When it came to choosing our wedding videographer, we went through great lengths to find a team that was professional. We were looking for a vendor that had creative vision while having advanced cinematography capabilities. We looked at over 30 vendors and I must say that Kai Media stood out early on the selection process and was hands down, the clear choice for us. We dealt with Kelii Grace over email (we live near Hollywood, CA) and went over the details. Once we landed in Hawaii, we met Kelii in person at a local coffee shop and had all of our details worked out. Kelii had some great suggestions and was able to capture our vision for what we wanted as well. We left the meeting feeling like we were working with a good friend and were relieved to know that he would be shooting our wedding with his brother, Pono.
On our wedding day, they arrived on time and began shooting immediately while giving great direction and coordinating with our photographer and other vendors.
Our wedding day was a blur with a flurry of activities and I am so glad we invested in Kai Media. TWO days later, Kelii sends me a link to a teaser video..."Really! Who does that!?", I said to myself. I clicked on the link and was astounded by what I saw! The video clip was a work of art. Kelii's musicality, song choice, style, soft lighting, camera movements and editing skills were masterfully showcased in less than 60 seconds...PRICELESS.

We love the drone shot at the end as it flies out into the ocean. It surprises everyone that sees it and adds to the romance, grandeur and beauty of our wedding day.
We enjoyed working with Kelii and Pono and can't thank Kai Media enough for capturing our wedding day from their unique perspective.
We give KAI MEDIA 5 STARS and will post an update when we get our "Highlight" video and the "Full" video package.

BEST VIDEOGRAPHER IN ALL OF OAHU! We sat down with the owner and he went through all of the details of our wedding to make sure he would not miss anything! His team worked nonstop and we had to make sure to tell them to eat their vendor meal! They are such a pleasure to work with, and they know how to make your story unique with a beautiful video. They take the extra step to personalize your wedding day story and it wow'ed all of our guests during the reception when they showed our SAME DAY edit video! The team from Kai Media are amazing! They are so professional and friendly.. We have not received our video as yet, as our wedding was only 4 weeks ago. We have received a good amount of photos to know our full photos and video is going to be beyond our expectation! The quality is amazing and we wanted natural shots which from what we have seen so far is what we are going to receive. I explained only once what we where looking for and they delivered that and more. We are so happy to have been able to have Kai Media and the team work with us! We researched quite a few videographers for our wedding on Kauai as we wanted to capture our once in a lifetime moment in the best possible way, and once we saw some of the Kai Media videos online we were quite impressed. The crew (Pono and Keone) showed up the day of our event and worked seamlessly with all the other vendors (photographers, officiant, hair/makeup,..). We were very impressed with the professionalism, flexibility, and friendliness while accommodating all the various requests from us. Although they captured every single important moment of our wedding, they managed to stay in the background and tried not to dominate our attention and allow us to enjoy our big day!
The final products speak for themselves. The highlight video, which I highly recommend, is fantastic and has been shared with our entire family and friends. Everybody loves it and it wonderfully highlights our entire day in just a few minutes. The full DVD (now available in Blu-Ray) was exceptional and is one of our most important treasures that we will keep for the rest of our lives. Highly recommended!!

Kai Media & Kelii are truly talented videographers and they did an unbelievable job at capturing all the special moments at my wedding and making our wedding video look enchanting and moving! Their work surpassed my expectations in so many ways and truly was a masterpiece! They are extremely professional and a joy to work with.
On the day of my wedding, they arrived at my location on time and without bombarding me with a lot of questions about the location & set up details. They were such a pleasure to meet & work with on the day of my wedding. They paid a lot of attention to detail and was present to capture every special moment without being intrusive and getting in the way. In fact, they were so inconspicuous that some of my guest didn't even notice I had videographers. I cannot praise them enough for their truly exceptional work at my wedding. They are a five-star company and any bride would be lucky to have their crew video their wedding! WE LOVE LOVE LOVE this guys! Awesome crews and very friendly to work with. We all BOW down to all you esp. to Kelii- for a VERY AWESOME work and very creative talent. The whole crew is super friendly, easy to work with and very flexible. Everyone LOOOVE our highlights and we can't believe they did it that day. We still admit on watching it everyday. My fiance wanted them from the start and will not compromise and I'm so glad we got them. Everyone is awe on how amazing our highlights video. We left creative freedom up to them and were pleased with EVERYTHING that was selected for our wedding. They were so awesome and definitely well worth the value! Our wedding highlights were posted the very next day and it was easily accessible for everyone to view. Friends and family loved our video!!! We got lots of great feedback and many people told us they cried after watching the video! We even had friends asking for Kai Media's contact info so they could have them at their wedding! Wow! Kai Media is worth every dollar! The talent oozing from these boys is ridiculous! I have only seen my Highlight Video thus far and cannot describe in words how happy I was when I saw it. It took me back to my wedding in an even more glorious way. They are so talented, artistic, and creative. What's more, they are all sweethearts and an absolute pleasure to work with. One of the guys saw that I was very warm after the ceremony and ran to get me an ice cold water WITH A STRAW so as to not ruin my lipgloss. Their personal touch is unmatched in the industry. The highlight video came a week after the wedding - awesome turnaround time. It is not cheap, but money well spent in my opinion. My husband did all the leg work when it came to videographers and photographers. All I did was review their work to approve.
My husband did an awesome job in finding Kai Media. I didn't even realize they were even at the wedding. I totally thought Kelii and his team were with Visionari, our photographers, lol. They all worked and blended together seamlessly.
They did an unbelievable job at capturing all the special moments at our wedding and creating an exciting/colorful movie like video. Their work surpassed my expectations in so many ways and truly was a masterpiece! They are extremely professional.
There is just one SMALL issue I have when they edited our video, Kai Media focused 5 minutes worth on the ukulele guy singing at our ceremony. We would have preferred that 5 minutes of candid captures of our ceremony.

We really loved working with Keli'i and his team (I think that they are a family business). They were really fun to work with, super laid back, but very professional. They made sure to ask us what we wanted to ensure was captured on the day of, and then proceeded to capture that. We've so far received our highlight video, and it is really great. Very professionally done, includes part of our wedding vows as well as lots of memorable parts of our day. We really loved it! Keli'i also worked with our budget to try to make sure we got all the important parts of the day, and came even earlier than part of our contract to be sure and catch those preparation/detail shots. He told us that they often work together with our photographer, Visionari, and we could definitely tell, as they worked seamlessly, rarely getting in each other's shots. Highly recommend them. I originally gave this vendor a great review for the work they did the day of our wedding. It wasn't until after our wedding did this terrible nightmare with Kai Media begin. We were originally quoted 3-6 months for our wedding video. We also asked for a highlight video that was supposed to come sooner but never did. After 3 months i had my husband contact them to find out about our video. He emailed/called and didn't get any response. This went on for a couple of weeks till he just decided to stop by their office. When my husband arrived he spoke with our contact and he told my husband that they had some personal problems going on within the company and that's why it was taking so long. He said that they were behind on a lot of videos and that he just needed a little more time for ours. We took his word for it and gave it more time. We waited for the entire 6 months and once again tried to make contact by phone and email once again with no response. My husband again went down to talk to them at the office. Their response was that they changed their contracts and that their turnovers with their videos for their newer clients were 2-3 months so that's why ours wasn't ready yet. When he told that to my husband he was dumbfounded. How does that make sense you are trying to finish videos for clients that had their wedding after ours? Once again he reassured us ours would get done and they just needed more time. By this point we felt like something was fishy. My husband stayed on them by email and phone. Finally at almost 9 months my husband went down to the office again. Then they finally admitted what happened they lost our wedding footage. And we weren't the only couple this happened to. They were trying to stall all this time with all these lies to see if they could get it back. We never really got a straight answer on what happened exactly. All we knew was that something with the hard drive they used got deleted/taped over...blah blah blah. Supposedly they were sending the hard drive to Korea to see if they could get the footage back but we never heard back about that. They were able to give us a little of our wedding but the most important parts were missing from us getting ready with our bridal party till about 99% of our ceremony. They didn't even get us walking down the aisle. It was really horrible and we couldn't believe this was happening. Most of all we couldn't believe they didn't let us know about this earlier. They just strung us along and lied the entire time. My husband has tried to get in contact with them to see if we could get the hard drive so we could send it to someone ourselves to get the footage back but once again his emails and phone calls went without response. For this reason we feel that we didn't get the entire story about what really happened. I HIGHLY recommend not going with this company if you want your wedding video because you are at great risk of getting lied to and in the end not getting it at all. Such a disappointment! BUYER BEWARE!
