Excellent photographic service

Mr. Kulik was an excellent photographer at our wedding. He was responsive to our requests and wishes, very organized in the planning for the event, and extremely professional. He was even helpful in coordinating the work of other providers at the wedding, to better do his job! We truly enjoyed working with Mr. Kulik, and we recommend him with no reservations.

Fantastic!

Mike was amazing. He is a high quality photographer and amazing planner. He found spots for pictures we never would have thought of for gorgeous pictures. He was great with our friends and family, including five little kids, and is a kind person. We have the most beautiful wedding pictures.

We Are So Pleased!

The groom wanted photos with cows. Michael Kulik was willing to go behind the fence and make the trek, and he succeeded in getting those unusual shots. We are so pleased - with the cow photos as well as with the more traditional wedding photographs he took. Whatever particular wedding photography wishes you might have, I expect Michael Kulik can fulfill yours as well!

Amazing Photography

We would highly recommend Kulik Photography! From the start Michael was clear and straight to the point for planning and services. Due to COVID we had to reschedule our big day but Michael worked with us and helped make adjustments to our big day to capture the moments. He was very efficient on the big day and we got all of the photographs with the people we wanted. Michael made sure we were comfortable with the pictures and he kept everyone safe. We love the finished product and would highly recommend Kulik Photography!

True Professional

Michael is a seasoned professional in the photography business, and it is evident in his work. He is also very responsive (our primary mode of contact having been e-mail). We hired him based upon another family member's wedding experience in which Michael was the photographer. We met with him about a year out for our engagement photos. He was very accommodating for these, as the fall weather was less-than-optimal for outdoor lighting, and tree foliage was limited at that point, but the picture were nonetheless wonderful. Leading up to the wedding itself, he displayed his professionalism by researching our venue to better understand the indoor lighting and layout situation.

On the wedding day itself, Michael was punctual, not only based on his early arrival time, but also his ability to keep the post-ceremony photographs moving along on our planned schedule, despite a lengthy photo set. Likewise at the reception venue, he did a skilled job of capturing all of the major events, and also keeping up with us as we made our way around the venue, while also giving us ample space to enjoy ourselves. As for the photographs themselves, we still enjoy looking over them, which speaks to the quality of his work.

Overall we were very satisfied with Michael's services, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Incredible!

The price and the former reviews do not do this photographer justice. Seriously, I hired this photographer as wedding gift for my niece and Kulik's Photographic over-delivered. The wedding party was big and time was limited yet the pictures captured the moment and included even the people we forgot were there! Incredible! —Aunt

Couldn’t Be Happier!

So many things go wrong at a wedding and this wasn’t one of them! Mr. Kulik was dependable and efficient. All of my pictures are amazingly beautiful and bright...it was rainy! Also, we got our photos back quickly and the whole process was smooth and stress-free. I am one happy bride!

Michael did an excellent job photographing our wedding 5 years ago, When I recently needed to hire a photographer for my dad's 80th birthday party, Michael was the first person I called. The event was held in a restaurant with low lighting. Even in a darker room, Michael was able to capture bright and beautiful photographs for our family. Michael is efficient, professional, and responsive to requests. I highly recommend him!

Working with Michael was such a breeze, being stressed from all the other wedding planning he made dealing with the photography side of it very easy. Throughout my entire wedding day, I felt sure that I was in professional, capable hands. Michael knows what he is doing, and gets some wonderful shots. He got the train of my dress, our flowers, and everyone's smile right every time. He even fixed my veil when my emotional father forgot to at the end of the aisle! A colleague at work recommended Michael for my daughter's wedding and he was the very first vendor I contacted. Michael was a pleasure to work with. He calmed me down as MOB and responded quickly to each and every question I had. Michael had planned where to take outdoor shots, but when my daughter approached him about changing the setting, he agreed. The pictures turned out great! Michael captured the entire day without being intrusive. We are so happy we used Michael for our special day!

Michael was absolutely wonderful! I found Michael after looking for someone who offered some flexible and smaller packages, and was also very affordable. He was very professional, our guests LOVED him - he has a great sense of humor - and he blended in while interacting with everyone...in the meantime, he took great photos that captured our day! We had a very rainy wedding day and Michael went with the flow and took some outdoor photos that came out beautiful. I would highly recommend him to anyone - he was great and we love our photos!

My fiancé found Michael through a colleague at work who recommended Kulik Photo as being military friendly. We had a small, intimate ceremony that other photographers told us would be "too small" and "not long enough for their time." Michael was flexible and worked with our needs in having our small ceremony at a secluded location. He was professional in dealing with a variety of parental personalities, including my dad who fashioned himself a "pro" with his disposable film camera. Having seen the spectrum of quality from friends and family cameras and cell phones, we are so glad we went with Kulik Photo. We highly recommend him. (and the review app wont let me select recommendation YES, and no we did not use Wedding Wire to select this vendor, he was recommended by my husband's colleague)

Mike did an amazing job capturing our wedding. He was able to get fabulous shots of all of our big moments, as well as our spontaneous moments that we couldn't possibly have warned him to catch! We really enjoyed our engagement shoot with Michael, and the pictures turned out beautifully. It is so obvious he has been doing this for years, because he would pose us and then get "the" shot in just 1 or 2 takes. His equipment and professional knowledge made us trust him completely with our pictures, and we were right to do so. Michael is also easy to get along with, and a very interesting guy to talk to in between pictures, and we look forward to working with him again on our big day!

My daughter was busy finishing her master's degree so I contacted Michael after finding his name on wedding wire. What a find! My daughter and her new husband could not have been happier with Michael's amazing photographs. Michael was always prompt, very professional and always attentive to the wishes of the bride and groom. He truly kept the flow of the wedding going. He worked well with the videographer and the DJ. As the mother of the bride I felt very confident and comfortable with Michael and the planning he did advance of the wedding. He was not familiar with the chapel where my daughter was getting married so the week of the wedding he met the Amy and Rob there and scoped out the best place to take pictures. He offered sound advice without being pushy and managed to get great pictures of large family groups that ranged in age from six months to ninety years old, with my family that's almost a miracle. Thanks you so much Michael!

Mike Kulik captured the essence of my daughter and son in law's wedding. From the pictures captured "getting ready" at home; the solemn wedding ceremony; and the joyous celebration at the reception, Mike captured the special moments. Mike made an effort to get to know the bride and groom and was responsive to their requests. Mike created evening pictures at Washington DC memorials and captured the beauty of the reception venue. Mike provided the online proofs of the wedding photos in a timely manner. From beginning to end we were very pleased with the professionalism and breadth of the work Mike Kulik provided for our family wedding.

Michael is totally professional but also fun to work with, however on this occasion, he tried to keep everything light. His pictures are fantastic and I'm so glad I had this done, otherwise my memory of the day would have been a total blur. Thanks again for a fantastic memory.

I found Michael Kulik through Wedding Wire and have been extremely pleased with him. We took our engagement photos a few weeks back and they turned out amazing. The weather was a tad dreary that day, but you couldn't tell from the pictures. My fiance and I absolutely loved the shots that he took of us and the dogs. Michael is very quick to respond to phone calls and e-mails. He gets back to you in a timely manner and is flexible with working around your schedule. He is very personable, taking the time to get to know you, and very professional.

I can't say enough great things about Michael Kulik. He has been wonderful to work with and we can't wait to see what amazing work he does for our big day. I would recommend him to anyone...he does not disappoint!

Michael did a wonderful job as our engagement and wedding photographer. For the engagement photo session, he took us to the Capitol area and found beautiful backdrops that we didn’t even know existed. At the wedding, he did a wonderful job with the staged shots and was able to fit in some pictures before the ceremony to save time later. Throughout the evening, he captured everything perfectly and most of the time we hardly even noticed his presence. The pictures turned out great, and we could not be happier. We would definitely recommend Michael for anyone in need of a photographer.

My Bride chose Mike as our photographer. I had pretty good confidence that she would chose someone who would be professional and provide quality photographs. During our meeting, Mike covered some very important topics. One very important topic, which was extremely important and I would have never thought of how important and how much of an impact it would have on the day of the wedding was, Mike asked very important questions regarding if family members got along, which family members did/did not, and which portraits were important to capture. I really appreciated that he took the time to actually ask this question, which in my brides case was really important due to the number of immediate and step/parent members within her family. Our discussion and break down of family members, made it that much easier the day of the wedding. All I can say is...The GUY knows his stuff and IS GOOD!

Michael did a great job with our wedding photos. He worked hard to continuously capture pictures throughout the whole event, while not being "too in your face" with the camera during candid moments. He thoroughly captured every shot I had on my list and was very responsive in communicating with us before and after the event. He also has a great eye for capturing you in the best light and making sure to pose everyone in the picture so that they look their best.

We were very happy with the work Michael Kulik did for our wedding. We
picked him because we appreciated his experience and his photography style. Prior to our wedding, he scouted out our locations and provided useful advice about what shots would work well. He was also excellent at keeping the photo shoots on schedule and working with us to make sure we got the shots we wanted. We knew we would have a lot of large family shots after the ceremony, and he made sure everything got done in time to get us to our reception. He also coordinated with the officiant and the other vendors so that everything ran smoothly. We liked getting all of our proofs in printed form, which made it easier to select and compare photos. He captured all the key moments of the day and the photos look great.

I used wedding wire as my resource for hiring a photographer in the DMV area. I came across Kulik Photography during my search for top vendors in the Virginia area who specializes in photography. I had an outdoor wedding, so I was really nervous about how the weather would turn out. Mikes phrase on his website "So, It decides to rain on your big day. You gonna stay inside and be a big baby and cry about it ? Or go outside and play" to this day, was the reason I chose him as my vendor. His phrase made me feel confident, that if the weather turned out to be awful, I would still have a great day and he was going to make sure of it. In turn, the weather turned out to be AWESOME :-) Mike stayed in touch throughout the stages of planning, he actually met with us a few weeks before to discuss VERY important processes and he discussed our needs and wants. The day of the wedding, he was very prompt and took as many pictures as he could. He is very flexible with his packages and very honest and reasonable. I highly recommend this vendor for any photography needs!

We were given a recommendation from a close friend to use Kulik Photographic. We had high expectations given Michael's credentials, and we were not disappointed. The meeting about the wedding days events was productive and time efficient. Later that day, a lot of time and attention was spent taking our engagement photographs. We were able to see first hand the quality of Michael's work as he showed each series of photographs which looked excellent even without adjustments. Overall, very pleased and well worth the investment.

Michael did a great job at our wedding. We had difficult lighting conditions at our ceremony spot - also the church only allowed us a very limited amount of time to take pictures before/after the ceremony - but Michael was not flustered by this, and was able to get us all of the pictures that we wanted, despite the very short time period. He was very knowledgeable about great photo locations (and restrictions) around the DC Mall and Capitol area, and suggested a great spot outdoors for my husband and I to have some photos nearby, after our downtown DC wedding.

Finally, the reception photos also turned out great. I never felt that MIchael was intrusive or got in the way at all during the reception, but we ended up with tons of great pictures with our loved ones. He also had some great ideas about making sure that we group photos with every table at our wedding - he helped us figure out how to make the timing work out, so that the reception really flowed naturally - I really treasure the fact that my husband and I have photos with all of our wedding guests.

I very much recommend Michael. He's organized and professional, and had a lot of great ideas.

Michael actually took two of my cousins’ weddings. They loved his work and so we knew we were in good hands. Michael was very quick to respond and patient to all of our questions and concerns. The pictures turned out wonderfully and provided extra goodies we didn’t expect. Even after the wedding date, he took time out of his evenings to guide us the rest of the way. Also, the father of the bride says that Michael took the best pictures of him ever. We are glad that we went with Michael.

Mr. Kulik was excellent. The value of his wedding package beat anything in the area. He delivered all materials within the agreed schedule. He was very accommodating to our hectic schedules and crazy wedding day. It was a pleasure working with him and we would again if the chance presents itself. It was a huge relief to not have to worry at all about our wedding photographer when we had so much else that was chaotic. We had so much fun and many laughs. He was so great even though we wanted our pictures outside and it was really windy and cold outside. I recommend him to everyone looking for a fun and reliable photographer!!!

Mr. Kulik did a great job for our wedding reception at the Foxchase Manor this past May. He arrived early, stayed late, and took great pictures while he was there. He made it a point to take all family members aside and make sure all of us were photographed in different combinations. That's sounds like an obvious thing to do, but it can often be difficult to organize family photos during the chaos of a large event. He took great pictures of all our friends, guests and the venue. Last but not least, he successfully photoshopped a stress zit out of key pictures of me. Thanks a lot for that!

My husband and I used Michael Kulik as our wedding photographer and highly recommend him. He had come recommended by a friend of a friend (who, like us, had their reception at the Ft. Belvoir Officers' Club) and the reviews backed up that recommendation. We spoke with him and found him to be very knowledgeable and to have fair prices, so we hired him on the spot. We have no regrets! Re pricing, we found a big range--some that cost twice as much--we thought his prices were very reasonable and found him to be very generous throughout the process (e.g., he gave us a free engagement session).

In addition to photography-related services, he also gave us advice about scheduling and flow of the wedding day, which as a planner with no experience planning weddings, I greatly appreciated!

On the day of the wedding, Michael showed up early and ready to go. He had a clear plan for the day, including shots before and during the ceremony, at the church after the ceremony, at the reception location, and during the reception (table shots, candids, requested group photos). He moved smoothly and efficiently, which gave us lots of great photos and allowed us to enjoy the day. It is also worth noting that my father was in poor health, so we wanted both lots of photos with him and to make the process as easy as possible on him. Michael accommodated both really well, which was greatly appreciated.

In addition to a very fun and pleasant experience working with Michael, the pictures turned out great! He was also very helpful in working to get touchups and prints done in time for us to send them with Christmas cards, so that was a huge bonus.

On the whole, we highly recommend Michael Kulik!

We were immensely pleased with Michael as our wedding events photographer and are absolutely thrilled with the final result. In all our correspondences with Michael leading up to our events, we found him very easy to work with and incredibly accommodating and professional. He always responded to our emails promptly and we especially appreciated that given that we were planning our wedding in DC all the way from Singapore and didn't have the same level of responsiveness from other prospective vendors.

I must mention too that Michael’s services are very reasonably priced and he is also quite flexible when it comes to tailoring the photo package as per the needs of the client.

On the day of our events, he kept up with all our guests’ individual requests for photos and always conducted himself very professionally. Considering that we had over 150 guests at both our wedding events (it was an Indian wedding), Michael did an amazing job of capturing everyone on film, getting loads of candid shots during our various ceremonies and a myriad of group shots. His unique perspective on setting up the shots, his creative ways of including different backdrops and working really well even with low lighting scenarios is what truly sets him apart from the rest.

I would highly recommend Michael Kulik to anyone looking for a photographer to capture special moments and create happy memories.

Michael handled the photos for our daughter's Bat Mitvah and did a fantastic job. They all turned out perfect and somehow he caught everything we'd wanted from the event. Not easy for with a hundred or so guests running around. Great work, simple to plan with, very knowledgeable about the various DC venues for events. We couldn't be happier; highly recommend working with Michael.

Our pictures came out perfect!! Coming from some one who typically hates every picture of herself, I could not be happier with the quality and range of shots that Michael took on our wedding day! The weather was not great - gray and rainy - but even the outdoor shots were wonderful. Michael works quickly and efficiently and provides a lot of direction, which is good for bridal party shots and other large group photos. I also loved that our reception pictures had a great mix of posed shots and candids. Most of all, Michael's prices are INCREDIBLY reasonable for the high quality of the product. Quick turnaround time, too, on both our engagement pictures and wedding photos. Do yourself a favor and book Kulik Photographic for your wedding! :)

Michael captured our wedding just the way we imagined it. When we were unable to go off site to get outdoor family pictures, he made our front yard look like a park setting by getting just the right angles. They turned out beautifully. We had many special request and he made all of them true.

Kulik Photography is the best value you will find for the money. Michael is great to work with, works quickly (great when you have lots of little kids in the family shots), and is not a photographer that will boss you around on your wedding day.

He is also very flexible to work with after the wedding in getting our pictures ordered. No pressure to buy additional photos outside of your package, and it was not uncommon for him to send an extra (free) prints or two to our family members who also ordered photos from him.

He did both our engagement and our wedding photos, and I would hire him again (unlike some of my other vendors).

Got married on the Sequoia and Michael was recommended to us by a friend. We have been very, very happy with every level of service from him, from our initial discussion about the photos we wanted taken to the follow up with proofs. The photos are beautiful--from the photos taken on the deck during our sunset ceremony, to the ones taken inside that are challenging to shoot. He captured so many moments that I didn't get to see (like the guests anxiously waiting up on the deck while I was down below getting into my gown)--and that is truly special to me. Michael was never intrusive while shooing the wedding and his focus was always on making us happy with his service and his work product. I would highly, highly recommend Michael for your event. My Husband and I were ecstatic at the level of service, professionalism and insightful suggestions Michael gave throughout our experience in working with him. After meeting with him on the initial appointment, we had a very high level of comfort that all of our requests and wishes would be met and that he would assist with keeping things running smoothly on our big day. On the day of, Michael created unique and creative photo opportunities and seemed to be everywhere at once, capturing everything. We have now received our proofs and are in the process of picking out the special pictures for blowing up and we are overwhelmed with all the fantastic shots to pick from. Michael is an amazing photographer and captured all the formal, candid and heartfelt moments of our wedding!! Michael was professional, on-time, and creative with the photos that he took. Michael Kulik is a wonderful photographer and was my best option without a doubt. My wedding photos are phenomenal and I could not have asked for better quality. Michael is excellent to work with! He responds to emails very quickly and really is on top of things. The photos that he took all turned out beautifully. I'm a blinker, and I'm usually not photogenic, yet somehow he still managed to get many great shots of me. His prices are much more affordable than many other photographers in this area. For the quality of photos that you get, I really don't think he prices can be beat. He also works very quickly. I was surprised to get our photos back from him so quickly, since my friends who have hired other photographers said that it took them a really long time to get their photos back. We also hired him to take our engagement photos, which also turned out beautifully. He was able to take our engagement photos on very short notice also. Micheal is wonderful, I highly recommend him!

I had the pleasure of working with Michael from Kulik Photography in the past. He was the photographer at both of my sister’s weddings. I loved both of my sister’s wedding albums so it was an easy choice for me to go with him for the most special day of my life.
Michael Kulik was an incredible asset to our wedding experience. From the very first meeting we had, he came prepared and was very professional through the entire process. He also has such a friendly side to him that made me and my entire wedding party feel so comfortable. He took photos that I wouldn’t have ever thought about. Before we arrived he was already there “scoping” out the area to figure out where the best photos could be taken. The only problem I had was choosing which photos I wanted in my album! Over 500 pictures and all of them were incredible. I greatly appreciate how Michael went above and beyond in every way. He was there long before the wedding started and stayed until the very last shot could be taken, literally the very last shot! I still feel bad that you didn’t get your dinner . We have Michael as our wedding photographer for November but just recently completed our Engagement Photo session with him as well on April 14th. It was a great chance for us to get to know each other before the big day. He was very professional and we very much enjoyed the final product. Due to bad weather, it was postponed numerous times but Michael was flexible and they turned out great! During the wedding he did a great job despite my blinking husband! The pictures look awesome and everyone is pleased by them! He is very reasonably priced for what he gives you! I would recommend Michael to anyone!

Michael did a wonderful job photographing our son's wedding. Our son is an accomplished amateur photographer so he knew what he wanted. Michael delivered every picture on the list and came through with excellent results.

I used Michael Kulik's photography services for my wedding in 1994, as did my middle sister and we absolutely LOVED him! He has a winning personality, is very personable and captures the BEST scenes of the wedding. He ensures that the bride and groom circulate the room to be casually and candidly photographed with all of the guests in a way that just feels sociable and smooth, and all of my guests commented that I made the time to visit and speak with each of them! (Thanks Michael!) My wedding photos were absolutely priceless, I couldn't have asked for anything better. He was flexible and creative, willing to travel a bit from the venue, to take some gorgeous shots against the fall foliage, by a watermill and endlessly patient with all of my variety of requests to have this relative and that relative included in various groupings. He happily went along with anything I requested, throwing in his own suggestions that we fabulous.

He recently photographed my baby sister's wedding and he was just as charming, professional and skillful as I remembered when he photographed my wedding. The creative poses he arranged for my baby sister's wedding party and family members were beautiful! I cannot wait to see the finished photos! If you want a fabulous photographer and amazing wedding pictures, try to reserve Mr. Kulik’s services – you’ll be glad you did!

Michaelk was professional and went above and beyond before, during and after the wedding. He knew what shots he needed to get and how to get them. He was willing to take charge of scene to ensure lillte would interfere with his mission. I have nothing critical to say about him or his work. I reviewed many vendors before choosing him and he appeared to have the best deal - and I was thankful to see there were no "surprises" or hidden charges/fees to find out about after the wedding.

Michael was only the first photographer we met with but we ended up cancelling several meetings with other potential photographers, because we knew he was perfect. Michael has a very laid-back and easygoing personality, but he clearly takes his work very seriously. His prices were better than almost anyone else we found, and the photos turned out great. He even threw in an engagement session for very little extra.

On the day of our wedding, it ended up pouring. We had planned on taking all of our photos outdoors. Michael was flexible and he was willing to do whatever he could to make the day perfect. We ended up taking most of our formal shots indoors and then Michael and several of the bridal party trooped outside. Though we got soaked, the photos turned out amazingly, thanks to Michael's great skills. We were so glad he was willing to stand in the pouring rain for us!

Michael has a great sense of humor which put us both at ease and made the photo sessions fun. He was great at keeping us moving through the entire reception so we could see everyone and have time to enjoy it. He even gave us the idea of the Anniversary Dance that went over very well.

Michael was always prompt and very responsive to every question, big and small. He knows his stuff and was a lot of fun to work with. If you're deliberating between Michael and anyone else, go with Michael, you won't be disappointed.

Michael was fantastic! I could not ask for a better photograper. I really liked the fact that he still gives out good ole fashioned 4x6 prints and not just a cd like all of the other photographers we sifted through. He showed up early and took charge and it really helped take the stress off of us. We've been able to look at all of our photos and we love them all! Thanks Michael!

Michael aims to perfectly capture your event. After our wedding we had a large group of people who had to be organized into different sets for group shots. He did a tremendous job of getting them organized and, even more amazing, getting them all to smile. He has excellent endurance and a passion to get the best possible shots of your event as possible. He has an eye for creative posed shots with his 25+ years experience. Michael strives to understand and meet the expressed needs of his clients. He also provides helpful suggestions of poses you may not have considered. We were very pleased with the quality of his work and the photos he delivered.

Michael Kulik photographed my daughter's engagement pictures, wedding, and Rehearsal Luncheon photos. The engagement photos were fabulous and extremely reasonable. Michael took a ton of pictures that morning in his lovely back yard which is magnificently landscaped. You can read my previous review regarding the May 27th rehearsal luncheon. Those pictures were gorgeous. He is discreet while he takes his shots. There were many photos that I had no clue that he had taken. Now for the wedding day-- Michael listened, he heard, and he performed everything we asked for and then some. Let me say that the wedding couple was very picky and somewhat demanding. However, Michael, the professional that he is met all and I mean ALL of their demands. Here is an unrelated story: My eldest daughter was married and we had a horrible photographer, NOT Michael. I explained to Michael that it had been 32 years since a picture was taken with myself and my own 4 siblings. Michael took this photo for me and it is LOVELY. I am so grateful to him that we have this photo to cherish of my own brother and 3 sisters! We now have an album that will be fantastic to share for years and years to come He is a professional and makes super quality pictures. HE WAS AMAZING! A bride would be a fool not to hire Michael! Hopefully, he will be available for you, but don't drag your feet in nailing your date. I nearly missed having him do our wedding pictures by 45 minutes...actually, he had to forego a couple of weddings on May 28th because we were lucky enough to call him just in time to photograph our wedding for May 28th. He is the very best at what he does. Brides hire Michael Kulik. Also, he is very reasonable for what he gives you, great quality and quantity of shots. Jeanne--a very very happy mother of the bride!

My fiancee and I met with Michael Kulik for our engagement session in April. He has a warm, outgoing personality that put us at ease and had us smiling and laughing. The pictures turned out better than we anticipated with natural smiles and facial expressions. We both enjoyed the time and cannot wait to work with Michael again at our wedding. My fiancee's daughter was also with us and we were able to take pics of all three of us as well. It was a fantastic experience and Michael is an amazing photographer.

Michael did the wedding photos for my daughters wedding this past May 2011. I am beyond pleased with the final product!! The photos are beautiful, clear and professional. He was a pleasure to work with and from the moment we had our initial meeting with him I had a good feeling about him. On the wedding day he was there early and took photos from the beginning to end; to include the getting ready part. These are photos that will be cherished for a lifetime. Also, Michael includes numerous prints in his package; and this is mostly unheard of now with vendors only wanting to give you a CD and you still have to pay to get the photos printed! The wedding day is a one time event; there are no "do overs" -- Michael was professional, kept the momentum and schedule flowing, and delivered on beautiful photos -- that is everything I wanted on this special day. Thank you Michael!

We were fortunate to have Michael Kulik as our wedding photographer. We compared several photographers, and he by far provided to best services for the cost. That was before we even worked with him. He was very responsive to our needs and desires, as well as very professional and prompt. He ensured we got all the shots we wanted and provided both traditional and dramatic photos. He made us feel at ease and captured the story of our special day that we are both pleased with. Michael is a wedding photographer with the experience to know what to look for. Still searching for a photographer? Stop. Look no further, Michael Kulik is your guys (if he's available). Mr. Kulik surpassed and shattered our expectations. He has an extreme knowledge of the local area and we were able to our photo session in DC with virtually no tourist impact. He is extremely professional and, bluntly, darn good at what he does. He captured our formal and candid moments while making us feel at ease all the while. Mr. Kulik is also extremely reasonable - our return on investment was tremendous.

I have recommended to a couple of friends/co-workers already and suggest you book ASAP!!

Michael was extremely responsive to our requests from the start, and made us feel very comfortable. The photography was easily the least stressful part of the wedding because of his experience and easy-to-understand coordination of important shots. There was no confusion, and everyone was put at ease. He coordinates with other vendors well. We love the final photos, which captured all the significant events vividly and are composed carefully. We especially loved how he made wonderful creative use of the rather limited outdoor scenery at our venue! There is a lot of choice available, and the prints included with the package are very generous. After the wedding, also, he has been very flexible and responsive as we make our decisions. Professional and personable. We feel like we got a lot for our fee because of his going the extra yard for us. I would highly recommend Kulik Photographic for your wedding and ceremony as well.
