Best photographers I’ve ever had

Kerry & Missy are the best photographers I’ve ever had. They did our save the date mini shoot, engagement shoot, a personal boudoir shoot, and our wedding and reception photos. They made us comfortable from the first minute and we were blown away from every photo they took of us. They are truly a delight to be around and i can’t wait for them to capture our future family portraits.

Kerry and Missy work so hard to provide the detailed, one of a kind photos you dream of. They love what they do and it shows in their work! Wonderful photographer with

Brooks Photography is a husband and wife team that produced amazing shots on our big day and was dedicated to making us happy. They traveled to several locations prior to the session to scout out the area and perfecting timing for the photo shoot. They were patient with us during the entire process. They go above and beyond, and I could not recommend a better photographer.

Magazine worthy photography

These photographers are true artists. I had never had a picture done of me that I truly felt beautiful in or liked so I was so nervous about which photographer my husband and I would pick for our wedding. When I say these pictures are magical, I mean they are STUNNING. He caught flattering angles I didn’t even know I had! He caught the love my husband and I have for each other beautifully and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone for any photography needs!

Traveled to Ireland with us - Love their work!

They traveled to Ireland for my daughter's wedding on the Cliffs of Moher. They took photos for days as the bride and groom traveled around Ireland. Their photos are fantastic!

The very very best!!

We heard about Brooks Photography through our venue. They were the only photographer the venue would recommend because their work is so great, and our venue could not have been more right! Kerry and Missy were so kind, fun to work with, flexible, and creative and we were SO pleased with all of our save the date, engagement, bridal, and wedding pictures. They did a phenomenal job capturing every detail of our wedding day, and made us feel so at ease our wedding day too, which helped make it more special for us. We feel like we really made special friends having them as part of our wedding day, and will look no further for all our future photography needs!

Beyond Expectations

Kerry and Missy are like meeting your family members that happen to be photographers. They get you and your vision, then execute it exactly!!! We loved working with them, and travel to Huntsville in order to have our photos taken. We loved our engagement, wedding, and maternity photos! And we are looking forward to our family photos!!!

High energy, stress-free, & fun photographers!!

I cannot recommend Kerry and Missy enough!! When we were looking for a wedding photographer, we didn't even feel the need to meet anyone else after meeting these two because we knew there was no one better to trust with our special day. They are both high energy, down to earth, and the absolute best when it comes to quality and creativity. They took so much stress off of us on our wedding day and took care of absolutely everything. We have since booked them for a luncheon, a family member's wedding, and our maternity shoot. They are amazing, hilarious, and have become a part of our family.

It's true what they say, your wedding day is the shortest, fastest, best day of your life! Thankfully, Brooks Photography was there not only for our wedding day memories but throughout our engagement to capture all the special moments. One of my top 3 wedding day essentials was a photographer who knew what memories I would want captured without me telling them. Kerry and Missy were so great to work with and provided the greatest post wedding gift of all. I continually look at my wedding pictures and awe over the beautiful, high quality photos. Kerry and Missy don't take pictures, they capture honest, beautiful moments. If we had to do our whole wedding over again, our first priority would still be making sure Kerry was our photographer. First, Kerry offers a complimentary engagement photo shoot (and a photo shoot for your first year anniversary!) just to get to know you as a couple. I was a little worried--my husband and I don't always take great pictures, after standing and smiling for such a long time--but Kerry doesn't photograph like that at all. He's talking with you, making you laugh, and capturing your genuine smiles. And it looks *great.*
Kerry is also one of the most professional vendors I encountered while planning my wedding. You can rely on him to capture every beautiful little moment or every exchange with friends on your special day. He won't disappear on you or cut out early.
Also, Kerry and Missy go out of their way to get the best shot. For our first year anniversary, he took some beautiful pictures of us in a creek, sitting on top of and then underneath a waterfall! He's going to make sure you get a beautiful picture that is unique and shows your real beauty, and your unique love. I absolutely recommend Kerry and Missy Brooks!

Kerry and Missy Brooks are both great to work with. They may seem at first on the more expensive side but you really do get what you pay for with Brooks Photography. Balancing all of the to-dos before and during a wedding even with having a wedding planner is very tedious and nerve racking. Kerry and Missy took our worries away however as they knew the ins and outs of what needed to be done and when, along with also suggesting ideas that we think really made very memorable moments to always cherish within our wedding album. We had engagement, first look, pre-wedding, wedding, and reception photos done with Kerry and Missy. What we walked away with was a fantastic wedding and no regrets that we can think of having used such a professional husband and wife team. They really do try to make every effort during the entire experience from start to finish to revolve around the couple. I say this because things do and always will happen at weddings that just can't be controlled. We are honestly probably only aware of half of the issues as Kerry and Missy didn't need any hand holding. We spent a good deal of money >$50k on our wedding, most of which honestly we couldn't take with us, but as our memories fade of our wedding my wife and I are very happy that we have the awesome photos to be able to relive our special day. Brooks Photography was worth every penny.

Kerry and Missy Brooks did a fantastic job photographing my daughter's wedding. They made sure to get all the required family pictures and did it in an efficient manner, so we could enjoy the reception and ours guests as quickly as possible. Kerry was able to get some beautiful, artistic pictures even with having the "cold" and industrial Space and Rocket Center as a venue.

Kerry was very easy to work with and captured the personality of my daughter and son in-law in their engagement and wedding pictures. It was difficult to choose which pictures we wanted made into larger portraits, as there were so many good ones to chose from.

While not in her job description as a photographer, I can't thank Missy enough for coming to my daughter's rescue immediately before the ceremony and tightening her dress and avoiding a potentially embarrassing wardrobe malfunction as she walked down the aisle with her dad.

Kerry and Missy make a great team, and I am so glad we had them for my daughter's special day!

Kerry and his team was absolutely fantastic!!From the time they arrived they began taking pictures and didn't stop until the couple left five hours later. The pictures they took were very detailed, which allowed me and others who may not have seen every little detail or were not at the wedding get to replay our special event! Kerry and Missy traveled with us to Vermont for our private destination wedding. Not only are they very professional, flexible, and easy to be around, they are genuinely fun people who we had a blast hanging out with. Kerry had great ideas for photos that turned out amazing and worked with us to customize the photo package we really wanted. Kerry did such a fantastic job photographing my wedding. We have pictures that capture our personality and showcase all of our special day in such a meaningful way. He and Missy are incredibly professional and friendly and are so easy to work with. I have just received my wedding album and it is of the highest quality and is so elegant. Kerry was so easy to work with! We never even met in person until the wedding and I was blown away with his creativity and professionalism. Kerry photographed our engagement & wedding.

For our engagement session, we wanted two distinct looks:

1) We wanted some with our bassett hound, Ronny. These were taken in the Fall season, outside by a lake.....very soft and playful. Kerry did a great job! He even got down on the ground to get this cool shot of Ronny walking towards him (so the dog is in the foreground) and us sitting on a bench in the background. It looks fantastic!

2) I had a very particular look that I wanted.....something edgy and industrial. Kerry found this old building that was being renovated into lofts. The place had been gutted, but still had the exposed brick and pipes and huge beautiful windows....the kind that are two-stories high and you just don't see in buildings anymore. Kerry was totally fine with us running back home in between locations to change outfits. We wanted these to be more dressy.

Our engagement session was 4 hours!!! I believe most only last about 1 hour. But Kerry was so excited and pleasant to work with, he made us more excited! And I had been worried about my fiance being uncomfortable in front of the camera, but Kerry treated us more like friends than clients. They were cracking jokes together and Kerry made us both feel very comfortable and relaxed.

For our wedding day, I didn't want too many of the really "posed" shots. Kerry got a good mix of the traditional posed bridal party shots and the non-traditional shots. Our wedding was at a country club on a scenic bluff, and Kerry definitely took full advantage of the surroundings. He got some fantastic shots!!!! There is one of the groom + groomsmen walking on the golf green with the city view behind them. And another of me + bridesmaids on the stone terrace, with Kerry on the ground floor taking the picture looking up at us. Kerry and his assistant arrived early and stayed late.....actually, they stayed an extra hour! Our wedding reception ran longer than expected, but Kerry stayed to get photos of our departure. He took over 1600 pictures! Several of them are duplicates, so he edited them down and we still ended up with 600+.

Kerry was honestly one of the easiest vendors we worked with. He goes above and beyond other photographers. He can shoot multiple styles and looks. If I emailed him, he would respond that same day. He had several pre-set packages, but I only wanted the CDs with copyrights. He was flexible and completely willing to work with me. Kerry really cares about his clients and wants to do everything he can to make them happy, and it shows in his work.

Kerry was so great to work with. He understood exactly what I wanted and and knew exactly what I wouldn't want to do. It was almost 100 degrees outside and he hung in there with me and kept the mood fun and light even though we were all dying of heat. The pictures turned out better than I could have dreamed of and I would highly recommend him! He is incredibly flexible and willing to help however he can.

Kerry will work with your budget and really listen to you. He isn't afraid to try new poses and set-ups, and really strives to add that unique touch. He is also flexible. When an unexpected event caused a delay, he maintained professionalism and stayed until the job was done. Portraits are very easy to order and his service is top-notch.

Kerry took our engagement, ceremony, and reception photos for our wedding. From the very beginning, he was very professional and informative on what he does. We barely had to say a thing and he always had an awesome idea on how to pose us. We would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to get married or just need professional photography services.

Kerry was a very good photographer! He wored around our crazy schedules with last minute details and all! You can tell he really loves what he does and it shows in his work! I couldn't have asked for a better photgrapher. He makes you feel like being photographed is the easiest thing. He did my engagement and bridal sessions and my wedding. They were all great! I would recommend him to anyone looking for pictures that they can remember for a lifetime!

Kerry was the perfect photographer for me and my husband! He has such a wonderful and fun personality and he is very good at what he does. Our wedding photos came out better than expected, and I use Pinterest! He really takes advantage of natural lighting to help enhance beauty and to make scenes a little more dramatic. He was a little pricey, but the end product was definitely worth it. He also made a 3-hour drive just to do our engagement photos, which turned out beautifully!

Kerry Brooks has been a joy to work with during the planning of my daughter's wedding. His easy-going demeanor sold us from the start, along with the wonderful samples of his work that we saw. He took more time than expected for the engagements shots and they were fabulous and captured the personality of the couple perfectly. For the wedding, his pictures were works of art. He captured the activities of the day in a very artistic and engaging manner, also adding the personality spark from the bride and groom. He was more than willing to accommodate all the family shots needed to complete that day in a most efficient manner. Many of the wedding party commented on him being the best photographer they had ever worked with, and some have been part of many weddings. Also, his delivery of the initial proofs and galleries for viewing was very timely. He also seems to keep up with the latest and greatest products to be able to offer his clients the best available. I am more than pleased with having chosen Kerry to work with our family and hope to work with him in the future!

We used Kerry for two weddings, three months apart. Due to our crazy, tight schedules we were frequently in a panic. He was patient, cooperative and incredibly flexible. He worked with us around rain, crazy travel schedules, heat and mosquitos and never lost his cool. His good humor, great eye, and unending patience created beautiful memories.

Kerry did our engagement session, bridal portraits, and wedding pictures. We were thrilled with the entire experience, and with the results. Kerry has an incredible eye, and an ability to get his subjects to shine for the camera. I would highly recommend him to anyone who can afford him!

Nightmare photographer!!

this was the absolute worst photography experience of my life, and it was my wedding day. Please head to google to read my full story and review. This guy has reviews shut off on his wedding facebook page, and his normal photography facebook has bad reviews blocked from posting! I am devastated over how terrible this guy was, and the worst part is that I cant re do that day..
if youre looking for a rude, unprofessional, bossy photographer to disrespect you, and your guests this is your guy.
