Miranda and her family were such fun to work with! Not just fun, but easy! It was a great party, and everyone danced (to the DJ's delight!) most of the night away.

Oh My God, what an incredible party! My partner in crime and fellow DJ, James Overstreet (a.k.a. DJ Milk) did tandem DJ work for this reception which was held at the new Deacon Tower on the B.B.&T. field which is the home field of the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. Scott (the groom) is one of the head trainers for the Wake Forest sports teams. This was probably the largest reception we did all year long with a guest list that topped out at over 300. Penny (the bride) and Scott were such incredible clients due to giving James and myself the creative freedom to get the floor moving and groovin'.

For those of you that are considering a REAL party atmosphere and dance party for your reception, call me so I can book Mr. Overstreet for you. This guy knows how to move a dance floor!

Bless you Gloria for such a wonderful review of my services. As I mentioned in my above response to Pablo, I did indeed gain a whole new perspective on different music cultures. And since this was my first time playing a new venue, I had to visit with the hotel management the week prior to the wedding so that I could do a site survey and talk with them concerning load-in and setup.

Billy Joe and Heather were such a joy to work with. They both indicated that they wanted minimal interactivity and announcements and a very laid back Reception as well as encouraging my creativity. Their event was held at Cross Creek Country Club in Mount Airy NC, at the base of the Virginia state line. I got some great pictures, one that I especially like of the couple's Grand exit, walking through a canopy of bubbbles that I will upload to the slideshow here very soon. Thank you Heather and Billy Joe for giving me the chance to entertain you and start your journey together off with a bang! I wish you both great success, love, happiness and prosperity in the future!

Brian & Karin are such a fun couple! They produced a slide show/DVD to run throughout the reception that was projected onto a white movie screen behind my lighting rig. This was one of those receptions where I just did not want it to end. What a party! They danced the entire night. This was also one of the longest reception events I have ever done. I loaded into the hotel ballroom at 11:30 that morning only because there was so much equipment that was being used that included video projection. I didn't pull away from the hotel until 3:15am the following morning.

I want to wish Brian & Karin all the love and happiness in the world, with much success, prosperity and feel good times in the future.

Tim & Hannah were a joy to work with. I was referred to them by a previous Bride. Their ceremony & reception was held at the newly renovated Pilot Mountain Country Club, with the outdoor ceremony taking place on the back terrace of the clubhouse and the reception taking place inside. I'll have pics from this event posted as soon as I get the proofs OK'd by them and scanned and uploaded here.

Kasey and Matt were so much fun to work with! What a gorgeous bride she is! As I stated above in my response to Matt's post, this was an incredible party! The last dance portion of the night turned into an impromptu Soul Train line dance off thing. What more can I say? This was a great way to send these two off on their honeymoon destination, and the capper of the night was the dramatic exit which you can see a picture of on the slideshow, with Matt and Kasey being adorned in white streamers as they exited the front entrance of the clubhouse at Pinebrook Country Club. I want to wish them continued happiness and prosperity in their journey of a lifetime.

All I can say about this reception, was WOW! What an incredible time we all had! Matt n Kasey wanted to get a limo to transport the Bridal Party to the reception, but since they had so many members in the party, a limo was too small. So, what did they do? RENTED A TROLLEY CAR! You just can not imagine the look on my face when I saw this thing pull up in front of the clubhouse. I knew right away that this was going to be one heck of a party, and they did not disappoint! I have included some of the pictures I took of the dance floor action to the slideshow. Amie and Adam's reception was one of, if not THE best reception/party I have ever had the pleasure to spin for. We were all having such a good time, I even asked Amie & Adam if they wanted to extend the party for another hour. Sadly, they only had the venue until the contracted time, so that wasn't an option. Kevin and Carlynn are such party animals! I got some great pictures of Kevin in white sunglasses dancing at their reception. They were kind enough to refer 2 of their friends to me (Chris & Candy) for another reception, and Kevin & Carlynn were in Chris and Candy's Bridal party. Incredibly fun times and upbeat dancing at both receptions! Kevin and Carlynn's reception was held at Bermuda Run Country Club in Advance, NC, and Chris and Candy's reception was held at the Brookstown Inn B&B in downtown Winston-Salem in November 2007. I might just have to upload those pics of Kevin in the white sunglasses here on the site and add them to the slideshow!
