We when with Jock in the box entertainment for our wedding as seeing videos and other reviews, they seemed like an amazing DJ to work with us. Todd was our contact and our DJ for the night and did an absolute amazing job! He and his team were responsive and always willing to answer our questions quickly and fully. the prices were reasonable and included a wonderful webpage dedicated just to us to help plan our whole event. Todd even catered to our quirky wants of playing and smoothly including a few sea shanties in the mix that melded flawlessly into the music mix that kept everyone on the dance floor all night! I even had a groomsman come to me (the bride) and ask "why did you do this to me?! (sweating profusely half way through the night while grabbing water) why did you have the most amazing music and DJ!" as he proceeded to run back to the dance floor after a taking a second to drink water hearing the next perfect song. Todd kept the dancefloor going all night with our want for a classy club and hit the nail right on the head, feeling the crowd and exactly what we needed as the night went on. I would recommend Todd and his team to anyone who wants to have the most perfect dance party and wedding DJ possible!

We truly cannot say enough amazing things about DJ Todd! From start to finish, he was absolutely phenomenal and played such a huge role in making our wedding night unforgettable. The music was PERFECT — every transition was seamless, the dance floor was packed all night, and the energy never dropped. Throughout the planning process, Tim was extremely attentive, patient, and accommodating with all of our requests. On our Wedding Day, he was very flexible when we had to make some minor adjustments with entrances and toast schedules.. minutes before it happened.
We truly couldn’t have been more pleased with DJ Tim and the playlist he created! He played all of our “must play songs” which was definitely noted! A DJ Makes or Breaks the Reception - Jock in the Box Is The Best There Is!
We had the absolute BEST experience with Todd at our wedding on September 19, 2025. From the moment we first spoke with him, we knew we were in great hands. The years of experience he has shows- He truly knows his stuff inside and out. Todd was our most responsive and communicative vendor. He was always organized, and truly took the time to get to know us as a couple and our taste (even when we weren't sure what we wanted ourselves)!
When the big day came, he completely exceeded every expectation. Calling him “professional” doesn’t even feel right, he’s a genius at what he does. He didn’t just play music, he set the entire tone for the evening. Every transition was seamless, every song perfectly timed, and he knew exactly how to keep the energy up without it ever feeling forced. The dance floor was full from start to finish, with every generation out there having the best time.
One of our favorite moments was during speeches, he surprised us by playing funny sound effects at just the right moments during the punchlines, and it had everyone cracking up. It was such a clever, personal touch that made the night feel uniquely ours. That's just one example of the little details that showed how much he genuinely cared about making everything special.
You could tell our guests loved him just as much as we did. Throughout the night, and especially at the end, we saw so many people go up to thank him and tell him how amazing he was. We heard over and over again that it was “the most fun wedding” they’d ever been to, and we know a huge part of that was thanks to him.
Todd went above and beyond in every way, from reading the room perfectly, to handling announcements with ease, to keeping the party running so smoothly that we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. He made the night unforgettable, and we truly can’t recommend him enough. If you’re looking for someone who brings the perfect mix of talent, personality, and pure passion for what he does, Todd is the one.

Jock in the Box was one of the recommended DJs from the venue. We reached out and immediately got a response from Todd who proceeded to match us up with Tim who would be our DJ. In our first call we went through what we were looking for for atmosphere/vibe and Tim was able to deliver everything we wanted and more. He was responsive leading up to the wedding with song changes and requests, and day of he was able to move his setup between ceremony/cocktail hour/reception easily and kept the party going. Couldn’t of asked for a better celebration lead by Tim and the whole Jock in the Box operation

The BEST DJ you will find!
My husband and I recently had the pleasure of having Jock in The Box at our wedding at The Riverhouse. All we can say is, wow! Cam Powers is the real deal. From the moment we had our first call with him we knew he was going to be the best addition to our day. Cam brought the energy all night, our guests did not want it to end. If we heard it once we heard it a hundred times, that it was the most fun and most packed dance floor they had ever seen at a wedding. They even wanted an encore! Having Cam and Jock in The Box was one of if not the most important investments we made in our wedding day. We cannot thank him enough for making our wedding dreams come true! Steve Forster was amazing!
We hired Jock in the Box to DJ our wedding and Steve was absolutely incredible! From our first zoom meeting we knew we would be in good hands and that he understood what was important to us to make our day special. During cocktail hour he even came up to me to make sure it was okay to allow my parents to give an (unscheduled) speech, which was such a nice gesture. He kept the dance floor full all night playing all our favorite throwbacks and songs that kept the momentum up! The online planning tool that Jock in the Box uses was also super helpful in keeping everything organized and reminding us of all the different moments during the day that should have music. We couldn’t be happier to have had them as a part of our wedding!

Amazing DJ to work with!
Todd was fantastic to work with from start to finish! He was extremely professional, responsive, and helped us map out the perfect flow for the day, especially with speeches and dances. He even took the time to walk our officiant (a parent who had never done it before) through the microphone system and do a quick sound check, which eased nerves and made everything run smoothly.
On the wedding day, everything was seamless. The music was absolutely perfect for every moment, and the energy stayed high all night long. We loved the custom touches like the lighting and disco ball that wowed our guests. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and 100% recommend booking him for your special day!

He was friendly and fun. But more importantly he was incredibly on top of all the different timing and queues we had planned.
He even seamlessly covered all of the details we forgot to consider. For example, our wedding party processional was much longer than the song we chose, and Cam looped it on the spot making it sound like a natural extension rather than just replaying the song. Very cool.

Our amazing DJ!
My husband Tom and I are absolutely ELATED at how the wedding went!!! DJ Cam was absolutely incredible and we could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding!!! He was able to play so many of the songs we requested and then also mix in other songs that fit in perfectly with our vibe and taste.
The music at the ceremony and the first dances was absolutely perfect and just what we wanted.
In addition, Cam kept the party and music going all night even when it was right at the end of the night and only our families left at the venue.
My school friends also had made a video of my students giving me well wishes for the wedding. Cam collaborated with them to ensure that he was able to play the video at the reception to surprise me and I can’t thank him enough!

Great Personalized Experience
We hired Jock in the Box for our wedding DJ as part of a package deal with our venue. It ended up being a great value. Their online client portal is very thorough and easy to use, so we were able to let them know what music we wanted for ceremony, dinner, and dancing. Our DJ (Steve) met with us for a Zoom meeting a couple weeks before the wedding day to make sure he understood what we wanted in terms of style and timeline, and so he could have all our special songs prepared. He really made us feel comfortable and excited for our day. The ceremony music, first dance, and parent dances went off without a hitch. During the reception the music was to our taste, but he also kept the party going and had everyone on the dance floor. Steve also made sure he knew our day-of timeline, so we didn’t have to worry about things like when to do toasts or announce the cake cutting, etc. We would highly recommend Jock in the Box for any wedding or other important event.

We originally found Todd from Jock in the Box at a friend's wedding a couple of years ago and thought he was amazing then so we decided to inquire with him for our wedding and I am SO happy that we did. From our first meeting with Todd, all of our encounters with him through the planning process, and through the night of our weeding it is apparent that Todd is not only an expert at his craft but also truly cares about his clients.
Our dance floor was packed the entire night with people from all age groups and he kept the party going all night long. We didn't give him too many "must plays" or "do not plays" we just told him we wanted it to be a party all night let him work his magic and he really nailed it. We have gotten so many compliments about the music.
I seriously could not recommend Todd anymore - he is so fun, kind, professional and a master at what he does. You will absolutely not regret your choice if you go with him!

We’ve all been to weddings where couple entrances are awkward, speeches are uncomfortable, and the music doesn’t match the vibe.

Hire them!
From the minute I first spoke with Todd, I knew I wanted him to DJ my wedding. From the start, he gave off an awesome vibe, which he kept until the very end. Todd and his team are professional and very thorough when it comes to planning. He made sure to go over every detail with me to make sure the wedding went exactly the way my husband and I wanted. He was very flexible to and schedule changes, which made me more at ease.
Todd was a vendor I didn't have to micromanage on the day of my wedding. I NEEDED that. I appreciated that. Let me tell you...he killed it. Everyone had so much fun on the dance floor! I told him my family was a group of dancers and I wanted to spend the night on the dance floor. He didn't disappoint. He played banger after banger, hitting songs off my requested list and mixed in his own. But he wasn't just a DJ, he was also my emcee. He kept the night flowing or was ready to jump into action if I needed the night to move along.
Jock in the Box offers several package options, upgrades, and add-ons, which is nice for a one-stop shop. I appreciate that this company thought of things like how to create a better microphone to use during the ceremony. It's that out-of-the-box thinking that makes them next level.
In the end, I have nothing bad to say about this team. Just go ahead and book them.

Great DJ and VERY professional/flexible
Cam was very responsive, accommodating, and frankly a great energy/vibe for our wedding. Jock in the Box, as well as Cam, really made us feel like they had the wedding covered and we had nothing to worry about. Great experience! Can't go wrong. We also used their "dancing on a cloud" feature for our first dance and Cam absolutely NAILED it.

Hire Todd for your wedding!
Music was so important to me and my husband for our July 2024 wedding. Our goal was to have the best dance party possible, and Todd definitely helped us achieve this! Our guests of all ages were on the dance floor the entire night! We had many song requests from different genres that we shared with Todd prior to the wedding, and he ensured that they were all played. We received so many compliments from our guests about Todd and the atmosphere he helped create. I cannot recommend Todd and Jock in the Box highly enough!

As time passes after your wedding you have time to reflect on the choices you made for your big day. One we have never regretted is choosing Jock in the Box. Todd is a complete professional and went above and beyond to make our day special. He helped us put together a lip sync battle that was the highlight of our wedding for sure. He was a great emcee. From beginning to end working with him was easy and fun. He is really dedicated to his craft. The live edit was also so worth it. Such a highlight. You can't go wrong with Jock in the Box.

Our wedding was a perfect evening from beginning to end thanks in a large part to Todd Powers and JockInTheBox Entertainment. A true master of ceremonies who had people dancing all night. They did the audio/music for the ceremony and reception and provided the lighting which transformed the venue space. They are the best in the biz and if you are having an event in CT you are a fool for picking anyone else.

Wedding at Pond House
Could not have asked for a better DJ, we feel extremely fortunate that we booked Jock in the Box for our wedding. It was such a difficult thing to plan, but every time we talked with Todd we felt immediately better. He was extremely professional, and his years of experience really assured everything went so smoothly. Not to mention, his music selection had everyone tearing up the dance floor all night and everyone coming up to us after telling us how awesome our DJ was. It was a culturally mixed wedding, and Todd had EVERYONE dancing and everyone happy. 10000 out of 10, couldn’t recommend more.

DJ Todd from Jock in the Box = Best Decision!
Todd's passion, expertise, sense of humor and genuine interest in us as a couple came through so strongly on our initial call. We knew right away that he was the right person to DJ our wedding! The online portal and regular e-mail reminders sent by Jock in the Box kept us on track and organized throughout the planning process. Todd and Karen on his team also replied to all our questions in a timely manner. The challenge of our event was appealing to a wide range of ages and musical tastes. Todd delivered on that! Our dance floor was always full, and one guest commented we had a "fire playlist." Todd also ensured the technical aspects of the event (sound during ceremony, speeches, etc.) were executed flawlessly. We would highly recommend Todd from Jock in the Box for your future event!

Cam from Jock in the Box was amazing! He knew exactly how to keep the dance floor full and everyone was raving about how good of a job he did. The entire process with Cam was easy and seamless. Jock in the Box in general knows how to take care of their couples and make the planning process as stress free as possible. Their online platform was also super easy to use and very detailed. Not a single step was missed. After our initial meeting with Cam we just knew he would be a perfect fit for us and he did not disappoint!

The most amazing and fun DJ we could have ever had!
Todd at Jock in the Box exceeded our expectations on our wedding day! He listened to everything we wanted done and made sure it happened! He kept the dance floor going the entire duration of our wedding and was so amazing the entire time! If you need a DJ he is absolutely the one for you! We wanted a couple things done differently than some couples do and Todd worked with us from the beginning of the wedding to make sure it all happened exactly how we wanted it. He helped us distribute glow sticks, he played all the songs we requested, he stayed away from anything we didn't want, and he was just all around an amazing choice. We chose a package with uplighting and the magic mirror photo booth!

Amazing DJs
I got married last weekend and had an amazing reception! Jock in the Box was responsive from the start and everything was easy thereafter. Our DJ Tim was polite, flexible, and gave us great advice on how to time events at the reception before we even signed with him. During our reception Tim kept the party going, reading the crowd with amazing adeptness, and was able to accommodate last minutes changes. I highly recommend Tim and Jock in the Box to anyone looking for a DJ--multiple people said how awesome the music was.

Wedding DJ Peer Approved
As a wedding DJ myself, there is a very short list of DJs I’d trust to refer my friends to. My best friend’s wedding would be no exception, and luckily Todd was available. When I say Todd put on an absolute clinic would be an understatement. From smooth ceremony coordination, making sure the day ran smoothly, and then of course running that dance floor like no one’s business. He turned a medium sized side room at Branford House in Mystic into a club experience with how he managed the lighting. This wasn’t over the top - some light sticks and a bunch of uplights, but they were tastefully synced and programmed.
And the music - he was pulling out all the stops even during dinner, dropping throwbacks and getting people singing in between bites across all age ranges. It’s not like he peaked early either, he kept it going strong the entire night. Did I mention his contagious smile and upbeat attitude? This makes all the difference on a potentially crazy day - you can’t help but feel relaxed around him. Plus the humor he peppers throughout the day, you’ll know what I mean once you book him.
You better get on that now, this man does 80 weddings a year with how much demand he’s built up over the years. Don’t wait or your date might already be taken!

A Night To Remember
This was excellent service, myself, my husband, and all the wedding guests could not stop talking how great our DJ was. DJ Tim was kind and flexible and got everyone dancing all night long. Anytime we asked around for DJ recommendations- Todd Powers and Jock in the Box came up almost every single time- and for good reason. From our first meeting with Todd, he asked questions to get to know us as a couple and music that we liked. He talked about how he would go back to the years that we would've been in high school to find the "bangers" that would be popular for our friends and guests at the wedding and how he wanted it to feel like a club/party. Todd was incredibly communicative the entire year leading up to our wedding and was so stress-free and willing to do all our crazy/intricate introductions. We also were married on a stage in a theater where Todd had to work with stagehands and managers to ensure the sound was good quality and it all exceeded our expectations. I received texts from Todd the night before and morning of checking-in to see if I needed anything/had any questions and in the morning he sent a getting-ready playlist. Then came the reception....us, and ALL of our guests were blown away. Even my brother, who lives in DC, said he would want to hire Todd at any cost when/if he got married! The music was so perfectly curated for our group, the dance floor was absolutely packed the entire night, he created an amazing atmosphere with his uplighting, and even pieced together a mashup for my father/daughter dance. I could go on and on but the proof is in the guest experience- every single guest has said what an amazing experience they had because of the DJ. I would not hesitate to hire Todd for any event literally ever.

Couldn't have asked for a better DJ
Tim was absolutely amazing. There were a few hiccups (on our end) and he transitioned flawlessly, put me at ease multiple times and everyone RAVED about the music. The photo booth was a total hit and everyone loved having a keepsake to go home with. Hands down the best experience and Tim executed everything perfectly. On a scale of 1-5 Tim was a 20.
Thank you so much for everything you guys added on for us last minute. Working with Karen was so easy, she was so responsive and it was such a relief to not worry about anything.
People always say that they remember the music and food at a wedding and the experience Tim provided was beyond memorable.
If we could do it all over I wouldn’t change a thing! Thank you for being part of the most amazing day of our lives!

Amazing DJ that really brings together your special day. DJ Steve and Jock In The Box met all of our expectations and more. They were great in the planning process and walked us through the steps very clearly. Tim was professional, timely, and accommodating. He put my nerves at ease and Guaranteed a good time. He exceeded my expectations. Amazing experience with Todd & Team
Todd dj’d our wedding yesterday, 1.15.22 at the Woodwinds.
From the second he arrived, the whole crowd loved him!
Todd made planning out the timeline, songs, introductions, and ceremony so easy for us.
When it came time to call out our wedding party at the reception, Todd made it a point to ensure he was pronouncing all names correctly, had everyone in the right order, and played their favorite songs. He was incredibly personable and had great energy!
We also rented out their magic mirror, which we would highly recommend to anyone considering it!!! It was a total hit with all of our guests. The attendant at the mirror ran everything so all the guests had to do was go up, pick a background, and smile! Each guest gets a print and we get a usb of everyone’s photos!
Jock in the Box was amazing. Todd knows his music really well, has a ton of his own mixes and mash-ups, and had everyone on the dance floor all night long.

the DJ you NEED!
Todd was amazing! We had our wedding from 10 am to 3 pm yet he was able to make everyone dance like its 10 pm! He listened to what we wanted and suggested as needed. He was also super understanding and I really appreciated that. I truly can't ask for anything more!

Steve was absolutely amazing to work with leading up to and the day of our wedding! When we met with Steve the month of our wedding, he had a lot of great suggestions and was willing to accommodate all of our requests. Steve is a true professional in the business and it shows! Steve didn't just create a playlist and press play. He made sure to engage with our guests, read the room, and make sure our guests had the best time. He truly curated a one-of-a-kind experience for our wedding. Our guests DID NOT leave the dance floor, and even months later we still have people talking about our DJ!

Amazing experience!
If you are looking for a wedding DJ, STOP! You found them!! My husband and I can't say enough about Todd and Jock in the Box. From the moment we met Todd, we knew he could bring the party and keep guests on the dance floor all night long. Finding the right DJ was on the top of our priority list. We can't stand when DJs play songs that guest don't know and it completely kills the vibe. Todd assured us that would not happen and I can say from experience our guests didn't leave the dance floor! We spent the extra money for the magic mirror and live edit and it was worth every penny! There was always a line at the mirror and there wasn't a dry eye in the house after the live edit. It was such a special moment to share photos with our guests in such a unique way. And we got so many compliments about Todd and his team!!! Oh, and we rescheduled 3 times because of COVID and each time Todd and his team made the process of rescheduling so easy and simple. Honestly, I could go on and on! I would recommend Todd and Jock in the Box to anyone looking for their wedding DJ. We had the most amazing experience with them and I wish we could do it all over again! Seriously, you won't regret it!

Our experience with Todd from Jock in the Box was nothing short of amazing! Todd was very responsive through the whole planning process and made sure that everything was the way we had wanted for our big day! DJ Todd brought the house down!
I don't know how he did it, but DJ Todd somehow got inside my brain and literally only played songs that I love during our wedding reception. From the minute we stepped into our tent for dinner, he played songs that got everyone singing, dancing in their seats, and eventually up on the dance floor tearing it up for the whole night. When I told him during our consultation meeting that I wanted to be able to "sing along to every single song," he actually listened and made the magic happen. From the time we all hit the dance floor, I truly felt like I was at an aerobics class - we were dancing SO much and it was the most fun. Anytime he could sense that a song wasn't necessarily as much of a favorite as the last, he would instantly change it and keep the party going. Truly a magician. Thank you, Todd, for making our wedding reception SO much fun. The joyful memories of the dance floor are some of my favorites of the entire day.

Party of the Year
The moment I met Todd at a wedding expo, I told my wife that if I was making one decision throughout the wedding planning process - it was having this guy at our reception.
Todd's energy is absolutely contagious. He takes the stress and worry out of wedding planning and injects absolute excitement about the big day. Even though Todd is one of the most fun people we've ever been around - he's there to work. He doesn't upstage the couple, he's just there to entertain...and trust us, he's a master at it.
Todd reads the room perfectly. We had 140 guests ranging from ages 16 to 88, and all 140 of them were on the dance floor for as long as we were allowed to be dancing. Todd mixed up the music and played to the crowd, but made sure that everything we had talked about was a featured set.
We've been to plenty of wedding over the last two years, but bar none, Todd was the best DJ and emcee (confirmed by every one of our guests). There is no easier decision than hiring the Jock in the Box team, and we endorse them wholeheartedly!

Todd is the BEST! He gets the party going right from the get go! He is so organized and confident in his work which is key. He has great systems in place to make sure you hear exactly what you want! Our wedding was so much fun. Everyone kept telling us how great our DJ Jeremy (DJ Snax) was, we absolutely loved him and everyone was dancing until the very end! Jock in the Box review - 5 stars!!
We hired Jock in the Box back in 2019 when we got engaged, pre-pandemic, for our wedding that was supposed to be in 2020. Throughout our entire experience with Jock in the Box, Todd and his crew were always professional and prompt in getting back to us to constantly change plans. When we decided to push to 2021, Todd was flexible and was assisting us in any way possible. Due to an unfortunate passing of one of their DJ's, we hired Frank Calabro to be our DJ for our July 2021 wedding. We were able to meet with Frank in person multiple times to explain our vision to him. He was able to do everything we wanted and much more! We had an unbelievable experience with Frank, Todd and the entire Jock in the Box team. We are very thankful and would hire them again in an instant.

Having attended other events that Todd from Jock in the Box had DJ’d, we knew he was the only choice for our wedding! Todd and his team communicated with us from the start. He was quick to respond to emails and the online database made it very easy to provide a timeline, select specific songs, and add personal touches to our day. We had an awesome initial and final meeting at the office where we could see and experience different additions like the magic mirror, lights, and speakers in person. It’s very clear that Todd puts a lot of work into his craft. He spent time to get to know us as a couple and understand our vibe. On the day of our wedding, Todd brought great energy. He helped our day run smoothly and got every single guest out on the dance floor - that’s not an exaggeration! Thank you Todd and the team at Jock in the Box! The best dj there is
Todd is absolutely wonderful to work with. He did such an amazing job on our wedding day - from sitting down with us to plan our day, to explaining the game plan on the day to our bridal party, being so flexible with our day-of-schedule and playing the best music! Steve from Jock in the Box was our DJ for our May 2021 post-pandemic wedding. We can't say enough positive things about him. It was very easy to work with Steve and the rest of the Jock in the Box team during the booking and planning phase. After our we had many people comment on how great our DJ was. The dance floor was packed all night and everyone was exhausted by the end!! We had so much fun and would highly recommend Jock in the Box!

Todd and Jock in the Box are the REAL DEAL!
From our very first phone call with Todd, my wife and I knew that we had the right Entertainment Group for our wedding. Todd was awesome, tremendously professional, but also very easy to work with and talk to. He did a great job at reviewing our song list and compiling a great playlist throughout our night and adding some great surprise songs, everyone young and old had a great time and were on the dance floor. In addition, the Magic Mirror that we got was a huge hit! They even customized it, knowing that my wife and I are huge Red Sox fans, to have a picture of David Ortiz! Todd also worked with me on a surprise for my wife, which made our day so special and unforgettable! I cannot say enough nice things about Todd and the group at Jock in the Box Entertainment, if you are having an event of any kind, please use them! Thank you for everything Todd!

We used Jock in the Box for our wedding DJ. Everything about them was perfect! Steve, the DJ that we had was the best! He has a great personality and made our evening so fun! My husband and I would recommend Todd 100 times! We had to postpone our wedding reception due to Covid, and throughout the planning process, Todd was supportive, positive, and easy to work with. He is very responsive to communication before the wedding, and very thorough in asking about what kind of music and vibe we wanted for every part of our big day. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner went off without a hitch, but what was really amazing about Todd was the way he read the crowd and put on the best mix for dancing. We had people on the dance floor the whole night and got SO many compliments from our guests about how much fun they had and how amazing our DJ was. The photo slideshows that Todd showed during our first dance and parent dances really made the night even more special, and Todd even helped my maid of honor pull off a special video surprise from my students. If you are looking for someone who knows how to throw a party and keep it going all night, Todd is your guy! We could not have asked for a better DJ to help make our wedding so seamless and fun!
