque. My husband found La Banque online when the outdoor venue was in pre-lim stages. We went to go see it and not only fell in love with the property, but also Kim and Nick. The property was just a lot at this point, but we immediately knew after meeting Kim and Nick that they had a vision to build the most beautiful venue that I have ever been to and the one that I only had dreamed about! Kim and Nick worked tirelessly up to the night before my wedding on the venue. I can't describe the lengths and efforts they took to make it PERFECT. They are perfectionists for their brides, making every detail better than you thought possible! I felt so confident leading up to the wedding because I knew with Kim and Nick on the job, everything would work out! Kim checked in with me often, making me feel like I was the first person in the world to ever get married! She will do this for every bride she hosts because she truly cares about making your day special. The venue is on the water, a breathtaking view. Our guests loved walking out into the water on the dock, having cocktails on the deck, and dancing the night away on the bluestone dance floor. I didn't want to be under a tent; I wanted to dance under the stars, and here at La Banque, we did! There is a gorgeous space underneath a tent where my guests could sit and relax, take photobooth pictures, grab dessert, etc, so I was never concerned if the weather didn't cooperate. My guests have been telling me for the last two months how gorgeous La Banque at the Seaplane base is and I am grateful my husband found the site, so that we could have the wedding reception of a lifetime!!!

Our reception was held here and both my husband and I could not have imagined anywhere else we would rather have it. We are both from HDG and find the building amazing. What else is amazing is Kim Barth- the event manager for facility. I thought I moved fast...she runs circles around me! She has so much energy, tons of ideas. She made our reception run smoothly and has an amazing relationship with the vendors we chose. Our night was magical. The only regret is that it went by entirely too fast.

We hosted my daughter's wedding at La Banque last weekend and it was wonderful. From the initial visit, all the way through to the end of the reception, Kim was very easy to work with and very responsive to our needs. This venue is a true gem... the architecture, lighting, beautiful windows and outdoor space are truly charming. Everyone loved it! There are so many special aspects of this venue, that you really don't need many decorations. Thank you for a wonderful reception.

My fiance and I are getting married in September 2016, and we just booked this venue. Since day one, upon placing a call to talk about pricing for this venue, Kim Barth was absolutely wonderful. She is so energetic and full of life and she has a true heart and passion for the industry that she is in. She is basically a personal wedding planner that you get with the price of your venue. I can't begin to say how excited I am to have my reception here, and to work with Kim from now until the day of. I would recommend La Banque to anyone and everyone just from even the beginning experience we've had.

We rented La Banque for an 80th Birthday celebration with approximately 85 guests attending. The venue was perfect. Everyone loved the place and the band loved the accoustics. Also, I can't say enough about Kimberly Barth as an event landlord. She was always available, a great resource and on the day of the event she even helped walk guests in with an umbrella, due to the pouring rain. I would not hesitate to recommend Kimberly and La Banque.

I LOVE La Banque! It is a gorgeous place to have a wedding/reception! I will be getting married in October and since I booked my date in January Kim has been so impressively attentive and helpful! She is almost like a built in wedding planner! I can rest assured and trust that she will work with all of my vendors to pull off a beautiful reception. Her list of vendors to work with have been nothing short of amazing. I am so pleased and impressed with this whole process so far. She is great at what she does and she sure knows weddings and brides!

We could not have been happier with Kim Barth as she coordinated placement of the tables, band space, caterers and even assisted with transforming the outside area as a relaxing oasis for guests who wanted to enjoy the the water view! She was informative, resouceful and enjoyable before, during and after our celebration.Our daughter and her husband were just tickled with La Banque and our family and friends were charmed with the beauty of this venue. It was such a memorable day for us! Truly, we have highly recommended La Banque to many already! It is "the best kept secret" in the middle of Havre de Grace, Maryland! Bravo!

Absolutely THE BEST wedding reception venue in Havre de Grace hands down! Le Banque is a historic building with gorgeous views of the water. The interior of the building is so beautiful and elegant that we didn't need to add very much in the way of decoration. A few candles on the tables and everything was complete. Our guests were completely charmed! Kim Barth went way above and beyond the call of duty to make sure our reception was a sucess - even going so far as purchasing some antique furniture and accessories to decorate the patio which gave it the feel of an outdoor living space that our guests were very impressed with. I felt completely relaxed on my wedding day knowing that Kim was there to handle all the details. I would highly recommend Le Banque to any bride or to anyone looking for an exceptional venue with outstanding customer service.

La Banque de Fleuve is a BEAUTIFUL ceremony/reception site. The unique history and architecture of the building is a site for eyes, gorgeous columns and stone work, stained glass windows, rustic wooden ceremony chairs, perfect to create any theme for your wedding. I got so many compliments from my guests on how the space was laid out, how intimate it was, even how beautiful the bathrooms were. The owner of the venue Kim, is such a joy to work with. She really goes all out to make sure you have a special day. I even had a separate wedding planner but Kim still acted as my wedding planner's second hand and went beyond my expectations. She even purchased beautiful white mums to decorate outside and brought in some of her own rustic pieces to display for my themed wedding. There is also a breath taking view of the Chesapeake Bay and a dock that you and your wedding party can get pictures on, so even though this is an indoor space, it does have moments where you and your bridal party can enjoy the outside, and the patio was a big hit for my guests! I really recommend this venue to all brides looking for something a little historical, my wedding was certainly the best intimate affair! What a day full of love!

Kim and Nick are excellent vendors. Kim provided excellent recommendations for caterers and florists. Very accommodating and really worked to make sure our wedding day was the best it could possibly be. I highly recommend this location for ceremony and reception.

Kim at La Banque de Fleuve was wonderful! The venue was perfect and charming for the wedding reception. She was extremely facilitating and very professional. I appreciated how she coordinated and worked with the other vendors. The only reservation is I wish she had been a little more communicative about the cut off time - it is rare for a wedding to promptly end and close down at 10 p.m. There is a charge for additional hours. So keep that in mind. I would definitely recommend this vendor!

La Banque was the first place we looked at during our journey to find our reception venue on 6/7. After all the time we spent visiting venues and open houses, we returned to La Banque for many reasons. The value, the beauty of the space, and how friendly Kim was. I'm so glad we held our reception there, we had so many compliments on how great the venue was, we used the patio (gorgeous weather!) and the small bank next door for our photobooth. Everyone had a blast! Kim was amazing and wonderful to work with, she made sure I knew that she'd take care of anything/everything we needed. She was very attentive and helpful. I would definately use La Banque for any future functions!

Not only is Le Banque beautiful, but it is affordable. For my small/medium sized wedding of about 90 people, it was the perfect location! Kim Barth (manager) went above and beyond to make my day enjoyable. Not only the day, but the entire experience leading up to it! She was so friendly, easily accessible, able to answer any questions that we had and just clearly loved her job. She assisted with getting everything ready the day of and everything went off without a hitch. What an amazing experience. You WILL NOT regret hiring Le Banque and Kim for whatever you may need. THAT is a promise.

Kim Barth provides outstanding customer service to clients. As the wedding date got closer and closer, we met with Kim to discuss final details, etc. and she was always responsive, flexible and courteous. She had great ideas and suggestions which really helped us determine location of tables, bar area, extra seating areas, etc.

Beyond the fantastic time that we had at our wedding ceremony and reception at La Banque, there are two things that really stood out for us.

First, this beautiful venue and how appropriate it was for us to have our wedding in. It took very little in the way of decoration because of the nature of this space. It's simply stunning, and the second level looking down on the first level made it such a fun place to party in. We had so much flexibility in terms of where we set up food stations, with the many fun spaces in the venue. We easily accommodated almost 140 guests in La Banque and have heard over and over from so many guests that it was a remarkably beautiful and unique space for a wedding.

But most striking of all to us is what comes with the space: Kim Barth. When we first met with her, she told us how she would be the one to ensure that our day went off without a hitch. We believed she meant what she said, but as with everything else, we figured it was mostly talk. How wrong we turned out to be. Simply put, Kim made sure our day went perfectly. A surprise snowstorm two days before our event? No problem. Kim coordinated early delivery from suppliers and early setup from our caterers to ensure that the weather wouldn't interrupt. Other than a phone call from Kim telling us what she was going to do, she handled it all. Seamlessly and professionally. There was ZERO anxiety on our part about our event; that's how in control and in communication Kim was throughout our entire process.

In the end, the combination of this beautiful venue and the uniquely caring way that Kim conducts business made this day so special for us. We can't recommend La Banque highly enough. And if we can come up with any excuses to host more parties along the way, we'll definitely be back to this beautiful space.

I've had the pleasure of working with Kim at La Banque on my wedding day. My sister was married a year prior to my wedding date in NJ. So to say the least, my family and I have searched high and low for many venues across different states that would suit the special needs for the things I wanted for my special day. When it seemed like all hope was lost, we found La Banque during a bridal show! Kim, the owner was such a pleasure to work with. She gave my mother and I her cell number and she was able to contacted at all hours of the day. She was reassuring and knowledgeable of all the services and special things I may need to make my day special. Everyone including the caterer and DJ services that I requested all knew the venue and had a wonderful relationship with LaBanque. When the date of my wedding date was approaching, Kim opened up the venue on numerous occasions so I can go over some different scenarios with the caterer, florists, photographers and the DJ. I really can't say enough about how special my wedding day was. Kim also makes it a priority to stop by every brides' wedding to send her well wishes and just check up on things. If you want a venue that cares about the bride and family and offers the best quality in appearance, services and overalt knowledable of any and everything you may need on your special day please go with La Banque!

Me and my Husband got married at La Banque Dec. 14 2013 and it was the most beautiful day of our lives. I wouldn't change a single thing that was going on that day. Kim helped so much with decoration to make our day look amazing and beautiful for all of our guests. Every time I called her with concerns or questions she immediately got back to us. From the DJ, the Catering, Photography, Florists, etc...Everything went so perfect. I can't thank Kim enough for how much she cared about our wedding looking so beautiful though and always making time for us when we needed to come to the venue. Nothing bad to say AT ALL. Most Lovely Beautiful place I could have ever chose and if anybody ever reads this review...take my word for it..you will not regret it and I promise you that your guests will complement this venue!

La Banque de Fleuve is a beautifully restored venue in downtown Havre de Grace. Offering gorgeous views of the Chesapeake Bay, it is a beautiful and romantic backdrop for any special occasion. The staff is wonderful to work with, making our event very special.

We held our wedding reception at La Banque this past weekend. We couldn't be more happy with how everything turned out. The venue is so beautiful and unique and Kim was such a pleasure to work with the entire time! We planned the wedding in a fairly short time frame and Kim was very flexible and easy to work with throughout the entire process. I would definitely recommend La Banque to any prospective brides or anyone else looking for a beautiful, intimate venue to host an event!

AWESOME!! AWESOME!! AWESOME!! This place is so unique that it creates it's own ambiance. Their hospitality is above and beyond. They give you the flexibility to setup and create your wedding anyway you want. They let you use their own tables and chairs. Nice plus! On the day of the wedding, Kim was like the captain of a ship who made sure everything was perfect or better. This is a great place to be different and enjoy some local history!

This venue is gorgeous both inside and out!! It's located in the most amazing downtown location with beautiful water views. I received so many compliments from guests and other vendors, as well as people that viewed our wedding photos but didn't attend.
Kim was amazing to work with! She was extremely flexible and went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed. Much of our wedding was DIY, including floral arrangements and cake/cupcakes. Kim made sure I had access to the venue prior to the event to deliver items and store them safely so I wouldn't have to orchestrate friends/family on the day of the event to help deliver items. I would absolutely recommend this venue to everyone!

We got married at La Banque back in April and it was everything we could have hoped for. When we started our search for a venue, we knew we wanted something different than a country club or banquet hall. I was a History major in college and loved all of the historical details of La Banque. It is a wonderful space that needed very little decoration to make it special- we just let the beautiful walls and lighting speak for itself. The vault really sold the whole place! We used it for gifts, the cake, and put up pictures of our family on one of the vault walls. Kim was wonderful to work with and if you ask my mom, she has become part of the family! Thank you so much for hosting our beautiful wedding! Would highly recommend!

La Banque de Fleuve is an absolute pleasure to work with! From the begining of the venue search to the day after the wedding the owners were nothing but helpful, professional and a joy to work with.

When first looking at the venue we received a binder that offered information regarding other vendors (floral, restaurants, Dj's, & phototgraphers) that were in the Havre de Grace area as well as information regarding the venus itself. Kim was my main point of contact and she was willing and able to answer any question we had for her.

Leadign up to the wedding La Banque worked with my husband and I to allow us to bring our parents to view the location and plan for decorations. The venue included most of the tables (all but 3) and chairs we needed for the event! All of the items used are in top condition! We were able to make payments a few different times leading up to the wedding without any problem. The owners were quick to respond to calls, processed payments & send a receipt quickly, and were quick to return all calls. I spoke with Kim several times through email, phone calls, and text messages; even while she was on vacation!

The day before the reception we were allowed to go in and set up all decaorations we were providing. She allowed us to bring our own candles and had no problem with removing any decor that is typically out, but did not match our wedding. The day of the event the venue was a perfect tempurature and Kim even stopped by, in clothes to match our reception, to check and make sure everything was going well. We were allowed to leave items at the venue that we did not want to transport that night and were able to pick them up the following day.

The day after the wedding we picked up all of our personal items from the venue. We also received a text message from Kim thanking us for using her venue and to congratulate us and wish us a wonderful honeymmon!

You can't go wrong with this location or the owners! It is a must!

We met with Kim at La Banque as soon as we got engaged. It was the first place we looked at, and we fell in love with it. Kim was very personable and made us feel at ease about everything. She met with our caterer and with us as we got closer to our date, and made sure she knew where everything was going to go, as well as what we needed from our caterer. Our wedding could not have been more perfect. Everything was exactly how we wanted it. We had a wonderful time and so did our guests. La Banque was a beautiful setting for a wedding, so our pictures are absolutely gorgeous. We highly recommend La Banque as a wedding venue.

Our guests all commented on how much they enjoyed our day and I have to say that much of that was due to the attention and care of the venue manager. If it weren't for Kim's eye for detail, our day would have been much different. The building is breathtaking and we had to do very little to decorate, saving us money for other details. What a perfect lasting memory!

Any bride looking for something different and new for her wedding needs to visit Havre de Grace.
A quaint and wonderful waterfront town with lots for your guests to see and do. Our wedding venue was located right in the heart of town and surrounded by great restaurants and bed and breakfasts all within walking distance of our wedding. The venue was so pretty and the management was awesome. Kim did everything she could to make sure our day was wonderful. She and our caterer worked closely together to ensure that once our day arrived everything was in place and perfect! We could not have been happier with them or the venue.

What an absolute wonderful day we had at our wedding. My husband and I fell in love the minute we stepped into this spectacular building, this venue is absolutely gorgeous and beautifully maintained. Our contact, Kim was so helpful and professional to work with. Her knowledge and vendor relationships made our day easy and carefree. Prior to our event, she was flexible with the scheduling of vendors and even allowed us to bring items up earlier then our wedding date so we had less to do on the day of our wedding. Our guests all raved about the place and how beautiful it was. I recommend this venue to anyone looking for a unique location for their ceremony or reception.

This place is absolutely beautiful and I fell in love with it when I first saw it. Kim was so easy to work with and could answer all my questions I had about the place. She offered her suggestions on what other events had put where and what she thought worked best but at the same time left all the decisions up to us. We were able to get in early and set up and the Caterer got everything set up early so they were not rushing around last minute. It is a small place but it was perfect for our wedding of 103 people. I am so glad I chose this venue!

La Banque de Fleuve was a terrific site for our small wedding (50 guests). The architectural beauty of the space allows you to save money in decorating. Kim Barth is extremely flexible in helping the client achieve their vision for the wedding. We used the mezzanine for a seated service, moved our guests downstairs for cocktail while the mezzanine was reset with additional bar and station. It's ideal to rent the Little Bank too for coats, child play area, bridal party etc. Whereas other facilities were strict on what they offered, Ms. Barth was extremely helpful and flexible. Additionally, her close relationship with Laurrapin Grille (our caterer) made organizing the event truly easy (and Laurrapin's food is truly delicious).

As the Mother of the Bride, you only want the best for your Daughter. And this is just what I got at La Banque de Fleuve. Thank you Kim and your wonderful team. There wasn't one thing we asked for, that you didn't provide. Including a boat trip up the river that we asked for a day before the ceremony and reception. YOU ROCK KIM BARTH!!

Great venue for our wedding day! Great customer service. Everything was excellent! Our main contact, Kim, was very helpful and provided great ideas for setup during our planning. Having two floors allowed us to have our small wedding (60 people) and reception in one venue which was great and more affordable. The building is gorgeous, has an historic, but updated feel, very clean and great for pictures as well. In addition, Havre de Grace is a beautiful town. My wife and I highly recommend La Banque de Fleuve.

La Banque de Fleuve was perfect for our wedding reception. The beautiful building was perfect for our celebration at home of 105 people, after our destination wedding. Kim was great, flexible, supportive and collaborated well with all the vendors. La Banque and Laurrapin Grille are exceptional partners. So glad we chose this venue!

Outstanding! Set near the water, this historical facility is unique in its sophistication. It is perfect for those who want a unique and interesting backdrop for their smaller wedding. While off street parking being a block away was of some concern, no problems were evident during wedding day. An added asset to this venue was the extraordinarily knowledgable and helpful facility manager. She was consistently responsive and offered great ideas on how to get the most out of the venue. She ensured that everything was coordinated with the other vendors as well.

Kim the owner was amazing so helpful to new brides. The view of the venue was great. Wr used the outside venue. Definitely recommend this place.

Working with La Banque and Kim was a fantastic experience. From the first meeting, Kim is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the process. Kim also allowed us to visit several times to make plans and even allowed us to set up some of the decor early which helped to reassure me that things would go smoothly the day of! Kim also shared lots of ideas and tips on how to setup and decorate which I found very helpful. We received so much positive feedback about the venue and I would not hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone!

My wedding was held at the Seaplanes Base. It was a super hot day and there was no rain in the projected forecast. Then, right before I was supposed to walk down the aisle it down-poured. Kim was so great and held together through it all. We rained delayed slightly and then everything went off without a hitch! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding! This venue is truly gorgeous! I also extremely liked how the dance floor area could be outside on the patio instead of under the tent.

Our wedding reception and ceremony was at La Banque and the Sea Plane Base in October 2015. Kim is fantastic to work with and was very accommodating and helpful. The venue is very unique and beautiful inside and out. The outdoor ceremony site is perfect with the water as the backdrop which is stunning. I would highly recommend this venue for any event.

This venue is absolutely beautiful and unique! We did not want the standard hotel banquet room with no personality. When we walked into La Banque, we knew we need look no further. The decor is elegant and sophisticated and needed very little in the way of decoration. It provided an intimate, family type atmosphere that all our guests were very impressed with. We were somewhat disappointed a few days before the wedding to find that Kim would be out of town the day of our wedding. But she made sure that the building was accessible to us for delivery of flowers and the cake. Our caterer then took control and managed everything from table settings to cake set up and candy buffet and gift tables. It was a beautiful venue that provided lots of memories for years to come. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful and unique it was.

We used La Banque de Fleuve in October of this year for a wedding outdoors and reception indoors.
The positives: The venue outdoors is beautiful, right on the water. The stamped patio area is also beautiful and very large. Makes for a great cocktail hour location, especially with the tent that is provided. The bridal room/gathering area inside is new and lovely. The indoor bank venue is equally as beautiful - so full of character and a great location for a small - medium sized reception.
The negatives: Please keep in mind that if you use the outdoor venue - the Sea Plane base - that there are trains that go by every ten minutes. During a 30 minute ceremony you will have 3, possibly 4, trains go by that your guests will not be able to hear over. It became comical after the second one. Also, it is right next door to an outside restaurant patio which had a live rock band playing during our wedding ceremony, which was also difficult to hear over. I would think there would be some type of friendly communication with the neighboring restaurant for that short amount of time when wedding ceremonies are being conducted. The trains and band were really not that big of a deal...we made the best of it. However, we chose this venue based solely on Wedding Wire reviews (which were ALL very complimentary of the location and also of the manager/coordinator at the venue, Kim Barth). We did not experience the same level of service that other patrons had so glowingly expressed in their reviews. Texts with questions were never answered, e-mails not returned and on the day of the event, we barely saw Ms. Barth. She was very bubbly, friendly and enthusiastic until we booked the venue and wrote the check for payment in full. After that, it was almost like she really didn't want to be bothered with any questions. Please make sure before signing a contract with the vendor that someone will be available to answer questions during the planning stages of your event.

Let me first of all state that the venue is gorgeous. Had we not fallen in love with it for our small wedding, we would have found another venue after dealing with the manager. The communication or lack there of and professionalism leave a lot to be desired. I got conflicting information on the amounts of tables and how and when set up could occur. Told me one thing but my caterer another. Manager was also unclear on room dimensions when we asked about them for the space. When it came down to the day of the manager let everything fall to our caterer, which worked in our favor, since the caterer was quite competent. However the manager and her child as well as the owner of the venue actually showed up before and worse off during my event... They had a drink and even had several photos taken in our photo booth!!! I was in shock that they took little to no time to assist us prior to the event but came to partake in photos and drinks that we paid for. To top it off, left a note on a business card where guests were leaving well wishes for us.Really!??
Smaller historic space with own tables and chairs. Broken up into rooms and two floors. Only two restrooms. Would love to use it again someday if management changes.
