The best. Super nice, super professional, and read the crowd perfectly. Dinner music for atmosphere, lovely, happy, but never overpowering. Announcements were clear, correct, and just the right approach. Not over the top, not phony, just simple professionalism! Unfailingly pleasant and responsive. Great dance music for us boomers, morphing into some newer stuff for the 20 somethings. But nothing stupid like Doobie's "Listen to the Music," (apologies to those who like that tune) and as to the newer stuff, the young crowd loved it but we older folks could relate to it too. Yay Kimbrough! Highly, highly recommend Kimbrough Salas Music.

I changed my mind a hundred times about our music. He was always kind and never impatient with me, no matter when I emailed him etc. Very nice to work with great music.

Kimbrough was our wedding DJ.
We were able to have our questions answered by email no problem, he always got back to us with in 24hrs.
I feel torn at giving him 2 or 3 stars, but 3 is an A-Ok experience and we were not A-ok with everything...
We made him a list of what we wanted and what we DIDN'T want...and this is what we got...
Good things~
He follows our list for our Ceremony, Cocktail, first dance, father daughter dance..
He was professional in his attire and manner of speaking.
Bad things~
We gave him a "do not play list" and he played things on our "do not play list", which included specific songs and genres of music.
He played the wrong cake song.
He played the last dance song wrong and played something from our "do not play" song.
We asked for a specific artist to be played and neither my husband or I remember ever hearing it
We asked that music be from 90's and earlier and he played current songs, that would fall under our "do not play" list.

Like I said earlier i'm torn between how many stars to give, but when your planning a wedding and you give someone a specific list of what you want/don't want at your wedding it would have been nice for him to honor that

Kimbrough was awesome! He has a GREAT DJ voice and was funny, witty, yet subtle the entire time. He didn't try to take over the reception and stayed in the background for the most part (unless we asked him to MC an event). He played great music, and the dance floor was packed with guests of all ages the entire night. He definitely made the party and I couldn't have asked for anything more from a DJ!

Kimbrough was awesome, my only complaint was that we had to pay an additional $200 for ceremony music. Other than that he played GREAT music, took requests and was VERY personable. Would definitely recommend him.
