Amazing photographer!
I would highly recommend Keith for any of your photography needs! Keith photographed our family for our 10 year anniversary and vow renewal, and he captured the event in such a lovely way. He was a great communicator, showed up early, was a joy to be around, connected with our kids , and just made the whole experience easy and fun. But most importantly, his pictures are beautiful! He already had ideas on where to shoot and what poses to do, but was also up for any other suggestions we had. The lighting and angles were gorgeous. And he had our pictures ready within a day!! I have never received pictures, especially such beautiful ones, in one day! We will absolutely use his services should we return to Kauai! -

Amazing engagement photo session
Keith has a great eye for angles, and details. I had an adventure photo session and absolutely loved the results. The colors, the scenery and tone of the photos were soft and romantic. I looked at 3 other photographers portfolios but decided on Keith because his photos looked different and unique. I'm a girl who isn't afraid to get wet or muddy for the right photo and he was the ideal photographer for this. I like moving photos that are artistic and I got exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend him to all brides! -

Absolutely Amazing!!
Hands down one of the best photographers on Kauai. If I could give 1000 stars I def. would!!!! Keith Ketchum did a recent photo shoot of my new Jewelry line "AHONULOVE" for @ahonuexperience. I couldn't have been happier with the results. His attention to detail, the lighting, the location, the way he worked with the model to get the perfect shots just amazed me. He def. went out of his way to make sure all my dreams were met. He focused on the little details and created shots I couldn't have ever dreamed up. It was like a dream when I saw them. Warm hues of the sunset that just made my jewelry sparkle. He hit up several locations giving me many options and pictures to work with. Very skillful, patient, laid back family man. I would highly recommend Keith for any type of shoot; he can do it all. Thank you Keith for all your hard work and dedication to make this shoot a success. I am beyond stoked with your work and look forward to working with you again.

Awesome wedding photographer
Keith did an amazing job shooting my wedding in Kauai. He had lots of great suggestions for fun, artistic shots he wanted to capture, which was perfect since my wife and I aren't big on taking pics in the first place - his expertise was definitely appreciated.
Keith is also really good at being nonintrusive while still managing to capture awesome photos. He was very respectful of our time while we chatted with our guests, and would also pop in throughout the night with shot suggestions based on the lighting as the sun set. Best part, he got us our wedding photos pretty quickly, within about 3 weeks, and they turned out fantastic.
Can't recommend him highly enough, thanks Keith! -

The BEST Wedding Photographer on Kauai!
Our wedding planner suggested Keith on a list of preferred vendors she works with. After visiting his website and instantly falling in love with his work, deciding to work with Keith for our destination wedding was a no-brainer. From the moment he arrived on site, he had my (now) husband and I relaxed and so excited for the big day ahead. My husband is not a fan of getting his picture taken, but Keith made it such an enjoyable and fun experience for both of us. We didn't have to try - he just captured the magic and beauty of our perfect day. The pictures turned out far more beautiful than we could have ever imagined, and he had a sneak peek back to us within a week. Keith photographed my wedding in Kauai, Feb 28th 2018. The weather was a bit dreary and it had started to rain. He was able to recommend a back up location for the ceremony that was absolutely perfect and out of the bad weather. You would've never known he was there as he was completely out of the way during the ceremony, but captured the most beautiful photos of us and my children. He was able to capture every special moment and facial expression while keeping the photos so incredibly artistic. He has an incredibly artistic eye. As an artist myself, I am super picky, but he did not disappoint! He took a dreary day and made the photos look so airy and bright. He was punctual, laid back and made me feel comfortable in front of the camera during the more "staged" photos. His editing time was super speedy and I was incredibly happy with his work. He is the definition of a true professional photographer! I would highly recommend him for your photography needs! He is a pleasure to work with! -

My wife and I had this idea to get married on Hawaii. Not so easy, if you`re thousand of miles away from there and live in Berlin/Germany. First we thought to keep it simple, and just to book a wedding package in a travel agency. Bad idea…after our first visit there, we immediately knew that we`re going to book everything on our own. Especially the idea of not having the possibility to choose the wedding photographer was a “no-go“ for us. And while searching the web for photographers on Kaua`i we stumbled upon Keith`s page. The comments were great, but the most important thing was: we loved his pictures! We compared a lot of photographers on the island, but you could immediately see, that he`s a someone with experience giving his pictures already a special personal tone. But keeping it still natural and alive. Something we immediately felt in love with, but at the same time we thought: we probably can`t effort his service! Also, someone who`s doing such beautiful pictures might be very busy, and who know`s if he`s got time at this special day (we just had 1 month left for organizing, and date & time were already determined). But we pushed our luck and wrote him...and got a really detailed answered from him. We instantly had a feeling of trust while reading his 1st email. He sounded very professional but the best was: he had time and his quote was unbeatable! So we kept it short and decided to sign the contract immediately from Germany. And what shall we say: we never regretted this decision. And there it finally was: the morning of our wedding. Keith was there more than about time. And from the first minute we noticed his very calm, professional but more than friendly nature. Because we all did`t want to miss the important moment of sun rising, everybody (us & the wedding minister and his wife + Keith) just got as fast as possible to the place where magic should happen. Keith was our wedding photographer for our ceremony and reception at Kauai Beach Resort. Even with a few hiccups, like rain when the ceremony was supposed to begin!, he stayed positive and professional, getting the most beautiful pictures! He made wonderful suggestions about places to shoot, and turned the grey day into the perfect backdrop. He was flexible as our schedule was thrown off a bit and stayed to capture all the most important moments. We really appreciated everything he provided for us and I couldn't recommend him enough. -

We couldn't be more thrilled to have Keith Ketchum as our wedding photographer!! He was an absolute joy to work with! Our guests as well as our wedding party all commented on his charismatic and relaxed nature and incredible professionalism. Keith was our wedding photographer in September and we HIGHLY recommend him. I was so happy our venue (Plantation Gardens) had him on their recommended vendor list. We had the opportunity to meet him almost a year before our wedding date which was really nice. My husband and I are not "camera on me" type of people but Keith made the entire day so comfortable and natural and he had the perfect balance of being involved and standing back and capturing the moment. He is extremely talented and very professional with a good sense of humor too. He was so on point and was able to keep up with the hectic schedule and my "wish list" for pictures. His turn around time on the photos also is amazing!! Keith emailed out a preview link a couple weeks after the wedding and I was SO impressed with his work. We couldn't be happier with all the pictures he captured, wedding photos are so special because the day just flies by. Do yourself a favor and look no further, Keith is the best!!! -

Keith was our wedding photographer in December of 2014. From start to finish, our experience with him was fantastic. Not only is Keith an amazing artist, but he is also a consummate professional. Our guests made special note of how Keith was never in the way. Yet, when we received over 1,200 photographs of our wedding two weeks later, he did not miss a thing!

I can't say enough great things about Keith and his work. He was FANTASTIC to work with - he was able to direct shots of us, our wedding party, and guests while still maintaining a very laid back attitude. I can't tell you how much this helped to make everyone comfortable and our day stress free! And his photos are amazing!! We received 4 disks of pictures, ALL edited beautifully, within a month of our wedding. I can’t even describe how awesome the pictures are - he was able to capture moments that I will cherish for a lifetime. I recommend him to everyone and I would use him again in a heartbeat! -

Keith is a great photographer!! He makes everything stress-free...from booking, bridal portraits, wedding day, and receiving the photos. He is prompt (we had the preview of our pictures by the time we got back from the honeymoon, and fully edited CDs in the mail a few days later), and takes great, unique shots. Highly recommend! -

I hired Keith to do my bridal portraits and my wedding pictures. He was great! I love his style because he takes classic pictures as well as modern, artistic photos. Not only was he one of the most affordable photographers we interviewed, but he was also the most down to earth and friendly. I can not put enough words in this review to say how great of a job keith did on my wedding day. We had some challenges for him in timing and locations and he did not miss a beat and managed to still capture every moment. He was positive and kept the atmosphere light and fun.
I am obsessed with pictures and I am very particular myself and I loved every photo taken by him. He captured the sweet moments, the fun moments, the FUNNY moments, and every memory of my perfect wedding day is now in my hands thanks to him.
He was extremely affordable and he was willing to work with you on your big day. He gave us full day coverage and gave us access to all our pictures. Not to mention we were able to see a preview of our pics on the honeymoon :) The turn around was so quick.
I would recommed Keith to anyone! -

We chose Keith for our June wedding, and he was hands down our best vendor choice. He was friendly, laid back, and unobtrusive. He always seemed to be in the right place to catch great shots. We did a lot of shopping around, and the value of the work you recieve far exceeds the low cost. I completely love my wedding pictures. -

I would absolutely recommend Keith Ketchum as a Wedding Photographer. He did our wedding photos and we could not have been any more pleased with the end results! I know how special a wedding day is to a Bride and if there was anything negative to say I most definitely would so that your day would be as wonderful as can be, but I have nothing negative to say about his work. I have referred him to many people and he will even be doing one of my best friends' wedding this year.
We were so thrilled when we got back from our honeymoon a week after our wedding to already see some photos of ours from our wedding. When I met Keith the first time to get information about his work, he mentioned that after the wedding he goes right in to working on your photos and he was absolutely correct about that! The photos are always the one thing that you wait anxiously for and we were thrilled when we received our photos less than a month after we had been married.
So many people at our wedding commented that everywhere they looked they saw Keith. He was truly able to be in "ten places at once." He was able to capture all of the right moments without us having to give him any direction. He made the day so comfortable and took the best candid shots. We never felt like we were ever posing because he was able to really capture us in the moment during all of our photos.
I am so thankful for each and every photo that I received from Keith and could never choose just one. I will cherish them forever! Thank you Keith for your wonderful work! -

Keith not only did my wedding photography but also my bridal portraits. He is so easy to work with and his makes it fun. Not only is he affordable but you will get amazing quality as well. After the event the photos are given back to you very quickly. The day of the wedding he gave me his full attention and even my guests raved about how great his pictures were and how great he was at the wedding. He has also done family portraits for me that turned out great! I highly recommend him if you are looking for a great photographer who is also a great person. -

Keith Ketchum was the BEST choice we made regarding our wedding/reception, hands down. In the midst of chaos with the wedding and rehearsal site, the food, the weather, the wedding party, etc... He was the one aspect of the day that wasnt pure chaos.
Let me start by saying that the day of my wedding there was basically a MONSOON! Crazy winds and rain during the whole thing.... Yet Keith was there from the start at the salon, to the second we drove off in the car, in the rain.. he didnt miss a shot.
From day 1 of meeting him he was so incredibly friendly and down to earth. My husband and I really felt like he was one of our long time friends.
Not only is he friendly but he is highly professional and gets every single moment captured on film that youve ask for an so much more.
He was able to capture every important candid moments in such a unique modern way... yet he also got all of the traditional moments and groups shots needed for the classic albums, desired especially by family members.
Keith also did our engagment photos... He can find places in town that you would never know existed. Places that look so different from anything you would expect could generate a nice background for a shot.... and after you look at the photos, you wont believe how these backgrounds, colors, textures and atmosphere can make your photos pop. Not to mention he makes you feel so comfortable that you cant help but take a good photo!!
When all the excitment started dying down at the wedding I had so so so many people approach my husband and I asking how we met our photographer and telling me how great he was. I think everyone left with one of his cards that night because there wasnt one person that wasnt impressed.
I will never recommend or use another photographer... Keith is a one of a kind at what he does.

I searched high and low for a photographer for my wedding. After talking to at least 15 photographers we finally found Keith Ketchum Photography. Keith had such a wonderful selection of services for such an affordable price. He was very professional and flexible. He asked us for our input and really listened to our needs. He offered us a great package with high quality work. I'd highly recommend him to anyone to capture those special moments of your big day. -

Keith shot our wedding on January 9th, and we couldn't be happier with the end result.
To begin with, Keith was extremely professional and accessible in the months and weeks preceding the events. Any questions we had or concerns were addressed immediately, and we felt comfortable throughout the entire process.
On the day of the wedding, Keith exhibited a level of preparation, professionalism and friendliness that was unparalleled. He made everyone in our families and in the bridal party feel comfortable, and by far one of my favorite qualities was his ability to blend in.
What I mean by this, is that Keith managed to be almost invisible at times, capturing amazing candid moments that a lesser photographer may not have been able to. Yet at the same time, Keith was always there when we had a specific picture we wanted or anything. He just had a way of balancing this that made the process easy and fun.
Other photographers and videographers I have spoken with have a turnaround time of several weeks or a month, but Keith had our photos edited and delivered in a little over a week. We also had a coffee table book made, and this was also delivered quickly.
The photos are stunning. His framing, use of color and variety of lenses really captured how we perceived the whole event. I could not be happier with the pictures, and I would recommend Keith Ketchum to any bride who wants stunning, unique photos at an affordable rate. -

Keith is an excellent photographer. He captured all of the important pictures you want plus MANY more. He shot very unique angles along with the traditional. I highly recommend using his services. Very reasonably priced also! -

Keith Ketchum was referred to my husband and I through my co-worker who had attended High School with him in Wilmington, NC. My husband and I were on a tight budget and yet our photographer was "our thing" that we were not willing to cut QUALITY in, but needed to be mindful of cost - VERY hard to do in wedding planning, especially with photographers. From the moment that we spoke with Keith, all of us (the groom's mother, and my husband and I) were just charmed and completely settled that "this was our man" for the job; after looking at our wedding pictures we couldn't be happier with our choice and would recommend him to anyone, any day.
Keith held to every appointment, returned phone call, price quote,...everything that was promised to us when we first decided to go with him as our photographer. Our photos were given to us within a week's time from the wedding date, on disc and edited beautifully and artistically. Not only was he our photographer, but he was at-hand and extremely helpful throughout the day of/the reception in keeping up with "what to do next" (garter toss, etc).
Keith was amazing (even during our engagement photoshoot where we were obviously posing FOR him/his camera) at being there "without being there" for so many of the pre-wedding and wedding events - especially when all the girls and I were getting ready the day of the wedding; he was helpful, and relaxed, and took care to do what he needed to do without getting in the way or causing any added stress. If anything, he helped negate much of the wedding-day stress!
Keith, any time we had something scheduled with him, said to us "I'm yours...you let me know whenever you need me there...if you're not sure, I'll have my phone on and I"ll just be on-call for you that whole day". And he was absolutely true to his word.
My husband and I are so "fussy" about our photos for any event, and I can say that Keith truly caught the "us" in our wedding day in each and every picture. He has a touch to his photography that captures the feeling and personality of the bride and groom (not the feeling/style HE felt while taking them) and capturing the atmosphere of the event, and he turns what may have just been photographs, into memories that you know are yours, and yours alone.
What can I say...I couldn't have chosen anyone any better; he's fairly new to the game, and really VERY fairly priced, but you would never know it by the result of his photography or his professional, friendly manner and his absolute dedication to your event. I would suggest Keith 110% to anyone for any occasion he's willing to shoot!

I think Keith is a great photographer. Easy to work with and his work is great. The only thing I would suggest is to know what type of shots you want. While he is flexible to do whatever shots you want, he is not very assertive in telling you where to go or what shots to take. You kind of have to direct your shots.
Looking back over my photos, he did SUCH a great job. But I would have loved to had a little more direction from my photographer because there are some key shots we never got together as bride and groom at our wedding because we didn't know to ask for them.
But I don't want to focus on the lesser, because he is truely a great photographer. Just ask for direction. We didn't think to do that. As far as getting a quality photographer, you can't get much better than Keith. Anytime I had a question, I emailed Keith and had a responsive within the hour. In addition to being uber great on prices, the work matches that of well-known local wedding photographers without the inflated prices.
Overall, we were extremely statisfied with the service and photographic quality of Keith's work. I would reccomend him to anyone! -
